The findings shows that, curriculum planning which begins with strategic planning, program planning, and learning activity planning; implementing of curriculum; curriculum implementation  in learning activities includes the diniyah program and tahfidz program which are classified into three levels of basic classes, tahsin, and tahfidz; and evaluation of the curriculum with daily, weekly and monthly evaluations, with the aim of achieving better results in memorizing the Qur'a

Analisis Fuqarāʾ Dalam Surah al-Nur Ayat 32: Kajian Tafsir Al-Munīr Perspektif Morfologi Derivarif dan Semantik

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the term "fuqarāʾ" in Surah an-Nur, verse 32, which relates to the encouragement of marriage even under conditions of poverty. The research background focuses on how poverty is often cited as a reason to delay marriage, despite Islam encouraging believers to marry, accompanied by the promise that Allah will provide for them. The study employs Stephen Ullmann’s historical-semantic approach to examine how the meaning of "fuqarāʾ" has evolved within social, cultural, and religious contexts, supported by interpretations from classical and contemporary exegesis. A descriptive-analytical qualitative method is applied to explore shifts in the term’s meaning. The research addresses a gap in linguistic studies, as limited attention has been given to the semantic aspects of the word "fuqarāʾ" in this context. Findings reveal that the term has undergone semantic narrowing, primarily referring to financial incapacity in marriage, but also shows semantic broadening to include mental and spiritual incapacity. The study reinforces that poverty is not a valid reason to delay marriage in Islam, as Allah promises sustenance to those who marry with sincere intentions

Kiai, Religious Authority, and Dynamics of Ngumbah Keris Tradition in Java, Indonesia

    No full text
The ngumbah keris tradition is recognized as a practice aimed at warding off bad luck through a series of specific rituals that incorporate mantras and offerings. This study explores the responses of kiai langgar to the ngumbah keris ritual using ethnographic methodology. Data were collected through purposive sampling, in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The analysis adhered to Miles and Huberman's interactive model, which encompasses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supplemented by triangulation to ensure both validity and reliability. Max Weber's theory of charismatic authority provided the theoretical framework for this study, which is crucial for understanding how kiai langgar exercise their authority to mediate between traditional practices and religious principles. This framework highlights a dualistic response: kiai langgar aligned with Nahdlatul Ulama view the ritual as a means of seeking divine blessings, provided it is in accordance with Islamic teachings. In contrast, kiai langgar associated with Muhammadiyah classify the ritual as bid'ah (innovation) and superstition. The findings indicate that the negotiation of religious and cultural values is significantly shaped by the charismatic authority of the kiai langgar, influencing community perceptions and practices. This study deepens the understanding of the complex interplay between traditional rituals and Islamic teachings within rural Javanese communities, underscoring the role of kiai langgar as cultural brokers and agents of social change

The proposed study will examine the legal protections afforded to insurance policyholders if their insurance provider declares bankruptcy. 2) In accordance with Case Decision No. 389/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2020/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst., this research will analyze and determine the legal standing of policyholders regarding requests to postpone debt payment obligations resulting from bankruptcy. With a focus on both statutes and concepts, this study follows a normative juridical research methodology. According to the research, Article 53 of Law Number 40 of 2014 on Insurance provides legal protections for policyholders of insolvent insurance companies. In the same decision, the Panel of Judges confirmed that PT. Kresna Life Insurance (in PKPU) and all its creditors are bound by a settlement agreement, which includes mechanisms that protect policyholders from insolvency, such as actio pauliana, alignment of receivables, and settlement (peace). Law No. 37 of 2004 on Bankruptcy and Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) states that the signing of the peace agreement will officially end the PKPU. Additionally, in the same decision, insurance policyholders are considered preferred creditors in requests for the deferral of debt payment obligations due to bankruptcy. Due to the specifics of their receivables, certain creditors are required by law to be paid first before others. These creditors are known as preferred creditors, who have special rights under the law, giving them priority over other creditors based on the nature of their receivables

Analysis of Factors Affecting the Human Development Index in Papua Province Using the Geographically Weighted Panel Regression Model

    No full text
The level of human quality development between regions or countries can be measured using the Human Development Index (HDI) value. The higher the value of the HDI, the better the quality of human development in the region. Some variables affect the value of the HDI. This study will test six independent variables using the Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) method. This GWPR method combines panel data regression with the Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) method. This GWPR method combines the dimensions of location and time to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see which variables have a significant effect on the value of the HDI in Papua Province. By using panel data regression, the best model that can be formed is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). However, the FEM model that was formed did not meet the heteroscedasticity assumption test on the residuals, so further modeling was carried out using the GWPR model. GWPR modeling on this data uses a kernel weighting function, whereas previously, data transformation was carried out by the concept of the FEM model. The GWPR model with the best kernel weighting function is fixed exponential. In selecting the best model based on the coefficient of determination , the GWPR model is better than the FEM model. Regarding the significance of model parameters, nine groups of districts/cities based on independent variables significantly affect the HDI. In all districts/cities of Papua Province, the per capita expenditure variable significantly affects the HDI's value

    No full text
The development of students’ social skills is critical since they influence their academic performance and achievement.  School provides optimal environment for students to learn these skills.  Even though social skills are critical, there is still a lack in past research that examines the aspects that contribute to the development of students' social skills, particularly in school. Recognising the importance of this, the focus of this study is to identify characteristics that influence the development of social skills from a social cognitive perspective. This study sought to investigate the impact of emotional intelligence, teacher-student connections, student voice, and friendship quality on students’ social skills at school. The method utilised was a survey with multistage random sampling. The study sample comprised of 1012 students aged 11 to 19 who were recruited at random from various schools in major Indonesian cities. The research instruments used in this study were emotional intelligence scale, teacher-student relationship scale, student voice scale, friendship quality scale, and social skills scale. The analysis technique used is the SEM model (structural equation model) with the Variance based matric structural equation modelling (VB-SEM) structural equation model. The results showed emotional intelligence, teacher-student relationships, student voice, and friendship quality had in impact on students’ social skills
