Difficult Airway Intubation Due to Mouth Opening Limitation Caused by Mandibular Abscess: A Case Report
Get PDFAppropriate management of difficult airway is imperative, particularly in cases with anticipated difficult airway. It customarily requires deliberate perioperative assessment. In this article we present a case of limited mouth opening along with restricted mobility of the temporomandibular joint secondary to mandibular abscess which requires surgical intervention. Preoperatively, difficult airway intubation was expected (based on LEMON mnemonic on preoperative evaluation). Therefore, Macintosh video laryngoscope and fiberoptic bronchoscope was prepared to aid in intubation. Due to the patient’s anxiety towards the procedure, the intubation was done while the patient is asleep. Preoxygenation was uneventfully. Following induction with general anesthesia, several attempts to conduct nasotracheal intubation using Macintosh video laryngoscope were made but all were abortive. This failed attempt is primarily due to the limited mouth opening and jaw mobility. Hence, fiberoptic bronchoscope-assisted nasotracheal intubation was conducted and was able to achieve airway patency. Connection of Body Mass Index (BMI) Against Angle Shape Arch Pedis Longitudinal on Students of The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya
Get PDFPhysical growth during adolescence will occur at more than 20% of total height growth, and 50% of bone mass has also been achieved during this period. Body Mass Index (BMI) to control normal body weight is achieved by adjusting body height. BMI can be used to interpret the possibility that the person is at risk of developing risk of weight-related diseases. The human feet are the most important part of supporting our body and can be correlated with body weight. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and the shape of the longitudinal arcus pedis angle in medical students in Surabaya. An analytic observational method with a cross-sectional research design was used with a sample size of 53 students. The results of this study conclude that there is a significant relationship between Body Mass Index and the shape of the longitudinal curve of the pedis in students (p-value: 0.009). An increased BMI will cause the pedis angle to widen which will result in the feet becoming flatter, thus affecting the body's balance when standing for a long time. The Village Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) Tani Unggul Desa Banjardoro, Jombang District is an institution that aims to strengthen the economy of rural communities which was formed based on the needs and potential of the village where the community and village government are the managers. The research problem is to determine the management strategy of the Banjardowo Village Owned Enterprise, Jombang District. The research design uses a quantitative, where data collection uses a questionnaire given to respondents. The Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) technique is used to determine decisions regarding the right strategy in the management of BUMDesThe results showed that there were 6 management strategies of Tani Unggul Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Banjardowo Village, Jombang District, Jombang Regency, namely Accountable, Participatory, Transparent, Cooperative, Sustainable and Emancipatory. Management strategy for the accountable field is to complete financial instruments. The participatory field is BUMDes expanding the business area and assisting community business development. The transparent area is that BUMDes communicate developments and other information from the program directly to BUMDes consultants. The cooperative field is the Organizational Structure that meets the needs of BUMDes. The sustainable field is there is business continuity. The emancipatory sector is profit for the owners of capital according to the percentage of capital participation

Get PDFABSTRACTThis research entitled Pineapple Agribusiness Development Strategy Queen Asam Gulas Variety (Ananas comosus l. merr) in Ngancar Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency aims to analyze internal and external factors and formulate a strategy for developing pineapple agribusiness varieties queen asam gulas in Ngancar Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency, East Java. The results showed that the internal factors of the pineapple agribusiness strategy of the queen asam gulas variety had 4 strengths and 4 weaknesses. External factors of pineapple agribusiness strategy queen asam gulas variety there are 3 opportunities and 3 threats. The IFAS value is 0.20 and the EFAS value is 0.65. The SWOT analysis diagram shows that the agribusiness development strategy of pineapple variety queen asam gulas lies in quadrant I which means a strategy made by using strength to attract existing opportunities. Aggressive strategy is a strategy that shows in a favorable position, pineapple development in Ngancar Village, Ngancar District, by using strength to seize existing opportunities.Keywords: Agribusiness, Development strategy, SWOT analysis..ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berjudul Strategi Pengembangan Agribisnis Nanas Varietas queen asam gulas (Ananas comosus l. merr) di Desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri bertujuan menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan agribisnis nanas varietas queen asam gulas di Desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal strategi agribisnis nanas varietas queen asam gulas terdapat 4 kekuatan (Strength) dan mempunyai 4 kelemahan (Weakness). Faktor eksternal strategi agribisnis nanas varietas queen asam gulas terdapat 3 peluang (Opportunity) dan 3 ancaman (Threats). Nilai IFAS sebesar 0,20 dan nilai EFAS sebesar 0,65. Diagram analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan agribisnis nanas varietas queen asam gulas terletak pada kuadran I yang artinya strategi yang dibuat dengan menggunakan kekuatan untuk menarik peluang yang ada. PERENCANAAN GEDUNG PERKANTORAN BERLIANO 10 LANTAI DIKOTA PALU MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM RANGKA PEMIKUL MOMEN KHUSUS
Get PDFABSTRAK : Kota Palu adalah ibu kota Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, dengan wilayah seluas 395,06 kilometer persegi. Menurut BNPB gempa Palu - Donggala pada tahun 2018 dengan magnitudo 7.4. Kota Palu memerlukan perencanaan bangunan yang bisa menahan gaya gempa yang sesuai dengan SNI 1726-2019 dan juga SNI 2847-2019 untuk strukturalnya. Gedung Perkantoran ini menggunakan beton normal dengan kuat tekan 30 MPa dan berat jenis 2400 kg per meter kubik. Sistem penahan gempa yang digunakan pada perencanaan gedung Perkantoran ini yaitu sistem rangka pemikul momen khusus (SRPMK). Peraturan yang digunakan dalam merencanakan gedung Perkantoran ini yaitu SNI 2847 – 2019, SNI 1726 -2019 dan SNI 1727-2020. Setelah dilakukan analisa dapat disimpulkan bahwa gedung Perkantoran ini menjadi bangunan tahan gempa yang mampu bertahan dari keruntuhan saat terjadi gempa. Simpangan gedung yang terjadi tidak melebihi simpangan izin dan juga struktur gedung ini telah memenuhi persyaratan strong column weak beam dengan syarat momen nominal kolom lebih besar dari momen nominal balok yaitu, Sigma Mnc lebih besar atau sama dengan 1,2 Sigma Mnb sama dengan 7200 kNm lebih besar atau sama dengan 1101,68 kNm. Pondasi direncanakan dengan menggunakan tiang pancang dengan dimensi 50 cm x 50 cm, sebanyak 5 dan 4 tiang dengan kedalaman 20 m. Respondents of this research were consumers of Gold Gym Surabaya Town Square (SUTOS) Surabaya as many as 100 samples using purposive sampling. Proving the research hypothesis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results in this study prove that customer experience which includes sense, feel, think, and relate has a significant effect on repurchase intention. Get PDFThis study aims to determine the partial effect of variables such as debt to equity ratio, return on equity and interest rates on the stock price of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. The independent variables studied were der, roe and interest rates, while the dependent variable was stock prices. The observation period starts from the 1st quarter of 2011 to the 4th quarter of 2020. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with sampling in this study using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and the hypothesis is using t test. Based on the partial hypothesis test, the results showed that der, reo had no significant effect on the stock price of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, while interest rates had a significant effect. Interest rate is a variable that affects stock prices with a significance level of 0.035. Thus, investors should consider the rate of change in interest rates before deciding to invest in shares of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk

Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media puzzle suku kata sebagai sarana yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I di SDN 182 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan, yang meliputi beberapa tahap, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan media. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan lembar angket terhadap media puzzle suku kata yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan positif terhadap pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran membaca di tingkat permulaan. Selain itu, diharapkan juga dapat menjadi referensi bagi pihak sekolah dan guru dalam memilih strategi pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas I
