    No full text
It’s influence on adolescent career development in a collectivist context, but only a few studies have succeeded in integrating these variables, namely parenting style, influence, identity. This article aims to analyze relevant research to determine parenting style, influence, identity in career choice-collectivism theory. This research is descriptive research with a systematic literature review (SLR) method. Literature data was obtained from several pages such as Google Scholar, Sinta Ristekbrin, and Garuda Ristekbrin. To review the data literature, the main keywords used are "career choice" "career" "Parenting Pattern" "Identity". From the literature that has been reviewed, it is known that parenting style and self-identity help children with career aspects. Overall research shows that the parenting style of parents or teachers at school greatly influences children's conservation choices. Authoritarian parenting styles influence children's thinking styles. It has been proven by several pieces of literature from research results that show that the most common parenting style used by parents is authoritarian parenting. Meanwhile, making career decisions requires broader complex factors, including information about career, talents, self-concept, values and personal interests. This conclusion is supported by differences in research results. Career decisions are usually influenced by broader issues, even when a person's thinking and behavior is influenced by a parent's authoritarian parenting approach. This is because not everyone who was raised in an authoritarian environment is unable to overcome the negative impacts of this parenting style, some people who were raised in an authoritarian environment may show a high level of obedience but still have good career decision-making skills Keywords: Parenting Style, Influence, Identity, Career Choice

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model combined with the lecture and question and answer method at SDN 18 Kampung Baru Lubuk Begalung. This study was conducted through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation of fifth grade students' learning activities. The results of the observation showed that the implementation of the PBL model was able to create an interactive learning atmosphere, foster student involvement, and develop critical thinking skills. The lecture method was used by teachers to convey basic information and material structure, while the question and answer method encouraged students to actively ask and answer questions, while increasing their understanding of the material. In the context of elementary learning, this combination is an effective approach because students do not only receive information passively, but are directly involved in the process of exploring and synthesizing information. However, this study also found several obstacles such as time constraints and variations in the level of student courage in responding. However, teachers showed adaptive abilities in managing the class and adjusting strategies according to student characteristics. The conclusion of this study states that the combined approach of PBL, lectures, and question and answer has great potential in improving the quality of elementary learning as a whole. Therefore, this strategy can be recommended as an alternative in compiling learning designs based on active student participation

Kampung Naga’s Forbidden Forest and Wisdom for Ecological Adaptation Strategy

    No full text
The Kampung Naga indigenous community in West Java exemplifies a conservation model based on local wisdom. For centuries, they have protected a 50-hectare Forbidden Forest. This study aims to examine the Kampung Naga Forbidden Forest as a socio-ecological adaptation system in response to global disruption. Through a qualitative literature review, the study found that this forest, protected by customary laws such as logging prohibitions and the leuit (communal rice barn) system, plays a crucial role in conserving biodiversity, water management, and food security. The study found that this forest conserves 85% of endemic plant species and absorbs millions of liters of rainwater annually. However, increasing external pressures, such as infrastructure development, mass tourism, and the decline of traditional ecological knowledge over generations, have begun to erode its sacred value and sustainability. Traditional rituals such as Sedekah Bumi (Earth Almsgiving) have been commercialized into paid festivals, while youth engagement in ecological customs such as ngaruat (alms-giving rituals) has declined drastically. Using Cultural Ecology and the Social Construction of Reality as theoretical frameworks, this study argues that Kampung Naga's resilience stems from its ability to integrate ancestral beliefs with modern legal instruments and frameworks. The study concludes that the Forbidden Forest is not only a conservation area, but also a cultural and spiritual landscape shaped by the practices of indigenous communities over generations. The novelty of this research, its sustainability, offers valuable insights into community-based ecological strategies in an era of global disruptio

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the influence of language in digital promotions on the image of tourist destinations by highlighting four key indicators: message clarity, narrative appeal, language style, and cultural appropriateness. Destination image is measured through two main dimensions: cognitive perception, which relates to tourists' knowledge and rational understanding of the destination, and affective perception, which reflects the emotional bond and aesthetic impression formed. This study used a quantitative survey approach, collecting data from 110 respondents, residents of Tangerang City, using a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that message clarity, narrative appeal, language style, and cultural appropriateness contribute significantly to shaping tourists' cognitive and affective perceptions. Among these variables, message clarity and narrative appeal proved more dominant in strengthening audiences' rational understanding of the destination, while language style and cultural appropriateness played a more significant role in building emotional closeness and trust in local values. These findings confirm that an effective digital promotion strategy relies not only on delivering factual information but also on packaging the message in a way that aligns with the cultural characteristics and linguistic preferences of the target audience. Theoretically, this research expands the study of tourism marketing communications by emphasizing the importance of linguistic and cultural dimensions in influencing destination image formation. Practically, the research findings provide strategic implications for tourism stakeholders in designing more persuasive digital promotional content, oriented toward local values, and supporting the sustainability of culture-based tourism. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution in bridging communication theory, destination branding strategies, and digital marketing practices rooted in local cultural wisdom
