    No full text
This study discusses the revitalization of the role of teachers in Islamic Education learning amidst rapid technological developments. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers are faced with the challenge of adapting their traditional role as information transmitters to become facilitators and innovators of technology-based learning, without abandoning Islamic values. The purpose of this study is to formulate concrete strategies to strengthen the role of teachers so that PAI learning is more effective and contextual in the digital era. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of scientific literature, educational policies, and related digital sources, with a study period spanning from 2015 to 2025. The results of the study indicate that there has been a shift in the role of PAI teachers from material transmitters to innovative learning facilitators, although technology integration is still limited to media adaptation without in-depth reinforcement of Islamic values. The main obstacles include low teacher digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and a learning paradigm that is still teacher-centered. The proposed revitalization strategy includes TPACK-based training, the development of a sharia-compliant LMS, the establishment of a digital PAI teacher professional learning community, and the implementation of blended-flipped Islamic values-based learning. Multi-stakeholder collaboration and affirmative government policies are needed to realize effective, contextual, and relevant Islamic Religious Education learning in the digital ag

Manuskrip Al-Qur’an Wakaf Asal Aceh: Tinjauan Filologi

    No full text
This article investigates a Qur’anic manuscript with the catalog code A.646, housed in the National Library of Indonesia. The manuscript originates from Aceh and is analyzed using a philological approach. Despite the abundance of Qur’anic manuscripts in the archipelago, scholarly attention to their materiality and localized scriptural features especially those from Aceh remains limited. This study seeks to fill that gap by providing a detailed analysis of one such underexplored manuscript, thereby contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the region’s Islamic intellectual heritage. The research examines multiple physical and textual features: the manuscript’s structure, paper type, ink, illumination style, and script. It further explores orthographic elements such as rasm, qirāʾāt, diacritics, tajwīd notations, and waqf signs. To situate the manuscript within its broader context, the study also investigates its historical background, particularly the Islamic educational and scribal traditions in 19th-century Aceh. Although visually modest, the manuscript reveals distinctive orthographic elements notably its rare tajwīd and waqf symbol which are almost absent in modern printed Qur’ans. This is the core novelty of the study: the manuscript preserves rare codicological practices that reflect a unique Acehnese interpretation of Qur’anic pedagogy and devotional use. Moreover, the manuscript includes a wakaf note, indicating its communal function and role in devotional life. Despite a few scribal inconsistencies, the manuscript offers rich evidence of Islamic literacy and localized religious expression in the Malay world

Stunting is a global health issue affecting approximately 22% of toddlers worldwide, with a prevalence rate of 21.6% in Indonesia (SSGI 2022), necessitating a multisectoral approach that includes the role of local actors. This study aims to explore the role of religious leaders (ulema) and traditional community leaders in stunting prevention efforts in Kampar Regency, an area facing challenges related to child malnutrition. The study examines how these leaders, as social influencers, contribute through educational and advocacy activities. A qualitative method was chosen to gain an in depth understanding of their perspectives, experiences, and community participation dynamics, employing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews and focus group discussions involving Ulema, traditional leaders, health agency representatives, and local government officials. Data analysis reveals their key role in raising public awareness about balanced nutrition and proper parenting, primarily through religious sermons, Islamic study groups, and traditional rituals. Major challenges include insufficient program integration with the health system and the need for further training. These findings highlight the importance of structured collaboration among local leaders, the health sector, and the government to strengthen holistic stunting prevention efforts
