Reconstruction of Islamic Education Management Based on the Philosophy of Science: A Literature Study on Epistemological and Axiological Implications

    No full text
This study aims to reconstruct the paradigm of Islamic education management through a philosophy of science approach by emphasizing epistemological and axiological implications as the foundation for the development of managerial theory and practice. The method employed is a systematic literature review (SLR), examining a range of national and international studies published between 2019 and 2025 that are relevant to the integration of the philosophy of science in Islamic education management. The findings indicate that the reconstruction of Islamic education management should be grounded in three principal dimensions: ontological, epistemological, and axiological. Ontologically, Islamic education is oriented toward the formation of insan kamil, encompassing spiritual, moral, and social wholeness. Epistemologically, managerial processes should integrate revelation (naqli), rationality (aqli), and empirical experience in policy formulation and decision-making. Axiologically, moral, spiritual, and humanitarian values must serve as concrete and measurable indicators of institutional success. This study proposes a conceptual model of value-based management and philosophy-informed governance that is not only operationally effective but also philosophically meaningful and transcendent. Accordingly, this research contributes both academically and practically to the development of an Islamic education management paradigm that is adaptive to the challenges of modernity while remaining firmly rooted in its foundational scholarly traditions and divine values

Development of an Integrated Learning Evaluation Management Model for Early Childhood Islamic Education

    No full text
Evaluation in Islamic Early Childhood Education (IECE) plays a crucial role in ensuring the holistic development of children, encompassing cognitive, social-emotional, moral, spiritual, and motor aspects. However, evaluation practices in many IECE institutions remain fragmented, unsystematic, and insufficiently integrated into learning management. This article aims to develop an integrated learning evaluation management model that aligns with the characteristics and principles of Islamic early childhood education. The study employs a qualitative approach through library research, analyzing relevant literature on learning evaluation, early childhood education, educational management, and Islamic education. The findings indicate that an integrated evaluation management model consists of four main stages: evaluation planning, implementation of authentic and formative assessment, data analysis and documentation of children’s development, and follow-up actions for improving learning quality. This model emphasizes child-centered evaluation, continuous assessment, parental involvement, and the integration of Islamic values in the evaluation process. The proposed model is expected to serve as a conceptual framework for educators and institutions in managing learning evaluation more systematically, effectively, and sustainably within Islamic early childhood education settings

    No full text
This research is motivated by the low interpersonal communication skills of students caused by teacher-centered learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning method on students' interpersonal communication skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design approach, with a research sample of 36 students, divided into an experimental class using the NHT method and a control class using conventional learning methods. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire, while data analysis used an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class was 71.83, higher than the control class of 67.72. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.00 which is smaller than 0.05, so there is a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, these results indicate that the application of the NHT method has a significant effect on improving students' interpersonal communication skills. The NHT method has an influence in increasing student activity, interaction, and cooperation

The analysis results concluded that personal experiences, films, YouTube, novels, and peer experiences are the main sources for students in completing short story project assignments. Students can get the idea to write the short story from them. It means that the teacher must know the media of learning in writing class especially to give the task of short story project so that students can use the inspiration in writing. This finding explains that educators must teach a comprehensive understanding of the essence of the material to students

    No full text
This study examines the influence of character education and attitude cultivation on early childhood social-emotional development in Garut District, Indonesia. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 47 Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions implementing Character-Based Holistic Education (CBHE). Questionnaires were distributed, and data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS, including validity, reliability, t-tests, and F-tests. The findings reveal a strong correlation between character education and social-emotional development (r = 0.833), and between attitude cultivation and social-emotional development (r = 0.776). When combined, both factors have a significant influence (r = 0.856; Fcount = 53.920 > Ftable = 3.21). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.733) shows that 73.3% of social-emotional development is influenced by these two factors. The results support Erikson’s psychosocial theory, Bandura’s social learning theory, and Goleman’s emotional intelligence framework, emphasizing that moral guidance and positive modeling enhance empathy, self-regulation, and social competence. This study provides empirical evidence on the integrated role of character education and attitude formation in early childhood education and offers valuable insights for educators and policymakers to promote holistic, emotionally intelligent learning environments
