Collaborative Supervision and Evaluation of (Context, Input, Process and Product) in Muhadatsah Sobahiyah Program
No full textThis research is based on the importance of supervision and evaluation as part of the program management function. Supervision and evaluation of the program need to be carried out to measure its success and feasibility. The purpose of this study is to find out how the management supervision, and evaluation of the context, input, process and product model in muhadatsah sobahiyah program at Darussalam Gontor for Girls Islamic Boarding School 2. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. All data is obtained through observation, Semi-structured interviews, and documentation techniques. Triangulation is performed to test the credibility of the data. Participants in this study consisted of 5 language supervisors, three of whom were members of the Language Advisory Council and two were members of the Central Language Improvement. The research results showed that the supervision process was carried out by the deputy caretaker, Language Advisory Council, Central Language Improvement, and the regional language section. Muhadatsah supervision at Gontor for Girls Campus 2 includes internal, repressive, preventive, active and passive supervision as well as formal truth supervision. It was also discovered that supervision of the program was carried out collaboratively. while the evaluation carried out on the program consists of 4 elements, namely context, process input, and product. So far, the muhadatsah program at Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor for Girls Campus 2 has run according to expectations and desired goals. The advice for researchers can then continue research on supervision and evaluation of other learning programs in an institution. In addition, this research can be one of the references for academics in efforts to implement supervision and evaluation of programs, especially the Arabic language education program
Implikasi Metode Yanbu’a Terhadap Kualitas Maharah Qira’ah Jahriyyah Santri Madrasah Tahfidz Putri Anak Yogyakarta
No full textThe Yanbu'a method is a method of memorizing the Qur'an that pays attention to aspects of clarity and fluency. To support Qur'an memorization activities, Madrasah Tahfidz Putri Anak in Yogyakarta teaches the Yanbu'a method in its educational activities. The background of this study is because there are still Arabic pronunciation errors that are not good in reading skills, so there needs to be an appropriate strategy in improving the quality of reading the Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to try to find the relationship between the quality of Qur'anic recitation in the Yanbu'a method and the quality of students' ability to read and pronounce fluent Arabic texts with a fluent tongue expressively. The educational implications of the Yanbu'a method are interesting to study its impact on the quality of reading aloud which is not limited to reading and understanding by heart, but includes abilities such as expressing it with the correct tongue. This research is all the more interesting because almost all literature that discusses the Yanbu'a method relates it to fluency in reading the Qur'an. However, in this study, the researchers tried to relate it to a different aspect, namely the ability to read aloud Arabic texts other than the Qur'an. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through observation, interview, and documentation. The data sources in this study are the Qur'an and a collection of school supervisors. Future researchers can develop this article by discussing how the implementation of the Yanbu'a method in improving the quality of maharah qira'ah jahriyyah outside of reading the Qur'an
Peningkatan Kemampuan Insya’ Muwajjah Melalui Media Papan Susun Kalimat pada Santri di Madrasah Diniyyah Assunniyyah Kencong Jember
No full textArabic is one of the most widely used languages in the world, especially among Muslims, because it is the language of the Qur'an and hadith. In learning Arabic, there are five skills that must be mastered by students, one of which is writing skills (maharah al-kitabah), which includes insya' muwajjah skills, namely guided composition or composing sentences. However, in practice, many students face obstacles such as boredom, difficulty in composing sentences, and lack of innovation in learning. To overcome this, this study aims to improve the insya' muwajjah skills of class 1 high school students at Madrasah Diniyyah Assunniyyah Kencong Jember by using sentence board media. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection through observation, interviews, documentation, and written tests. Data analysis is carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions, as well as triangulating data sources. The results of the study indicate that the use of sentence board media can increase students' interest in learning, reduce boredom, and make it easier for them to compose sentences in Arabic. This media is also effective in helping teachers deliver materials in a more interesting and interactive way. Thus, it can be concluded that the sentence board media is effective in improving the insya' muwajjah abilities of students and making the learning process more interesting and enjoyable
Developing English Book for X TKR of Vocational High School Based on Contextual Purposes: English
No full textThis research aims to develop an English book for X TKR of Vocational High School by implementing an Independent curriculum. Base on the result of need analysis with students and interviews with English teacher, the researchers find the problem that SMK Darul Huda Blitar implementing independent curriculum but do not have patent materials for learning English using the independent curriculum. The product was created using the R&D approach with five stages of ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In this study, the research instruments and data sources were from need analysis questionnaire, interview guidelines, and student satisfaction questionnaire. The results of research show that English learning books accompanied by illustrations, a little material and equipped with practice can increase understanding and enthusiasm in lessons. Based on the results of a student satisfaction questionnaire filled out by 19 students after using English books for contextual purposes, the score reached 96%, which means this media is very good for use in increasing interest and understanding in English lessons

No full textThe study aims to develop a guessing game in English to improve the speaking ability of grade 9 students at MTs Al-Hidayah Sukonolo. This product was developed as a fun learning media for students, so that students can enjoy speaking English, researchers took this product because according to the results of observations and suggestions from the subject teacher concerned. Students also lack confidence when speaking. They are afraid of making grammatical or pronunciation mistakes. The purpose of this study is to improve students. Ability to speak English, with this product students will be trained to be confident in pronouncing words in English based on research and development Borg and Gall. Qualitative data analysis procedure in form of data collection is done by means, of observation, reduction and categorization of data, data appearance a conclusion. Quantitative data analysis was carried out by collecting data from questioner assessment, the second questioner for the validator is material experts, media experts and response questioner given to teacher and students. seeing from questioner and research that has been done that this guessing game product has a score of 61-80% in the sense of good. So, it can be used easily and interestingly for pupils studying English, particularly with regard to their speaking abilities. At the development stage, researchers conducted validation to test the feasibility of the guessing game product. The validation was carried out by two specialists, namely media experts and learning experts. The validation score computation's findings indicate that the final average score, which is 91,07 with extremely valid. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis that was filled in by students, the final average result was 75,00%. These results indicate the qualification of "WELL" according to the interval scale of 61% - 80%. So, guessing product can be categorized as interesting, useful, and easy-to used
Development of Content Video Tiktok as a Learning Media to Teach Speaking Skill for Students in SMK Islam 1 Blitar: English
No full textThe aim of this study is to develop content video on tiktok applications as a valid or effective technology-based learning media to train the ability to speak English on the procedure text material. The education sector in today's technological age has a strong influence on human resource standards, so for an effective learning process, learning media are needed. Several the methods Borg and Gall by Pantrisia Research and Development(R&D) models were utilized in this study to collect unstructured interviews and observation. There are steps including need analysis, observation and collecting data, product design, validation product, revision product, product testing and revision the product. Researchers selected the subject of this study students of the XI grade major communication engineering and networking 3 in SMK Islam 1 Blitar. Data collection techniques applied were observations, interviews and quesioners. On data analysis researchers use a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The instruments used are observation sheets, validations sheets and quisionare student responses. The three experts also provided the researchers with one valid finding and two very valid results. Validation scores for instruments are 90%, materials are 95%, and media is 75%. These scores indicate that the instruments are appropriate for use as instructional media in procedure text content. Based on the satisfaction questionnaire results about this product, students can use the learning media, and 85% get good answers. Finally, this product can be used as a learning media to train speaking skills in subject
An Analysis of Students' Difficulties in Speaking Ability; A Descriptive Study at Eleventh Students of SMA Islam Al-Ulum Medan: English

The purpose of this study was to examine the speaking ability faced by SMA Islam Al-Ulum Medan eleventh-grade high school students. The qualitative descriptive methodology is used in this study to examine the difficulties students have speaking. Questionnaires and classroom observations provided the data for this research. The information gathered shows that the main speaking challenges faced by eleventh-grade pupils might be broadly classified into two categories: linguistic and non-linguistic. According to information gathered from the questionnaire and in-class observations, students' primary language difficulties when speaking are related to a deficiency in vocabulary, mispronounced words, and inadequate knowledge of grammar. Non-linguistic elements like psychological ones don't play a big part in the primary challenges that pupils face when speaking English. However, many pupils struggle to speak fluently, which is a challenging task that requires the integration of linguistic and non-linguistic. No full textThis research aims to find and describe the various obstacles and the most dominant hindering factors experienced by students that inhibit their ability to speak English in class. This researcher was conducted at SMA Swasta Islam Terpadu Darul Istiqamah in the 2023-2024 academic year. The sample for this research comprised 11th-grade in the second semester. This research uses mixed methods, utilizing questionnaires and interviews as instruments for data collection. This research explores two main hindering factors: affective factors and linguistic factors. The results indicate that the highest barriers preventing students from speaking in English class are affective factors, such as fear of making mistakes, shyness, and lack of motivation. Meanwhile, in terms of linguistic factors, the only notable obstacle is a lack of fluency. These findings suggest that affective factors are the most dominant barriers affecting students' ability to speak in English clas
Trichotomy in Visual and Written Text of the Honor of Kings Advertisement: A Semiotic Case by Peirce
No full textThis study analyzes the use of semiotic signs in advertisements for the popular MOBA game Honor of Kings through Peirce's trichotomy theory. The research focuses on analyzing the visuals and written text in the ads to understand how these elements convey messages. Descriptive qualitative method with data collection through purposive sampling method was applied in this research. From the 38 data that the author found, 11 data were taken in the form of 7 visuals and 4 written texts from two video advertisements entitled “Welcome to Honor of Kings” and “Honor of Kings Launch Date Trailer.” The research findings reveal that the combination of visual and written text creates a cohesive and continuous narrative that increases audience engagement and interest. This study contributes to the field of semiotics and marketing by showing how semiotic elements in advertising can shape meaningful and effective communication strategies. The findings offer insights for marketers and academics on improving message delivery in digital media through semiotic signs.
 
Pendampingan Pembelajaran Tajwid Dasar Pada Santri Baru Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Sukajadi
No full textPendampingan dilaksanakan dengan santri Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Sukajadi sebagai objek dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan tujuan memberikan pengetahuan berupa ilmu tajwid dasar yang bermanfaat atau membantu mempermudah santri dalam membaca serta menghafalkan Al-Qur’an. Pendampingan ini mengambil program pembelajaran atau penyuluhan dalam penerapan ilmu tajwid dalam mengembangkan bacaan Al-Qur’an yang baik dan benar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan dengan memberikan edukasi kepada para santri baru mengenai tata cara membaca Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar sesuai kaidah ilmu tajwid. Pendampingan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan santri baru tentang tata cara membaca Al-Quran dan diharapkan dapat diamalkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara langsung di Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Sukajadi. Terdapat beberapa pendampingan pengabdian tentang pengabdian pembelajaran tajwid salah satunya adalah nama pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh Adiva Syaifullah, Farah Maulida Rahmah, Fathatus Salamah dan Triana Srisantyorini yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2020
