The decline in creativity indicators, as evidenced in education reports, indicates the necessity of improved instructional management of project-based learning (PjBL) to foster student creativity. This study used an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design. Quantitative data were collected from 108 students (total sampling) using a creativity questionnaire, followed by a qualitative case study through classroom observations and documentation and through interviews involving 12 informants. Quantitative findings reveal that student creativity falls into the moderate category (mean: 87.90), with Originality (19.04%) being the lowest indicator, whereas Flexibility (20.56%) was the highest. Qualitative evidence illustrates the contribution of instructional management practices to creativity indicators through four distinct stages. Planning is executed in a structured, goal-based manner, while Organizing establishes collaborative learning environments. Subsequently, Implementation drives project implementation that encourages discovery and reflection, and continuous Monitoring through authentic assessment that can strengthen student engagement to develop flexibility, elaboration, and problem-solving competencies. However, the originality component requires further improvement through enhanced teacher facilitation. Recommendations emphasize improving teacher competency in project design and authentic assessment to support the development of sustainable student creativity.

Teaching slow-moving learners the abstract science concepts such as Elements, Compounds, and Mixtures can be difficult as they need concrete instructions and less cognitive load. The learning materials available cannot be expected to have the particular accessibility elements that can bridge this cognitive divide. The current study attempts this integration for the first time, combining Universal Design for Learning and a STEM-SDGs approach specifically to support slow learners. The study aimed to create a valid, usable, beneficial-inclusive module for Phase D (Grade VIII) students using the R & D approach (ADDIE model). The study incorporated six expert validators, a practicality trial to slow learners (N=10) and a quasi-experimental field study with 73 learners (Experimental N=34 vs Control N=39). The module had a rating of V-Aiken of 0.87 (Very Valid) and 92.1% was rated as Very Practical. Effectiveness testing showed that the module had a significant positive differentiating factor as the experimental group had evidence of a “High” N-Gain (0.78) as opposed to the Medium (0.40) of the control group. The findings of the study attest that the module based on UDL was effective in bridging difficult concepts and can be an adaptative resource to attain Equity in Science Education. This research addresses the challenge of teaching abstract Science (IPA: Science Education) material, specifically Elements, Compounds, and Mixtures, to slow learner students (PDBK: Students with Special Needs) in Phase D (Grade VIII), who require concrete instruction and reduced cognitive load. The study aims to develop and test an Inclusive STEM Module Based on SDGs that is provably valid, practical, and effective for this specific student population. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and a Quasi-Experimental Design with pre-test/post-test. Validation was conducted by six expert validators (V-Aiken). Practicality was assessed via questionnaires from a subset of slow learners (N=10) and one teacher. Effectiveness was tested through field implementation involving 73 Grade VIII students (Experimental Group N=34 vs. Control Group N=39). The primary measure of effectiveness was the N-Gain score, comparing improvement in cognitive learning outcomes. The Module achieved an average V-Aiken Coefficient of 0.87 (Very Valid). Practicality was rated as Very Practical (92.1%) by slow learner subjects. The effectiveness test demonstrated a significant superiority of the Module; the Experimental Group achieved an N-Gain score of 0.78 (Category: High), compared to the Control Group’s N-Gain of 0.40 (Category: Medium).7 This high score confirms that the Module’s inclusive design, utilizing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and guided discovery, successfully mediated complex concepts for slow learners. The developed Module is highly valid, practical, and effective. It provides a viable and adaptive resource for teaching STEM topics equitably, significantly improving cognitive outcomes for slow learner students

This study aimed to examine the relationship between knowledge, perceptions, and subjective norms with adolescents’ attitudes toward gender equality at Darul Huffaz Islamic Boarding School, Pesawaran Regency. A quantitative cross-sectional design was applied with a population of 450 students and a sample of 127 male and female students from grades X–XII. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring knowledge, perception, subjective norms, and attitudes toward gender equality. Spearman’s correlation test was used as the data were not normally distributed. Most students showed positive attitudes toward gender equality, especially female students. However, some male students were less supportive of women’s roles in leadership and careers. Knowledge of gender equality among students remained low due to the absence of direct education from the boarding school. Perceptions were influenced by traditional values, and subjective norms reflected limited environmental support for gender equality. Statistical analysis showed no significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes (p=0.797), while both perception and subjective norms were significantly associated with attitudes (p=0.000). The study concludes that perceptions and subjective norms are significantly related to adolescents’ attitudes toward gender equality, while knowledge is not. Students with positive perceptions and supportive subjective norms are more likely to have favorable attitudes. These findings highlight the importance of education and environmental support in shaping adolescents’ attitudes toward gender issues
