CORPUS LINGUISTICS: UTILIZATION OF A MORPHOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE
This research aims to examine the use of corpus linguistics from a morphological perspective. Corpus linguistics, as an empirical method that utilizes collections of texts or speech, allows researchers to carry out language analysis on a large scale with a higher level of accuracy. In the field of morphology, this approach is used to identify and analyze the frequency and distribution of morphemes, morphological variations, and distribution patterns of affixes in various linguistic contexts. Through comprehensive corpus data analysis, this research is expected to reveal morphological patterns that are not visible in small or introspective studies. The research results show that the corpus-based approach provides deeper and broader insights into the morphological structure of language, although there are several challenges such as the representativeness of the corpus and complex data processing. This research makes a significant contribution to the understanding of morphological variation and distribution and offers recommendations for a more effective corpus research methodology

The utterances of two main characters in the film are collected, which are then categorized by type according to the theory proposed by Molina and Albir. These utterances are then analyzed and described accordingly. The research findings show that there are 13 out of 18 techniques used in the subtitle, with literal translation (146 data) as the most dominant technique. This result is in line with previous studies on the similar topic, which also have literal translation as the most dominant technique used. In summary, it can be said that there are only a few translation techniques that are actually suitable in translating movie subtitles. As the implication of this study, this research contributes to the study of language in film media and knowledge enrichment for those who are interested in translation techniques
The Influence of Educational Costs and Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation on Students' Academic Achievement

The midterm examination scores (UTS) served as the source of academic achievement data, particularly for the Calculus course. This study involved simple random sampling of 64 third-semester students from the Industrial Engineering Program at Universitas Indraprasta PGRI. The results indicate that: (1) educational costs have a significant direct effect on academic achievement, (2) educational costs have a significant direct effect on academic achievement, and (3) students' motivation levels are indirectly influenced by educational costs. These findings suggest that motivation and financial factors are crucial for enhancing the academic performance of students in the Industrial Engineering program. Keywords: educational costs, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, academic achievement of student
