On Therapeutic relationship of psychoanalysis and “epistemophilic instinct”
Get PDF本稿で私は、「真実を知りたいという本能epistemophilic instinct」（Klein, M. 1926）が精神分析的な治療関係を特徴付けることを、臨床症例を用いて主張した。人が「真実を知りたいという本能」を持つと想定した治療関係は、心を深く理解し、無意識を知ろうと試みる。これは、現代医療における共同意思決定モデルやラポール、すなわち「クライエントの権利」や「人としてのあたたかさ」を重視する姿勢とは明確に区別される。また、「真実を知りたいという本能」は、欲求不満や不安に耐えながらも、主体的に問いを続けるという点で、大学・大学院教育における学生のアカデミズムのテーマと近接しているとも主張した。In this article, I argue, using clinical cases, that "epistemophilic instinct" （Klein, M. 1926） characterizes psychoanalytic therapeutic relationships. The therapeutic relationship assuming that an individual has "epistemophilic instinct" tries to understand the mind deeply and know the unconscious. This is clearly distinguished from shared decision-making models and the rapport in modern healthcare, "a respect for the rights of the clients" and "an emphasis on personal warmth." I also considered that "epistemophilic instinct" was close to the theme of student academism in university and graduate school education in that they continue to ask questions independently while enduring frustration and anxiety.departmental bulletin pape
Narrative Sensibility in Kazuo Ishiguro’s "A Family Supper"
Get PDF"A Family Supper" は、日本の70年代を背景にある家族の関係の危機を描くカズオ・イシグロの最初期の短編小説である。本論は、作品のテーマや形態的特徴を詳細に検討し、この作家の家族関係の危機の要因に関する洞察と、読者をさらに丁寧な読みに誘うその仕掛けについて明らかにする。その結果、この作品には、多様な文化の時代においてつながりの倫理探求に挑戦し続ける作家の優れた語りのセンシビリティが窺われることを論じる。"A Family Supper" is Kazuo Ishiguro’s earliest short story describing a Japanese family in crisis in the period of the 1970s. This short thesis examines the author’s formalistic and thematical treatments of the issue in detail and proves the author’s insights about the factors of the family fissures and his elaborate devices to involve the reader in closer reading. As a result, the thesis argues that Ishiguro shows an excellent narrative sensibility in the story as a writer who challenges the ethics of connectedness in the age of diversity.departmental bulletin pape
