Evaluation of Section Shift Converter (HTS and LTS) Catalyst Performance Based on CO Conversion Value, Pressure Drop, and ATE
The shift converter process uses Copper-promoted iron (HTS) and Copper/Zinc (LTS) catalysts to convert syngas into hydrogen through the water-gas shift reaction. Catalytic performance evaluation was conducted by analyzing parameters such as Approach Temperature Equilibrium (ATE), pressure drop, and CO conversion. The findings indicate that in the HTS unit, CO conversion ranged from 69% to 75%, with a significant decline to 69% in the fifth data set due to reduced catalyst activity. Key contributing factors to this decrease include catalyst deactivation caused by sintering and poisoning. Within the LTS unit, CO conversion reached a peak value of 94.08% following the catalyst replacement in January 2024. This observed pressure drop also significantly affected catalyst efficiency, as increased pressure drop reduced the contact time between reactant gases and the catalyst, decreasing optimal CO conversion efficiency. ATE analysis showed that the reaction did not always reach the expected thermodynamic equilibrium, particularly in the HTS unit, where ATE values exceeding design specifications indicated inefficient reaction performance. Catalyst efficiency in the shift converter is significantly influenced by catalyst lifespan, pressure drop, and various operational factors, thus requiring routine catalyst replacement to maintain optimal reactor performance
The Relationship Between Family Support, Drug Side Effects, Patient Attitudes and Tuberculosis Treatment Compliance at Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Hospital
This study aims to determine the relationship between family support, drug side effects, knowledge, and patient attitudes with tuberculosis treatment compliance at Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Hospital. The research employs a descriptive quantitative design using a cross-sectional method. A total of 165 respondents were selected through purposive sampling based on specific inclusion criteria. Data collection was carried out using structured questionnaires, and the results were analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. The findings demonstrated a substantial correlation between family support (p = 0.003), drug side effects (p = 0.015), patient attitude (p = 0.001) and treatment adherence. However, knowledge did not show a significant relationship with adherence (p = 0.433). These results indicate that although knowledge is an essential factor in health behavior, it may not directly influence a patient's commitment to completing tuberculosis treatment. In conclusion, family support, medication side effects, and patient attitudes play a crucial role in improving tuberculosis treatment compliance. Healthcare providers should focus on strengthening family involvement, managing side effects effectively, and fostering positive attitudes in patients to enhance adherence rates. Further research is recommended to explore other potential factors affecting compliance, such as socioeconomic status, healthcare accessibility, and psychological aspects

ANALISIS PENGARUH TINGKAT ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI PERTANIAN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS PADI DI NIAS SELATAN
Enhancing rice productivity is vital for food security in developing regions. This study analyzes the adoption of high-yield varieties (HYVs) and agricultural machinery among rice farmers in South Nias and evaluates their impact on yields. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected via a survey of 214 purposively sampled farmers, supplemented with in-depth interviews. The results indicate low adoption rates: only 25% of farmers use HYVs, and approximately 20% use machinery. Key barriers identified include limited access, high costs, and insufficient technical information and training. Despite these challenges, statistical analysis confirms that the adoption of both technologies has a significant positive effect on rice productivity. Farmers using these technologies achieved markedly higher yields compared to non-adopters. The study concludes that the potential of agricultural technology remains underutilized in South Nias due to critical access and knowledge gaps.Â
ANALISIS KEBERLANJUTAN PENGHIDUPAN DAN USAHA PETERNAKAN KAMBING DAN DOMBA DI KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG
Goat and sheep farming in Tulungagung Regency plays a crucial role in rural livelihoods, yet it still faces economic vulnerability, institutional limitations, and environmental pressures. Furthermore, studies on sustainability, which link livelihood assets to business performance at the local level, are still limited. This study aims to assess the level of livelihood and business sustainability among farmers and identify key livelihood assets that influence business resilience. Data were collected from 73 farmers through structured questionnaires and analysed using an ordinal scoring method (1–3) for 14 indicators grouped into five livelihood assets and three dimensions of sustainability (economic, social, and environmental). The results show that 49.32% of farmers have achieved the sustainable livelihood category, while 54.79% of businesses remain in the moderately sustainable category. The environmental dimension shows the best performance, and the economic dimension is the weakest, due to low income, limited access to capital, and price fluctuations. The main obstacles faced include livestock diseases, limited feed, and lack of institutional support. It can therefore be concluded that the sustainability of goat and sheep farming businesses in Tulungagung is still relatively fragile and requires strengthening in economic and institutional aspects, particularly through increased access to capital, feed provision, and strengthening of marketing institutions
