Multidimensional intelligence on teacher performance in elementary schools
This research explored the influence of multidimensional intelligence, including emotional, social, spiritual, and academic intelligence, on the performance of elementary school teachers in Indonesia. Five hundred teachers from various regions were selected as samples using stratified random sampling techniques. The survey method was used to collect data, and multiple linear regression analysis was applied to determine the influence of each intelligence dimension on teacher performance. The results indicated that all dimensions of intelligence positively impacted teacher performance, with academic intelligence having the most dominant effect (coefficient 0.295), followed by social intelligence (0.182), emotional intelligence (0.170), and spiritual intelligence (0.086). These findings indicate the importance of a holistic approach to improving teacher performance, focusing on strengthening academic and social intelligence. The research also recommends that teacher development policies pay more attention to multidimensional intelligence in training programs. Future research should expand the scope by considering factors such as work environment and intrinsic motivation that may affect teacher performance
The pedagogical competence of teachers in enhancing student creativity based on information technology
This research aimed to understand how teachers' teaching skills can help students improve their creativity by utilizing information technology at one elementary school. The method applied was qualitative, with a case study approach that emphasized teachers in the classroom as the primary focus. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. This research indicates that teachers with practical teaching skills can utilize various digital applications and media in the classroom to encourage students' creativity. Students' creativity increases, as seen by their ability to express ideas, create digital works, and complete school assignments differently. These findings prove that using information technology in learning by pedagogically skilled teachers positively influences the development of students' creativity. This research recommends that teachers improve their pedagogical skills, especially in technological literacy, to improve the quality of the learning process and students' creativity
From cosmos to canvas: Interpreting arts education through the poetics methods of Ahmad Sadali’s Islamic art
This study interpreted Ahmad Sadali’s Islamic art poetics as a conceptual and pedagogical framework for spiritually grounded art education. Drawing on Sadali’s writings and artworks, the study employed a narrative literature review with hermeneutic analysis to explore how his creative process, rooted in tawhid (Islamic monotheism), contemplation, and inner spirituality, can inform contemporary Islamic art pedagogy. Sadali views artistic creation as visual dhikr (remembrance of God), emphasizing the intrinsic-internal environment as the source of creativity. His approach bridges aesthetics and spirituality, positioning art as a worship medium and moral reflection. The study found that integrating Sadali’s poetics into arts education promotes character formation, spiritual awareness, and ethical sensitivity, offering a transformative learning model. It concludes that Sadali’s thought provides theoretical and methodological contributions to value-based Islamic art education, aligning artistic practice with deeper metaphysical and cosmological understanding.
Enhancing Employee Engagement through Strategic Human Resource Management in Economics and Management Education
This study explores how SHRM enhances employee engagement in higher education, particularly within economics and management education. Using a qualitative library research design and thematic content analysis, the study reviewed scholarly sources published between 2014 and 2024. Literature selection followed explicit inclusion–exclusion criteria, incorporating academic works addressing SHRM, employee engagement, leadership, organizational culture, or HRM in higher education, while excluding non-scholarly publications and studies lacking methodological clarity. The findings show that SHRM strengthens engagement when aligned with institutional strategy, supported by transformational leadership, and embedded within a participatory organizational culture. Four clusters of HR practices competency-based planning, continuous professional development, performance-based rewards, and participatory performance management emerge as key drivers of engagement through their effects on motivation and organizational commitment. Based on these insights, the study proposes a conceptual model explaining how SHRM enhances cognitive, emotional, and behavioral engagement, ultimately improving teaching performance, research productivity, and institutional competitiveness. The results contribute to the limited academic literature on SHRM in higher education and offer practical guidance for universities seeking to build integrated HR strategies. Future empirical research is recommended to validate the proposed model across diverse academic contexts
PROPORTIONAL REASONING: INSIGHTS FROM STUDENTS’ EARLY ATTEMPTS AT QUANTIFYING IN SOLVING MATHEMATICAL LITERACY PROBLEMS
This research aims to explore students’ proportional reasoning at the early attempts at quantifying stage when students face proportional situations, especially mathematical literacy problems. This research uses a qualitative research approach involving grade 9 junior high school. Data was collected by providing mathematical literacy problems containing proportional situations and in-depth interviews with research subjects. The research results show that students in the early attempts at quantifying stage begin to identify important variables, recognize regularities, and develop plans to solve problems. Students apply inappropriate addition relationships in proportional situations, add or subtract numbers without understanding the concept of comparison, and have a sense of comparing sizes that are bigger and smaller, but students have limitations in understanding the concept of proportionality, especially in recognizing when comparison should be used, students try to identify comparative patterns, students have difficulty connecting patterns to multiplicative forms; able to conclude, but the conclusions are wrong due to limitations in understanding the concept of proportionality which results in inaccurate results. This study provides a novel contribution by specifically focusing on the “early attempts at quantifying” stage, a crucial yet underexamined phase in proportional reasoning development. The findings fill a gap in understanding how students transition from additive to multiplicative reasoning when faced with real-world mathematical problems. The implication is that assistance is needed in the form of exercises that increase students' understanding and sensitivity to multiplicative situations and relationships between variables in solving mathematical literacy problems
MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION OF STUDENTS WITH LOW PERFORMANCE IN MATHEMATICS: GENDER PERSPECTIVE
This study aims to describe mathematical communication between male and female students with low mathematical performance and to identify ways to support their mathematical communication skills. Students with mathematical abilities often struggle to express mathematical ideas clearly, making it important to explore their communication patterns and develop effective teaching strategies. A male and a female student from the twelfth grade of high school, were chosen as participants due to their low performance in mathematics. The selection of these subjects was based on the method of pairing data created by Milles. Data collection involved administering tests and using a semi-structured interview approach, which were then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this research indicated that there are differences in mathematical communication exhibited by male and female students. Both participants expressed mathematical concepts by identifying key points obtained from the test. They correctly used mathematical notation and adequately represented their ideas through graphical means. The male student showed a stronger grasp by connecting various concepts. However, there were instances when they struggled to articulate their thoughts accurately in writing. The results of this study provide insights for teachers in designing teaching strategies that improve low-achieving students' mathematical communication skills, both oral and written communication. This is expected to support students in expressing mathematical ideas effectively
COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION AND SOCIAL RECONSTRUCTION POST NATURAL DISASTERS BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM IN SIGI DISTRICT CENTRAL SULAWESI PROVINCE
This study investigates two key objectives: (1) the role of community participation and social reconstruction following the earthquake and liquefaction disaster in Sigi Regency and (2) the strategic utilization of local wisdom as a foundational element for long-term recovery and resilience. Employing a qualitative research design, the study collected both primary and secondary data through observations, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and documentation, supported by the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach to ensure community engagement and contextual depth. Findings reveal that post-disaster community participation was notably high, with active involvement in reconstruction efforts, leading to widespread support for rehabilitation programs initiated by both governmental and traditional institutions. Furthermore, the revival and application of the molibu tradition, a local wisdom-based reconciliation and decision-making practice, emerged as a powerful cultural mechanism that significantly enhanced social reconstruction. The study found that, before incorporating this tradition, there was limited participation from key community actors, particularly traditional leaders. This research presents a culturally grounded model of disaster recovery, emphasizing the integration of Indigenous knowledge systems, such as Molibu, into formal post-disaster management strategies. It contributes to both academic discourse and practical policy by producing a Sinta-indexed journal article, a localized disaster management textbook, and recommendations for regional policymaking. The study also advocates for the institutionalization of local wisdom at the village level, ensuring its transmission across generations and its sustainability as a tool for resilience in disaster-prone communities
ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT OF PROSPECTS FOR MONITORING TELEVISION NEWS AND THE BLOGOSPHERE AS A TYPE OF BUSINESS ACTIVITY
The primary goal of this study is to conduct a comprehensive economic evaluation of the prospects for monitoring television news and the blogosphere as entrepreneurial activities in Ukraine. Additionally, the study aims to assess the quality of media content and its social impact, focusing on the evolving role of television news and the blogosphere in influencing public opinion and consumer behavior. To achieve this, the study utilizes a combination of analytical methods, including comparative analysis, formalization, and synthesis, along with the development of a monitoring matrix to evaluate the content quality of both media channels. The results of the study indicate that both television news and the blogosphere have evolved beyond their traditional roles as sources of information and entertainment. These platforms now serve as powerful tools for marketing and social influence, with the blogosphere playing an increasingly significant role in consumer engagement and political discourse. The study also highlights the growing demand for monitoring services within this sphere, with implications for businesses and government agencies alike. In conclusion, the authors identify that monitoring television news and the blogosphere not only provides valuable insights into the social and economic impact of these media but also presents a promising avenue for entrepreneurial activity. The findings suggest that the development of a systematic monitoring algorithm could enhance the quality of information and improve user engagement across both platforms
REDUCTION OF STUDENT MISCONCEPTIONS USING NEARPOD INTERACTIVE LEARNING PLATFORM BASED ON POSNER'S CONCEPTUAL CHANGE THEORY
Misconceptions experienced by students must be identified, reduced, and remediated so that they do not become obstacles for students in their learning process. This study aims to reduce students' misconceptions about static fluids using interactive media developed using the Nearpod Platform based on Posner's conceptual change theory. The research design used was a one-group pre-test post-test design study, by conducting a pre-test, providing actions or treatments, and post-tests to 31 sample high school students. The test instruments and interactive media were first developed with a fairly strict validation process regarding content, construct, and face. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to measure the effectiveness of the learning platform in reducing misconceptions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Nearpod interactive learning platform based on Posner's conceptual change theory can significantly reduce students' misconceptions of the material of hydrostatic pressure and Archimedes' law, with a decrease in the percentage of misconceptions from an average of 34.83% in the pretest to 18.06% in the posttest. Therefore, the Conceptual Change Text strategy through Nearpod media has effectively reduced misconceptions
STUDY OF 3D PRINTING HIPS BREAST PHANTOM MATERIAL: EFFECT OF EXPOSURE VOLTAGE VARIATION AND NODULE SIZE
A study has examined the characteristics of 3D printer materials of HIPS and PLA. The study began by printing HIPS materials that resembled breast organs and PLA materials that resembled breast cancer nodules. Then it exposed them using a CT scan with voltage variations of 80 kV, 100 kV, and 120 kV. The parameters studied were compared with the reference breast organ. The results obtained at these voltages obtained CT-number values sequentially (-85.14+0.25) ; (-64.79+0.21) HU; (-55.08+0.18) HU values from the reference 35 to -94 HU, relative electron density values sequentially 0.915; 0.935; 0.945 with a reference value of 0.950, the density value of the material obtained is (0.921+0.002) g/, The EDG value is 3.24 x from ICRU 1989 was 3.33 x, The EDV value is (3.00 + 0.01) x from ICRU report 44 was 3.18 x 10, the value is 3.50 the value of ICRU data is 3.28, and the effective dose values are respectively 2.53 mSv, 2.83 mSv, 3.20 mSv. Based on these characteristics, the results indicate that the breast phantom matches the characteristics of the breast organ, allowing it to be used to predict the presence of breast cancer, as it shares the same characteristics. The results of exposure to the lung cancer nodule phantom on the CT-Scan image of the 2 mm nodule size are not visible. The results of this study can be used as a consideration for radiologists when choosing a voltage based on the predicted size of the breast cancer nodule
