Full text linkPalembang is famous for pempek. In addition, the city of Palembang has a unique characteristic, during the celebration of Independence Day, namely telok abang and telok ukan. However, lately, the commemoration of Independence Day in Palembang has not been as festive. telok abang and telok ukan increasingly difficult to find. The research conducted is descriptive qualitative research, namely research that describes the phenomenon of almost extinction of telok abang and telok ukan. Which is local wisdom as a tourist attraction in Palembang. Cultural tourism attraction is one of the superior values that can be developed by the Regional Government. Local wisdom can be included in the attraction of cultural tourism. local wisdom should be preserved and maintained. In local wisdom there is a historical value of the nation's personality. Maintained local wisdom will provide economic value for the community
IMPROVING STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY MASTERY THROUGH MAKE A MATCH TECHNIQUE TO THE SEVENTH GRADERS OF SMP NEGERI 40 PALEMBANG
Full text linkVocabulary is learned through focused, conscious study, but even more commonly in an indirect manner through listening, reading and using context clues to figure out the meaning. However, this kind of incidental learning is only possible if the amount of unknown words remains low. The purpose of this study was to find out whether or not Make a Match technique was effective to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. In conducting this study, the researchers used quasi experimental research design. Test was used as the technique for collecting data. The data were analyzed by using paired and independent sample t-test. The population was all the seventh graders of SMP Negeri 40 Palembang in the academic 2019/2020. The researchers used purposive sampling technique and took the classes of VII.9 and VII.10 as the sample of the study. The result showed that make a match was effective to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. It was found that the value of t-obtained was higher than the critical value of r-table or the t-obtained was 6.998 then t-table was 1.999. Based on the result of the analysis, it is claimed that make a match technique was effective to improve students’ vocabulary mastery to the seventh graders of SMP Negeri 40 Palembang. PROMOTING ENGAGE STUDY ACTIVATE (ESA) TECHNIQUE TO TEACH SPEAKING SKILL
Full text linkESA (Engage, Study, Activate) technique is one of alternative ways to teach EFL students how to speak in English, comprising three steps: engage, study, and activate. It is believed that this technique can assist the teachers in arousing students' interest, curiosity, and emotion, as well as encouraging them to orally express their feelings, information, and language. The goal of the research was to see whether there was a significant difference in speaking performance between the students who learned using ESA technique and those who were not. A quasi experimental research was administered as the design of the research. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. The researchers considered the number of the students and whether the sample was taught by the same English teacher as choosing the sample. The data was collected using an oral test. The data was analyzed using the t-test. Based on the result of independent sample t-test, it was found that tobtained was 3.174. It was higher than ttable (1.999). It indicated that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, it confirmed that the students who were taught using ESA technique had better speaking achievement than the students who were not taught using ESA technique. Full text linkAbstrak: Kondisi Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan setiap tempat untuk berkumpul agar melaksanakan protokol kesehatan, salah satunya adalah menjaga jarak (phisical distancing). Hal ini berdampak pada kapasitas daya tampung dari suatu ruangan yang telah ada, misalnya ruang pertemuan (aula). Penelitian ini menghitung tingkat keterisian dari suatu ruang pertemuan sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakannya renovasi dimasa pandemi. Metodelogi penelitian yang digunakan adalah membandingkan luasan dari kebutuhan ruang personal sebelum dan sesudah pandemi berdasarkan standar kebutuhan ruang. Ruang serbaguna ini memiliki ukuran 20 meter x 10 meter dan dilengkapi dengan ruang prefunction dan ruang tunggu yang menyatu dengan ruang sirkulasi. Hasilnya didapatkan pengurangan kapasitas daya tampung mencapai sekitar 50%. Kata kunci: kapasitas, aula, pandem

Like the research conducted by Rukayat regarding the Quality of Public Service in the Field of Population Administration in Pasir Jambu District. The results of his research indicate that the quality of public services in the field of population administration in Pasirjambu District, namely the Public Service section, has not provided good service to the community. However, the community is satisfied with the service in terms of reliability, namely reliability in handling any public complaints.The results of the study of quality and work attitudes on service performance and satisfaction in Sungai Pinang Ogan Ilir District showed the results of the path coefficients between variables having an influence at medium intervals. This means that the quality of service in this office must be further improved. Employee performance in serving the community must be improved again

Full text linkThe stock price is the price that is formed according to supply and demand in the stock market and is usually in the form of a closing price or known as the closing price. Stock prices are influenced by many factors, both micro and macroeconomic. For this reason, it is necessary to do research on the factors that affect stock prices. The aim of this research is to find out how much influence sales growth and liquidity have on stock prices in manufacturing companies, various industrial sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. Data collection techniques are carried out with documents, namely by downloading the financial statements of manufacturing companies in the various industrial sectors from 2015 to 2019 and then further processing them to be used as research samples. The population in this study found 24 companies and 9 samples of manufacturing companies in the various industrial sectors. The results of this study indicate that the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.116 or 11.6%, meaning that the effect of sales growth (X1) and liquidity (current ratio) (X2) on stock prices (Y) is 11.6% while the rest is 88.4% is influenced by other variables not mentioned in this research model. The statistical results also show that sales growth (X1) partially has no significant effect on stock prices (Y), liquidity (current ratio) (X2) partially has a significant effect on stock prices (Y). Simultaneously, sales growth (X1) and liquidity (current ratio) (X2) have no significant effect on stock prices (Y). PENGARUH DISIPLIN KERJA DAN KOMPENSASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. MINISO INTERNASIONAL COMPANI PALEMBANG
Full text linkAbstrak: Penelitian ini pada dasarnya membahas mengenai Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja dan Kompensasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. Miniso Internasional Compani Palembang. Dalam penulisan penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data secara primer yang diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dan menggunakan aplikasi statistik SPSS versi 22. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di PT. Miniso Internasional Compani Palembang berjumlah 36 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil keseluruhan dari jumlah populasi untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 36 orang. Dari hasil analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda maka dapat diketahui bahwa, 1)Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dimana tsig <0,05 dengan nilai Sig.0,003 <0,05 yang berarti variabel Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variable Kinerja Karyawan. 2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dimana tsig <0,05 dengan nilai Sig.0,001 <0,05 yang berarti variable Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variable Kinerja Karyawan. 3)Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan antara Disiplin Kerjadan Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dimana fsig < 0,05 dengan nilai Sig.0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti variable Disiplin Kerja dan Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variable Kinerja Karyawan. Koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,544 atau 54,4% variable kinerja dapat dijelaskan atau terdapat pengaruh dengan variabel Disiplin Kerja dan Kompensasi sedangkan sisanya 45,6 % berpengaruh dengan faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini seperti tanggung jawab, kerjasama dan lain-lain. RANCANG BANGUN BENTUK CHASIS DAN SISTEM REM GO-KART STANDAR RACE DENGAN PENGGERAK MOTOR BAKAR
Full text linkAbstrak: Gokart tidak bisa dikatakan hanya sekedar sejenis hiburan saja. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan dengan ketentuan panjang lintasan diambil 100M dan pengujian tersebut dilakukan 3 kali. Sedangkan spesifikasi dari mesin Gokart itu sendiri menggunakan mesin sepeda motor Suzuki shogun 4 tak 110cc. ketinggian dari Gokart itu adalah 8cm dari permukaan aspal. Untuk kinerja Gokart ini telah di uji dengan parameter operasi sebagai berikut kecepatan rata rata dan percepatan yang di perlukan untuk menempuh jarak 100 m adalah 60 km/jam. Sedangkan asusmsi dari berat penumpang yang di izinkan adalah 80 kg. dari data spesifikasi dan pengujian Gokart yang telah dilakukan dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu Gokart ini mengunakan mesin dengan daya maksimum 378 HP dan memiliki kecepatan rata rata 60 km/h . USING DROP EVERYTHING AND READ (DEAR) TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE READING COMPREHENSION OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT
Full text linkThe objective of this study was to find out whether or not there was any significant differences on reading comprehension of descriptive text between the tenth grade students’ of SMA Methodist 4 Talang Kelapa who were taught using DEAR technique and those who were not. A quasi experimental research design was used in this study. There were 70 students taken as the sample who were chosen by using purposive sampling technique, consisting of 35 students as the experimental group and 35 students as the control group. In collecting the data, reading comprehension test of Descriptive text was used. The result of independent sample t-test found that t-obtained 3,531 was higher than t-table 1,995 with the degree of freedom (df=68) and the signicant 2-tailed was 0,001. It meant that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It indicated that there was a significant difference on reading comprehension of descriptive text between students who were taught using DEAR technique and those who were not. Therefore, DEAR technique was effective to be used as a technique in teaching reading comprehension. Besides that, teaching reading through the DEAR technique also able to improve and maintain the students’ concentration, interest and enjoyment in reading the English text. Full text linkCooperatives need tools to determine the financial performance of cooperatives so that cooperative management can carry out their duties and obligations properly in accordance with the objectives of cooperatives in general. As a general guideline in knowing financial performance, it is necessary to have financial reports issued by cooperatives, to find out the success and problems experienced by cooperatives in managing their finances. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the financial performance of the Tridinanti Family Cooperative in 2015-2020. The type of data used is secondary data with data collection techniques in the form of financial balance reports and reports of remaining operating results. The results of the study concluded that the performance of the Tridinanti Family Cooperative for the last six years, from 2015 to 2020, was generally very good.
