PROJECT-BASED LEARNING WITH MIND MAPPING: A PEDAGOGICAL APPROACH TO ENHANCE ENGLISH WRITING SKILLS
Writing is an important ability in English study, yet many students fail to communicate their thoughts coherently and artistically. Innovative solutions are required to assist kids in enhancing their writing skills. The purpose of this study is to look into the usefulness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) combined with mind mapping in enhancing students' writing skills, specifically in recount texts. Using a pre-experimental research methodology, the study was conducted at SMKN 1 Pangkalan Banteng with 28 eleventh-grade students from class XI AKL 1. The study had three stages: pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The students' pre-test average score was 71.04, which increased to 78.32 in the post-test. The data were examined using a normality test and a paired sample t-test. The normality test validated the data's normal distribution. The paired sample t-test resulted in a significant difference (p-value < 0.05) between pre-test and post-test scores. These data indicate that Project-Based Learning with Mind Mapping is an effective way to improve students' writing skills, particularly in writing recount texts. This study contributes to the field of English language instruction by emphasizing the advantages of integrating innovative and student-centered methods to improve writing skills
AI-ASSISTED PODCAST CREATION IN EFL LEARNING: ENHANCING SPEAKING FLUENCY AND REDUCING FOREIGN LANGUAGE ANXIETY AMONG GEN Z LEARNERS
In the era of artificial intelligence (AI)–driven education, integrating emerging technologies into English as a Foreign Language (EFL) pedagogy remains a critical challenge, particularly in balancing linguistic improvement and affective well-being. Despite growing research on digital tools, few studies have empirically examined how AI-assisted podcast creation can simultaneously enhance speaking fluency and alleviate foreign language anxiety (FLA) among Gen Z learners. This study employed a mixed-method design to investigate these dual outcomes among 120 undergraduate EFL students at Universitas Negeri Makassar. Participants were divided into an experimental and a control group, with the former engaging in AI-enhanced podcast projects using Podcastle and ElevenLabs, while the latter conducted traditional oral presentations. Quantitative data from pre- and post-tests and the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) were triangulated with qualitative data from reflective journals and focus group interviews. Statistical analyses revealed significant gains in speaking fluency (p < .001, Cohen’s d = 0.85) and a substantial reduction in anxiety levels (p < .01). Thematic analysis further indicated that AI-assisted podcasting fostered greater learner autonomy, digital confidence, and emotional regulation. These findings substantiate the pedagogical value of AI-driven multimodal production tasks and provide an evidence-based framework for integrating technology, fostering affective learning, and developing communicative competence in EFL contexts. The study underscores the transformative role of AI in reshaping 21st-century language education and provides a timely contribution to the global discourse on human–AI collaboration in learning

ANALYSIS OF THE CIPPO APPROACH TO HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS WITH BLU AND SATKER STATUS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF UNHAS, UNM, UINAM, UNG, AND POLIMDO
This study analyzes the effectiveness of the governance of higher education institutions with Public Service Agency (BLU) and Work Unit (SATKER) status using the CIPPO (Context–Input–Process–Product–Outcome) evaluation model. The study locations include UNHAS, UNM, and UINAM as BLU PTNs, and UNG and POLIMDO as SATKER PTNs. The study used a mixed-method approach through document analysis, a survey of 150 respondents, and interviews with eight key informants. The results show that BLU universities excel in Input, Process, Product, and Outcome aspects due to the flexibility of PNBP management, accelerated decision-making, and higher innovation capabilities. In contrast, SATKER universities have the strength of regulatory stability, but are less adaptive in responding to changes in the higher education environment. These findings support the theories of Adaptive Governance, Agile University, and Dynamic Capability, which indicate that governance flexibility is a key factor in increasing the competitiveness of higher education institutions in the era of digital transformation. The study recommends the need for bureaucratic reform and increased flexibility for SATKER universities to improve their performance and competitivenes
ANALYSIS OF EXPRESSIVE SPEECH BY PRESIDENT PRABOWO AT THE 80TH UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
This study examines various forms of expressive speech in President Prabowo Subianto's speech at the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York on September 23, 2025. The speech is significant because it was President Prabowo's first official address to an international forum and contained global issues such as support for the UN, the humanitarian situation, and calls for justice for Palestine. The study used a pragmatic approach with Searle's speech act theory, specifically the category of expressive speech acts. The research data consisted of direct quotations from the speech that reflected the speaker's attitude, emotions, and communicative position. The results of the analysis showed that this speech contained nine categories of expressive speech acts, namely expressions of respect, gratitude, empathy and concern, pride, hope, moral commitment, moral criticism, moral appeal, and humility. Expressions of respect and empathy were most dominant, in line with the diplomatic context that demands respect for the global audience and sensitivity to humanitarian issues, particularly those related to Palestine. Meanwhile, expressions of hope, exhortation, and commitment demonstrate President Prabowo's efforts to emphasize Indonesia's role as a country that is ready to support peacekeepers, strengthen food security, and contribute to addressing climate change. These findings show that expressive speech in state addresses is not merely a conveyor of emotion, but also a means of building Indonesia's political and diplomatic image in the international arena. This research is expected to enrich pragmatic studies, especially in the analysis of political discourse and diplomatic communication of state figures
BUILDING GLOBAL NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION IN DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENTERPRENEURSHIP ECOSYSTEM
Entrepreneurship in the digital era is increasingly shaped by globalization and technological change. Business activities now extend beyond national boundaries, relying on digital platforms, international partnerships, and knowledge exchange. Global networking provides entrepreneurs with access to markets, resources, and social capital, while collaboration across borders accelerates innovation through cooperation among firms, universities, governments, and international institutions. This paper highlights the importance of global networking and collaboration in strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems, with Indonesia as a central focus. Case studies such as Gojek’s partnership with Google and Tencent, and Tokopedia’s alliance with Alibaba, demonstrate how international cooperation enhances infrastructure, expands market reach, and fosters innovation. Despite these advances, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy, reliance on foreign investment, and gaps in national policy. Addressing these issues through human resource development, digital platforms, and supportive policies is essential for building inclusive and globally competitive entrepreneurship
