    RANCANG ULANG MESIN PENCETAK BATAKO PADA PT BODEM MAS JAYA

    PT Bodem Mas Jaya is a company engaged in concrete block production. However, the company faces challenges in meeting production targets due to the limitations of its block-making machine, which can only produce two blocks per process. This study aims to redesign the block-making machine to improve efficiency and production capacity. Kansei Engineering was applied to identify user needs, resulting in 16 Kansei words such as ergonomic, productive, precise, and modern. The redesign features a four-mold system, enabling the machine to produce four blocks simultaneously, doubling production capacity. Additional features such as rubber barriers, tray holders, and mold lifters enhance stability, minimize material waste, and maintain block quality. The new design also emphasizes ease of maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency. With this redesign, the company is expected to meet the increasing market demand effectively

    Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia continue to experience rapid growth, including Kerupuk Latansa SME in Batam City. However, the packaging activities at this SME are still performed using non-ergonomic work facilities, causing physical complaints among workers. This study aims to identify the level of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) experienced by workers and to design ergonomic work facilities to improve posture and enhance work comfort. The methods used in this research include posture analysis using RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) and identification of physical complaints through the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. Workers' anthropometric data were used as the basis for designing the work facilities. The results of the study revealed that the most common MSD complaints occurred in the neck, shoulders, back, upper arms, waist, knees, and calves, with a high-risk category. The total percentage of MSD complaints was 64% for Worker 1, 43% for Worker 2, 63% for Worker 3, and 64% for Worker 4. As a solution, an ergonomic worktable was designed with specifications of 90.6 cm in height, 250 cm in length, a partition height of 20 cm, and a table tilt angle of 100°, adjusted according to workers' anthropometric data

    ANALISIS PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE PADA MESIN WELDING POLARIS DI PT EXCELITAS

    This study aims to analyze the performance of the Polaris Welding machine at PT Excelitas using the Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and Overall Availability methods. The Polaris Welding machine often experiences downtime, so that productivity is disrupted. The results of the study showed an average MTBF value of 3.24 hours, MTTR of 0.55 hours, and overall availability of 84.66%, which is still below the global standard (≥ 90%). The main causal factors are lack of operator training, unscheduled machine maintenance, and material mismatch. To improve machine performance, planned maintenance standards and autonomous maintenance are recommended. This approach is expected to minimize downtime and increase the effectiveness of the production process at PT Excelitas

    PERANCANGAN FASILITAS KERJA YANG ERGONOMIS PADA PROSES PEMOTONGAN MATERIAL DI DEPARTEMEN STORE DI PT PEGAUNIHAN TECNOLOGY INDONESIA

    This study is a study conducted on the Department Store operator at PT Pegaunihan Tecnology Indonesia, in the manual handling work process workers have a high risk of mulculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). The study was conducted by observation and distributing questionnaires to workers, the results of the Nordyc Body Map (NBM) questionnaire showed a total of 24 workers complained of upper neck body parts, stiff neck with a percentage of over 90% of workers feeling these complaints. Furthermore, calculations with Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) resulted in 3 workers with the highest risk with a high risk category. From this situation, improvements need to be made. To make improvements, anthropometric data is used, the body dimension data needed in the design is PTD (Front Arm Length), TSB (Standing Elbow Height) and Arm Span. After the calculation, the dimensions of the table were obtained with a width of 70 cm, a length of 110 cm and a height of 103 cm, the complaint value decreased from initially high risk to low risk

    DESAIN DAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM PEMANTAUAN KUALITAS UDARA DALAM RUANGAN BERBASIS ARDUINO

    In this research, a prototype is designed to detect indoor air quality. The designed system will display indoor air quality data on an LCD screen and provide a warning via a buzzer if the air quality reaches an unhealthy threshold. The LED indicator will light up as a visual indication of the air quality based on the concentration of detected pollutants, such as dust particles, harmful gases, temperature, and humidity. The MQ-135 sensor is used to detect harmful gases such as carbon dioxide that can affect air quality. The GP2Y1010AU0F sensor is used to detect particles, while the DHT22 is used to measure temperature and humidity. In the final stage, conclusions will be drawn based on the results of the system tests that have been carried out. It is hoped that through this research, the developed system can provide solutions to indoor air quality problems and contribute to creating a healthier environment for residents

    A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW OF LINE BALANCING PRACTICES IN INDUSTRY: A REVIEW AND TRENDS

    The competition in the evolving industry to improve optimal production line efficiency is becoming increasingly intense. Every industry focuses on reducing waste, enhancing productivity, and utilizing resources more effectively. Line balancing is one of the techniques from lean manufacturing that addresses obstacles to improving productivity performance. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to review the application and trends of the line balancing method in the industrial sector, particularly in manufacturing companies worldwide. The findings from a review of 40 journals on line balancing, including case studies in the industry and literature reviews, show that the success of implementing line balancing depends on key factors that optimize productivity and process flow efficiency. This study aims to analyze research trends related to Sustainable Halal Supply Chain (SHSC) using a bibliometric analysis approach. Using data from the Scopus database, this study identifies relevant scientific publications and examines the contributions of various countries, authors, and journal sources on this topic. The results of the analysis show that research related to SHSC has grown rapidly after 2018, driven by increasing attention to sustainability and global market demand for environmentally friendly halal products. Countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia lead publications on this topic, focusing on the integration of halal principles and sustainability in the supply chain. Despite a significant increase in publications, most of the research is still conceptual, with a lack of empirical data, especially outside Southeast Asia and the Middle East. This study proposes to increase empirical-based studies, especially in Indonesia, to understand the challenges and opportunities in implementing SHSC. Negara-negara seperti Malaysia dan Indonesia memimpin publikasi terkait topik ini, dengan fokus pada integrasi antara prinsip halal dan keberlanjutan dalam rantai pasok. Meskipun terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam publikasi, sebagian besar penelitian masih bersifat konseptual, dengan kekurangan data empiris, terutama di luar Asia Tenggara dan Timur Tengah. Penelitian ini mengusulkan untuk memperbanyak studi berbasis empiris, khususnya di Indonesia, untuk memahami tantangan dan peluang dalam implementasi SHSC.     The purpose of this study is to find out and test how Tax Avoidance, Debt Covenant, and Bonus Mechanism affect energy sector businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 - 2023. This type of secondary research uses data and is quantitative associative. This research uses Microsoft Excel software and E-Views 12 is the data analysis technique used. The research population is energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 - 2023. Purposive sampling is the method used in this study to collect data, and because the population is 83 people, 5 data samples are taken. The results of these findings partially show that Tax Avoidance, Debt Covenant, and Bonus Mechanism have an effect on Transfer Pricing The findings of the study show that Tax Avoidance, Debt Covenant, and Bonus Mechanism have a simultaneous effect on Transfer Pricing

    PENGARUH CITRA MEREK, INOVASI PRODUK DAN IKLAN TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN SAUS SAMBAL SASA DI KOTA BATAM

    This study aims to determine the influence of brand image variables, product innovation and advertisingon purchasing decisions for Sasa Sambal Sauce in Batam City. The sampling technique uses theLemeshow formula because the number of samples is unknown, so the number of respondents in thisstudy is 100 respondents. The data is processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution)version 25. The analysis method used is descriptive statistical test, validity test, reliability test, classicalassumption test, influence test, hypothesis test. The results of the study indicate that brand image,product innovation and advertising have a significant effect simultaneously on purchasing decisions forSasa Sambal Sauce in Batam City. The results of the determination coefficient analysis state that brandimage, product innovation and advertising have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for SasaSambal Sauce by 24.9%. While the rest is influenced by other variables not studied.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel citra merek, inovasi produk dan periklanan terhadap keputusan pembelian Sasa Sambal Saus di Kota Batam. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan Rumus Lemeshow karena jumlah sampelnya tidak diketahui, maka jumlah respondennya banyak penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden. Data diolah menggunakan SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) versi 25. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji statistik deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, klasikal uji asumsi, uji pengaruh, uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra merek, inovasi produk dan periklanan berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian Sasa Sambal Saus di Kota Batam. Hasil analisis koefisien determinasi menyatakan merek tersebut Citra, Inovasi Produk dan Iklan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian Sasa Saus Sambal sebesar 24,9%. Sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti
