Essential Function of Motherhood : Gender‒free Parenting with Parent‒Child Interaction Therapy
Get PDF本稿は2019年女性学インスティチュート連続セミナー「母なるものの役割」 において筆者が担当した「現代家族の中の母」をもとに加筆修正したものである。まず、現代の子どもと母親の置かれた状況について理解するために、幼稚園教諭から見た子どもの問題行動の実態調査の結果や、親子相互交流療法 （Parent‒Child Interaction Therapy：以下PCIT）に来談する母親が直面する子どもの問題行動への対処の困難感を紹介した。次に、筆者は「母なるもの」すなわち「母性性」について、養育者と子どもの心理的相互作用メカニズムに関する近年の脳科学の知見を援用し「母なるものの本質的機能」を再考し、さらに今井（2009）の研究をもとに父性と母性が、与える親の性別に限定されないことを指摘した。最後に、筆者が2013年から実施しているPCITについて解説し、子どもの共感性や自己制御能力を育成するために親がとるべき役割、行動について、母性・父性、ジェンダーの視点から考察を試みた。結論として、PCITは前半の子どもを受容する母性的機能、後半の子どもへの統制を行う父性的機能が構造化されているが、PCITは養育者の性別を問わないため、PCITを用いることで養育者のジェンダーにかかわらず母性性、父性性双方のバランスがとれた子育てが可能になることを示した。This article is a modified version of my lecture "Mothers in the Modern Family," which was the last lecture of the Women’s Institute 2019 Series Seminar titled "Roles of Motherhood." First, to understand the current situation of parents and children, I showed the results of my questionnaire to kindergarten teachers, and indicated the mothers’ feeling of difficulty incoping with their children’s behavior problems in Parent‒Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) cases. Second, I re‒considered the essential functions of Motherhood, using new brain science knowledge on the psychological mechanism of the interaction between mother and child. Furthermore, I pointed out, based on Imai’s research (2009), that Fatherhood and Motherhood are not constrained to the gender of the parent who gives it. Finally, I explained PCIT,which I have been practicing since 2013, and considered the role that parents should play in fostering children’s empathy and self‒regulation ability through PCIT skills and structure from viewpoints of Motherhood, Fatherhood, and parental gender. In conclusion, I emphasized that because PCIT, which has a structured maternal function of accepting children in the first half and a paternal function of controlling children in the second half, does not care about the gender of the caregiver, it enables child care that balances both Motherhood and Fatherhood regardless of the gender of parents.departmental bulletin pape
Insect Fauna in Okadayama Campus, Kobe College (I) Lepidoptera and Odonata
Get PDF神戸女学院のある岡田山キャンパスは、多くの生物にとって貴重な生息場所となっているが、昆虫類の生物多様性については十分に評価されていなかった。岡田山の節足動物相を明らかにするために、1996年以来キャンパス内で昆虫を採集してきた。その結果、2019年までの24年間に、チョウ類5科39種、ガ類28科240種、トンボ目7科23種、合計302種が記録された。従来から岡田山キャンパスにおいて知られていた38種を差し引くと、新たに264種が追加された。近隣自治体のレッドリスト記載種として、チョウ類2種、ガ類5種、トンボ目5種が確認された。ガ類では周辺の低山地で未確認の種が記録され、平地の都市部に残された森林や植栽の多い庭園が特有の生息地としての重要性をもっていると考えられた。トンボ目ではキャンパス外から飛来した成虫が森林を採餌場所として利用していることが示唆された。一方、チョウ類の採集年次データの分析は、採集記録の少ない種の採集頻度が近年有意に減少しており、それらの個体数が減少している可能性があった。これらのことは、岡田山が昆虫の生息地として重要であり、森林環境と庭園環境の両方を含めてキャンパスを保全する努力が必要であることを示している。Insect biodiversity was insufficiently studied in the Okadayama campus of Kobe College, of which seminatural forest fragments are considered to provide important habitat islands for various organisms in the urban area of Nishinomiya city. We have collected insects since 1996 in order to clarify arthropod fauna in the Okadayama campus. A total of 302 species of Lepidoptera and Odonata insects (39 species butterflies, 240 species moths and 23 species dragonflies and damselflies) were recorded from the campus for 24 years until 2019. As 38 species of them had been already recorded in a previous survey conducted in 1970s, 264 species were newly added to the faunal list. Two species of butterflies, 5 species of moths and 5 species of dragonflies were red list species of neighboring regions. Comparison of moth fauna between the Okadayama campus and nearby large protected area revealed that moth species only collected in the campus included some species depending on fagaceae trees and using ornamental plants in garden area. Many dragonfly species were probably visitors from adjacent area to utilize forest habitats as foraging sites in adult stage. These results suggest that the campus offers important habitats for many insect species in the urban area. However, an analysis of yearly collection data of butterflies in dicates that species with scanty records recently became less abundant than those of numerous records. This implies that we need further efforts to conserve both natural and artificial environments of the Okadayama campus.departmental bulletin pape
Metaphors between Exile and Impurity in the Hebrew Bible
Get PDF捕囚後の第二神殿時代における「異邦人の穢れ」概念の形成は、古代イスラエルのアイデンティ ティの確立と深く関連していたことが考えられる。本稿では、古代イスラエルにおける「穢れ」概念の変遷を跡付け、捕囚後のユダヤ教において「穢れ」概念が民族の境界付けのために用いられたことと、捕囚の出来事との関係を、メタファーの性質に着目しつつ明らかにすることを試みる。捕囚の文脈において、イスラエルの道徳的穢れが、聖所から一時的に遠ざけられる儀礼的穢れの状態にある女性のメタファーによって表現され、更にこの「穢れ」概念が、捕囚後のイスラエルの民族的共同体において、穢れから自らを遠ざけ「聖なる民」となることへの動機付けとして作用した経緯を考察する。 この「穢れ」概念は、「聖なる種族」としての民族の境界付けの方向性と共に、やがて「異邦人の穢れ」 概念の形成につながっていったことが考えられる。It could be assumed that the notion of the impurities of the Gentiles, conceived during the second temple period after the exile, had relevance to the establishment of ancient Israel’s identity. This study pursues the transition of the concept of impurity in ancient Israel and clarifies the connection between the situation where the concept of impurity was used to draw an ethnic border and the occurrence of the exile from the perspective of metaphor. It reveals that in the exilic context, Israel’s moral impurity was depicted by the metaphor of a woman of ritual impurity who had to be kept at a distance from the sancta in the meantime, and that the impurity served as motivation for Israel’s ethnic community to become holy people after the exile, consecrating themselves away from impurity. This concept of impurity is thought to have created an ethnic border, leading to the formation of Israel as a holy seed, and the origin of the impurities of the Gentiles.departmental bulletin pape
Commemorations of Ekin in Kochi Prefecture
Get PDF高知県では大きな芝居絵屏風を飾る夏祭りが行われ、土佐の夏の風物詩として地域の人びとに親しまれている。芝居絵屏風は大きな二曲一隻の屏風であり、幕末の絵師・金藏（1812-1876）、通称、絵金が芝居絵屏風を描き始めた。日本の近代化の過程で娯楽の多様化にともない、夏祭りで芝居絵屏風を飾ることは少なくなったが、1960年代の時代背景の下で再び注目されるようになった。それから間もなく、高知県赤岡町では、1977年に絵金没後100年を記念するコメモレイションとして絵金祭りが行われた。赤岡町では1993年に土佐絵金歌舞伎伝承会が結成され、さらに、2005年には絵金の作品を展示する絵金蔵も造られた。高知県立美術館では、2012年に、絵金生誕200年を記念するコメモレイション「大絵金展 極彩の闇」が開催された。本稿では、集合的記憶の社会学の視点から、絵金のコメモレイションに関する多様な資料を分析し論述してみる。Some locales of the Kochi Prefecture hold summer festivals to display Shibai-e screens; a Tosa summer tradition. Shibai-e screens are large two-panel folding screens painted by the artist Kinzo (1812-1876), populary known as Ekin in the last days of the Tokugawa shogunate. During Japan’s modernization process, the diversification of popular amusements resulted in a decline in the number of summer festivals that exhibited Shibai-e screens. However, due to the historical context of Japan in the 1960s, Ekin and his works returned to the public limelight. Shortly afterward, in 1977,
the Ekin festival was organized in Akaoka, town in Kochi Prefecture, to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Ekin’s death. In 1993, the Tosa Ekin-Kabuki Denshokai Association was formed by the locals interested in the preservation of Shibai-e screens. In addition, in 2005, the “Ekingura” (Ekin Memorial) was constructed in Akaoka to exhibit Ekin’s works. In 2012,
the Museum of Art, Kochi, proudly presented “Ekin: The Variegated Darkness ” to commemorate the bicentennial of Ekin’s birth. This paper analyzes and discusses various materials on the Ekin’s commemorations from the perspective of sociology of collective memory.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF2019年は、ロシアの化学者であるメンデレーエフが周期表を発表して150年となる記念すべき年であり、UNESCOにより、国際周期表年2019(IYPT2019)と制定された。本稿では、まず、IYPT2019に対する日本と英国の取り組みの事例を紹介した。続いて、中川担当の「化学概論」の授業で扱った周期律と周期表の授業内容の項目（メンデレーエフが発表した元素の周期律と周期表の紹介、現在の周期表との差異、未知元素の性質の予測、周期律の見直しとモーズリーの法則、原子の電子配置と現在の周期表など）に触れた。さらに、神戸女学院大学図書館の協力を得て、図書館新館にて、メンデレーエフや周期律関係の著書を展示した特集コーナー「メンデレーエフと周期律発表150周年」を開設した経緯を述べた。展示された書籍は、「化学概論」の履修者の多くが、周期律の学習やレポート作成の参考資料として活用した。このように、「メンデレーエフと周期律発表150周年」の開設は、IYPT2019の祝賀に加え、授業における図書館資料の活用という視点からも、有意義であった。departmental bulletin pape
