Infill Density Effects on Impact Strength of PLA+
3D printing is an additive manufacturing method. In its process, several parameters can be adjusted to achieve the desired printing results. This study examines the effect of infill percentage on the Charpy impact strength of PLA+ materials made using the fused deposition modeling (FDM) method. The specimens used follow the ISO 179-1 type 1 standard without notches and are made with infill variations of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%. Each variation is tested five times using a JB-S300 Charpy impact tester. The absorbed energy is then calculated into the Charpy impact strength (kJ/m²) according to the ISO 179-1 standard. The results show that the impact strength increases with increasing infill, from 10.9 kJ/m² at 20% infill to 30.4 kJ/m² at 100% infill. These results emphasize the effect of infill on energy absorption and the importance of parameter control to improve the consistency of results in FDM printed PLA+ components.3D print merupakan metode manufaktur yang bersifat aditif (penambahan).
The Measurement of 6500K E27 LED Lamp’s Light Intensity
This paper discusses a light intensity test on a 6500K, Cool Daylight type, 9W E27 Light-Emitting Diodes (LED), that does not have any Internet of Things (IoT) features or additional sensors, using an Arduino GY-302 BH1750 sensor and two lux meters. Research was conducted in several steps on 35 lamps to observe and identify an interesting phenomenon related to the quality of light produced by these lamps. Experiment shows that a lamp with a high light flux does not necessarily produce high light intensity. This study also demonstrates that a diffusing globe on the lux meter makes the reading results different
Analisa Risiko Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Menggunakan Metode HIRADC Pada Pekerjaan Penggantian Trafo 3 GIS Penggilingan
The replacement work of Transformer 3 at the GIS Substation in Penggilingan carries a high level of risk to occupational health and safety (OHS), necessitating a systematic approach to identify and control potential hazards. This study applies the HIRADC method (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control) to assess risks across 17 stages of work activities. The assessment results show that 53% of activities fall into the high-risk category, 23.5% into medium risk, and 23.5% into low risk. The main hazards identified include exposure to high-voltage electricity, heavy load handling, confined working spaces, and exposure to SF₆ gas. Risk control measures were implemented based on the hierarchy of controls, starting from elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The application of the HIRADC method proved effective in formulating risk mitigation strategies and improving safety standards, particularly in high-voltage electrical work environments such as GIS substations
Evaluating The CURB-65 Score for Prognostic Assessment in COVID-19 Patients: A Systematic Review
Introduction: Several instruments and biomarkers have been used to assess the severity and predict outcomes in COVID-19 patients, each with varying sensitivity levels. One such tool is the CURB-65 score—an acronym for Confusion, Urea nitrogen, Respiratory rate, Blood pressure, and age ≥65 years—which has traditionally been used to evaluate the severity of community-acquired pneumonia. Its application in COVID-19 patients aims to identify clinical deterioration and assist in risk stratification. Accurate prognosis is essential to guide clinical management and reduce mortality. However, the utility of the CURB-65 score in predicting outcomes in COVID-19 patients remains a subject of debate. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the CURB-65 score in determining the prognosis of patients with COVID-19.
Methods:This systematic review was conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines. Relevant studies published between 2020 and 2022 were identified through searches using predefined keywords in PubMed, ScienceDirect, and EBSCO databases. Studies of all designs that assessed the CURB-65 score concerning COVID-19 outcomes were considered for inclusion.
Results: Ten studies were included in this review, evaluating the CURB-65 score's effectiveness in predicting various outcomes in COVID-19 patients, including overall mortality, 30-day mortality, adverse outcomes, need for organ support, ICU admission and intervention, critical illness, mechanical ventilation, and 72-hour mortality. Seven out of ten studies demonstrated good prognostic performance of the CURB-65 score, with sensitivity greater than 80% or an Area Under the Curve (AUC) exceeding 0.80 for predicting mortality.
Conclusion: The CURB-65 score shows promising utility in predicting mortality among COVID-19 patients and may perform better than several other prognostic tools. Its simplicity and accessibility make it a valuable aid in clinical decision-making, although further validation in different populations may be warranted
