    Fostering Environmental Ethics: The Role of Integrated Digital and Eco-Literacy in Islamic Education

    The accelerating advancement of digital technology and artificial intelligence in the Fourth Industrial Revolution demands Islamic Education (PAI) to develop students’ digital competence and critical engagement. Simultaneously, worsening environmental degradation highlights the urgent need for educational models that integrate Islamic theological values with eco-literacy to foster ethical and sustainable behavior. This study examines the effectiveness of integrating digital literacy and eco-literacy into the Islamic Education (PAI) curriculum to transform the values of tawḥīd into students’ environmental ethics in Madrasah Aliyah across Tegal Regency. The study is grounded in the context of global environmental crises and the dynamics of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which require Islamic education to produce a generation that is not only faithful but also environmentally responsible and digitally adaptive. The purpose of this research is to measure the effectiveness of the integration model in enhancing students’ understanding of tawḥīd, environmental attitudes, and environmentally ethical behavior, as well as to assess the role of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the learning process. A quasi-experimental method using a pretest–posttest control group design was employed with 240 students assigned to experimental and control groups. Instruments included a tawḥīd comprehension test, an environmental attitude scale, behavioral observations, and a digital literacy assessment. The findings reveal significant improvements in all three variables in the experimental group compared to the control group, with tawḥīd comprehension serving as a partial mediator between digital literacy and environmental behavior. AI-based tools enhanced student engagement and personalized learning, effectively supporting the internalization of Islamic values. These results reinforce the theoretical framework of integrating digital literacy and eco-literacy as an innovative educational approach in Islamic Education and highlight its potential as a pedagogical strategy responsive to technological advancements and contemporary environmental challenges

    The Influence of Implementing Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes Assisted by Dakonmatika Learning Media

    Students' motivation to study mathematics was essential for improving their learning outcomes in the subject. Integrating the cooperative learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) with the Dakonmatika learning media represents an innovative blend of group learning and the traditional Indonesian game of Dakon or Congklak. This research aims to determine the effect of using the SFAE learning model assisted by Dakonmatika media on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The study employs a quantitative method with a Quasi-Experimental design in the form of The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were 54 students from Muhammadiyah 2 Elementary School in Sorong City, divided into two classes: an experimental class of 29 students and a control class of 25 students. The research findings indicated that, based on the previously described data analysis and discussion of the multiple linear regression test, a significance value of 0.019 < 0.05 was obtained. According to the decision-making criteria, H0 was rejected. Moreover, from the t-test table, the calculated value (2.477) was greater than the table value (2.05553), meaning that t_calculated > t_table. It implied that the application of the SFAE learning model with the assistance of Dakonmatika media has a significant impact on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 2 Elementary School in Sorong City. The implication of this study was that the integration of the Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) learning model with daconmatics media has great potential in improving the quality of mathematics learning in schools

    This study aims to determine the paradigm of weton calculation in marriage in Balong Besuk Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency. In addition, it is also to find out what factors cause the calculation of weton in the community. This research includes field research using qualitative methods. The data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data sources consist of Primary Data: Primbon Jawa Books, interviews with local community leaders, and the people involved, as well as Secondary Data sourced from books and scientific works. The conclusion from the conclusion is that the weton calculation that occurred in Balong Besuk Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency is still being carried out. The factors that influence one of the most prominent is to maintain the legacy of the ancestors or ancestors. From the phenomena that occur. Giving rise to pros and cons, more or less there are people who practice and some do not. From the results of the research above, the researcher concluded that the calculation of weton in marriage from an Islamic law perspective is permissible if it does not conflict with the Qur'an and Sunnah and prioritizes the benefit of the community as well as tolerance in behavior

    Comparison of the Legal Construction of Hadhanah Rights in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Indonesia

    Hadhanah is an act that must be carried out by their parents, because without hadhanah it will result in the child becoming abandoned and his life will be wasted. Fiqh scholars agree that the principle of caring and educating is an obligation for parents, because if children are still young, it will have a damaging effect on the child and their future can even threaten the existence of their soul. This study aims to investigate and analyze the protection of hadhanah rights in three countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Indonesia. This research will use normative research methods. The results of this research are hadhanah rights in Islam in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Indonesia. Saudi Arabia, with its legal system based on the Hambali madhhab, emphasizes the protection, education, and custody of children supervised by Islamic authorities. Turkey, with its more moderate civil law, ensures the fulfillment of children's rights in divorce decisions, with attention to the protection, care, and education of children. In Indonesia, the Marriage Law and the Compilation of Islamic Law affirm the protection and maintenance of children in accordance with the principle of Islamic hadhanah rights. Turkey is considered more responsive to the changing times by integrating modern values in the protection of children's rights, followed by Indonesia's progressive adaptation. The contribution of this research is that this analysis is expected to provide in-depth insights into the development and implementation of Islamic family law in various countries with different backgrounds

    Differences in the Application of Problem-Based Learning and Discovery Learning Models on Students’ Mathematical Problem-Solving Abilities from Mathematic Initial Abilities Students of 1 Mamosalato State Senior High School

    This research was intended to clearly describe the differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities about initial mathematical abilities by applying the Problem-Based Learning and Discovery learning models. The research design employed a quantitative approach. The sample of this research was students of SMA Negeri 1 Mamosalato, Grade XI MIA 1, as the first and second experiment classes were XI MIA 2. This research applied an experimental method with a factorial design of 2 x 3. The instrument was administered to collect data to test initial mathematic ability and mathematical problem-solving abilities—data was analyzed in two ways: ANOVA and Tukey test (LSD test). The findings of the research were (1) there were differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities by applying the Problem-based Learning Model and Discovery Learning Model, (2) there was no interaction between the learning model and initial mathematical abilities on mathematical problem-solving abilities, (3) there was difference in students mathematical problem-solving abilities by applying Problem-based Learning Model and Discovery learning Model, especially to high initial mathematical abilities, middle initial mathematical abilities, as well as low initial mathematical abilities

    Exploring The Impact of Guided Inquiry Learning with a Scientific Approach on Mathematical Conceptual Understanding

    This research explores the impact of Guided Inquiry Learning-oriented learning with a scientific approach on understanding mathematical concepts of PGMI UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu students. The research design uses an experimental method with an experimental group and a control group. The results of the analysis show that students who were taught using Guided Inquiry Learning-oriented learning experienced a significant increase in understanding mathematical concepts compared to learning without a Guided Inquiry Learning orientation, even though both used a scientific approach. A significant value of less than 0.05 in a statistical test indicates that the difference can be considered statistically significant. However, the results of further analysis showed that there was no significant difference in increasing understanding of mathematical concepts between classes that used the Scientific Approach and the control group in two particular classes (Class=2 and Class=3). A P-value greater than 0.05 in statistical analysis indicates that the results are not statistically significant. Thus, although there was a significant increase in understanding of mathematical concepts in the group that implemented Guided Inquiry Learning-oriented learning, this research also showed that there was no significant difference in this increase between this group and the control group in two particular classes. These results provide further understanding about the effectiveness of certain learning methods in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts

    This research was motivated by the phenomenon of implementing the minimum competency assessment (AKM) in class V at SD Negeri 01 in Karanganyar Regency. The researcher discussed in depth the numeracy literacy skills and challenges faced by grade 5 students in working on minimum competency assessment (AKM) mathematics questions at SD Negeri 01 in Karanganyar Regency as well as the opportunities gained from the results of the minimum competency assessment test (AKM) at SD Negeri 01 in Karanganyar Regency. The aim of this research is to 1) describe numeracy literacy and the challenges faced in working on minimum competency assessment (AKM) questions in mathematics for class V students at SD Negeri 01 in Karanganyar Regency, 2) describe the opportunities obtained from the results of the minimum competency assessment test (AKM) mathematics for class V students at SD Negeri 01 in Karanganyar Regency. This research method uses qualitative research using a case study approach. MThe results of this research show: 1) numeracy literacy skills are still low. This is proven by the average score of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) test results, which is 28.24 out of a total of 17 students. The challenges faced are that students are using laptops for the first time in the test, students still cannot understand the questions in the AKM test, students are still difficulty in determining the formula used to solve the problem, and the material that has been taught by the teacher is still not well understood, 2) the opportunity for the Basic Competency Assessment (AKM) test can be used as an evaluation for teachers in making learning improvements for students to improve their abilities numeracy literacy. This implies improving the learning process, increasing evaluation and measurement as well as individual intervention and support for students

    Performance Quantile Regression and Bayesian Quantile Regression in Dealing with Non-normal Errors (Case Study on Simulated Data)

    This research discusses the performance of quantile regression and Bayesian quantile regression methods. Quantile regression uses parameter estimation by maximizing the value of the likelihood function, while Bayesian quantile regression uses parameter estimation with the Bayesian concept. The Bayesian concept in question looks for solutions from the posterior distribution with Gibbs Sampling. The purpose of the study is to compare the two methods. The data used is simulated data with a total of 100 generated data. The results obtained by the Bayesian quantile regression method are superior to the indicator used MSE with the result of 1.7445. The smallest MSE value is obtained in the model that is in quantile of 0.

    Development and Initial Validation of a Career Preference Scale (CPS-15F): An Underlying Model of Holland's Theory for Measuring Career Interests

    The aim of this study is to develop a career preference scale that requires the study of existing theories of occupational interest evaluation (Strong, Kuder, Holland and Rothwell Miller) while analyzing their structures, their item selection methods and the response methods proposed in this type of construct, This qualitative analysis enabled us to conclude that Holland's method of classifying professional interests is the best suited to the context of the evaluation in order to establish an underlying model of 15 sub-factors making it possible to measure Holland's inter-dimensional relationships and to deduce clear preferences from them on the basis of a suitable structure and response mode, and to interpret the results pertinently thanks to the 24 professional profiles presented in this study. We also studied the psychometric qualities of the career preference scale developed, which was administered to a sample of 628 participants. The validity of the scale was verified empirically by measuring item-test correlations and internal consistency independently for each sub-factor, Fidelity was verified using a test-retest with a sample of 50 participants, while concurrent validity was verified by relating the dimensions of interest to other information (gender and field of study of the students) to check the relationship with the literature. These procedures demonstrated satisfactory psychometric qualities and enabled six items on the scale to be improved for a more relevant assessment and to be used in the school and professional environment

    Factors Influencing Acceptance and Use of Online Counseling Technology among Thai Psychologists and Mental Health Counsellors

    The rapid growth of online counseling (OC) services for mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic prompted concerns regarding its effectiveness compared to in-person counseling. Psychologists have expressed uncertainties about OC's efficacy and doubts about their competence in using it. As a result, psychologists have been hesitant to embrace OC methods and supporting technologies. Therefore, it has become crucial to study the factors that influence the acceptance and use of OC technology, enabling psychologists to develop the necessary skills and confidence to utilize inpatient treatment effectively. This study used quantitative research with survey research to study factors influencing 406 Thai counselors' use and acceptance of technology in online counseling, and the model was analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results showed that IOC are positively influenced by SI (β= .413, p<.001, t = 9.95) ATOC (β= .398, p<.001, t = 7.09), and PE (β= .114, p<.05, t = 2.01). While IOC is negatively influenced by FC (β= -.117, p<.05, t = -2.08). Furthermore, UOC was positively influenced by IOC (β= .511, p<.001, t = 9.64). On the contrary ATOC negatively affected UOC (β= -.215, p<.001, t = -3.77), indicating that it exerts a partial mediation effect on the relationship between PE, SI, FC, ATOC and UOC. The study represents a pioneering study on UTAUT use in determining technologies' influence on online mental health counseling in Southeast Asia. The findings could offer valuable perspectives on how to increase the uptake of online counseling among psychologists by elevating the perceived advantages of the service, assisting in the creation of more efficient, organizations or authorities that foster positive attitudes toward the use of online counseling among psychologists, and fostering increased acceptance and usage of online counseling going forward
