Motifs in Image and Text: Narrative, Imagery, and Symbolism in Ariyoshi Sawako's novel Shibazakura (Moss Phlox) Part 2 "Madara Neko" Chapter
Get PDFapplication/pdftextThis essay is a continuation on the novel Shibazakura (Moss Phlox) by Ariyoshi Sawako (1931―1984), addressing the themes, or motifs, in the “Madara Neko” (Calico Cat) second chapter of the novel, illustrated by the leading Sho¯wa illustrator Iwata Sentaro¯ (1901―1974) in the Shu¯kan Shincho¯ magazine in which the novel was originally serialized. Many of the themes and motifs of the first chapter continue into the “Calico Cat” chapter, and throughout the novel as a whole, such as the symbolism of the moss phlox and goldfish episode seen in the first chapter and emblematic both of the book as a whole, as well as the problematic relationship between the two main characters, the geisha Masako and Tsuta. The themes of love and marriage as well as the status of wife versus geisha likewise continue into the second chapter, but other themes, such as jealousy and competition, play a more significant role in this chapter. The kimono motifs, in particular, are highly symbolic of the characters and the events narrated in the “Calico Cat” chapter. This current essay (part 2) covers the novel from the 21st installment of May 24 of 1969 to its 37 th installment of September 13 of 1969 in the Shu¯kan Shincho¯ magazine (“Madara Neko” episodes 1―17 in the book edition). 新型コロナ禍でのオンラインによる継続型半構成的エンカウンター・グループ ―メンバーへの影響とファシリテーター体験の検討─
Get PDFapplication/pdftext本論では、実施したオンラインによる継続型半構成的エンカウンター・グループの構造とプロセスを報告し、その効果検証と、ファシリテーター・スタッフ体験を通した考察を下記のように行った。（１）メンバーへの影響として、新型コロナウイルス禍の人間関係の希薄化には、一定の影響を与え、エンカウンター・グループ自体の参加意欲が高まる可能性が示唆された。一方、メンバーへの「出会いづらさ」という点がオンライン独特の影響を与えている可能性が示唆された。また通信障害による分断とも思えるような状況は、今後の課題と思われる。また半構成的エンカウンター・グループを採用したが、潜在力の高いメンバーの多いGrowth Groupの場合の対応が今後は検討される必要性が考えられた。連続性と言う観点で、オンラインは対面式より、セッションとセッションの間をつなぐ構造が弱いため、深まりや物足りなさを感じる傾向も示唆された。（２）グループ構造面としては、通信障害の課題やセッション数や時間などの改善が求められた。（３）ファシリテート面は、ファシリテーターとしての表面的な応答ではなく、率直さを表現する必要性が今後の大きな課題であることが明らかになった。（４）４か月後のファシリテーターの振り返りでは、オンラインの「出会いづらさ」も影響してか、書き進めづらさに影響を与えていた可能性が考えられた。一方、ファシリテーター自身が、メンバーや他のスタッフから支えられ、人やグループへの信頼感を高める要因になった経験も、未熟なファシリテーターとしては良い体験的学びであった。departmental bulletin pape
【論文】東ティロルの空間的構造と人の流れ
Get PDFapplication/pdftextオーストリア・ティロル州の一部である東ティロル＝リーエンツ郡の社会経済的な空間構造を解明するために、日常的な人の流れを定量的に分析した。その結果、リーエンツ郡全体としては、郡外への通勤者が郡外からの通勤者を上回っていること、そのなかで郡庁所在地ゲマインデ・リーエンツがこの地域の通勤者を集める中核を形成していること、州都インスブルックとの人流的な連関よりもケルンテン州シュピタール・アン・デア・ドラウ郡とのそれが緊密であることを確認した。departmental bulletin pape
