    Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Materi Sifat-Sifat Cahaya Menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Taman Winaya

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Taman Winaya pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang sifat-sifat cahaya dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas.Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini ialah berupa ulangan harian (tes tulis) dari nilai tes tersebut maka dapat di ketahui sejauh mana peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Taman Winaya yang dengan jumlah 35 siswa, untuk rinciannya yaitu siswa laki-laki berjumlah 20 dan siswa perempuan berjumlah 15. Hasil dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa mulai dari kegiatan Pra Siklus dari 35 siswa hanya 6 siswa yang tuntas dengan presentase 17% dan pada kegiatan siklus I terjadi peningkatan siswa yang tuntas yaitu 20 siswa dengen presentase 57% kemudian pada siklus ke II  meningkat kembali yaitu ada sebanyak 32 siswa yang tuntas dengan presentase 91%. Maka didapat kesimpulan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya dapat meningkat dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi

    This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of discovery learning on circle material for Grade VIII junior high school students. Through the analysis of cycle 1 and cycle 2, this study revealed the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes on circle material and the impact of applying discovery learning. This learning aims to encourage students' active participation, collaboration in problem solving and application of mathematical concepts in the context of exploration and discovery. The results showed that students' mathematics learning outcomes improved significantly from Cycle 1 to Cycle 2, with the majority of students reaching the Good and Very Good categories in Cycle 2. This suggests that discovery learning is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, this study makes an important contribution to understanding how discovery learning can influence students' learning outcomes in mathematics

    Arabic Curriculum Design in the Merdeka Curriculum from the Perspective of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL)

    This paper aims to analyze the design of the Arabic language learning curriculum in the Merdeka curriculum. Researchers use the ACTFL standard in analyzing the content of the Arabic language curriculum in the aspect of competence and depth of mastery of Arabic formulated in the Merdeka curriculum. The purpose of this analysis is to compare Arabic learning outcomes in the Merdeka curriculum with ACTFL standards used internationally in learning foreign languages. The type of research used is qualitative research with a content analysis approach. Data collection methods with documentation. The data and data sources of this research are the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education 3211 of 2022 concerning the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education and Arabic for the Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah. Qualitative content analysis design of the Kripendorff model through the stages of selecting units, determining samples, recording data, reducing data, drawing conclusions, narrating research results. The results showed that the Arabic curriculum in the Merdeka curriculum based on ACTFL is divided into 2 aspects, namely: aspects of language skills and language proficiency levels. Language skills include: 1) language skills (language proficiency and language elements), 2) communication skills: interpersonal communication, presentation communication and interpretive communication, 3) cultural skills. The Arabic language learning curriculum design in the Merdeka curriculum is taught from phase A, the easiest level relevant to the ACTFL standard at the low beginner level and phase F is the highest level relevant to the ACTFL standard at the superior level. Analysis of Arabic learning outcomes in the Merdeka curriculum based on ACTFL standards is at the Novice Low to superior level

    In the current digital era, technology plays a crucial role in supporting learning assessment methods. The use of technological devices in learning has become a major requirement in learning. In evaluating Arabic language lessons, a teacher is required to be able to present learning material questions in an innovative evaluation media to meet learning targets. This research aims to describe evaluation in Arabic language learning using formative media in evaluating listening and reading skills. The research employs a reseach and development ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Data collection involves literature review, documentation, and questionnaires distributed to 34 students. The results of this research found that formative evaluation media can support and make it easier for teachers to evaluate Arabic language learning, especially listening and reading skills. The media's advantages include diverse question types, audio-visual features, login functionality, scoring for each question item, and time limits for completion. With this conclusion, this media can be a solution for teachers in evaluating students' Arabic language skills. This research is still limited to evaluating listening and reading skills only, so suggestions for further research are to use this media to evaluate speaking and writing skills

    This research discusses the management of Arabic language learning through the Qur'ani Cendikia Program (PCQ) based on George R. Terry's theory which was implemented at the Asy-Syadzili 2 Salaf Qur'ani Islamic Boarding School, with a focus on program management and the problems faced. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, carried out at the Salaf Qur'ani Asy-Syadzili 2 Islamic Boarding School in Malang, in 2024. The research subjects were Arabic Language Teachers. The informants were Islamic boarding school administrators, teachers and students. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documents methods. Meanwhile, data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman analysis technique which consists of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal that Arabic language learning management is in accordance with George R. Terry's theory which includes planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The research results show that the implementation of the Cendikia Qurani Program (PCQ) is in accordance with George R Terry's management theory. Apart from that, there are also supporting factors such as support from Islamic boarding schools and the quality of teachers. Research on a program with management theory is still rare, it is hoped that this research can be developed by future researchers

    In the era of globalization, mastering Arabic has become increasingly important as an international language used  in  many  religious,  academic,  and  professional  contexts. The background of this study centers around the growing importance of mastering Arabic in the era of globalization. There for, this study aims to enhance students' Arabic language skills at exploring the effectiveness of the mimicry and memorizing method in teaching of tamrin lughoh at the Al Iman boarding school. The problem is the low ability of students in speaking Arabic and lack of interest and motivation during the learning process in the classroom. The method used quantitative quasi-experimental method with pre-test and post-test design on two groups: experimental group and control group. The results showed a significant improvement in learning tamrin lughoh and improving students' language skills after the application of the Mim-Mem method. The mean score of the experimental group increased from 21.45 to 27.35, while the control group only increased from 21.25 to 26.45. This shows that the Mim-Mem method is effective in learning tamrin lughoh and improving students' language skills. Researchers suggest that future research places more emphasis on implementation and focuses on increasing the achievement of the values and ultimate goals of good Arabic language learning

    Promoting Young Learners’ English Vocabulary Acquisition Using Picture Word Inductive Model Focusing On Indonesian Culture: English

    This study aims to analyze the utilization of the Picture word inductive model focusing on Indonesian culture to improve the English vocabulary acquisition ability of grade 5 students at Ban Erawan school, Thailand. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design type involving two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The researcher collected quantitative data by distributing pre-test and post-test to 30 students in the experimental and control groups. The researcher analyzed the data obtained from the post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group using the Mann-Whitney test on the SPSS application. From the results of the quantitative analysis, it is known that there is a difference in vocabulary acquisition between the experimental group and the control group with the significant level p<0,05 (p=.000). This suggest that Picture Word Inductive model focusing on Indonesian culture was proven to improve students' English vocabulary acquisition.  In addition, students gave positive responses during data collection. The selection of learning media that is interesting and favored by students can facilitate the learning process of students and increase student motivation

    Teachers are expected to possess a diverse range of skills and qualities, including personal, scientific, technical, social, and spiritual proficiencies, all crucial for their profession. This encompasses expertise in their subject matter, understanding of students' needs, fostering educational growth, and continuous self-development alongside professional advancement. This study aims to evaluate how teachers' ability to manage their classrooms impacts students' enthusiasm for learning, using a quantitative method, specifically a correlational approach. Data was gathered through questionnaires and documentation, utilizing a Likert scale to assess teacher competencies, classroom management, and student interest in learning. The research focused on fourth-grade students at MI NU Sumber Agung, employing cluster sampling to select participants. Statistical analysis indicated a significant influence, with F. count > F. table (15.886 > 3.30). These results confirm that both teacher competence and effective classroom management play vital roles in shaping the learning enthusiasm of fourth-grade students at MI NU Sumber Agung

    Improving Students’ English-Speaking Skills Through Project Video: English

    The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of implementing English-speaking learning through video projects. This study employed a quasi-experimental approach, with one group undergoing pre-test and post-test experiments. The study was done in 12 meetings with 36 English-speaking students from class X IPA during the third odd semester of the academic year 2023-2024. The study will run from August 2023 until November 2023 at SMAN 14 Depok. Data were acquired by observation, documentation, and a speaking exam. The data was analyzed using a two-sample paired t-test for the mean. The study found that individual video projects can improve students' engagement in speaking sessions. In addition, pupils find it easier to generate speaking ideas. As a result, pupils' English writing skills improved more than before the video project work was established. The t-test results indicate that individual video projects can increase English speaking skills, as t-Stat < t-table (10.62922427 < 2.030107928)
