Get PDF本研究の目的は，人口流出が続く地区の男性高齢者による通所型介護予防事業の評価を通して利用継続の要因を明らかにし，男性高齢者の社会参加の視点から地域包括ケアシステムの充実について検討することである。研究方法として，通所型介護予防事業を利用する男性高齢者8 名を対象に半構成的個別インタビューを実施し，質的記述的に分析した。通所型介護予防事業を継続的に利用する男性高齢者には“利用前からある特性”があり，“教室に対する前向きな認識”を持ち，さらに“変化の実感”を経験していることが明らかとなった。健康への関心が高く高齢者の社会参加に対する意義を理解しているという特性をもつ男性高齢者が，事業に対して健康を維持できる居心地のよい場所であり自分のためになると肯定的に評価し，継続的に利用している可能性が示唆された。男性高齢者による地域へのニーズは，“現在の生活の持続”，“現状維持のための方策”，“地域を挙げた支え合い”の3 点に集約された。本研究の対象地区では地域住民を中心とした互助のしくみが既に存在しているが，男性高齢者からはその安定と発展が必要と認識されていた。当該地区の男性高齢者において地域包括ケアシステムが目指す住み慣れた地域での生活の継続を実現するためには，高齢者が通所型介護予防事業等の社会活動に継続的に参加できるような，地域を挙げた支え合いによる互助のしくみの充実が課題であると考えられる。departmental bulletin pape
