The Significance of Ratification of the Rome Statute for Ukraine at the International and National Levels
No full textThis article is devoted to the issue of understanding the role of ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court for Ukraine at the international and national levels.The article highlights Ukraine’s path to the European community, which is still ongoing. The author has analyzed a significant number of normative legal acts and scientific sources that discuss the issue of Ukraine’s ratification of the Rome Statute from various perspectives, including the risks for our military personnel and Ukraine’s status on the international stage after the adoption of this important decision.The author emphasized the importance of making such a decision, as the EU has repeatedly stressed the necessity of Ukraine’s ratification of the Rome Statute, particularly in the Conclusion of the European Commission regarding Ukraine’s application for EU membership dated June 23, 2022, and the recommendations of the European Commission presented in the Progress Report on Ukraine within the EU Enlargement Package 2023 dated November 8, 2023.Ultimately, the ratification of this document was accompanied by a list of statements, one of which reads: «Ukraine declares that for seven years after the Rome Statute comes into force for Ukraine, it will not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court regarding the crimes specified in Article 8 (taking into account amendments), when it is likely that the crime was committed by its citizens.» Many comments from government officials have been provided in the public space regarding this matter.Summarizing numerous public statements, the author concluded that the ratification of the Rome Statute poses no threat to Ukrainian servicemen, as in 2014 and 2015 Ukraine adopted two statements recognizing the jurisdiction of the ICC, which can already hold Ukrainian citizens accountable, and the ratification of the Rome Statute does not bring new risks.Regarding the attitude of the European community towards Ukraine and the issue of holding Ukrainian military accountable, the author concludes that premature fears are unwarranted, as the European community is currently focused primarily on the arrest and punishment of guilty parties from Russia: on March 17, 2023, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin and Russia’s children’s ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova.In the end, the author emphasizes the positive aspects of the decision to ratify the Rome Statute as one of the steps towards Ukraine’s accession to the European Union
The content of the political factor that determined Russia’s aggression against Ukraine
No full textThe article provides a comprehensive analysis of the political factor as a key determinant of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine. The author argues for the necessity of examining the crime of aggression not only through the lens of individual behavior but also through global factor schemes, which include socio-political, economic, and bio-social components.Based on Samuel Huntington’s civilizational approach, it is substantiated that the current Russian-Ukrainian war unfolds along the «civilizational fault line» separating the Euro-Atlantic civilization, to which Ukraine historically gravitates, from the Asian (Central Asian) civilization, of which Russia is a component. The paper critically analyzes the erroneous geopolitical assessments of Western leaders in the late 20th and early 21st centuries regarding Russia’s democratization and Francis Fukuyama’s concept of the «end of history,» which led to the world’s unpreparedness to confront the resurgence of Russian imperialism.Particular attention is paid to the historical and ideological evolution of the «Russian World» concept. The author traces its origins from the «Kyiv Synopsis» (17th century) and Count Uvarov’s doctrine («Orthodoxy, Autocracy, Nationality») to Soviet «proletarian internationalism» and the modern ideology of Rashism . The content of Rashism is detailed as a new type of totalitarian ideology combining Russian chauvinism, imperialism, and practices of communist and Nazi regimes, as recognized by the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.It is established that the antagonistic contradictions between Ukraine’s democratic system and Russia’s authoritarian-totalitarian regime, exacerbated by the personal factor of the dictator Putin and the false thesis of «one people,» made aggression an inevitable consequence of the realization of the Kremlin’s imperial ambitions
Модифікації західних матриць у зрілій мешап-прозі України
Get PDFThe phenomenon of mashup-prose became one of the most controversial in the literary process of the first quarter of the XXI century and developed on the wave of fantasy expansion in the world artistic space. The aesthetic challenge and ambiguity of the message of this prose turned out to be stronger than the factor of its popularity, accordingly, the fantasy subgenre did not fall into the focus of comprehensive research either in canonical Anglo-American forms or in later versions of national implementations. In the 2020s, we are observing a decline in the popularity of this subgenre at the global level, however, in national systems, the mashup retains its position at the level of an artistic technique, which is motivated by the ideological closeness of the mashup to the corpus of modern fantasy as a whole. Against the global backdrop, the nature and dynamics of the development of mature Ukrainian mashup are of particular interest due to the uniqueness of its rethinking of original subgenre formulas in combination with a critical vision of history and a pronounced folk humorous element, with the later proposal of a new hybrid variety.
Our article first identifies, against the background of subgenre dynamics, the specifics of the mature form of mashup expression in Ukrainian literature using the example of the story by O. Dekan (and I. Nechui-Levytskyi) Kaydash Family vs Zombies. The key points here are the identification of the originality of O. Dekan’s elaboration of the model of “transformation of a classical work” and the departure from this matrix in the subgenre context, as well as the reflection in this artistic work of the fantasy paradigm updated at the beginning of the XXI century. The specificity of the construction of the proposed investigation determines the priority of the comparative research method in it, and in its genetic-contact and typological planes.
O. Dekan’s creative reinterpretation of the classic mashup-model is indicative and testifies to the uniqueness of the implementation of the Western artistic matrix in the Ukrainian mature subgenre of 2020s. The interaction in the story Kaydash Family vs Zombies of sequentially arranged plot-image blocks, where the matrix is sustained and where the classic plot of I. Nechui-Levytskyi is left behind, can be considered as a hybridization of the mature mashup-form in the transition from mashup as a subgenre technology to mashup technique. O. Dekan’s mashup strategy is organic to the world experience of the subgenre and, despite the shortcomings of the text, testifies to the writer’s original attempt to depart from the canonized scheme. Kaydash Family vs Zombies reflects the main parameters of the fantasy paradigm renewed at the beginning of the XXI century. Further comparative study of the evolution of national variants of mashup-prose is promising, as it will allow for a deeper understanding of both the logic of national receptions of the subgenre and its transformation as a whole, including inertial phenomena (in particular serial ones).Феномен мешап-прози став одним з найсуперечливіших у літературному процесі першої чверті ХХІ ст. і розвивався на хвилі фентезійної експансії у світовому художньому просторі. Естетичний виклик і неоднозначність меседжу цієї прози виявилися сильнішими за фактор її популярності, відповідно у фокус комплексних досліджень фентезійний субжанр не потрапляв ні в канонічних англо-американських формах, ні в пізніших версіях національних реалізацій. У 2020-х рр. на світовому рівні спостерігаємо спад популярності субжанру, однак у національних системах мешап зберігає позиції на рівні художнього прийому, що мотивовано ідейною близькістю мешапу корпусу сучасного фентезі в цілому. На світовому тлі особливий інтерес становлять характер і динаміка розвитку українського мешапу через неординарність переосмислення в ньому первісних субжанрових формул у сполученні з критичним баченням історії та вираженим народним сміховим началом, з пізнішою пропозицією нового гібридного різновиду.
У нашій статті вперше визначено на тлі субжанрової динаміки специфіку зрілої форми вираження мешапу в українській літературі на прикладі повісті О. Деканя (та І. Нечуя-Левицького) “Кайдашева сім’я vs зомбі”. Ключовими при цьому є виявлення своєрідності опрацювання О. Деканем моделі “трансформування класичного твору” і відходу від цієї матриці в субжанровому контексті, а також відображення в цьому творі оновленої на початку ХХІ ст. фентезійної парадигми. Специфіка побудови пропонованої розвідки зумовлює пріоритет у ній компаративного методу дослідження, причому в його генетико-контактній і типологічній площинах.
Креативне переосмислення О. Деканем моделі класичного мешапу показове і свідчить про неординарність реалізації західної художньої матриці в українському зрілому субжанрі 2020 рр. Взаємодія в повісті “Кайдашева сім’я vs зомбі” послідовно розташованих сюжетно-образних блоків, де матриця витримана і де класичний сюжет І. Нечуя-Левицького залишений позаду, може розглядатися як гібридизація зрілої мешап-форми в переході від мешапу як субжанрової техніки до мешапу-прийому. Стратегія мешап-опрацювання О. Деканя є органічною світовому досвіду субжанру і, попри недоліки тексту, засвідчує оригінальну спробу письменника відійти від канонізованої схеми. “Кайдашева сім’я vs зомбі” відображає основні параметри оновленої на початку ХХІ ст. фентезійної парадигми. Подальше компаративне вивчення еволюції національних варіантів мешап-прози є перспективним, оскільки дозволить глибше зрозуміти і логіку національних рецепцій субжанру, і його трансформацію в цілому, включаючи інерційні явища (зокрема серіальні)

It underscores the significant role of cochlear implants in supporting speech development in preschool-aged children. The design of a rehabilitation program for a child with a cochlear implant considers several factors: the type of hearing impairment, the child\u27s speech and psychophysical abilities, the timing of hearing loss and prosthetic intervention, and the child’s response to changes in familiar cognitive activities. Rehabilitation employs techniques commonly used for developing hearing and speech in children with hearing aids, adapted to the individual needs of each child.Стаття присвячена визначенню ефективних шляхів реалізації завдань слухомовної реабілітації дітей із кохлеарним імплантом. Обгрунтовується значення кохлеарної імплантації в мовленнєвому розвитку дітей дошкільного віку. Акцентується, що в розробці програми слухомовної реабілітації дитини з кохлеарним імплантом враховується: характер порушення слуху, мовні та психофізичні можливості дитини; час втрати слуху і час протезування; специфіка реакції дитини на зміни звичної форми пізнавальної діяльності. Аналіз перехресних зв’язків HNBR із використанням пероксидних та триазинових сполук
No full textInvestigated the role of polymer peroxide (1,4-bis-tret butyl peroxy isopropyl benzene) and triazine compounds (6-bis-trichloromethyl sym-triazine, 2-phenyl-4) under heating in hydrogenated butadiene nitrile rubber (HNBR) systems. The changes in HNBR\u27s molecular structure when polymer peroxides and triazine compounds are present, as demonstrated by spectral, physical, and chemical methods of analysis: Decided the energy of yield and the rise of cross-connecting thickness of the matrix HNBR for each researched framework rely upon time. It is shown that cross connecting of the HNBR with peroxide polymers happens by an extreme sort. The study investigated the effects of polymer peroxides and triazine compounds on the molecular structure of hydrogenated butadiene nitrile rubber (HBNR) under heating, determined the kinetics of yield and the emergence of cross-linking density of the HBNR for each system studied, and showed that crosslinking occurs by a radical type.Досліджено роль пероксиду полімеру (1,4-біс-трет бутилперокси ізопропілбензол) та триазинових сполук (6-біс-трихлорметил сим-тріазин, 2-феніл-4) при нагріванні в системах гідрогенізованого бутадієн-нітрильного каучуку (HNBR). Зміни в молекулярній структурі HNBR за наявності полімерних пероксидів і триазинових сполук виявлено спектральними, фізичними та хімічними методами аналізу. Запропоновано, що енергія текучості та збільшення товщини перехресного зв’язку матриці HNBR для кожного досліджуваного каркасу залежать від часу. Показано, що перехресне зв\u27язування HNBR з пероксидними полімерами відбувається екстремальним типом. У статті досліджено вплив полімерних пероксидів і триазинових сполук на молекулярну структуру гідрогенізованого бутадієннітрильного каучуку (HBNR) при нагріванні, визначено кінетику виходу та виникнення щільності зшивання HBNR для кожної досліджуваної системи та показано, що зшивання відбувається за радикальним типом

No full textThe article considers the results of microscopic research on the growth morphology of crystals of modifications II and III during the transformation of II«III into K0.940Cs0.060NO3. The equilibrium temperature between modifications II and III was established, which is equal to Т0 = 457 ± 1 К. Transformations II«III in the crystal under study occur with the formation and growth of an embryo of a daughter modification inside the matrix.У статті розглянуто результати мікроскопічних досліджень морфології росту кристалів II і III модифікацій при перетворенні II«III в K0,940Cs0,060NO3. Встановлено температуру рівноваги між ІІ та ІІІ модифікаціями, яка дорівнює Т0 = 457 ± 1 К. Перетворення II«III в досліджуваному кристалі відбуваються з утворенням і ростом зародка дочірньої модифікації всередині матриці
