On Corpus-based Approach to Chinese Language Education: A Case Study of Degree Adverb “Feichang”
本論文では、中国語の程度副詞“非常”を例にして、コーパスを活用した中国語教育を提案した。具体的には、まず、日本語教育の分野では、近年、コーパスを用いたコロケーション研究が盛んに行われており、その成果が教育現場に活用されていることを確認した。次に、中国語の初級教科書・文法解説書で“非常”がどのように取り上げられているのかを調査し、中国語の母語話者コーパスを用いて、中国語の“非常”が結びつく表現を分析した。さらに、日本語の母語話者コーパスを用いて、日本語の「非常に」が結びつく表現を分析し、中日対照研究を行った。以上の分析を通して、コーパスを活用した中国語教育の一端を示した。In this paper, we propose a corpus-based approach to Chinese language education, using the Chinese adverb of degree “Feichang” as an example. First, we confirmed that corpus-based collocation research has been widely conducted in the field of Japanese language education in recent years, and that the results of this research have been applied in the field of education. Next, we investigated how “Feichang” is used and explained in elementary Chinese textbooks and grammar books. In addition, we analyzed the expressions that are linked with the word “Feichang” using a corpus of native Chinese speakers. Finally, we used a corpus of native Japanese speakers to analyze expressions linked with the Japanese word “Hijoni”, and conducted a comparative study between Chinese and Japanese.departmental bulletin pape
立教大学メサイア演奏史と指揮者の金子登
本稿の目的は、立教大学メサイア演奏会の演奏史と、その初代指揮者であった金子登の演奏観を明らかにすることである。立教学院史資料センター所蔵の演奏会プログラムと関連資料を用いて、1)立教メサイアの概要、2)演奏曲目、3)指揮者、4)使用楽譜、5)運営組織についてまとめた上で、6)金子登の演奏観を検討した。その結果、立教メサイアは、学生によるクリスマス祝会の試みから生まれ、1962年の第1回から学生による実行委員会で担われて、その貢献に敬意が払われてきたこと、開始に際しては辻壮一らによって明確な方針「トップクラスの指揮者と独唱者を招いて、立教生の合唱と管弦楽とで上演」が示され、それに則して実践されてきたこと、指揮者と独唱者は東京芸術大学関係者を招き、多くの学生を出演させるためにプラウト版を使用し、省略曲もプラウト版に従ってきたこと、コロナ禍による開催中止(2020)後、再開されたものの復活の途上であること等が読み取られた。開始から25年間、金子登は困難な立教メサイアを忍耐強く育て、「ある意味の伝道を意味」するものとして、ついには「終生の仕事」と思い定めて死の間際まで取り組んだことが判明した。The purpose of this paper is to clarify the performance history of the Rikkyo University Messiah Concerts and the performance philosophy of its first conductor, KANEKO Nobori. Investigation of the concert programs and related materials held at the Rikkyo Gakuin Historical Materials Center was made according to the following: 1) the prehistory and beginnings of the series, 2) the pieces performed, 3) the conductors, 4) the editions of scores used, 5) the management organization, and 6) Kaneko’s performance philosophy.
As a result, the following facts have become established: 1) Rikkyo Messiah was born from years’ attempt by a students committee to hold Christmas celebrations, and that since the first Rikkyo Messiah in 1962 it has been run by the student executive committee, whose contribution has been clearly respected; 2) at the start, TSUJI Shoichi and others set and enforced a clear policy of inviting a top-class conductor and soloists, and performing with choruses and orchestra of Rikkyo students; 3) the conductors and soloists were invited from Tokyo University of the Arts; 4) the Prout version was used to allow for a large number of students to perform, and also the numbers omitted from the whole work followed the Prout version; 5) after the cancelation due to the COVID-19 pandemic (2020), it was resumed, but is still in the process of being revived.
It is noteworthy that KANEKO Nobori enthusiastically pursued the tough work of leading Rikkyo Messiah for the twenty-five years since its beginning, and that he eventually came to see it as his “lifelong work,” as something that “meant evangelism in a sense,” working on it until shortly before his death.departmental bulletin pape
『続詞花和歌集』の歌合歌
『続詞花和歌集』(以下、『続詞花集』とする)の歌合歌について論じる本稿は、「『和歌一字抄』の歌合歌」(安井重雄編『歌合の本質と展開』法蔵館 2024年)の続編である。藤原清輔は、『和歌一字抄』『続詞花集』『袋草紙』等、多数の和歌に関する書を著述した。本稿では二条天皇への奏覧を目指した撰集である『続詞花集』(永万元年(1165)成立)をとりあげる。特 に歌合資料を一次資料としたと考えられる歌に着目し、『続詞花集』編纂、集内配列という点から、『 和歌一字抄』『袋草紙』との比較を交え、編纂手法やもとになった和歌資料について考察した。『袋草紙』言説を重ね合わせることで、撰者清輔が編纂に際してとった方法や意図が明らかになる場合がある。撰集作業、個々の採歌は、歌合における勝負や歌病等に言及する判詞に対する清輔なりの判断を表す機会ともなっていた。歌合歌を集成して通覧することで、歌合本文との歌句の異同は『続詞花集』編纂時の改変と考え得る可能性があること、また歌合における代作歌は実作者名で採る傾向があるこ
と等、清輔の撰集方法が確認された。This paper, which discusses the uta-awase poems included in Syokushikawakashū (hereafter referred to as
Syokushikashū), is a sequel to “The uta-awase Poems included in Wakaichijishō (edited by Shigeo Yasui, The
Essence and Development of Uta-awase, Hōzōkan, 2024).”
Fujiwara Kiyosuke authored numerous works related to waka poetry, for example Wakaichijishō,Shokushikashū, and Fukurozōshi. This paper will focus on Shokushikashū (compiled in 1165), a collection compiled with the aim of being presented to Emperor Nijō. Focusing particularly on poems that are thought to be based on uta-awase materials as primary sources, this paper examines the compilation methods and the waka sources used, from theperspective of the compilation and internal arrangement of Shokushikashū, while also comparing it withWakaichijishō and Fukurozōshi.
The process of compiling the collection and selecting individual poems also served as an opportunity for
Kiyosuke to express his own judgments regarding the critiques on uta-awase matches, such as the outcomes and the identification of poem-related flaws. By compiling and reviewing the uta-awase poems, it becomes possible to consider that the differences in phrasing between the original uta-awase texts and the poems in ShokuShikashūmay be due to revisions made during the compilation. Additionally, it was confirmed that Kiyosuke tended tocredit the actual authors of substituted poems in uta-awase competitions.departmental bulletin pape
Faith, Politics, and the Environment: An Analysis of Religious Voter Guides and Presidential Debate Discourse on Climate Change in the 2020 U.S. Election
近年、気候変動を巡る議論はアメリカの世論を二分している。気候変動に対する考え方の二分化が解決困難なのは、政党間の違いだけでなく、政党と共通する宗教的価値観が絡んでいるからである。この現象は、パリ協定への参加を巡る議論が激化した2020年の大統領選挙で特に顕著であった。この現状を踏まえ、本稿は2020年のアメリカ大統領選挙における気候変動を巡る言説に注目し、主に次の2つの疑問点を探るものである。2020年の大統領選挙において、民主党のバイデン候補と共和党のトランプ候補との間で、気候変動に対する考え方の違いはどの程度顕著だったのか。さらに、気候変動に懐疑的なキリスト教保守派は、どのようにその意思を表明し、広めようとしたのか。これらの疑問に対する答えを探るため、本稿ではまず、2020年大統領選挙におけるディベートを分析し、各党の大統領候補が気候変動に関する話題にどのように言及しているかを明らかにする。次に、有権者ガイドを発行しているキリスト教保守派団体に焦点を当て、彼らが気候変動に関する大統領候補者の立場をどのように有権者ガイドに取り入れているかを明らかにする。In recent years, the debate over climate change has divided American public opinion. While not as heated a debate as topics surrounding gender and life, such as abortion and same-sex marriage, environmental policies related to climate change and other issues have divided the United States along political party lines. Such a divide became clearer when former Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore emerged as a champion of climate change with his 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth. What makes the dichotomy in attitudes toward the issue of climate change so difficult to resolve is not only the differences between political parties but also the religious values involved, which share lines with the political parties. Given this current situation, this paper focuses on the discourse surrounding climate change in the 2020 United States presidential election. It explores two main questions: How noticeable was the difference in attitudes toward climate change between the Democratic nominee, Joe Biden, and the Republican nominee, Donald Trump, in the 2020 presidential election? Moreover, how did Christian conservatives skeptical of climate change make their intentions known and attempt to spread them? To seek answers to these questions, this paper will first analyze debates in the 2020 presidential election to determine how each party’s presidential candidates refer to topics related to climate change. Then, it will focus on Christian conservative groups that have published voter guides to determine how they incorporate the presidential candidates’ positions on climate change into their voter guides. By focusing on the discourse surrounding climate change in the 2020 presidential election, I aim to provide some points of interest, such as what topics will be on the agenda in the 2024 presidential debate and whether environmental issues will be discussed again or not.departmental bulletin pape
