Pedagogical Competences of Arabic Language Teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Pangkalpinang (Implementation and Obstacles)
During observations at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in Pangkalpinang, We found that there were still many students who had poor Arabic language skills. It makes us interested to know the pedagogical competence of the teacher at the school and also the obstacles he encountered in optimizing the application of the pedagogic competence he possesses because there are some studies that say that the pedagogy of teachers influences the learning outcome, motivation, and interest in learning Arabic students. This research aims to find out how the teacher's pedagogical competence is implemented in the following learning process with the obstacles encountered by the teacher in implementing such pedagogic competence. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. For data collection, the methods of interviews, documents and observations were used. For data analysis, the techniques invented by Miles and Huberman consist of the process of data reduction, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of research showed that teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in Pangkalpinang already have good pedagogical competence. However, in optimizing the application of their pedagogical competences, teachers face various barriers from both students, schools, environments, and learning time. This research provides information to future researchers. We hope that there will be further research into solutions that can be offered to overcome barriers to learning Arabic that come from students, schools, environments and the learning time provided
Tāthwir Kurrosāh āt-Tādribāt āl-Iliktruniyāh bii Wāsilāh Wārāqāh āl-‘Amāl āl-Mubāsyiroh li Thullāb ās-Shāf ās-Sābi’ fii Mādrosāh āts-Tsānāwiyāh
Students experience difficulties in understanding the rules of Arabic lessons, this is caused by the lack of supporting teaching materials used by teachers in learning. The aim of the research is to produce a product and to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of using the product in learning Arabic. The method used in this research is the R & D method with the Four D (4D) model, namely Define, Design, Developmnet and Disseminate. Data collection was taken from interviews with teachers in the field of Arabic language studies and several students, observations carried out in the classroom, and tests on student learning outcomes obtained from trials, then documentation. The data analysis technique uses an independent sample t-test with a significance value of <0.05. Product feasibility is obtained from two validators, namely media experts and material experts. The final results of this research are based on a validity test, namely validation by media experts getting results of 85.7% with very feasible criteria, validation by material experts getting results of 95.4% with very feasible criteria. In the assessment of students in the control class and experimental class, the average score was 58.3, increasing to 84.5 in the control class and an average of 34.9, increasing to 90.1 in the experimental class. Thus, it can be stated that the Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD is very feasible and effective for use in Arabic language learning for class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. The scientific contribution of this product is that we hope it can be used in learning activities in the current Independent Curriculum era and for future research, hopefully we can further develop this research

One of the ways to avoid miscommunication is to pronounce the words correctly. Unfortunately, pronunciation is one of the English aspects that are difficult to learn and teach. The research’s objectives are to know and analyze how the YouTube Music application could improve the eighth grade students’ pronunciation mastery at SMP Negeri 56 Palembang and to find out the causes of the students’ pronunciation problems. It was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 3 ways of collecting data i.e. test, observation, and questionnaire. It was conducted for class 8.5 at SMP Negeri 56 Palembang. The research reached the successful criteria in the third cycle i.e. 80% of the students reached the KKM. The results showed that by doing the drilling technique, asking the students to sing the song together in some groups, and choosing the appropriate songs e.g. the songs that are viral or happening in the pronunciation classroom activities, the student’s enthusiasm and pronunciation mastery got higher. The lack of exposure to English, the lack of motivation to study English pronunciation, and some English sounds that are hard to pronounce because students do not find them in their native, are the three causes of the students’ pronunciation problems
