POTENSI BAHAYA SALINITAS DAN BAHAYA ALKALINITAS SUMBER DAYA AIR TANAH UNTUK IRIGASIDI KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO
The quality of groundwater that is used as an irrigation water affects soil and plants on agricultural land. The quality of groundwater as an irrigation water can be identified based on the potential of salinityhazard and alkalinity hazard. The objectives of this study was to identify potential of salinity hazards and alkalinityhazards of groundwater resources used as sources of irrigation water in the Mojokerto Regency. This research was conducted on 20 production wells with a depth of 100–128 m below ground level. The physico-chemical parameters in the identified groundwater samples include: water temperature, pH, total dissolved solids, electrical conductivity, and the concentration of ions dissolved in water (Na+, Ca2 +, Mg2 +). Salinity hazard potential was determined based on the calculation of the value of electrical conductivity at 25˚C, while the potentialof alkalinity hazard was determined based on the sodium adsorption ratio. Based on this research, it can be described that ground water used as an irrigation water source in the study area in general (90% of the total research sample) has the potential of medium salinity hazard and low alkalinity hazard in the C2-S1 irrigation water class. Irrigation water in this class can be given to plants with moderate tolerance to salt and can be used for irrigation in almost all types and conditions of the soil
Realisasi Alat Ukur Suhu Dan Kelembapan Berbasis Raspberry Pi
AbstractTemperature and humidity are one of the most frequently measured parameters. Measurements of temperature and humidity parameters are very useful for studying a physical, chemical, or biological process. In the last few decades, global warming or global warming has become a global issue related to the environment where pollution and damage to the environment are factors that cause high temperatures in the earth. Therefore the main focus of this research is about measuring the temperature and humidity of a room with a dimension of 15 x 10 m whether it is necessary to have additional cooling in the room or not to know the level and level of linearity of the DHT 11 sensor that will be used to measure two parameters at once, with a microcontroller in the form of a Raspberry Pi. Measurements were made by taking 30 samples for 30 minutes, the results displayed from the monitor connected from Raspberry Pi showed that the DHT 11 sensor was not linear, namely the temperature R2 = 0.8221, while the humidity R2 = 0.8893 was due to the influence of temperature from outside and indoors and the influence of the quantity of humans in the room. The selection of advertising media in the development and business competition is very important. It determines that criteria and the alternative for each person is different. It makes decisions are very difficult because we have a lot of choices, time and cost.Decisions that are fast and appropriate in determining the best print media as a promotion, which is in accordance with the needs and desires of the advertiser.Selection of Analytical Hierarchy and Weighted Product ) method as a tool to assist in making decisions with calculations done by using : Analytical Hierarchy Process to get criteria weight and continue using the WP method. Both methods can provide recommendations in the selection of print media as a medium of promotion
Efektifitas dan Efisiensi Penggunaan Klorinator sebagai Sarana Pelarut Disinfektan di Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM)
Water is an important substances in the food industry. The quality of water that is used in the small Industry (UKM) generally has bad quality. This is caused by lack of knowledge and cost. The aim of the study was to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of using chlorinator as disinfectan (chlorine) solvent in the small industry (UKM). This study used complete randomized design with 2 repetitions and analyzed water quality before and after treatment. The parameters that was used was coliform and eschericia coli (e. coli) contaminant and total chlorine in the water. The cost efficiency was calculated with evaluate chlorine/m3. Results showed a decrease of coliform and E.coli (p<0.05), from 2,3 x105 cfu/100 ml to 0 cfu/ml for both. Furthermore, total chlorine after treatment showed no decrease significantly (p<0.05). The cost efficiency of using chlorinator was cheap, just Rp. 916/m3. The use of chlorinator was effective to decrease total microbiology contaminant and can keep total chlorine concentration in the standard of water quality for hygiene and sanitation. Potensi Radikalisme di Perguruan Tinggi (Studi Kasus di Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan)
Today the noble values of the Pancasila begin to fade because of the growth of fanatical attitudes towards certain groups, the emergence of various kinds of organizations with particular groups even in the name of Islam. Islam which teaches the values of glory such as; love of peace, love, mutual respect between one another religion, but religion is sometimes interpreted according to his will by certain groups as a foundation in launching his mission by approaching religious teachings by means of violence and coercion. Radicalism which was only directed at a less educated group of people, has now fallen to educated groups or students in universities. Some university leaders have indicated the involvement of students in radical understanding on campus. Because of concerns about the emergence of radical understanding in higher education institutions a few months ago the Minister of Technology Research and Higher Education Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasir gathered college leaders to declare against radicalism the campus. The purpose of this study is to further examine the potential of radicalism among Balikpapan State Polytechnic students, the object of this study is students especially students of internal organizational activists on campus or students of campus external organizational activists data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews then the data is processed. The results of this study indicate the existence of radicalism among students. From data obtained, radicalism among students is not formed from internal campus but formed through the activities of external organizations that are outside the campus. RANCANG BANGUN SYSTEM OTOMATISASI PENYIRAMAN DAN PEMUPUKAN TANAMAN DENGAN PENGONTROLAN SUHU DAN KELEMBABAN MEDIA TANAM
Cultivation of horticultural plants requires intensive care in the form of regular watering and fertilization in accordance with the planting media resistance and characteristics of the plants. The unavailability of appropriate information and the limited time to water and fertilize plants requires farmers to immediately switch to automation systems for watering and fertilizing plants. The provision of water and fertilizer to plants automatically controlled by the Arduino microcontroller based on data from the measurement / detection of temperature and humidity of the air around the plants by the DHT11 sensor becomes a solution to ease work and increase productivity. The automation system works based on several sensor information about the condition of the plant environment by controlling the Arduino microcontroller. Watering is caried out at least 2 times a day through the reading of temperature and air humidity by the DHT11 sensor, the reading of water content in the planting medium by soil moisture sensors, and the RTC as a limiting number of watering in one day. Analisis Kecepatan Angin Pesisir Pantai Monpera sebagai Sumber Energi Terbarukan Kota Balikpapan
Balikpapan sebagai salah satu kota di Kalimantan Timur, merupakan kota dengan karakteristik wilayah yang cukup unik dengan kondisi topografi wilayah yang terdiri dari daerah pesisir dengan daratan yang berbukit hingga potensi angin yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Berdasarkan data Bappeda kota Balikpapan menjelaskan bahwa topografi Balikpapan yang hampir seluruhnya berbukit (85%), serta ketinggian wilayah kota Balikpapan dari permukaan air laut berkisar 0–80 meter. Karakteristik wilayah, ketinggian daerah dari permukaan laut merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap gerak aliran udara yang ada sehingga mempengaruhi kecepatan angin yang dihasilkan di pesisir kota Balikpapan. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, hal ini menjadi sebuah objek penelitian kami dalam mengetahui seberapa besar potensi kecepatan angin di pesisir pantai MONPERA kota Balikpapan untuk menjadi sumber energi terbarukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan media alat yang menunjang dalam pengambilan data penelitian yaitu berupa turbin angin horizontal DC 12/24V 400W sehingga akan didapatkan hasil data berupa kecepatan angin, daya maksimum, daya nyata dan daya total yang diperoleh pada daerah tersebut yaitu kecepatan angin tertinggi sebesar 11.15 knot (5,66 m/s), daya maksimum sebesar 74,129 Watt, daya nyata sebesar 39,99 Watt, daya total sebesar 125,092 Watt dan daya output elektrik sebesar 27,18 Watt
PENGARUH FRAKSI BERAT FLY ASH PADA KOMPOSIT MATRIK SERBUK LIMBAH ALUMINIUM TERHADAP SIFAT KEKERASAN
This study aims to determine the effect of weight fraction of fly ash on the hardness properties of composite aluminum/fly ash. This research uses fly ash powder and aluminum waste powder is processed through water atomization method. Fly ash powder as much as 10%, 20%, and 30% of the weight fraction was mixed with powder from aluminum waste (size ≤ 53 μm). Each mixture is stirred using a mixer for 2 hours. A mixture of fly ash powder and powder from aluminum waste is uniaxially compressed at a pressure of 120 MPa and sintering in atmospheric environments with temperatures of 525 ℃, 550 ℃ and 575 ℃, then hardness testing. The test results show that along with the increase in the weight fraction of fly ash at the same temperature the hardness value decreases and the hardness value increases at a higher temperature. The highest hardness value is at sintering temperature of 525 °C with a weight fraction of 10% fly ash of 32.83 BHN, while the lowest hardness value is at a temperature of 575 °C with a weight fraction of 30% fly ash of 17.55 BHN
Analisis Pengaruh Arus Medan (id current axis) Terhadap Kecepatan Motor Induksi 3 Fasa Pada Pengaturan Menggunakan Metode Field Oriented Control (FOC)
Penggunaan motor induksi 3 fasa sebagai pengerak listrik sangat popular dikarenakan harga yang lebih murah, kontruksi kokoh dan bebas perawatan, akan tetapi memiliki karakteristik tidak linear sehingga susah dalam pengaturanya. Beberapa metode yang dikembangkan diharapkan mampu mendapatkan pengaturan yang efisien. Field Oriented Control (FOC) salah satu metode yang dikembangkan dalam pengaturan motor induksi, dengan menerapkan pengaturan koordinat dq arus medan(id) dan torsi(iq) dapat diatur secara terpisah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh arus medan (ids*) terhadap kinerja motor dengan pengaturan berbasis FOC. Hasil simulasi dapat diketahui bahwa semakin besar (ids*) berpengaruh pada putaran rotor yang akan turun, selain itu juga berpengaruh pada kinerja motor untuk mencapai kondisi steady dan overshoot dari respon motor tersebut. Untuk ids*=0.8A memerlukan waktu 1.06s untuk mencapai kondisi steady dengan overshoot mencapai 977.5 Rpm pada kecepatan konstan 350Rpm, ids*=1.6A memerlukan waktu 2.24s dengan overshoot mencapai 708 Rpm pada kecepatan konstan 350Rpm, ids*=4.1A memerlukan waktu 2.282s dengan overshoot mencapai 512.5 Rpm pada kecepatan konstan 330Rpm.
