Get PDF音声認識技術は，この十年余りの間に大きな進歩を遂げている。講演・講義や議会審議などの公共の場で話される音声に対しても研究開発が進められ，一部は実用的なレベルに達しつつある。本稿では，このような話し言葉を対象とした音声認識の最近の技術動向と応用対象を解説するとともに，講演・講義への字幕付与やノートテイク支援など，メディア教育への展開について紹介を行う。In the past decade, there has been significant progress in the speech recognition technology. It has also been studied with regard to public speaking such as lectures and Parliamentary meetings, and several systems have been deployed in practical applications. Applying Speech Recognition Technology to Pronunciation Training
Get PDF近年，外国語学習者を対象とするCALL（Computer Assisted Language Learning）教材の開発が盛んに行われている。しかし，学習者の調音動作の誤りを正確に指摘できる教材はまだ開発されていない。本論文では，著者らが開発中の「教師と学習者の調音の違いを簡単に理解でき，さらに正しい調音への矯正方法を直感的に読み取ることのできる，英語発音学習システム」の調音編を中心に紹介する。このシステムは，学習者の発音を①調音部位や調音様式の違いを軸とした平面上に，表示する「発音マップシステム」と，②発声器官の動作をMRI画像から学習して教師と利用者の調音動作の違いをアニメーションで示す「調音アニメ生成システム」を提供する。①，②とも，学習者の音声から多層ニューラルネットワーク（Multi-Layer Neural network; MLN）を用いて調音特徴を抽出し，①では発音マップ上へ座標変換することにより，また②では対応する発音器官（声道）上の座標に変換することで，調音動作をリアルタイムに表示し発音矯正を支援する。本文ではこれまでに行った評価実験結果についても紹介する。Typical CAPT systems evaluate pronunciation using speech recognition, however, they cannot indicate how the learner can correct his/her articulation. This paper describes a novel CAPT system based on articulatory feature extraction from learnerʼs utterance. The proposed system has two novel functionalities of:（A）plotting a phone uttered by the learner on a pronunciation map with the two axes of articulation manner and articulation place in real time, and（B）visualizing animated articulatory gesture by highlighting the phone-specific part of an articulatory organ on a screen and comparing with the correctly pronounced gesture. In the system, a multi-layer neural network（MLN）is applied to convert learnerʼs speech into（A）the IPA chart and/or（B）the coordinate of a vocal tract using MRI data.departmental bulletin pape

The Determination of Atmospheric Parameters of Curve-of-Growth by the Simulated Annealing Method
Get PDFわれわれは、疑似焼きなまし法を適用して成長曲線から大気パメータを求めるプログラムを作成した。本プログラムは、Δx,Δy,θex, and log102αの４つの変数をこの変数の５つの初期値の組から求めるものである。なお、Δxは観測された成長曲線と理論成長曲線との横軸の差を意味し、Δyは両成長曲線の縦軸の差を意味する。ここで目的関数は、成長曲線上にプロットされた吸収線のちらばりの分散値とした。本プログラムは、Press et al.（1992）の擬似焼きなまし法と吉岡が作成した滑降シンプレックス法を組み合わせて改良したものである。
われわれは、本プログラムと吉岡が作成した成長曲線法のプログラムと吉岡が作成した滑降シンプレックス法のプログラムの結果を比較することにより、本プログラムの有効性を調べた。比較に使われたデータは、HD187203のFeⅠの吸収線86本である。そして、次の結論を得た。
1） 本プログラムは、吉岡の成長曲線法のプログラムとかなり短いステップとかなり短い時間で結果が得られるので、有効な方法である。吉岡の滑降シンプレックス法とは同程度の時間で結果が得られる。
2） パラタータを適当な範囲に選ぶならば、本プログラムで得られる評価関数は、吉岡の滑降シンプレックス法で得られる値よりも少し小さい値が得られる。
3） 吉岡の滑降シンプレックス法のプログラムと同様、本プログラムでも最終結果は初期値に依存する。しかし、それによる値の不定性は、成長曲線法での基準から言えば、小さい。departmental bulletin pape

エコール・デュ・ルーヴルが述べているように、広範囲の一般の人びとに、芸術作品に関する学知と多様な研究方法と意味を開示することは、エコール・デュ・ルーヴルの1882年創設以来の使命の一つなのである。この精神においてこそ、エコール・デュ・ルーヴルの聴講生は、受講者数の制限はあるものの、正規学生向けの講義のうちの幾つかの講義に出席可能なのであり、作品を前にしての演習をも受けることができるのである。
このような公開の性格は、コレージュ・ド・フランスにおいても、注目すべきものである。

Get PDFICT活用は世界の大学のあり方を大きく変えようとしている。放送大学においても、従来の放送授業から、インターネットによるオンデマンド型配信授業で学習する学生が増加しており、印刷教材のデジタル化も検討課題になりつつある。
日本でこうしたICTによる学習の変革を一番切実に必要とし、ここ20年、パソコンを最も先鋭的に活用し学習に役立ててきたのは視覚障がい学生である。2011年現在、放送大学に学ぶ視覚障がい者は142名。全国の高等教育機関に学ぶ視覚障がい者の20％を占めている。
放送大学では第一期卒業生の杉山和子氏がボランティア組織「菜の花の会」を立ち上げ、視覚障がい者が抱えていた印刷教材を読むことの困難さに支援がなされた。放送大学がこの地道な活動を継承し、ICTを活用した活動として発展させるために、「菜の花の会」のこれまでの活動を振り返り、記録しておきたい。departmental bulletin pape
Effect of Silt and Clay on the Settlement of Short-necked Clam <I>Ruditapes philippinarum</I> Larvae
Get PDFIn this study, we investigated the effect of silt and clay in the sediment on the settlement of Ruditapes philippinarum larvae. Mountain, river and sea sands of which silt and clay (R. philippinarum larvae. The addition of DS and Otagawa river sand-originated silt and clay did not accelerate the larval settlement, whereas the mountain and Jigozen sea sands-originated silt and clay promoted larval settlement at 5%. The negative impact of Otagawa river sand-originated silt and clay might be due to its high leachability of Mn, while the accelerated larval settlement by Jigozen sea sands-originated silt and clay could be attributed to its organic contents. Development of a Method for Visualizing Seismic Analysis Result of Space Structures Equipped with Base-Isolated Floors
Get PDF本研究では，OpenGLを用いて免震床及びそれを設置した構造物（以下，構造モデルと呼称する）の地震時における動的挙動を視覚的に把握することが可能な３次元描画方法を開発した。地震外力を受けて，構造モデルが動的挙動する様子をレンダリングするには，以下の手順で実現可能である。すなわち，対象とする構造モデルを，床，柱および免震床のブロックに分割（合計で98箇所）し，各ブロックは幅，高さ及び奥行きの寸法を有する直方体で構成する。直方体には８個の頂点があるので，構造モデルの実寸法（幅，高さ，奥行き）に対応した頂点の座標値を算出して直方体を形成することで構造モデルが描画できる。次に，描画した構造モデルのブロック代表点に，動的応答解析で得られた絶対応答変位を入力することで，地震外力を受ける免震床を有する構造物の動的挙動が描画できるのである。さらに，構造物モデルに装備した免震床について，床下に設置される積層ゴムの有無やゴムの特性の違いによる免震効果をレンダリング結果から考察した。In this study, we have developed a drawing method for simulating seismic analysis results of a space structure equipped with base-isolated floors utilizing OpenGL. Rendering is performed by next procedure. A target space structure model is divided into the block of some floors, columns and base-isolated floors. Then, each divided block is made in the cuboid with the size of width, height and depth. Actually, each cuboid can be drawn by connecting eight top coordinates calculated from actual size of structural model in straight line. Finally, the dynamic behaviour of the space structure equipped with base-isolated floors of earthquake loading can be simulated, when some absolute displacements by seismic analysis are input into some block representative points of space structural model drawn utilizing OpenGL. Besides, the damping effect of horizontal vibration by the difference of characteristics of the laminated rubber bearing has been verified on base-isolated floors.departmental bulletin pape
