    Developing Junior High School Students English Reading Workbook Based on Local Culture in The Merdeka Curriculum (Development research in the seventh-grade students of SMPN 3 Air Besar in the Academic year 2023-2024): English

    This study aimed to develop an English reading workbook based on local culture for students in SMPN 3 Air Besar following the Merdeka Curriculum. The research adopted the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, collecting data through questionnaires, interviews, and direct observations. Analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis, the results were used to revise the workbook and improve its effectiveness. The validation phase involved expert judgment from education, English language teaching, and local culture experts, indicating that "English Reading Workbook based on local culture" was culturally relevant, engaging, and effective in promoting English language learning. It serves as a valuable material for English language learning at SMPN 3 Air Besar, providing a culturally relevant and engaging way for students to learn English. The structured approach ensures the materials meet student needs and promote effective English language learning

    Improving Learning Independence of Elementary Students through the Two Stay Two Stray Method

    This study aims to find out how much the learning independence of students increases after the application of the Two Stay Two Stray method in the learning process. The type of research is Classroom Action research. Data collection methods through in-depth observation (observation) and documentation. The research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in student learning activities, namely in the aspect of student enthusiasm increased by 49%, seriousness in paying attention to the teacher's explanation increased by 40%. The cohesiveness of discussing in groups increased by 39%, and responding to questions increased by 52%. While in the aspect of learning independence shows an increase in the indicator of critical attitude in learning there is a significant increase of 53%. Creative learning indicators increased by 42%. Indicators of having innovation in learning increased by 84%, Indicators Not affected by other groups / not cheating increased by 34%. The indicator of not asking for help from other groups in solving problems increased by 42%. And the critical thinking indicator increased significantly by 42%. So it can be concluded that this method is able to increase student learning independenc

    The Use of Shoulder Box Media to Improve Children's Abilities in Recognizing Letters and Colors

    This study investigates the effectiveness of using shoulder box media to enhance children's abilities in recognizing letters and colors at RA Nurul Wahid Al-Wahyuni. The research employs a qualitative approach with pre-test and post-test designs. The sample consists of 30 kindergarten students aged 4-6 years old. Data were collected through observation and tests. The results show a significant improvement in children's abilities in recognizing letters and colors after using shoulder box media. The results of the research show that the use of soulder box media can increasechildren’s knowledge. The media used in learning is can active and guided game that fulfills the following elements: by using soulder box media the overall score for children who can guess letters is 7,33 and for children who can recognizing corors is 7,28. This indicates that shoulder box media can be an effective tool for enhancing early childhood education. The findings suggest that incorporating shoulder box media into early childhood education can positively impact children's learning outcomes. The interactive and hands-on nature of shoulder box media likely contributes to its effectiveness in engaging young learners. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of utilizing innovative teaching aids to enhance the learning experience of young children, particularly in the development of foundational skills such as letter and color recognition.     Impact of Attachment Between Mother and Child on Controlling Aggressive Behavior in Early Childhood

    Aggressive behavior in children is one of the behaviors that requires primary attention in children's education and care, because this behavior can endanger the child and those around him. However, this behavior can be controlled by parents, namely by providing attachment or emotional ties to the child. This research aims to determine the influence and role of attachment between children and mothers in controlling aggressive behavior in early childhood at RA Muslimat NU 1 Tulusrejo. This research method uses simple linear regression analysis with a quantitative approach involving 85 samples consisting of mothers of RA Muslimat NU 1 Tulusrejo students. Sampling using techniques of simple random sampling. This research shows a coefficient of determination value of 0.237 with a significance level (p) of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a correlation of (-0.487). The results of the study show that there is a negative relationship between attachment between child and mother and aggressive behavior in early childhood. This means that the stronger the level of attachment between child and mother, the lower the aggressive behavior in early childhood, especially at RA Muslimat NU 1 Tulusrejo. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of attachment between child and mother in controlling aggressive behavior in early childhood at RA Muslimat NU 1 Tulusrejo. This research highlights the importance of early relationship experiences and quality of parenting in preventing or reducing aggressive behavior in early childhood, focusing on the role of attachment between child and mother in controlling aggressive behavior through the formation of emotional bonds from an early age by emphasizing the importance of intervention at the child's developmental stag

    This study aims to analyze strategies for developing multiple intelligences in early childhood within the family environment. As a literature review, this research utilizes various sources such as books, journals, proceedings, and scientific articles related to multiple intelligences, early childhood development, and the role of family education. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results show that the development of multiple intelligences in early childhood within the family environment can be optimized through the active role of parents in stimulating various intelligences, including logical, linguistic, kinesthetic, social, and emotional intelligence. An approach focused on children's interests and talents, accompanied by activities such as educational games, motor skill exercises, and open communication, can support holistic and balanced intelligence development. The implementation of these strategies is expected to help young children achieve optimal development across various intelligence aspects

The focus of this research is directed at implementing the picture story method for the language development of children with speech delay, how the early speech development of children with speech delay occurs, how the picture story method is applied, and how the speech development of children with speech delay occurs through the picture story method. In general, the aim of this research is to implement the picture story method to improve the language intelligence of children with speech delay. The method used in this research is a case study method with a qualitative approach to obtain comprehensive information. The subject of this research was a four year old child with speech delay. The results of this research can be seen that the implementation of the picture story method can improve the language intelligence of children with speech delays

    Community Economic Development through a Sufism Perspective In Indonesian Islamic Boarding School

    This article explored how to develop a Sufism-based community economy at the Al- Hanif Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung City, Indonesia. The authors used qualitative field research with a descriptive analysis technique to describe economic development. The results of this study were one of the teachings highly emphasized in the Sufism-based Islamic boarding school conducted by Al-Hanif Lampung is the belief that religious perfection consists of three dimensions: Imān, Islām, and Iḥsān. Economic development in the Boarding School community empowerment process is carried out independently without assistance from the government through Bait al-Māl wa Tamwīl (BMT), drinking water companies, and schools. This Islamic Boarding School also applies the Islamic economic system in its business, such as the profit-sharing (muḍārabah) system, and prioritizes community empowerment to benefit the surrounding community. Moral Sufism values are implemented in the industrial economy, including the concepts of Ikhlāş ‘sincerely’, zuhd ‘asceticism’, takhalī (emptying the heart from despicable qualities), tahalī (filling the heart from commendable qualities), and tajalī (self-approach to Allah). The business aims to open up employment opportunities for the local community, which will later bring prosperity to the community; a profit-sharing system is also implemented in the trading system; whatever profits are obtained will be shared with the manager, and then the existing profits will be used for operations and activities that benefit the local community. Running an independent business will become a source of income for carrying out religious activities and become a job opportunity for the local community. Practicing the concept of Sufism in a modern ascetic manner is also hoped that it can foster spiritual values

    Islam and Eco-Theology: Perspectives and Strategies of Muhammadiyah in Addressing the Environmental Crisis

    This article explores the intersection of Islam and eco-theology within the context of Muhammadiyah. It is prompted by the current global environmental crisis, as the earth is facing various environmental challenges, disasters, and diseases. There is a growing awareness of the need to address these crises by drawing upon religious principles, a practice known as eco-theology. The article employs a qualitative research method using literature. Its goal is to delineate Islamic principles and eco-theology that can serve as guiding principles in natural resource management and to compare environmental theology from the perspective of the Muhammadiyah Central Environmental Council ‘Majelis Lingkungan Hidup Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah’. The authors summarize the concept of Islam and eco-theology, which is based on five sharia pillars: monotheism, caliphate, trustworthiness, fairness, and istişlaḥ. Drawing from these pillars, Muhammadiyah has formulated key policies for environmental da'wah, including environmental charity (waste sadaqah), Muhammadiyah's independent environmental audit, adiwiyata (environmental care) schools, water use guidelines, environmentally friendly practices in offices, and virtual environmental da'wah and campaigns

    Analysis of Teacher Readiness and Difficulties in Implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum in Junior High Schools

    The teacher's task in the independent learning curriculum was to prepare a learning implementation plan, compile material, prepare assessments, ensure changes in student behavior, and carry out evaluations. However, 52% of students visited by researchers received grades below standard. The article was to determine the obstacles and difficulties teachers that have in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum. The researchers used mixed methods approach. The respondents in this research were 66 teachers. Data collection techniques used surveys with instruments that have been developed. This instrument was assessed on a Likert scale of 1 to 5 points. Data collection used observation, interviews with 10 teachers, and documents related to research indicators. Analysis data technique used SPSS Version 25.0. Then data from observations, interviews and documentation were collected, reduced, coded, diversified and conclusions drawn. As a result, it was found that the learning implementation plan was incomplete, the teacher did not prepare the material himself, and the assessment method was not yet structured. It was also found that teachers lacked mastery of the material. From the survey it was found that 62.87% of teachers' learning implementation plans did not comply with implementation, 68.53% of teachers lacked mastery of the material, there were 72.10%, there were 56.92% changes in behavior and 54.20% did not evaluate learning
