Pentingnya Kompetensi Komunikasi SDM Pendidikan dalam Mendukung Strategi Pemasaran Institusi
Global competition among educational institutions demands marketing strategies that rely not only on formal promotional efforts but also on the communication competence of human resources (HR). Lecturers, administrative staff, and public relations personnel play a pivotal role as the frontliners in conveying the institution’s values, both directly and through digital media. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design at a private university in East Kalimantan. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation of promotional activities, and documentation of institutional communication content. The analysis was conducted through data reduction, thematic categorization, and source triangulation. Three main aspects were identified as significant contributions of communication competence to institutional marketing strategies: (1) Effective interpersonal communication (85%) contributes to strengthening student loyalty and attracting prospective students; (2) Adaptive digital communication (78%) expands information outreach and enhances the institution’s reputation through social media, email marketing, and promotional videos; (3) Internal branding through communicative services (73%) shapes a positive public perception of the institution’s quality and work culture. Communication competence of educational HR plays a strategic role in shaping the institution’s image and competitiveness. Therefore, developing interpersonal and digital communication soft skills must be integrated into educational HR management policies in a sustainable manner
Implementasi Teaching At The Right Level Dalam Pembelajaran Matematika Di Kelas XI 4 SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda
Permasalahan keberagaman kemampuan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas XI-4 SMA Negeri 1 Samarinda menyebabkan ketimpangan partisipasi siswa selama kegiatan belajar, terutama ketika diterapkan diskusi kelompok heterogen. Siswa berkemampuan tinggi cenderung mendominasi, sementara siswa berkemampuan sedang dan rendah menjadi pasif. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan dan pencapaian hasil belajar secara merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar matematika melalui implementasi pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) yang dipadukan dengan strategi diferensiasi proses dan konten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kurt Lewin yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 37 peserta didik kelas XI-4, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah proses pembelajaran matematika pada materi statistika regresi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa asesmen diagnostik kognitif untuk pemetaan awal kemampuan siswa, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berdiferensiasi, serta asesmen formatif untuk mengukur hasil belajar tiap siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat peningkatan capaian belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan TaRL. Jumlah siswa dalam kategori “kurang” menurun drastis, sementara kategori “baik” dan “sangat baik” meningkat pada siklus II. Refleksi tindakan menunjukkan bahwa pengelompokan homogen berbasis kemampuan awal, disertai LKPD yang disesuaikan, mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang inklusif, adaptif, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan belajar siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menguatkan pentingnya pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebagai pendekatan yang berkeadilan dan mampu mengoptimalkan potensi peserta didik secara merata
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas V SDN 002 Samarinda Kota
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V di SDN 002 Samarinda Kota. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem based learning (PBL) (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru dan 20 peserta didik kelas V SDN 002 Samarinda Kota, terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setelah diterapkannya model Problem based learning (PBL), terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran terlihat perubahan positif dalam proses pembelajaran, di mana peserta didik tampak lebih antusias dan aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar. Perubahan proses tersebut turut berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik, dari kualifikasi cukup (C) yaitu 70% pada siklus I dan pada siklus II menjadi kualifikasi baik (B) yaitu 90%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem based learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN 002 Samarinda Kota

The Transmigration of the Javanese Ethnic Group in Bangun Rejo Village, Kutai Kartanegara (1980–1983)
This research explains the background of the transmigration of Javanese tribes to East Kalimantan, namely to Bangun Rejo Village in 1980-1983. This research aims to find out the factors behind their transmigration and the dynamics they faced during the transmigration process. The method used is the historical method, including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography, with data in the form of the phenomenon of the Soeharto era transmigration program and population distribution. The results showed that transmigration was a national effort to overcome poverty and develop inland areas as well as equalize the population throughout Indonesia. Transmigrants were given land to cultivate and financial support for one year. The program aims to provide new opportunities for those who want to build a life in developing areas. This research also illustrates the challenges of transmigrants' adaptation and integration with local communities
Analyzing students’ errors and misconceptions in proof construction in abstract algebra course
This study aimed to identify and describe the types of errors and misconceptions made by students in the process of constructing proofs. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the subjects were fifth-semester students enrolled in the Abstract Algebra course at Mulawarman University. Three student responses showing significant error patterns regarding the Fundamental Isomorphism Theorem were purposively selected and analyzed based on the Selden & Selden framework. The results indicated that students faced notation, logical, and structural obstacles. Dominant errors included notation inflexibility (E3), reversed logic in surjective proofs due to quantifier neglect (E8), and structural misconceptions in defining kernel and image (M7). Additionally, over-generalization of real number rules in group operations (M5) was observed. These findings suggested that students remained at the procedural-thinking stage and had not yet reached the "Object" stage in their cognitive schema, resulting in a failure to build rigorous deductive arguments. This study recommends instructional interventions emphasizing the visualization of abstract structures and strengthening quantifier logic to minimize students' future epistemological obstacles
Evaluasi Dampak Program Peningkatan Kompetensi Pendidik Dan Tenaga Kependidikan Paud Di Ibu Kota Nusantara
The program to enhance the competencies of educators and educational personnel in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) through a partnership scheme in the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) represents a strategic initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology aimed at preparing PAUD institutions to become learning organizations capable of serving as disseminating partners for surrounding PAUD units. This study aims to analyze the impact of the partnership program on improving the competencies of PAUD educators and heads of institutions, as well as to identify the impacts perceived by parents through an exploration of the perspectives of teachers, parents, and children. This study employed an evaluative research design using the Responsive Stake Evaluation Model, which emphasizes the components of antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. Research participants were selected through purposive sampling, involving heads of PAUD institutions, educators, parents, and children across six sub-districts in the IKN area, covering Penajam Paser Utara Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The findings indicate that the partnership program had a significant impact on enhancing the competencies of PAUD educators, particularly in fostering reflective teaching practices, implementing learning strategies aligned with the characteristics of early childhood learners, and developing participatory learning environments. Educators demonstrated a paradigm shift toward child-centered, contextual, and inclusive learning. In addition, the competencies of PAUD heads were also strengthened, especially in the development of participatory learning environments and collaborative, reflective instructional leadership. The program’s impact was also perceived by parents through increased involvement in the learning process and improved communication with schools, which contributed to more optimal child development. The success of the program was supported by synergy among partner PAUD institutions, facilitators, local governments, higher education institutions, and the Teacher Development Center (Balai Guru Penggerak), positioning the partnership program as a sustainable model for PAUD competency development in the IKN region
Teachers’ Perceptions of Digital Technology Use in English Language Learning During The Covid-19 Pandemic and in The Post-Pandemic Period
COVID-19 brings a deep impact on the field of education, especially by pushing the wide use of digital technology in learning. When face-to-face learning returned, it became important to see whether teachers’ experiences with technology during the pandemic affected their views and decisions about using technology after the pandemic. Many studies have looked at teachers’ views during and after the pandemic, but only a few have explored how English teachers view these experiences and how it influenced their decisions to keep or change their use of technology especially in schools located outside urban centers or in areas with limited resources. This research focused on exploring the views of English teachers on using digital technology during and after the COVID-19 pandemic at a semi-rural public Junior High School in East Kalimantan. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interviews for data collection. The results showed that before the pandemic, most teachers only used technology as a supporting tool. After the pandemic ended and learning returned to the classroom, teachers tend to continue the use of technology because they found it helpful and had become accustomed to it, although the use of technology after pandemic less frequent compared to during the pandemic
Analysis Policy Implementation Early Childhood Education Holistic Integrative
This study aims to analyze the policy implementation of Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Education in Banjarmasin City. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytical research design. Data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis follows the procedure of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion drawing. The study results show that the implementation of Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Education policy has a sufficiently strong regulatory foundation, but its field implementation still faces various challenges, including suboptimal cross-sector coordination, infrastructure and facilities that do not meet standards, limitations in trained human resources, and lack of shared vision among implementing institutions. Furthermore, the role of local government is highly influential in ensuring program sustainability through budget support and institutional capacity strengthening. This research recommends the need to strengthen coordination mechanisms between agencies, improve training for human resources (principals and teachers), develop systematic program planning and monitoring, and conduct regular evaluation to implement the policy sustainably
Analisis Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan Pada PDAM Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PDAM Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh berbagai keluhan pelanggan mengenai ketidakstabilan distribusi air, kualitas air yang kurang baik, serta keterlambatan penanganan keluhan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi untuk memastikan keabsahan informasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi kualitas pelayanan yang terdiri dari reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, dan tangibles memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Dimensi reliability (keandalan) dan responsiveness (daya tanggap) terbukti menjadi faktor paling dominan, karena terkait dengan kelancaran distribusi air serta kecepatan penanganan keluhan. Sementara itu, indikator kepuasan pelanggan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk air tergolong cukup baik, harga relatif terjangkau namun belum sebanding dengan layanan saat distribusi terganggu, biaya tambahan masih membebani sebagian pelanggan, dan aspek emosional pelanggan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kontinuitas layanan. Secara keseluruhan, kepuasan pelanggan PDAM Tirta Kencana berada pada kategori sedang (cukup puas), namun masih memerlukan perbaikan khususnya pada aspek keandalan distribusi dan respons cepat terhadap keluhan.
