Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA Melalui Model Discovery learning Pada Peserta Didik Kelas V UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang II Kota Makassar
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA melalui model discovery learning pada peserta didik kelas V Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 di UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang II Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Desain penelitian meliputi empat komponen yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang II Kota Makassar yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu dianalisis dengan statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu 74,83 pada siklus I dan 93,22 pada siklus II. Pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajar yaitu 45,16 sedangkan pada siklus II ketuntasan hasil belajar yaitu 93,5 yang sudah melampaui indikator keberhasilan. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang II Kota Makassar.

Pengaruh Motivasi Orang Tua Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas V SD Inpres Daya Makassar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi orang tua terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Daya Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasi untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara suatu variabel dengan variabel lainnya. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Inpres Daya Makassar yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan angket/kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert dengan dua variabel, yaitu motivasi orang tua dan minat belajar siswa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deksriptif. Analisis awal menggunakan uji validitas, uji normalitas, dan uji linearitas. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel motivasi orang tua dan variabel minat belajar siswa. Kaidah uji korelasi yaitu jika rhitung > rtabel maka Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antar variabel X terhadap variabel Y. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi orang tua dan minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Daya Makassar. Arah hubungannya yaitu positif ditunjukan dengan nilai dari koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,489 adalah positif. Memiliki hubungan yang signifikan ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi dengan nilai rhitung lebih besar dari nilai rtabel yaitu 0,489 > 0,361

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam penanaman nilai karakter pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Langge Kecamatan Kaledupa Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi Sulawesi Tenggara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deksriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Langge Kecamatan Kaledupa Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi Sulawesi Tenggara. Dengan jumlah sampel 3 guru. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 06 juni s/d 17 juni 2022 terhitung sebanyak 10 kali pertemuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara secara berstruktur. Data penelitian yang di kumpul dengan mewancarai dan observasi tersebut menunjukan bahwa strategi guru dalam penanaman nilai karakter pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Langge Kecamatan Kaledupa Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi Sulawesi Tenggara setelah dilakukan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Langge menanamkan nilai karakter kepada siswa melalui berbagai macam strategi, yaitu keteladanan, kegiatan spontan, pengkondisian, dan pembiasaan.

Pengaruh Kecemasan dan Self-Efficacy Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 2 Sanggalangi Satap terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika
Get PDFPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecemasan dan self-efficacy siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Sanggalangi Satap terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.1 sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode angket dan metode tes. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda yang dilakukan dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan tingkat kecemasan yang berbeda, memiliki tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang sama. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan self-efficacy rendah, memiliki tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang tinggi, begitupun sebaliknya terdapat siswa yang memiliki self-efficacy yang sedang dan tinggi, tetapi memiliki tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang tergolong rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Adapun hasil uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh kecemasan dan self-efficacy siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Sanggalangi Satap terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.

PEER INSTRUCTION METHOD IN IMPROVING STUDENTS SPEAKING ABILITY
Get PDFThis research based on the students’ problem regarding to English teaching especially speaking ability. It was caused by the teaching method of the teacher in classroom was not interesting for students. The objective of the research was whether or not the use of Peer Instruction method was able to improve the speaking ability of the eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Watang Pulu. The research applied quasi-experimental design with two group namely experimental class and control class. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Watang Pulu in academic year 2016/2017. The sample was XI.IPA 1 as experimental class and XI.IPA 2 as control class. The result of the data analysis showed that the students’ speaking ability improved, it was showed by the mean score of pre-test was 41.13 and the post-test was 57.65. It showed that the speaking ability of the eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Watang Pulu improved through Peer Instruction method. In conclusion, teaching speaking through Peer Instruction method was effective to improve the eleventh grade students’ speaking ability at SMA Negeri 1 Watang Pulu of academic year 2016/2017.This research based on the students’ problem regarding to English teaching especially speaking ability. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENGLISH LESSON MATERIAL SOURCE FROM THE RUMAH BELAJAR PORTAL IN TEACHING ENGLISH

Rumah Belajar portal is a medium that can help teachers and students in the teaching and learning processThe data collection technique in this study is the process of collecting and processing information to evaluate results and use them for research. The research sample consisted of 20 students from eight grade. The results of the analysis The application of English learning material sources from the Rumah Belajar portal is very helpful for teachers in teaching English at SMP Satap 8 Baraka. This can be seen from the results of observations and interviews. The observation results show that teachers are successful in their performance to present their material, have a good influence on influencing students to follow their instructions, create good communication during sharing time, and make the class active. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Eksperimen One Group pre-test post-test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 001 Center Mambi Kabupaten Mamasa dengan jumlah 22 siswa. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, teknik dokumentasi, dan teknik tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis, uji normalitas, dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa pada nilai rata-rata pretest 48,63 dan nilai rata-rata postest adalah 85. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kesu’ Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan trianggulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kesu’ terdiri dari tiga (3) tahap seperti tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Implementasi pembelajaran tematik di SD Negeri 1 Kesu’ pada kelas V belum menerapkan pembelajaran tematik secara menyeluruh. Hal ini dapat dilihat terutama pada pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran tematik.

CONTENT VALIDITY ANALYSIS OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS’ NEEDS QUESTIONNAIRES FOR ENGLISH READING MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT
Get PDFThis study aimed to evaluate the content validity of English reading material needs questionnaires for chemical engineering students based on critical thinking abilities. The ADDIE model was modified for the Research and Development (R & D) plan that includes this investigation. In the analysis phase, questionnaires are created to define the issue and pinpoint its origin. The questionnaires are divided into three sections. The purpose of the first section is to learn more about the individual identities of the respondents. The second part of the survey tries to find out respondents' levels of proficiency in reading English-language literature as well as their motivations for learning the language. The final section consists of six questions, including how crucial it is to engage in critical thinking activities in order to comprehend English texts, the importance of reading strategies, learning strategies, text types, and the teacher's role. Two experts validate the content of the research tools used for the requirements analysis tests. Gregory's formula is used to assess the expert judgments' data. The results of the study showed that both raters agree with the aspects of personal background, purpose of learning English, students' ability level, Critical thinking activities in understanding English texts, reading techniques, and learning techniques. Both raters also agree on the aspect of 'text types' and 'lecturer's role'. All of the items of the aspects of chemical engineering students' needs questionnaires for English reading materials development are valid and can be distributed without any significant revisions.
