Comic Strips in Teaching Simple Past Tense for EFL Learners
Get PDFTeaching English needs various media and methods to make the studentsenthusiastic in teaching and learning process. A lot of media are employed inteaching and learning process. One of media used in teaching grammar especiallytenses is comic strips. Comic strips tell a story in form of pictures series and textstructures or dialogue. This article aims to find out the effect of using Englishcomic strips as media in teaching simple past tense. A quasi experimental designis used in this study to identify the causal impact of an intervention on targetpopulation without random assignment when the treatments were given. Thesubjects of this study were the seventh grade students of junior high school.The finding of t-test obtained was 3.865 which were higher than t-table 2.08.It means that the comic strips are effective for teaching simple past tense. Thecomic strips can be used in teaching other aspects such as storytelling, anothertense, writing and so forth, and also it can be collaborated with the students’learning style
Venders’ English Speaking Ability in Tourism Object in Bali: A Survey Study
Get PDFBali is known as a tourist destination which is always filled with tourists, both domestic and foreigners. Besides being famous for its culture, the beach is one of the main attractions for tourists. Berawa Beach is one that is always crowded with foreign tourists because it has large waves which are great for surfing and also to enjoy the beautiful sunset. This phenomenon provides opportunities for local people as a source of income by becoming food and beverage sellers around Berawa beach. This encourages local people to use English when they transact with foreign tourists. Practically, the English language used by traders is practical English with transactional functions. This study aims to describe the ability of English use by food and beverage traders in Berawa Beach, Tibubeneng village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency in terms of the speaking aspect. In order to determine the traders speaking ability, the researcher uses scoring rubric descriptions that contain several aspects such as, grammar, pronunciation, fluency, and vocabulary. Data is collected through several instruments such as interviews, direct observation, and field notes. The results of this study can be used as input for stakeholders of Tibubeneng Village to determine the steps in improving the English language skills of food and beverage traders who ultimately can contribute positively to Badung Regency in advancing the tourism industry while introducing various kinds of local culinary

Get PDFThe sale and purchase binding agreement is a legal breakthrough that was born out of the needs of the community. Used by the parties as a preliminary agreement because it has not been able to fulfill the conditions to carry out the sale and purchase before the officials of the land deed. However, in practice, binding of sale and purchase agreement is made not because of the sale and purchase transaction but as debt guarantee which the debtor plays as the seller and the creditor as the buyer. So the problem is how the legitimacy of binding agreement of sale and purchase as well as the sale power suspended as debt guarantee? then what is the basis of legal considerations for judges in deciding cases binding sale and purchase agreement that hung as debt guarantee ?. This research is a normative juridical research by using approach of legislation, concept and case. From the result of the research, it is concluded that the deed made by the parties before the notary is valid as an authentic deed which has been in accordance with the legislation, and the sale power is a unity in the sale and purchase agreement, where the seller authorizes the buyer to do duty rather than an authorizer. The sale power made by the parties is also an authentic deed and not an absolute authority prohibited by the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 14/ 1982 because it does not contain an element of transfer of rights. Based on several considerations of the judge, it can be deduced that as long as the deed of sale and purchase agreement of sale and sale has been made and executed legally as authentic deed which has perfect evidentiary power, then the deed can not be canceled

Based on the results of research with the qualitative method carried out during the assessment of PT Mitra Kerinci's Superior Performance Assessment Criteria (KPKU), the following conclusions can be drawn: from the aspect of KPKU indicators that have been further analyzed by PT Mitra Kerinci through several processes such as 1. Application of the compilation Performance Appraisal based on PT Mitra Kerinci's Superior Performance Evaluation Criteria (KPKU) for the RNI Group's Superior Performance Assessment Criteria (KPKU) assessment which still uses partial. 2. Pengaruh Loyalitas Dan Sikap Pada Perubahan Organisasi Terhadap Keinginan Pensiun Dini
Get PDFTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak loyalitas karyawan dan perubahan organisasi terhadap keinginan pensiun dini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 319 pegawai PT. INKA dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan multiple regression untuk menganalisis data. Penelitian ini menghasilkan loyalitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap penisiun dini dan sikap pada perubahan tidak berpengaruh pada keinginan pensiun dini. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah organisasi harus bisa meningkatkan loyalitas pegawainya melalui program-program enggagement sehingga bisa mengurangi keinginan pensiun dini pada karyawan

Get PDFPenelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) program AMOS 21.0 untuk menguji kausalitas dalam model yang telah diusulkan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah nasabah bank di kota Padang yang sudah menggunakan layanan mobile banking. Teknik sampling menggunakan non probability sampling – kuota sampling. Dari kuesioner yang disebar diperoleh 250 kuesioner yang valid melalui survei offline dan online. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian model keseluruhan, menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel perceived risks, performance expectancy, perceived service quality,behavioral intention dan usage behavior. Dalam penelitian ini minat prilaku dipengaruhi langsung oleh harapan kinerja, persepsi kualitas jasa, serta persepsi risiko berpengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhadap niat berprilaku.
HUBUNGAN PEMAKAIAN POPOK SEKALI PAKAI PADA BALITA (USIA 0–3 TAHUN) DENGAN TERJADINYA DERMATITIS ALERGI POPOK DI PURWOHARJO BANYUWANGI
Get PDFBadan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) pada tahun 2009 prevalensi iritasi kulit (ruam popok) pada bayi cukup tinggi 25% dari 6.840.507.000 bayi yang lahir di dunia kebanyakan menderita iritasi kulit (ruam popok) akibat penggunaan popok. Angka terbanyak ditemukan pada usia 6-12 bulan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pemakaian Popok Sekali Pakai Pada Balita (Usia 0–3 Tahun) dengan Terjadinya Dermatitis Alergi Popok di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwoharjo Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Analitik Korelasi di mana rancangan penelitian yang di gunakan adalah Cross Sectional, populasinya adalah ibu yang mempunyai Balita (Usia 0–3 Tahun) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwoharjo Banyuwangi sebanyak 29 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan Total Sampling. pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan kuesioner serta di analisis menggunakan uji Korelasi Spearman Rank dengan proses SPSS denganversi17. Hasil penelitian menyatakan sebagian besar responden mempunyai frekuensi pemakaian popok sekali pakai dalam kategori lama sebanyak 16 responden (55,2%), dan sebagian besar dari responden mempunyai anak yang mengalami Dermatitis popok dengan kategori berat sebanyak 20 responden (69,0%). Hasil uji statistik di dapatkan Spearman hitung dalam penelitian ini yaitu (0,819) > (0,491) nilai spearman tabel, yang artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima atau Ada Hubungan Pemakaian Popok Sekali Pakai Pada Balita (Usia 0–3 Tahun) dengan Terjadinya Dermatitis Alergi Popok wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwoharjo Banyuwangi. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat di simpulkan bahwa penggunaan popok yang lama akan berdampak terjadinya dermatitis. Maka sebaiknya di sarankan bagi responden untuk mengganti popok sekali pakai pada anak dalam durasi waktu yang sebentar untuk menanggulangi terjadinya dermatitis

Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk dan strategi penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh divaliditas dengan menggunakan triannggulasi data yaitu peneliti, teori, dan metodelogis. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Pengembangan pariwissata terpadu adalah dengan cara memadukan berbagai potensi yang dimiliki oleh Banyuwangi menjadi daya tarik wisata baik potensi wisata alam, budaya, sejarah, maupun religi. Konsep terpadu digunakan untuk memberikan warna tersendiri bagi wisatawan agar tidak jenuh dalam menikmati pariwisata. The negative perceptions of the kapuhunan made the local people anxious if they did not have time to eat the food that had been served. Get PDFKegiatan sosialisasi pasar modal sebanyak 5.027 buah kegiatan membuahkan hasil yang cukup baik, karena berhasil menciptakan 200.935 SID (Single Investor Identification) baru di tahun 2018, sehingga jumlah total SID sampai akhir tahun 2018 sebanyak 829.426 SID. Namun, Pada tahun 2018, jumlah investor aktif justru turun sebesar -59,05%. Penurunan ini menandakan bahwa proses sosialisasi saat ini hanya mengutamakan peningkatan jumlah investor, tetapi investor tersebut hanya menjadi investor pasif di pasar modal tanpa melakukan transaksi. Oleh karena itu, proses peningkatan literasi mengenai dasar-dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan berinvestasi di pasar modal syariah sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan sejak dini. Mitra dari pengabdian ini adalah SMK Al Hasan Panti Jember. Tim pelaksana memberikan materi pengetahuan seputar pasar modal syariah di Indonesia dengan tujuan menanamkan jiwa investasi sejak dini.
