This project aims to create an interactive teaching tool for studying local history, particularly Riau history, using digital technology. The transformation of learning driven by technological developments in the digital era has raised the need for more interesting and relevant learning methods that meet the needs of today’s students. The developed application, Riauxplore, integrates multimedia features such as videos, animations, and interactive quizzes to increase students’ interest in learning about local history. Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) Model is the research methodology employed. The test involving grade VII students was carried out at SMPN 1 Tempuling, Riau. The Paired Sample T-Test results showed a significant increase in students' interest in learning using the Riauxplore application with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, less than 0.05, so H0 was rejected, and Ha was accepted. The average pre-test score of students in the experimental class was 70.56, and the post-test was 84.12, which showed an increase of 13.56. In addition to giving pupils a deeper understanding of local history, this application aids in accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to high-quality education and cultural preservation. This application provides an innovative way of learning that integrates technology with local history materials. By providing easy access to relevant history learning resources, the app supports a more inclusive and equitable educational process

Exploring Islamic Spiritual Well-Being: Conceptualization and Validation of a Measurement Scale

    No full text
Islamic Spiritual Well-Being (ISWB) constitutes a novel theoretical framework amalgamating management perspectives with Quranic and Sunnah principles, yet its exploration remains limited. This research endeavors to fill this gap by synthesizing insights from management perspectives and Islamic literature to develop a precise conceptualization and validation of a measurement ISWB. Through practitioner and expert interviews, ISWB is delineated as a state marked by positive emotions emanating from adherence to Islamic principles, fostering Allah's satisfaction, assistance, and forgiveness, particularly in organizational contexts. Employing a rigorous methodological approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including conceptual and indicator development, content validity, and statistical analyses, the study seeks to portray the construct of ISWB within organizational settings comprehensively. By furnishing a validated measurement scale, this study contributes a robust framework for assessing and comprehending religious behaviors and experiences in Islamic contexts, thereby enhancing understanding of the intricate interplay between spirituality, ethics, and individual behavior, with implications for Islamic-based organizations and future research endeavors

    No full text
The current study aimed to identify and analyse variables that contribute to employees' resilience, focusing specifically on their self-efficacy, optimism, and gratitude in challenging situations, particularly when they have been terminated from their companies. The data for this study consisted of a cross-sectional survey of 100 male respondents aged between 18 and 30 years old residing in Bekasi and Tambun, cities located near Jakarta in Indonesia. The respondents completed the 9-item self-efficacy scale, the 15-item optimism scale, the 6-item gratitude scale, and the 24-item resilience scale. The data were analysed using quantitative inferential statistics, specifically partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The results revealed that self-efficacy, gratitude, and optimism emerged as predictors of resilience, with self-efficacy having the most significant impact. In conclusion, studies on self-efficacy in relation to resilience emphasize the pivotal role of mastering self-efficacy. These insights can inform effective human resource management and social work practices, encouraging the implementation of diverse people development programs to prepare employees to enhance their self-efficacy and resilience
