APPLICATION OF THE CARD SORT ACTIVE LEARNING METHOD TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVITY IN CLASS
Learning activeness is an activity that focuses on student development physically, intellectually, emotionally, and mentally so that students are not only recipients of information but are involved in learning. Student activeness is very important because it affects student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. Low student activeness can be seen from students being sleepy, not paying attention to the teacher's explanation, not focusing, and not having the courage to ask questions and express opinions. The writing of this final project aims to describe student learning activity through the application of card-sort-type active learning methods in the fifth grade. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that, after applying the card sort method, the average learning activeness of fifth-grade elementary school students increased from 53.33% to 80.67%. In conclusion, the card sort type of active learning method can enhance learning activities by providing opportunities for students to be actively involved in the learning process. The author's suggestion for future researchers is to continue investigating the application of active learning methods such as card sort, to enhance learning motivation

PSYCHOSPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE MODEL FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN TO IMPROVE MENTAL WELFARE IN THE TALLUNGLIPU CONGREGATION ENVIRONMENT
This study addresses the critical issue of mental health among elementary school students at Dasar School, a factor that significantly impedes their academic and social development within the Tallunglipu Congregation community. Faced with various psychological challenges, these children require specialized interventions. This research aims to develop a psychospiritual counseling model tailored to the unique needs and context of elementary school students to enhance their mental well-being. The primary objective is to document the psychological experiences and changes in children following their participation in a program that integrates mindfulness and spiritual practices. Utilizing a qualitative case study design, data was collected through direct observation of counseling activities, process documentation, and interviews with students, teachers, and other relevant individuals. Thematic analysis was employed to identify socio-emotional changes and assess the role of counseling in improving children's mental health. Findings indicate that psychospiritual counseling effectively promotes emotional regulation and a sense of calm among the students. Children demonstrated increased resilience, improved stress management, and a greater capacity for developing harmonious interpersonal relationships. Both students and teachers reported notable improvements, including enhanced patience and increased motivation for learning. Furthermore, students were better able to grasp the lessons and values embedded within spiritual teachings. While challenges such as variations in student concentration during sessions were observed, these were mitigated through intensive guidance. The results confirm that the psychospiritual counseling model is an effective intervention for improving the mental health of children within the Tallunglipu Congregation. This program serves as a viable, context-specific intervention rooted in religious and spiritual principles, and it can be integrated into the character development curriculum at the elementary school level
ELEVATING TEACHER EMPOWERMENT THROUGH INDONESIA’S TEACHER PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
This study explores the transformative effects of Indonesia’s Teacher Professional Education Program (TPEP) on educators, focusing on its impact on teachers’ personal and professional growth. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were gathered through interviews, focus group discussions, and classroom observations involving program participants (teachers) and faculty members. Key findings reveal significant positive changes: teachers reported adopting more innovative teaching methods (e.g. project-based and technology-enhanced learning), improved classroom management, and increased confidence and job satisfaction. For example, one participant noted that after TPEP 'students are more engaged and disciplined when I use project-based learning and new digital tools.' These practical changes align with prior research showing that active, student-centered professional development enhances instructional practice. However, participants also cited persistent challenges: resource constraints, heavy workloads, and limited ongoing PD support hindered full implementation. Stakeholders emphasized the need for strengthened support mechanisms (such as richer resource libraries and mentoring), echoing other studies that highlight institutional backing as critical for PD success. Overall, TPEP has empowered teachers and raised instructional quality, but sustainable improvements will require addressing systemic barriers and investing in continuous, collaborative professional learnin
A CONTRASTIVE ANALYSIS OF NOUN FORMATION IN MALAY AND ENGLISH
This study conducts a contrastive analysis of noun formation in Malay and English, focusing specifically on affixation processes. The research aims to identify and describe the types of affixes used in forming nouns in both languages, including prefixes, suffixes, infixes, and confixes, and to examine the similarities and differences between the two morphological systems. A descriptive qualitative design was applied, with data collected from written texts, including books and magazines in both Malay and English. The data were analyzed by classifying affixed words according to affix type and examining their morphological functions in noun formation. The findings reveal that both Malay and English utilize affixation in noun formation, with some shared meanings despite different forms. Malay employs prefixes, suffixes, infixes, and confixes, while English primarily uses prefixes and suffixes. Affix variation in English occurs mainly in suffixes, whereas in Malay it occurs predominantly in prefixes. The effects on base words also differ: English noun formation involves both letter mutation and omission, while Malay mainly involves mutation. Formation patterns vary according to the types of base words in each language. This study contributes to the field of morphology and contrastive linguistics by providing a systematic comparison between two languages from different language families. The findings are valuable for language learners, particularly those with a Malay background studying English, as understanding these structural differences can enhance morphological awareness and support vocabulary development

GENDER-BASED LEADERSHIP AND INCLUSIVENESS
Gender-based leadership and inclusivity are crucial considerations in the development of modern organizations because they impact the quality of decision- making, managerial effectiveness, and improved institutional performance. Women in leadership positions often demonstrate collaborative, empathetic, and communicative characteristics, enabling them to create a more harmonious, productive, and responsive work environment that addresses the needs of organizational members. Numerous studies confirm that gender diversity contributes to increased creativity, service quality, and team stability. Women's involvement in strategic positions remains hampered by masculine leadership stereotypes, bias in recruitment and promotion processes, and strong patriarchal values inherent in organizational culture. These cultural and structural barriers prevent women from gaining equal opportunities for development, even when they possess adequate competencies. Women's leadership development can be encouraged through affirmative action policies, leadership training, and the creation of an inclusive work environment. Capacity building through training has been shown to increase women's self-confidence, communication skills, and participation in decision-making. Furthermore, a work environment free from discrimination and respecting gender diversity has a positive impact on employee motivation, psychological well-being, and loyalty. Implementing gender equality policies in human resource management is a strategic step to eliminate structural bias and expand women's access to strategic positions. Overall, gender-based leadership and inclusivity are not only ethical imperatives, but also institutional strategies that strengthen organizational innovation, accountability, and sustainabilit
POLICY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF SPECIAL EDUCATION MODELS: SPECIAL SCHOOLS (SLB) AND INCLUSIVE SCHOOLS THROUGH THE CIPPO APPROACH
Special education in Indonesia is implemented through two main models: Special Schools (SLB) as exclusive education and inclusive schools as integrative education. This study uses the CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, Outcome) approach to analyze special education policies in Indonesia and compare the effectiveness of the two models. The study results indicate that special education policies in Indonesia still have several weaknesses in terms of regulatory context, human resource input, implementation processes, curriculum products, and educational outcomes. Special Needs Schools offer a specific and intensive approach for children with special needs, while inclusive schools provide opportunities for broader social integration. Both models have their own strengths and challenges, requiring comprehensive policy strengthening, teacher capacity building, adequate infrastructure, and collaboration between the government, schools, and communities to ensure educational equality for all children with special needs
