    No full text
The Constitutional Court (MK) plays an important role in the Indonesian constitutional system as an institution that upholds the supremacy of the constitution and maintains the balance of power among state institutions, particularly in testing legislative and executive legal products to ensure they align with the 1945 Constitution. The purpose of this research is to analyze the position and binding power of MK decisions on legislative and executive legal products, as well as to examine the implications for the formation and implementation of national law. The research problem is focused on how the legal position of MK decisions affects legislative and executive legal products and to what extent these decisions influence the practice of the Indonesian constitutional system. This research uses a normative legal method with legislative, conceptual, and case approaches, and data collection is conducted through literature studies of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The research findings indicate that MK decisions are final and binding, have general applicability (erga omnes), and serve as constitutional guidelines in the formation of laws and government policies. In conclusion, the effective implementation of MK decisions is a measure of the success of the Indonesian rule of law in upholding the principles of constitutionalism, legal certainty, and equitable democracy

    No full text
This research explores the legal obstacles encountered by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jambi City, focusing on issues of legal protection and the effectiveness of regulatory implementation. Adopting a socio-legal methodology within a qualitative framework, the study gathered data through literature analysis, in-depth interviews, and direct field observations involving MSME practitioners. The results indicate that most MSMEs face considerable difficulties concerning business formalization, brand registration, licensing procedures, and insufficient awareness of their legal entitlements. Although several laws, including Law No. 20 of 2008 on MSMEs and the Job Creation Law, provide a legal foundation, their enforcement at the municipal level remains limited. The originality of this study lies in its empirical assessment at the local level, highlighting the discrepancy between normative legal provisions and real-world practices. The findings suggest that adaptive reforms, simplified administrative licensing systems, and accessible legal aid services are pivotal to enhancing MSME resilience and competitiveness. From a theoretical standpoint, the study enriches the discourse on MSME legal governance, while in practical terms, it offers strategic policy insights for local authorities to improve legal certainty, access to justice, and sustainable business development

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the readiness for second careers among members of the Juang Kencana Community in Jambi Province, BKKBN. Using a mixed-methods approach with concurrent design, quantitative data were collected from 31 retirees through questionnaires, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants. The findings reveal that overall second career readiness falls into the high category, with 58.06% of participants demonstrating strong self-efficacy, positive expectations, and clear career goals. Self-efficacy emerged as the strongest aspect (70.97% high), followed by outcome expectations (61.29% high), while goals were relatively weaker (54.84% high). Qualitative findings support this by showing that retirees who remain engaged in entrepreneurial or organizational activities report feeling healthier, more motivated, and socially supported. However, challenges such as declining business income, limited participation by community leaders, and irregular implementation of activities persist. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of quantitative indicators and qualitative insights, highlighting the importance of family support, community involvement, and organizational platforms in strengthening second career readiness. The implications suggest that policymakers and community organizations should design programs that not only provide economic opportunities but also foster mental resilience and social engagement for retirees, ensuring their continued contribution to society

    No full text
This study aims to explore the global development of research on the theme of disenfranchisement in elections, focusing on the Scopus database from 2020 to 2025. Disenfranchisement, defined as the loss or limitation of voting rights, is a critical issue in democratic studies, affecting the legitimacy and inclusivity of electoral systems. The research employs a scoping review methodology combined with bibliometric analysis using R and Biblioshiny, guided by PRISMA protocols. A total of 60 articles were selected based on specific inclusion criteria, including publication year, subject area, language, and document type. The bibliometric analysis is structured into three main components: author analysis, document analysis, and conceptual structure mapping. Results show that the United States dominates scientific production on this topic, while countries from the Global South, such as Nigeria, are emerging contributors. Key findings include the identification of influential authors, thematic trends over time, and keyword co-occurrence networks. The study reveals a multidimensional research landscape, where disenfranchisement is examined not only through political lenses but also legal, sociological, and behavioral perspectives. The novelty of this research lies in its comprehensive bibliometric mapping of disenfranchisement studies at a global scale, which has been underexplored in previous literature. The implications are significant for future research and policy development, as the findings highlight gaps in representation and collaboration across regions. This study contributes to the advancement of social science by offering strategic insights into the dynamics of electoral exclusion and promoting inclusive democratic practices through evidence-based scholarship

The development of the digital economy encourages Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt through the application of technology to survive and compete. In this context, digital transformation is a strategic step that can strengthen competitiveness, particularly through the use of e-commerce, product diversification, and relationship marketing. This study aims to analyze how these three strategies contribute to increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, using a sample of 114 MSMEs from various sectors as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews, then analyzed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the practices and impacts of digital transformation. The results show that e-commerce can expand the market reach of MSME products. Diversifikasi Produk has been shown to help MSMEs adapt to changing consumer tastes and expand market segments. Similarly, relationship marketing can increase customer loyalty through more personalized and sustainable interactions. The integration of these three strategies creates a strategic synergy that significantly contributes to increasing the competitive advantage of MSMEs. This research provides a theoretical contribution by offering a conceptual model of digital transformation that is oriented towards competitiveness, while also providing practical implications for MSMEs and policy makers to encourage MSMEs to undertake more effective and sustainable digital transformation
