Resiliensi dan Kematangan Karier terhadap Quarter-Life Crisis pada Mahasiswa Fresh Graduate UIN Sumatera Utara

This study examines whether resilience and career maturity explain variance in quarter-life crisis (QLC) among fresh graduates of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University of North Sumatra. Using a quantitative correlational design with purposive sampling (2023–2024 graduates), validated Likert-type scales captured resilience (CD-RISC-based), career maturity (planning, exploration, occupational information, decision-making), and QLC indicators. After meeting classical assumptions, multiple linear regression showed a jointly significant model (R² = .443; Adjusted R² = .432). Partially, higher resilience related to lower QLC, and career maturity had a significant negative effect on QLC, supporting a dual-path account in which psychological hardiness and vocational clarity jointly mitigate early-career identity strain. Practical implications recommend an integrated career-readiness + resilience package (career clinics, decision-making and job-search training, structured internships/projects, personal finance education, and digital well-being). Limitations include cross-sectional design, self-report measures, and a 10% margin of error; future work should adopt longitudinal/SEM approaches to test mediating or moderating mechanisms (e.g., career efficacy, peer support, family economy, functional religiosity)

Waste refers to residual materials resulting from various human daily activities or natural processes that exist in solid form. In general, the term waste denotes unwanted materials or substances considered to have lost their usefulness after a certain activity or domestic process has been completed. To date, waste management efforts in many regions have not yet achieved optimal results. The level of public awareness and concern regarding environmental issues related to waste also varies significantly, making this issue an urgent environmental challenge that requires immediate attention and solutions. This study focuses on testing the effectiveness of waste treatment methods through the combustion process. The main objective is to determine the concentration levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and other hazardous gases generated during combustion, as well as to evaluate the performance of a waste incineration machine designed to produce low-smoke emissions. Gas concentration measurements were conducted using gas detection sensors integrated with an Arduino-based microcontroller system. The research approach combines both qualitative and quantitative methods. The qualitative aspect involves reviewing and comparing previous research findings, while the quantitative approach is carried out through direct measurements using a self-designed measuring instrument. This study is part of an ongoing research program aimed at developing a Low-Smoke Waste Incinerator Machine. Preliminary results indicate that the effectiveness level of the waste incinerator remains relatively low. This condition is attributed to the high concentrations of harmful exhaust gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and sulfur dioxide (SO₂) produced during the combustion process. In addition, the design of the incinerator has not yet reached optimal efficiency, as reflected by the persistently high NOx and SO₂ emissions. Therefore, more precise calibration of the gas sensors is required to ensure that the measurement data obtained accurately represent the actual concentrations of combustion gases

Kajian Hukum Praktik Pengobatan Tradisional Berbasis Metafisik dalam Perspektif Regulasi UU Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 dan UU Nomor 17 Tahun 2023

Traditional metaphysical-based healing practices are an integral part of Indonesian culture, particularly in rural areas where access to modern healthcare services remains limited. Although not always supported by empirical medical evidence, the public’s trust in these time-honored methods and their spiritual values keeps these practices relevant. However, national regulatory dynamics have raised new issues, particularly following the enactment of Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health, which recognizes traditional medicine as part of the national health system, and Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code, which introduces criminal penalties for non-medical practices deemed harmful or misleading. This regulatory duality creates legal uncertainty and dilemmas for traditional healers in obtaining legal recognition and protection. This study aims to analyze the conflict of norms between the two laws in the context of the legitimacy of metaphysical-based traditional medicine and provide recommendations for regulatory harmonization. The research method used is normative law with a legislative and conceptual approach, supported by a literature review of primary and secondary legal materials. The results of the study indicate that regulatory disharmony has resulted in limited legal protection for traditional healers, while service users are in a vulnerable position due to the absence of adequate supervision and protection
