Research on Support for Family Caregivers Responsible for Double Care
Get PDFpdfThere are a wide range of problems in the field of home eldercare, such as care provided by an elderly person for another elderly person and mistreatment of people who require care because caregivers are faced with financial burden caused by leaving their work due to the difficulty of managing both work and caregiving, to name only two. In addition to these, there have been increasing concerns in recent years because caregivers face the challenge of balancing both eldercare and childcare (referred to as double care). We researched the current state and difficulties of double care that caregivers encounter and examined how to provide necessary support based on interviews with caregivers. We found five categories requiring support within the “difficulties of double care” from the results of the interviews: 1) the burdens of eldercare, 2) the burdens of childcare, 3) relationships within the caregiver’s social network, 4) types of specific support required, and 5) thoughts regarding double care. Thus, the increased burden from the simultaneous responsibility of childcare and eldercare causes the difficulties of double care, suggesting that it is necessary to provide support that meets these needs.departmental bulletin pape
Current status and issues of the Supporting siblings of children with chronic illness and disabilities─Possibilities of collaboration with educational institutions─
Get PDFpdfSchool age siblings of children with chronic illness and disabilities are affected psychosocial influence by their sibling’s conditions. As such, they require support. However, what they are receiving is inadequate. The main support for these siblings is offered by self-help groups. However, since these groups are not professionals, what they can do is limited. What is needed that the self-help groups cannot provide alone is educational and social support to reduce the psychosocial influences on the siblings of children with chronic illness and disabilities. What is Otaku impression?─Interrelation between Otaku categories and impression toward otaku─
Get PDFpdf本研究は，多種のオタクカテゴリとオタクカテゴリに対する印象との関連性を検討することを目的として調査を実施した。調査対象者は，自身をオタクと自認するオタク群258名となり，自身をオタクと認識しない一般群258名を対象とした。オタク群と一般群によるオタクカテゴリごとの印象の差を検討した結果，カテゴリによって，オタク群は一般群よりも社交性に関するポジティブなイメージを抱きやすく，マナーの悪さに関するネガティブなイメージを抱いていた。また，一般群はオタク群よりもオタクカテゴリに対して不健康で，大人しいという印象を抱いていた。さらに，オタクカテゴリと印象評定との相互関連性を双対尺度法によって検討した結果，腐女子とマンガオタクは過激で妄想しやすいという印象でまとめられ，女性アイドルオタクと声優オタクは不健康という印象でまとめられ，ゲームオタクと鉄道オタクは陰気でマナーが悪いという印象でまとめられ，アニメオタクやコスプレイヤーは恋愛が苦手で大人しいという印象でまとめられた。本研究の結果から，一般群においていまだにオタクに対する偏見がみられ，その偏見はオタクカテゴリごとの異なる印象が統合された偏見である可能性が示唆された。Interrelation between various Otaku categories and impressions toward Otaku was investigated. A questionnaire survey was conducted with participants (N=518). Participants divided into Otaku group who confess as Otaku (N=258) and Not-Otaku group who didn’t confess as Otaku (N=258). Result indicated that Otaku group evaluated Otaku more sociable and worse manners than Not-Otaku group, and Not-Otaku group evaluated Otaku more unhealth and quiet than Otaku group. And the result of Dual Scaling show that Fujoshi and voice-actors Otaku are related with unhealthy, Game Otaku and railway Otaku are related with gloomy and bad manners, anime Otaku and cosplayer are related with poor love and quiet. The result of this study suggested that Not-Otaku group have prejudice to Otaku and prejudice to Otaku are integrated with various impressions to various Otaku categories.departmental bulletin pape
Current status and issues of Parenting Skills Training for Developmental Disorders: Toward the development of a Program in accordance with their Special Support Needs
Get PDFpdf本論の目的は，発達障害に対するペアレントトレーニングについて国内外の動向を概観し，本邦における現状と課題を検討することであった。学童期までのペアレントトレーニングは知的発達症を伴わない発達障害を対象に集団で行われ，親の養育行動やメンタルヘルスの改善ならびに子どもの行動変容に一定の効果を得ていた。ただし，自閉スペクトラム症は注意欠如多動症とは異なる機序で行動が形成される場合があり，行動理論や発達特性についての個別性の高い心理教育が必要であることが示された。発達障害のある青年に対するペアレントトレーニングは注意欠如多動症を中心に行われており，問題解決の方法が取り入れられ，親子間葛藤の減少や親のメンタルヘルスの改善に有効であった。また，国外では問題解決に子ども本人が参加する場合が多く，子どもが参加することは子どもの問題行動の改善に肯定的な影響を及ぼしていることが示唆された。さらに，親子間葛藤の減少がプログラムの効果判定に多用されていることから，青年期の心理的特徴について親を教育することはプログラムの重要な位置づけになると考えられた。The purpose of this paper was to overview trends in parenting skills training for developmental disorders in Japan and abroad, and discuss current issues relating to the practice in Japan. Parenting skills training targeting children up to school age was mainly carried out in groups for developmental disorders without intellectual disorder. Parents who took part in the program changed in their parenting behavior, mental health and their child’s behavior positively. However, it was shown that children with autism spectrum disorder have a different mechanism of learning behavior from children with attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder; therefore, it is necessary to educate parents about behavioral theory and developmental characteristics individually. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the program is often measured by the reduction of parent-child conflict; thus, educating parents the psychological characteristics of adolescence is an important role of the program.departmental bulletin pape
