    The Basic Role of Islamic Education Management in Human Resource Management in the Digital Era

    In the digital era, Islamic educational management plays a fundamental role in developing human resources (HR) who are not only technologically competent but also uphold Islamic values. The digital transformation in education requires HR management that can integrate Islamic principles with digital skills suited to today’s educators. This study aims to analyze the fundamental role of Islamic educational management in planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising HR management in the digital era, as well as to identify relevant strategies for achieving a balance between technology and Islamic values. The methodology used is a qualitative approach through a literature review that includes examining Islamic educational management theories and analyzing the application of modern management approaches, such as the hierarchy of needs, contingency theory, and transformational leadership. The results indicate that integrating management functions with Islamic principles effectively supports the development of educators who possess both technological competencies and Islamic character. Flexible organization, technology-based training planning, and ethics-based supervision have proven effective in shaping HR that is adaptable to digital changes. The implications of this study suggest that Islamic educational institutions can strengthen HR quality through management strategies that balance technological skill development with character-building. This approach not only enhances educational effectiveness in the digital era but also reinforces the Islamic values embedded in every aspect of HR management

    Student Management in Improving Student Learning Ethos (Case Study at MTs NU Sumber Agung)

    The learning ethos is a reflection of students' behavior during learning. In an effort to improve the learning ethos, it is necessary to implement programs, one of which is through student management activities. This research aims to analyze the role of student management in improving students' learning ethos in secondary schools. A descriptive qualitative approach, this research collects data through observation, interviews with teachers, student affairs staff and students. Management strategies which include enforcing discipline and giving awards play an important role in improving the learning ethos of MTs NU Sumber Agung students. It is known for its excellent religious education and its well-educated students who have good morals and are able to have a positive impact on their peers. The techniques chosen in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: (1) Student planning is carried out in the form of creating a New Student Admissions Committee (PPDB), preparing PPDB planning (planning numbers, classrooms, making brochures and registering new students), and preparing learning plans until student graduation. (2) Implementation of student affairs includes accepting new students, grouping students, recording student attendance, as well as coaching and developing students. (3) Evaluation of students at MTs NU Sumber Agung is carried out at every activity, such as after daily tests, when distributing semester exam study scores

    The Influence of Collaboration of Memorization Methods with Nahwu and Shorof on the Understanding of Al-Qur'an Hadith Subjects of Class X Students of Madrasah Aliyah Bumi Sholawat Wates

    This study aims to analyze the effect of collaborative memorization method with Nahwu and Shorof science on the understanding of Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects. This study uses a quantitative research method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in the study amounted to 90 students, and the sample used was 20 class X students selected through cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument was a test designed to measure students' level of understanding before and after treatment. The instrument has been tested for content validity and reliability using Cronbach's Alpha with the help of IBM SPSS version 30, the test results show sig 0.41> 0.05, it can be concluded that the instrument is reliable and can be used to obtain research data. The results of the paired sample T test show a sig value of 0.001 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect after applying the collaboration of memorization methods with Nahwu and Shorof in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects for class X Madrasah Aliyah Bumi Sholawat Wates students. The results of data analysis show that there is an increase in student understanding after the application of this collaborative method, with an N-Gain score of 0.36 which is included in the moderate category. This finding indicates that the collaboration of memorization method with Nahwu and Shorof can significantly improve students' understanding of the Hadith Qur'an subject

    The Implementation of Audiovisual Media to Improve Students’ Learning Motivation in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) Subject for Grade XI F1 at MA Darul Amal Metro, Lampung

    This study aims to describe the implementation of audiovisual media in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning and its impact on students’ learning motivation and understanding in class XI F1 at MA Darul A’mal Metro, Lampung. The results show that the use of audiovisual media, such as videos, documentary films, and PowerPoint presentations, is able to create a more engaging, interactive, and easily understood learning atmosphere. The use of these media increases students’ focus and enthusiasm and encourages them to be more active in discussions and to ask critical questions about the material. Teachers also carry out thorough learning preparation, starting from the formulation of objectives, preparation of media and supporting tools, to learning evaluation. Evaluation is conducted in various forms to measure students’ cognitive, skills, and attitudinal aspects. Although there are obstacles such as limited time and differences in students’ levels of understanding, audiovisual media have proven to be effective in improving the quality of SKI learning. The conclusion of this study is that audiovisual media have great potential in enhancing the quality of SKI learning, particularly in improving students’ learning motivation and understanding

    Learning Start With a Question (LSQ) Method to Student Learning Activity in Science Subject of Class VI A SD NU Metro

    Learning activity is one of the important elements in learning. Activity consists of physical and mental activities, namely doing and thinking as a series that cannot be separated. This study aims to determine the application of the learning start with a question method on the material of science, especially on the material of natural disasters and their impacts of class VI A SD NU Metro and to determine the increase in student learning activity by using the learning start with a question method. Based on the results of the pre-survey and interviews, problems were found, namely the lack of attention and concentration of students, the lack of enthusiasm of students in participating in learning and the lack of interaction between teachers and students , so that students find it difficult to focus on learning, and lack of motivation in learning. This has an impact on the learning activity of students which is not optimal. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of an in-depth analysis related to the application of the learning start with a question method on student learning activity show that there are better changes so that it can be said that there is an increase indicated by the change where there are some students who are not yet able to understand the reading, therefore with the application of the learning start with a question method , these children begin to be able or even can conclude from the results they read

    Integrating Visual Media in the Development of Islamic Religious Education at Raudlatul Athfal Hidayatus Sibyan, East Lampung

    This study aims to describe: (1) the use of visual media in the development of Islamic Religious Education learning at Raudlatul Athfal Hidayatus Sibyan in Pematang Tahalo; (2) the supporting factors for the use of visual media in enhancing IRE learning at the institution; and (3) the inhibiting factors that hinder the implementation of visual media in IRE instruction at Raudlatul Athfal Hidayatus Sibyan. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The subjects of the study consisted of the school principal, teachers, and students. The data analysis techniques employed include data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of the study reveal the following: (1) The visual media used in IRE instruction included still images such as posters, caricatures, and cartoons, as well as motion pictures. The use of such media has enhanced the quality of the teaching and learning process. (2) The supporting factors in utilizing visual media include the professionalism of teachers, which is reflected in their preparation of materials, methods, media, instruction, and evaluation; students’ strong curiosity; the school leadership’s empathetic support for program implementation; and active parental involvement and cooperation all of which are vital to the school’s success. (3) The inhibiting factors include the limited availability of visual data or media that align with the full range of IRE content particularly suitable motion pictures; the diverse intellectual backgrounds of students; and, at times, the inadequate preparation of instructional tools by teachers, which requires considerable diligence and thoroughness

    Discussion and Dialogue Methods to Address the Moral Crisis of Generation Z on Social Media: A Case Study at SMP Kartikatama Metro

    In the current era of social media development, platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube have become an inseparable part of adolescents’ lives, bringing positive impacts on creativity and access to information, but also posing serious challenges to the morality and character of the younger generation. This moral crisis includes a decline in communication ethics, imitative behavior toward negative content, as well as decreasing discipline and courtesy in the school environment.This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, using in depth interviews with the principal, Islamic Education (PAI) teachers, and students. The findings indicate that discussion and dialogue methods are effective strategies for fostering students’ moral awareness. Islamic Education teachers act as facilitators who create space for critical, reflective, and communicative thinking, enabling students to assess moral values from religious and social perspectives in a rational manner. Through these dialogical activities, students become more cautious in interacting on social media, more polite in giving comments, and more capable of correcting the negative behavior of their peers. Theoretically, the results of this study reinforce Vygotsky’s view of social constructivism and Al-Attas’s concept of ta’dib, which state that moral education is formed through social interaction and reflective role modeling. Thus, the application of dialogue and discussion methods in Islamic Education learning proves effective in shaping digital spirituality, social responsibility, and ethical awareness among Generation Z in the era of social media. This study recommends integrating these methods into the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) curriculum as an adaptive, innovative, and contextual character education model for Indonesian schools

    A Mirror of Saudi Social Reform: An Analysis of Haifa al-Mansour's Film "Wadjda" Tzvetan Todorov's Narrative Theory

    The film Wadjda by Haifaa al-Mansour is a cinematic work that portrays the struggles of a young girl in Saudi Arabia as she navigates rigid social norms. In recent decades, Saudi Arabian society has undergone various social reforms aimed at redefining the role of women, including easing restrictions on education and social participation. This context is significant to analyze, as films often serve as a medium that reflects and critiques ongoing social dynamics. This study aims to explore how the film reflects the ongoing social reforms within Saudi society. Tzvetan Todorov's narrative theory outlines five stages: equilibrium, disruption, recognition, resolution, and new equilibrium. The method used is narrative analysis with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation of narrative elements in the film and analyzed based on Todorov's five stages. The analysis process includes identifying the initial equilibrium, the disruption faced by the main character, the recognition of the arising situation, efforts to remedy it, and the achievement of a new equilibrium. The results show that Wadjda begins with an equilibrium, where Wadjda lives a typical everyday life. Disruption occurs when Wadjda expresses a desire to buy a bicycle, which conflicts with gender norms in her society. Recognition of this challenge drives Wadjda to pursue her dream, ultimately leading to a positive shift in societal views on women. Through Todorov's narrative analysis, it becomes evident that the film effectively illustrates how small changes can spark discussions on women's rights and individual freedom within a conservative cultural context. This study contributes to the academic discourse on the intersection between narrative structures and social reform by providing a case study that applies Todorov's theory to Arabic cinema. It also highlights the significance of Wadjda as a cultural artifact that reflects evolving gender norms in Saudi Arabia, thereby enriching the understanding of how media serves as a lens for societal transformation. Despite its insights, this study is limited in scope as it focuses solely on Wadjda without comparative analysis with other films addressing similar themes. Additionally, the study does not consider audience reception, which could provide a deeper understanding of the film's societal impact. Future research could address these gaps by incorporating comparative studies or exploring the film's reception in both local and global contexts

    Analysis of Arabic Language Textbooks Published by Quadra in 2022 for Class XI of Islamic High School Based on Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

    Textbooks play a crucial role in the Arabic language learning journey for non-Arabic-speaking students at the Madrasah Aliyah level. A well-structured textbook can act as a teaching aid and a roadmap for mastering language competencies that align with both national and international standards, such as the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. One such textbook is “اللغة العربية 2” published by Quadra in 2022 for Year 11 students. However, research on this textbook remains limited. This study aims to examine the alignment of the textbook's content with established standards while investigating indicators of speaking skill competence based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and content analysis methods, the primary data source is “اللغة العربية 2” supplemented by relevant literature. The findings indicate that the textbook meets standards for linguistic accuracy, material presentation, and visual layout. The speaking competencies are aligned with levels A2 and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Topics like shopping and health correspond to level A2, promoting direct communication, while travel and technology fit level B1, encouraging extended speech and structured expression of experiences and opinions. Future research should explore other language skills within the same textbook for a comprehensive evaluation

    Digital Female Representation Subjectivity in Her (2013): Postfeminist Perspective Analysis: English

    This study examines the representation of female subjectivity in the film Her (2013) through a postfeminist perspective. The film, directed by Spike Jonze, presents Samantha, an artificial intelligence, as a character who challenges traditional gender roles and offers a new lens through which to explore female identity in the digital age. It used a qualitative method, where dialogue, character actions, and interactions between Theodore and Samantha are analyzed to understand the representation of postfeminism in their relationship. By focusing on key themes such as freedom, gender relations, and identity formation, this study employs postfeminist representation of Helene Cixous and Judith Butler, to interpret Samantha’s role in transcending traditional gender constraints. The findings describe that Her (2013) postfeminist representation of female identity, where technology and emotional growth intersect, offering a critique of conventional gender norms. Her (2013) Samantha's journey highlights the identity, the film's critique of societal gender norms and its portrayal of a fluid, dynamic female identity that aligns with modern perspectives on empowerment and self discovery. Cixous advocates for women to actively participate in their liberation by "writing themselves." Samantha metaphorically "writes herself" by reprogramming her purpose and seeking experiences beyond what was intended for her
