IMPROVING SPEAKING SKILL BY USING YOUTUBE
English is an international language used to communicate and interact with other people in the world. It has the widest range of any language spoken today. English is found in many fields for social communication, such as politics, business, science, technology, entertainment even it is the most language used in the internet. It means that English is the global language of spoken communication for many activities. The objective of this study was to find out whether or not there was any significant improvement on speaking skill by using YouTube at SMA Methodist 2 Palembang. This study used pre-experimental method that was used quantitative approach with one group pretest and posttest design. There were 24 students taken as the sample by using purposive sampling technique as an experimental group. The class was X. MIA1. In collecting the data, speaking test was used as the technique. The result of paired sample t-test of speaking skill showed that the value of t-obtained was 10.837 at the significance level 0.000 with degree of freedom was 23. It means that the result of the data showed that there was significant improvement on speaking skill students The students were interested in joining the class and more creative during teaching and learning process.Keywords: YouTube, speaking skill, descriptive tex
PERANCANGAN ALAT PERONTOK BIJI LADA KAPASITAS 10 KG DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MOTOR LISTRIK
Abstrak: Alat perontok lada adalah suatu alat yang digunakan untuk merontokan lada apabila saat musim panen. Dengan adanya alat perontok lada ini akan dapat mampu mempercepat dalam proses perontokan lada apabila produktivitas konsumen meningkat. Alat perontok lada yang akan dibuat ini adalah hasil dari identifikasi masalah yang kerap dialami petani sehingga nantinya dapat bekerja sesuai kebutuhan. Alat ini mempunyai penggerak motor listrik 0,37 kW yang berhubungan langsung dengan poros penggerak utama piringan pisau ulir. Putaran motor listrik 1420 rpm diturunkan dengan perbandingan diameter. PENGUKURAN EFEKTIFITAS DAN EFISIENSI, KONTRIBUSI SERTA PERTUMBUHAN RETRIBUSI PAJAK TERHADAP PAD DI KOTA PALEMBANG
ABSTRACK The results of this study revealed that (1) the contribution of parking retribution revenue toward the Regional Generated Revenue (RGR) from 2013 to 2015 tended to improve. The improvement of its contribution occurred in 2013 was 1,47%, in 2015 was 1,40%, but it decreased to be 0,11% in 2014. (2)The effectiveness of parking retribution acceptance in Palembang in 2013 was 83.43%, 87,30% in 2014, and 92,70% in 2015. Thus, the revenue of parking retribution in Palembang during 2013, 2014, and 2015 was not effective. Mean while, the parking retribution revenue was effective enough in 2015. It was because its effectiveness around 100% while the efficiency of parking retribution revenue in Palembang was 26,32% in 2013, 25,16% in 2014, and 21,56% in 2016. Thus, the revenue of parking retribution in Palembang ran efficiently because the efficiency achieved was under 100%. (3)The growth of parking retribution revenue in Palembang from 2013 to 2015 was positive. The amount of growth was 20.33% in 2014, in 2013 the growth of parking retribution revenue was negative (8.21%). PENGARUH STRATEGI E-MARKETING DAN VARIASI PRODUK TERHADAP MINAT BELI KONSUMEN
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of E-Marketing Strategy and Product Variation on Consumer Purchase Interest in buying Herbal Products HNI HPAI BC 1 Palembang Branch. The variables used in this study, E-Marketing Strategy (X1), Product Variation (X2), Consumer Purchase Interest (Y). The population in this study were 75 customers of HNI HPAI BC 1 Palembang Branch who bought Herbal Products HNI HPAI BC 1 Palembang Branch. This type of research is quantitative. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing using the F test and t test. The regression results obtained the equation Y = 3.695 + 0.589 X1 + 0.299 X2. Which means that Consumer Purchase Interest is influenced by E-Marketing Strategies and Product Variations. The results of the F test obtain Fcount (480,870), meaning that there is an effect of E-Marketing Strategy and Product Variation simultaneously on Consumer Purchase Intention. The results of the t test for the E-Marketing Strategy variable obtained tcount (10.583), and the Product Variation variable obtained tcount (4.520), which means that the E-Marketing Strategy and Product Variation had a partial effect on Consumer Purchase Interest in buying Herbal Products HNI HPAI BC 1 Palembang Branch.
ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ECONOMIC VALUE ADDED (EVA) PADA PT. INDO FOOD SUKSES MAKMUR.TBK
The purpose of this study is find out the company's financial performance as well as information material for the public in investing in a company. As one of the measurements of financial performance is Economic Value Added (EVA) where this tool is used to measure the results of the company's financial performance as well as to find out whether the results of management or corporate financial decisions so far can increase or decrease the company's finances. From the results of this study it can be concluded that PT. Indo Food Sukkses Makmur Indonesia has a satisfactory financial performance, especially in 2017 and 2019 which has a positive EVA value, while for 2018 it has a negative EVA value due to an increase in cost of goods sold and financial costs in the use of short-term debt
IMPLEMENTATION OF KAHOOT ONLINE AND GOOGLE FORM TOWARD STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY COMPREHENSION ENHANCEMENT
Vocabulary is one of the fundamental components learned in language learning. The teachers should prepare good English materials to support the students’ learning activities during vocabulary instruction. Kahoot Online application and Google Form can be used as learning alternative to facilite the process of vocabulary instruction. This study was intended to find out (1) the students’ vocabulary achievement after being treated with Kahoot Online and Google and (2) the significant difference in implementing Kahoot Online Application and Google Form toward students’ vocabulary comprehension enhancement. The researcher used quasi-experimental method to conduct the research. The population of this study were all elementary students of SD Manggala in academic year 2020/2021. All fourth grade students had been involved in this study as the sample. The sample of this study used purposive sampling. The independent sample t-test results showed that the value significance (2-tailed) 0.096 was higher than the value significance 0.05. While, the value of t-obtained (1.319) was lower than t-table (1.6909) with degree of freedom was 34. In other words, there was no any significant difference on vocabulary comprehension between the third grade students of SD Manggala who were taught by using Kahoot Online Application strategy and Google Form (Vocabulary Quiz). UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS TEKS BERITA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE LATIHAN SISWA KELAS VIII MTs. AL WASILAH DESA SUKA MAKMUR KECAMATAN AIR KUMBANG KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks berita menggunakan metode latihan pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Al Wasilah. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan teknik dokumentasi, observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks berita menggunakan metode latihan. Hasil ketuntasan tes pada siklus I sebesar 44% dengan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 67,04 dalam kategori cukup. ANALISIS SOSIOLOGI SASTRA DALAM FOLKLORE PUTRI DAYANG MERINDU
Sosiologi sastra merupakan penelitian yang mengkaji hubungan karya sastra dengan manusia dalam masyarakat dan proses sosialnya. Folklore Putri Dayang Merindu cukup banyak mengandung unsur-unsur sosiologi sastra khususnya aspek etika, sosial, dan budaya. Rumusan masalah yang diambil yaitu bagaimana aspek etika, aspek sosial, dan aspek budaya yang terdapat dalam folklore Putri Dayang Merindu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan, mencari data dan informasi, serta menganalisis tentang aspek etika, aspek sosial, dan aspek budaya dalam folklore Putri Dayang Merindu. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dan jumlah data dalam folklore Putri Dayang Merindu ini terdapat beberapa aspek yaitu (1) Aspek etika yang terdapat dalam folklore Putri Dayang Merindu yaitu etika tanggung jawab sebanyak dua data, etika moral sebanyak tiga data, etika hati nurani sebanyak dua data, dan etika hak dan kewajiban sebanyak satu data. (2) Aspek sosial yang terdapat dalam folklore Putri Dayang Merindu yaitu interaksi sosial sebanyak tiga data. (3) Aspek budaya yang terdapat dalam folklore Putri Dayang Merindu yaitu sistem religi sebanyak satu data, bahasa sebanyak satu data, sistem peralatan hidup sebanyak tiga data, dan sistem mata pencaharian hidup sebanyak satu data. Hasil analisis sosiologis dalam folklore Putri Dayang Merindu paling banyak mengandung aspek etika. Kata Kunci: Sosiologi Sastra, Folklor
