    Forgiveness in Adolescents Post-Divorce Parents in the Makassar Bugis Tribe

    This study aims to find out the description of forgiveness in post-divorce adolescents in the Bugis-Makassar tribe. The research methodology used is quantitative. The subjects of this study were adolescents aged 12-18 years, ethnic Bugis or Makassar, and whose parents were divorced. There were 179 subjects in this study consisting of 66 men and 113 women. The measurement tool used in this study is the Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Inventory (TRIM-18) to measure forgiveness with a reliability of 0.738. This study uses descriptive analysis techniques with the help of SPSS 25 for Windows software. The results of this study indicate that there are 147 (82.1%) students who have high forgiveness, as many as 31 (17.3%) students who have moderate forgiveness and as many as 1 (0.6%) subject with low forgiveness. This study concludes that the forgiveness of post-divorce adolescents in the Bugis-Makassar tribe is at a high level and most adolescents who have not been able to forgive their parents because they want to take revenge on their parents.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pemaafan pada remaja pasca perceraian di Suku Bugis-Makassar. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja yang berusia 12-18 tahun, suku Bugis atau Makassar, dan memiliki orangtua bercerai. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 179 subjek yang terdiri dari 66 orang laki-laki dan113 perempuan. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Inventory (TRIM-18) untuk mengukur pemaafan dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,738. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan software SPSS 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 147 (82,1%) siswa yang memiliki pemaafan tinggi, sebanyak 31 (17,3%) siswa yang memiliki pemaafan sedang dan sebanyak 1 (0,6%) orang subjek dengan pemaafan rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pemaafan pada remaja pasca perceraian di Suku Bugis-Makassar pada tingkatan tinggi dan sebagian besar remaja yang belum bisa memaafkan orangtua mereka dikarenakan ingin membalas dendam kepada kedua orangtua mereka

    This study aimed at finding out the types of teachers’ non-verbal communication in English classes and the types of teachers’ non-verbal communication the most and less affecting young learners’ motivation in English classes. This study applied a mixed-method research design. The participants were two English teachers; the third and fourth-grade students, third grade consisted of 20 students while the fourth grade consisted of 7 students at SDIT At-Tibyan Al-Auliya Bajeng selected by total population sampling. An observation checklist was used to find out the types of teachers’ non-verbal communication in English classes and a questionnaire was used to find out the types of teachers’ non-verbal communication the most and less affecting young learners’ motivation in English classes. The findings of this study showed types of teachers’ non-verbal communication in English classes were divided into two parts they are body languages, which consisted of facial expressions, body gestures and movements, eye contact and touch and the use of space, and paralanguage which consisted of intonation, pitch, rhythm, volume, speed, accent and emphasis and types of teachers' nonverbal communication  that most affected young learners’ motivation in English classes was body gesture and movement, based on the result of questionnaire 85% of the students very agree that the teachers' body gesture and movement affected their motivation in learning English, and 15% of them agree that they get more motivation if the teacher uses their body gestures in the learning process, while types of teachers’ non-verbal communication that less affected young learners’ motivation in English classes was touch and the use of space, based on the result of questionnaire only 19% of the students very agree and also 19% of students felt agree that the teachers' body gesture and movement affected students’ motivation in learning English.This study aimed at finding out the types of teachers’ non-verbal communication in English classes and the types of teachers’ non-verbal communication the most and less affecting young learners’ motivation in English classes.     THE USE OF BUZZWORD WRITING TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ WRITING ABILITY AT THE FIRST SEMESTER OF STKIP YPUP

    This research was to find out whether the use of Buzzword writing technique to improve students writing ability at the first semester of STKIP-YPUP Makassar. The method used in this research was a pre-experimental using one group pre-test and post-test. This population of this research was the first semester of STKIP-YPUP Makassar which consist of one class was one classroom, the total population was 35 students. The researcher applied a random sampling technique by taking the first semester. To collect data, the researcher used an instrument, namely writing test. It will be used in pre-test and post-test. The test questions consisted of 10 items, they were 10 multiple choice buzzwords and 10 fill in the blank questions. The students’ post-test was higher than the students’ pre-test (85 > 33.66). The T-Test was higher than the T-Table (27.659 > 2.144).     IMPROVING THE ABILITY TO WRITE POETRY THROUGH MODELING TECHNIQUES FOR CLASS X STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 19 MAKASSAR

    This study aims to improve the poetry writing skills of grade X students at SMA Negeri 19 Makassar by applying modeling techniques. Modeling is a learning method that involves a practical approach, where students observe, try, and respond to the actions of teachers or models who are competent in a skill. This study used a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design. The subject of this study was a grade X student at SMA Negeri 19 Makassar who could write poetry that still needs to be improved. The research instrument involves observation, interviews, and portfolio analysis of student poetry writing results. The collected data were qualitatively analyzed to identify changes in the ability to write poetry after applying modeling techniques. The results of this study showed that the improvement in the ability to write poetry through modeling techniques for Class X students of SMAN 19 Makassar has increased. The increase in students' poetry writing skills resulted in 70.74 in cycle 1 and 79.35 in cycle 2

    THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE STEM APPROACH TO INCREASE STUDENTS' LEARNING OUTCOMES IN LEARNING THE PROPERTIES OF LIQUID OBJECTS

    This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the STEM approach on learning outcomes about the properties of liquids in Class VB students at the IKIP I Makassar State Elementary School Complex. This research is a form of research with a quantitative approach, using a type of pre-experimental designs (non-designs) research with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The design is intended to determine the effectiveness of the STEM learning approach on student learning outcomes in Learning the Properties of Liquids. The average student learning outcomes before implementing the STEM Approach was 76.74, while the average student learning outcomes after implementing the STEM Approach was 86.09. This means that the learning outcomes of students using the STEM approach are better when compared to conventional methods. The difference in learning outcomes is significant, where the Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 smaller than the sig level. 0.05. This means that the average value of student learning outcomes after implementing the STEM Approach compared to before implementing the STEM Approach is 86.09 > 76.74. The results of the hypothesis test show that the STEM approach is practical in the learning outcomes of class V students at the IKIP I Makassar Complex Public Elementary School. The level of effectiveness of using the STEM approach before and after learning can be seen from the average N-Gain Score of 0.4624 in the interval 0.3 ≤ g ≤ 0.7 in the medium category. This can be seen from an increase in the average student learning outcomes, initially in the excellent category, to becoming very good categories and the percentage of students who obtained learning outcomes in the good and very good categories, which has increased

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh game online terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SDN 133 Hila-Hila Keacamatan Bontotiro Kabupaten Bulukumba. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan rancangan penelitian pre-experiment, yang menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan tidak menggunakan kelas control. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen kuasi yang memungkinkan peneliti menentukan sampel penelitian sesuai dengan kriteria yang akan diteliti. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group subject design yang melibatkan siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Berdasrkan Hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji t secara parsial diperoleh t hitung sebesar 0,000 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,050 .Dengan melihat bahwa probabilition value atau nilai signifikan berada dibawah 5%, maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang menunjukkan bahwa paparan tersebut membuktikan adanya pengaruh antara Game online dengan Prestasi Belajar Siswa. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh game online berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dapat di lihat Berdasarkan uji yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa jumlah responden (N) ada 21, dari 21 responden , maka menghasilkan nilai 53.67 (Mean), 2.399 (Std.     The purpose of this research is to decide 1) the description of teacher literacy culture at Makassar CityState Junior High Schools, 2) the description of teacher professionalism at Makassar City State JuniorHigh Schools, and 3) the impact of teacher literacy culture on teacher professionalism at Makassar CityState Junior High Schools. Makassar. The population of this research consisted of all civil servant teachersat SMP Negeri in Makassar, a total of 995 teachers. The slovin formula was used to obtain convenientsampling method using simple random sampling with a minimum sample of 91 government junior highschool teachers in Makassar. The data was collected using a Likeart scale questionnaire, which first testedthe instrument's validity using the Gregory model for internal validity, Pearson's product moment forempirical validity, and Cronbach's alpha for reliability testing. Descriptive statistics and simple linearregression statistics were used to analyze the data. The study's findings show that 1) the description ofteacher literacy culture is generally in the high category, 2) The description of teacher professionalism isgenerally positive. 3) There is a positive and significant influence of literacy culture on teacherprofessionalism at public junior high schools in Makassar, with the a 20% effect.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) gambaran budaya literasi guru pada Sekolah MenengahPertama Negeri di Kota Makassar, 2) gambaran profesionalsme guru pada Sekolah Menengah PertamaNegeri di Kota Makassar, 3) pengaruh budaya literasi guru terhadap profesionalisme guru pada sekolahMenengah Pertama Negeri Di Kota Makasssar. Adapun Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh guruyang berstatus pegawai negeri sipil pada SMP Negeri di Kota Makassar yang berjumlah 995 guru. AdapunTeknik dalam memperoleh sampel penelitian menggunakan simple random sampling dengan sampelminimal berjumlah 91 orang guru SMP negeri di kota Makassar berdasarkan rumus slovin. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala likeart yang terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengujian validitasinstrument menggunkan model Gregory untuk validitas internal, pengujian menggunakan product momentpearson untuk validitas empiric, dan model alpha cronbach untuk pengujian reabilitas. Adapun Teknikanalisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistic deskriptif dan satistik regresi linear sederhana. Adapun hasilpenelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 1) gambaran budaya literasi guru umumnya berada pada kategori tinggi,2) gambaran profesionalisme guru umumnya berada pada kategori tinggi, 3) terdapat pengaruh budayaliterasi yang positif dan signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru pada SMP Negeri di Kota Makaasar,besar pengaruhnya sebesar 20%.Kata kunci: budaya literasi; kualitas guru; profesionalisme guru; sekolah menengah pertam

    Research on the teacher professional development (TPD) field has rapidly developed in the area of English Language Teaching. Those studies have confirmed that the impact of professional development activities do have positive impact on teachers’ professional practices. However, most of studies reported in the research literature on teacher professional development have been conducted in the area of English language teaching and learning of General English but very little research has been conducted on teacher professional development in the area of English for Specific Purpose (ESP). Therefore this future study aims to explore individual-initiated professional development of ESP lecturers in improving their professional teaching practices in higher education level.     The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education on student entrepreneurial intentions. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. The measurement scale used in the questionnaire uses a Likert scale with 5 (five) answer choices. The population as well as the sample in this study were 35 students of the Bosowa polytechnic taxation study program. The data analysis method used in this study was simple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software. The results showed that the entrepreneurship education variable had a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial intention variable. The R Square value is 0.604 or 60.4% which indicates that the entrepreneurship education variable influences the entrepreneurial intention variable by 60.4%.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah unttuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Skala pengukuran yang digunakan pada kuisioner menggunakan skala likert dengan 5 (lima) pilihan jawaban. Adapun populasi sekaligus menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 35 mahasiswa prodi perpajakan politeknik bosowa. Metode analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS Statistic 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel intensi berwirausaha. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,604 atau 60,4% yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pendidikan kewirausahaan mempengaruhi variabel intensi berwirausa sebesar 60,4%

    IMPROVING IPS LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING (PBL) MODELS IN CLASS V STUDENTS OF SD NEGERI NO 126 BORONG DISTRICT HERLANG, BULUKUMBA DISTRICT

    This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model for fifth grade students at SD Negeri No. 126 Borong sub-district of Herlang, Bulukumba Regency. This research was carried out in two cycles where each cycle consisted of 4 meetings with 22 research subjects, namely fifth grade students at SD Negeri No. 126 Wholesale Subdistrict Herlang, Bulukumba Regency. Data collection using observation sheet instruments to see the activities of teachers and students as well as tests to determine student learning outcomes.The results showed that there was an increase in the average value of students and student learning completeness. The average value in the first cycle was 66.14 and in the second cycle it increased to 76.59. students' learning completeness in cycle I was 25% and in cycle II it increased to 90%.Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPS Melalui Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri No. 126 Borong kecamatan Herlang Kabupaten Bulukumba. Penelitian ini di laksanakan dalam dua siklus di mana setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 pertemuan 22 subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri No. 126 Borong Kecaamatan Herlang Kabupaten Bulukumba. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrument lembar observasi untuk melihat aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dan ketuntas belajar siswa. Nilai rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 66.14 dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 76.59. ketuntasan belajar siswa siswa pada siklus I adalah 25% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 90%
