Collaborative Demonstration Method: An Effective Strategy to Enhance Science Learning Outcomes in Grade 4
Get PDFThis study was motivated through the low science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students, caused by a lack of variety in teaching methods, which made the learning process monotonous and resulted in minimal interaction between teachers and students. The study aimed to improve fourth-grade students’ science learning outcomes through the application of the Collaborative Demonstration Method. The research was conducted on 24 fourth-grade students, consisting of 12 male and 12 female students, over two cycles that included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Data were collected through observation sheets, learning outcome tests, and student response questionnaires. The analysis showed that in Cycle I, the students’ average score was 69.5, with 16 students meeting the learning criteria and 8 students not yet meeting it, the highest score being 85 and the lowest 50. In Cycle II, all students achieved mastery, with an average score of 81.7, the highest score of 95, and the lowest 65. Thus, the application of the Collaborative Demonstration Method was proven effective in improving the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. Teachers are encouraged to implement the collaborative demonstration method in teaching, especially in science subjects, to enhance interaction, understanding, and student learning outcomes.

Get PDFThis study aims to determine the improvement of fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years through meronce activities using loose parts at the Kindergarten in Keledang, Samarinda. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. Classroom Action Research is research carried out in the classroom using actions to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in order to obtain better results. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this Classroom Action Research will use qualitative descriptive analysis. The research subjects were students aged 5-6 years at Keledang Kindergarten, Loa Janan Ilir District, Samarinda. To obtain valid results, research techniques are carried out using two cycle steps, and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the research results, it turns out that activities to improve children's fine motor skills through loose part activities in Keledang Saminda Kindergarten appeared to have increased in the good category in cycle I reaching 61%, while in cycle II it was 83%. The meronce activity using loose parts in group B at the Keledang Kindergarten, Loa Janan Ilir District, Samarinda, is very beneficial for students, so it can be used as a method of playing and learning to improve children's fine motor skill

Get PDFRendahnya hasil belajar pada materi geometri dapat dikarenakan sulitnya Siswa memahami pelajaran matematika. Kemajuan teknologi belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan oleh Guru dalam pembelajaran sehingga menyebabkan Siswa menjadi bosan dan jenuh. Dalam pembelajaran matematika, Guru banyak menggunakan metode satu arah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika Siswa setelah melakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video dan pembelajaran konvensional pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 45 Samarinda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam bentuk tes dan observasi. Data hasil dari tes yang telah dilaksanakan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif meliputi rata-rata, standar deviasi, nilai maksimum, dan nilai minimum. Secara deskriptif, rata-rata untuk data hasil belajar matematika Siswa pada kelas yang menggunakan media video adalah 67 dengan nilai maksimum 94 sedangkan rata-rata kelas pada pembelajaran konvensional adalah 60 dengan nilai maksimum 82. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar pada kelas yang melakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional

Get PDFThis research aims to implement early childhood character education through the congklak game for children aged 5 - 6 years at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal 5 Samarinda Seberang kindergarten. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research method based on positivism or interpretive philosophy, used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The research subjects in this study were 6 students of Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal 5 Kindergarten. Based on the data obtained from the research results, it shows that the implementation of character education through the congklak game for early childhood at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal 5 Samarinda Seberang Kindergarten achieved the character of religious, honest, cooperative, disciplined, responsible development according to expectations after going through three assessments according to researcher analysis. Efforts are made by educators to strengthen children's character by using congklak game media through habituation, continuous example by applying congklak play to children by including in the learning plan to play congklak twice a week during the research. Improving Descriptive Text Writing Skills of 7th Grade Students of SMP Al Karomah Peterongan with Picture and Picture Learning Model
Get PDFThe aim of this study was to improve the descriptive writing skills of 7th-grade students at Al Karamah Junior High School using the picture and picture learning model. The research method used was classroom action research, conducted in two cycles including planning, action implementation, analysis, and reflection. The study involved 26 7th-grade students at Al Karamah Junior High School. The findings showed that the picture and picture learning model significantly enhanced the students' ability to write descriptive texts from the pre-cycle stage to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. The study concluded that the picture and picture learning model effectively enhance the descriptive writing skills of 7th-grade students at Al Karamah Junior High School, with students showing improved work quality and achievement, increasing from 26% before the intervention to 33% in cycle I and 88% in cycle II
Karakterisasi Membran Kitosan Kulit Udang-PVA dengan Variansi Karbon Aktif sebagai Filter Air
Get PDFKulit udang mengandung kitin yang dapat diolah menjadi kitosan dan digunakan bersama Polivinil Alkohol (PVA) dalam pembuatan membran filtrasi air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan membran berbasis kitosan dari limbah kulit udang dan PVA, dengan tambahan karbon aktif, sebagai filter air. Membran kitosan-PVA dibuat dengan variasi konsentrasi karbon aktif sebesar 0%, 1%, 2%, dan 3%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa membran dengan 1% karbon aktif memberikan hasil terbaik, dengan debit air sebesar 0,004 L/s untuk 1 liter pertama. Penambahan karbon aktif terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas membran dalam menyaring polutan, meskipun konsentrasi yang terlalu tinggi dapat menurunkan debit air dan porositas. Disimpulkan bahwa membran kitosan-PVA dengan karbon aktif memiliki potensi yang signifikan sebagai teknologi filter air yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas air tercemar
The Use of Estafet Writing Method in Learning Short Story Writing of Grade XI Students of Vocational School
Get PDFThis study aims to implement the estafet writing method to improve the short story writing skills of Grade XI students at SMK Kesehatan Madani Indonesia. The study employed a Classroom Action Research method conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation and interviews with teachers and students. The results showed that the implementation of the estafet writing method effectively improved students' short story writing skills. In the first cycle, student participation increased, although challenges remained in discussions and story structuring. In the second cycle, with smaller group formations and more focused themes, students demonstrated significant improvements in contribution, creativity, and the quality of their writing. The average student scores increased from the pre-cycle to the second cycle, with a completion rate reaching 100%. This method not only enhanced students' writing skills but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and active participation in learning
ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KESULITAN GURU DALAM MENGAJAR MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 1 SANGKULIRANG
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang, untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor kesulitan guru dalam mengajar mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang, serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana solusi/upaya terhadap kesulitan guru dalam mengajar mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah guru ekonomi dan informan tambahan sebanyak 5 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang berjalan normal, guru melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas sesuai dengan tuntunan kurikulum. Selain itu, faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan guru dalam mengajar mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Sangkulirang yaitu ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang masih sangat kurang memadai, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan serta penggunaan alokasi waktu. Untuk mengatasi permasalaha tersebut, guru melakukan berbagai upaya seperti memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah/lingkungan sekitar, membuat media pembelajaran sederhana, guru membuat diktat pelajaran ekonomi untuk siswa, menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi, serta mengupayakan semaksimal mungkin alokasi waktu yang tersedia.

PENGARUH ONLINE CUSTOMER REVIEW TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN DI MARKETPLACE SHOPEE (STUDI PADA MAHASISWA AKTIF PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS MULAWARMAN)
Get PDFOnline customer review dianggap merupakan salah satu faktor yang cukup penting dalam mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh online customer review terhadap keputusan pembelian di Marketplace Shopee. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 74 mahasiswa dari Pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2021. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan uji asumsi klasik sebagai uji prasyarat yang diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS.. Berdasarkan hasil peneliti diketahui bahwa nilai signifikan (0,000) < α (0,05), dan nilai thitung sebesar (23.339) > ttabel (1.29310) maka secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan. Dari hasil pengujian dan analisis tersebut dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu online customer review berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian.
