    Analysis of Export, Investment, and Corruption Perceptions’ Influence on GDP Per Capita of 5 Emerging Countries in ASEAN

    The purpose of this study is to examine how the GDP per capita of 5 ASEAN countries is impacted by exports, investment, and perceptions of corruption. Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam are included in this study and categorized as emerging ASEAN. Panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the technique employed in this study. The results show that the GDP per capita of the 5 ASEAN countries is significantly impacted by exports and the perception of corruption. Exports are significant at the 5% level whereas the perception of corruption is important at the 10% level. Exports of good and services and low corruption rates will bring the increase of GDP per capita of 5 ASEAN countries. However, investment has found to negatively effect GDP per capita of 5 ASEAN countries. Evaluation of the effectiveness of investment related policies are needed to maximize the spillover effects of investment so it can have positive impact on the economy

    Implementasi Metode YOLOV5 dan Tesseract OCR untuk Deteksi Plat Nomor Kendaraan

    Campus security and convenience are crucial factors in supporting the advancement of higher education institutions. Conventional security systems that involve manual vehicle inspections through ownership identification often consume time and cause vehicle queues, leading to traffic congestion. To address this issue, this research proposes a solution in the form of an automatic license plate recognition system based on You Only Look Once (YOLO) and character extraction using Tesseract Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. This system enables quick and efficient vehicle license plate recognition, optimizing traffic flow, saving time, and enhancing convenience for all vehicle users on campus. The research methodology involves training a YOLO model with a vehicle license plate Dataset to detect and recognize license plates, followed by character extraction to accurately identify plate numbers. The research results show the system\u27s accuracy reaching 70%, indicating its effectiveness in detecting vehicle plates in various situations. It is hoped that this system can be widely implemented on campuses to improve security, convenience, and access efficiency for the entire academic community.Keamanan dan kenyamanan di lingkungan kampus merupakan faktor penting dalam mendukung kemajuan perguruan tinggi. Sistem keamanan konvensional yang melibatkan pemeriksaan kendaraan manual melalui identitas kepemilikan seringkali memakan waktu dan menyebabkan antrian kendaraan, sehingga menimbulkan kemacetan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi berupa sistem pengenalan plat nomor otomatis berbasis You Only Look Once (YOLO) dan ekstraksi karakter menggunakan teknologi Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Tesseract. Sistem ini memungkinkan pengenalan plat nomor kendaraan secara cepat dan efisien, sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan lalu lintas, menghemat waktu, serta meningkatkan kenyamanan bagi setiap pengguna kendaraan di lingkungan kampus. Metodologi penelitian melibatkan pelatihan model YOLO dengan Dataset plat nomor kendaraan untuk mendeteksi dan mengenali plat nomor, yang dilanjutkan dengan ekstraksi karakter untuk mengidentifikasi nomor plat secara akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan akurasi sistem mencapai 70%, yang menunjukkan efektivitasnya dalam mendeteksi plat kendaraan dalam berbagai situasi. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan secara luas di lingkungan kampus untuk meningkatkan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan efisiensi akses bagi seluruh civitas akademika

    Teknologi Augmented Reality sebagai Media Pembelajaran Geografi Struktur Lapisan Bumi

    Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that can integrate virtual objects into the real world and combine the two to create a combined space that is then projected in real-time. The application of augmented reality technology in education provides an innovation in creating learning media, especially in the subject of geography of the earth\u27s layer structure for class X at MA Mamba\u27ul Ulum Bedanten which has so far been carried out with conventional learning media. The purpose of this study is to use AR technology as an interesting and interactive teaching method and can increase students\u27 desire to study the geography of the earth\u27s layer structure material. The method used in this study is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method with the waterfall model. The testing method used is the black box method with functional suitability and probability aspects. This application was created using two software, namely Blender and Unity. The results of the study are in the form of a learning media application for the geography of the earth\u27s layer structure by implementing augmented reality technology. There are two stages of testing, namely (1) system testing including the ar Play menu button, material button, information button, and exit button; and (2) testing on users of 23 class X students of MA Mamba\u27ul Ulum Bedanten. The results of the AR application system testing of the earth\u27s layer structure can function well according to the planning and testing of users showed that 18% strongly agreed, 78% agreed, and 4% strongly disagreed that the existence of learning media by implementing AR technology can increase student activity and enthusiasm in learning the material on the earth\u27s layer structure.  Augmented reality (AR) merupakan salah satu teknologi yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengintegrasikan benda maya ke dalam dunia nyata dan menggabungkan keduanya sehingga menciptakan ruang gabungan kemudian diproyeksikan secara real time. Penerapan teknologi augmented reality dalam bidang pendidikan memberikan sebuah inovasi dalam membuat suatu media pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Geografi struktur lapisan bumi kelas x di MA Mamba’ul Ulum Bedanten yang selama ini masih dilakukan dengan media pembelajaran konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan teknologi AR  sebagai metode mengajar  menarik dan interaktif serta dapat meningkatkan keinginan siswa untuk mempelajari materi Geografi struktur lapisan bumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode SDLC (Sistem development life cycle) dengan model waterfall. Metode pengujian yang digunakan adalah metode black box dengan aspek funcional suitability dan probability. Pembuatan aplikasi ini menggunakan dua software yaitu blender dan unity. Hasil dari penelitian berupa aplikasi media pembelajaran Geografi struktur lapisan bumi dengan menerapkan teknologi augmented reality. Terdapat dua tahap pengujian, yakni (1) pengujian sistem meliputi button menu ar Play, button materi, button informasi, dan button exit; dan (2) pengujian terhadap pengguna sebanyak 23 siswa kelas x MA Mamba’ul Ulum Bedanten. Hasil dari pengujian sistem aplikasi AR struktur lapisan bumi dapat berfungsi dengan baik sesuai dengan perencanaan dan pengujian terhadap pengguna menunjukkan 18% sangat setuju, 78% Setuju, dan 4% sangat tidak setuju adanya media pembelajaran dengan menerapkan teknologi AR dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan semangat siswa dalam belajar materi struktur lapisan bumi

Abstract contains of maximum 200 words Security system solutions for strategically important facilities are put in place to prevent unauthorized access. There are numerous automated access control systems available, but they are relatively expensive and difficult to use. The goal of this research is to create a security system that combines voice recognition and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to reduce costs while providing optimal security. This system is based on the Raspberry PI, and it uses RFID reading to scan and identify the user, as well as voice recognition to grant entry by opening the door. The microcontroller also provides access via a visual display in the form of a liquid crystal display for easy identification of the server room access control. Identity information and voice recognition are saved in a database, which can be accessed at any time. The RFID reader can scan a tag within 20 cm in two seconds and perform voice recognition in one second. The data is stored in the database after the two types of access control are identified and recognized. To open the door, the motor will move. XYZ\u27s struggles with uneven stitching, loose buttons, and stained fabric in daily workwear production. To address these issues, this study employs Lean Manufacturing principles integrated with the SQCDMPE framework. By utilizing tools like fishbone diagrams and SQCDMPE analysis, root causes of production inefficiencies were pinpointed. Recommendations include implementing stringent quality controls, enhancing worker training, and optimizing operational processes to minimize waste and improve overall efficiency. These strategies aim to streamline production at PT. XYZ, enhancing product quality and meeting customer demands effectively in the competitive global garment market

    The COVID-19 pandemic has introduced significant behavioral changes driven by adopting health protocols known as the 5M measures—mask-wearing, handwashing, maintaining physical distance, limiting mobility, and avoiding crowds. This study evaluates the implementation of the 5M health protocols in Trenggalek and Bendungan Districts, representing urban and rural areas, respectively. Utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, modified with Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) constructs, this research examines community awareness and adherence to 5M protocols. A survey involving 758 respondents from both districts was conducted during the pandemic to assess factors influencing compliance. The findings highlight that social influence through counseling, advertisements, and posters plays a pivotal role in shaping behavioral intentions related to protocol adherence. Furthermore, these intentions directly influence actual behavior, reinforcing sustained compliance with the 5M measures. Notably, urban and rural contexts demonstrated similar patterns, underscoring the universal impact of social influence regardless of geographic setting. This study concludes that strengthening community engagement and targeted social campaigns can enhance public health resilience and preparedness for future pandemics by fostering sustainable health-conscious behavior

Tujuan dari review paper ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi pemanfaatan bantaran sungai yang berkontribusi pada pembangunan masyarakat berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode review literatur sistematis, melibatkan seleksi dan analisis kritis terhadap studi dari berbagai sumber akademis. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa strategi efektif meliputi integrasi fungsi ekologis, sosial, dan ekonomi, dengan penekanan kuat pada partisipasi masyarakat dan kebijakan yang mendukung. Studi ini mengidentifikasi kebutuhan akan pendekatan adaptif yang mempertimbangkan perubahan iklim dan tekanan urbanisasi. Kontribusi utama dari paper ini adalah penyediaan kerangka komprehensif untuk memahami dan menerapkan praktek pemanfaatan bantaran sungai yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif. Utilization of river banks faces challenges in balancing development needs and environmental sustainability. This review paper analyzes riverbank utilization strategies that contribute to sustainable community development. This research uses a systematic literature review method involving selecting and critically analyzing studies from various academic sources. The results show that effective strategies include integrating ecological, social, and economic functions, strongly emphasizing community participation, and supportive policies. This study identifies the need for adaptive approaches considering climate change and urbanization pressures. This paper\u27s main contribution is providing a comprehensive framework for understanding and implementing sustainable and inclusive riverbank utilization practices

    The curriculum is a foundation of teaching and learning activities. It can be used for reference to prepare learning materials before delivery to the class. Besides that, curriculum is also a parameter for the learning process achieved. The success of a curriculum implemented depends on how the teacher prepares the materials that want to be provided and the teaching method applied. This R&D research aims to develop an English Speaking Curriculum for English Club Student Activity Unit (SAU) at Nahdaltul Ulama Sidoarjo University (UNUSIDA). The development model used is Taba model (1962) that has seven stages, which are the diagnosis of needs, formulation of objectives, selection of contents, organization of contents, selection of learning experience, organization of learning experiences, and determination of what to evaluate and the way to do it. The data collection technique used interviews with English Club members while recording the conversation. The video recording is to collect information to obtain diagnostic data for needs. From the data obtained, researcher can determine the learning objectives to be achieved. The feasibility assessment developed from the principles of curriculum development. The results validation test of the development product reached the category of very valid with a percentage 90% by the expert validator, which means curriculum is feasible to use for the English Club Student Activity Unit at Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo University

    Currently, there are many problems regarding the quality and safety of products that can endanger consumers. GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a fun way in the form of application in the food processing industry to guarantee and ensure the safety and quality of the products produced. The purpose of this community service is to conduct training application (Good Manufacturing Practices) of GMP on CV. Pawon Ibun in order to prepare for Food certification CV. Pawon Ibun is a business engaged in food processing that specifically produces MPASI for baby and toddlers. In addition to the aim of obtaining food certification, another objective of the training and assistance provided to workers is to provide an understanding of the importance of GMP and be able to apply it during the production process, so that CV. Pawon Ibun is able to produce safe and quality processed food. The research method used is a qualitative approach and survey methods are also used in data collection. Implementation starts from training, mentoring and also evaluation. Based on the survey results, it can be seen that the employees of CV. Most of Pawon Ibun did not know about and had not received training on GMP. And after receiving training, they are able to understand the concepts, objectives, and benefits of GMP and are able to apply them during the production process. That way, CV. Pawon Ibun is eligible to get GMP food certification

    EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN ROBOTIKA TERSTRUKTUR BERBASIS ELEKTRONIKA PRAKTIS UNTUK SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    Abstract. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a robotics learning approach starting with practical electronics, analog robot design, and basic mechanics in enhancing elementary school students\u27 interest in learning. The research also explores how students’ economic backgrounds influence their enthusiasm for robotics education. The subjects were 25 fifth-grade students from SDN Margorejo 1 Surabaya, selected based on specific criteria, including middle-income family backgrounds. The quasi-experimental research design included pre-test and post-test stages. Activities comprised four phases: introduction to practical electronics, simple analog robot design, basic robotics mechanics training, and robot integration and testing. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and project assessments. Descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistical tests measured changes in students’ interest, while qualitative methods examined economic factors affecting enthusiasm. Results revealed a 23% average increase in students’ interest in robotics. Additionally, 88% of students successfully built simple robots demonstrating creativity and functionality. Students from middle-income families maintained high enthusiasm, showing that economic constraints did not significantly hinder participation. This integrated approach effectively fosters technological interest, aligns with STEM concepts, and prepares students for technology-driven challenges. The study contributes practically and theoretically to robotics learning models for elementary education.
