No full textThe purpose of this project is seeking the viability for a center to be created that will improve the control of the soccer ball through Globus Eurogoal in the city of Quito. It started with an S.W.O.T. strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats analysis of the industry to help educate us. Through our quantitative and qualitative analysis, it was determined who our potential clients could be and what their needs are. The quantitative and qualitative analysis tools used were interviews, focus groups, and surveys. With extensive research, it was found that many parents were interested with the proposal. This opportunity is very unique in the ways that it presents sporting, academic, and psychological benefits for the children. The overall strategy was derived through our formulated marketing plan. Two target markets were present in our research, first being children and younger people and second being the parents. The value proposition and the creation of the marketing mix product, price, place and promotion. After, the implementation of the mission, vision and corporate objectives, organizational structure with its functions, and flowcharts with time analysis and value chain were executed. Lastly, a financial analysis was carried out with the goal of determining the income, expenses, service costs, initial investments, working capital, and other financial items. Within the project, the statement of income and financial positions, cash flows by means of investment analysis, evaluation of project and investor flows with the use of NPV, IR, IRR, and the recovery period was performed.Mediante este proyecto se busca determinar la viabilidad en la creación de un centro para el mejoramiento del control y dominio del balón de fútbol a través de Gobus Eurogoal en la ciudad de Quito. Se inició realizando un análisis de la industria para conocer oportunidades y amenazas que presenta la industria. Para conocer cuáles podrían ser los posibles clientes y sus necesidades se utilizaron métodos de investigaciones cualitativos y cuantitativos como son: entrevistas, Focus Group y encuestas. En la oportunidad de negocio se halló que los padres de familia en un gran porcentaje están muy interesados por esta propuesta de negocio, ya que es único y presenta muchos beneficios deportivos, académicos y psicológicos para sus hijos. También, se realizó un plan de marketing planteando una estrategia general, así se logró determinar los mercados objetivos, el primero de niños y jóvenes y el segundo a los padres de familia, la propuesta de valor y la creación del mix de marketing producto, precio, plaza y promoción. Luego se implanto la misión, visión y objetivos empresariales, estructura organizacional además de sus funciones, flujogramas incluyendo análisis de tiempos y cadena de valor. Por último, se ejecutó un análisis financiero para determinar los ingresos, gastos, costos del servicio, inversión inicial, capital de trabajo, entre otros rubros. Se utilizó el estado de resultados, estado de situación financiera y el flujo de efectico, mediante el método de análisis de inversiones se realizó la evaluación de flujos del proyecto y del inversionista utilizando el VAN, IR, TIR y el periodo de recuperación

No full textThe present work of titration was included in the analysis of quality defects of Arabian variety coffee (Coffea arabica) and robusta (Coffea canephora), using the artificial vision system, for which the MatLab programming language application tool was Implemented, in which a total of 80 images with different characteristics were analyzed. For the evaluation of the images an algorithm was created which generates exact data of what is required to analyze, for which in the case of evaluation of black grain defect the range of blue hue between a healthy grain and a defective was measured, which obtained an acceptable effectiveness, for the analysis of grain broca and snail was generated an algorithm that identified contours with different sizes, in this case a margin of difference was found which was found very close in comparison, which can generate a margin of error in the discrimination of these grains for which it was recommended to expand the number of samples analyzed, finally we evaluated the broken grains this algorithm obtained complete reliability to detect the totality of grains with defect. Subsequently, the microbial growth evaluation of grains with moisture of 11 percent and 15 percent was performed, for which the Gaugh methodology for the standardization of grain moisture and the direct platelet methodology for percentage growth of the micro-organism were used, In this process it was identified that the microbial growth is directly related to the moisture of the grain, an increase of 10 percent was found which in larger scale productions represents a considerable loss. Finally, the growth of microorganisms in defective grains was analyzed, which was potentiated in the vast majority, due to the wear that produces certain defects in the physical structure of the grain allowing the easy incubation of microorganisms.El presente trabajo de titulación se comprendió en el análisis de defectos de calidad de café variedad arábiga (Coffea arabica) y robusta (Coffea canephora), mediante el sistema de visión artificial, para lo cual se implementó la herramienta aplicativa de lengua de programación MatLab, en la cual se analizaron un total de 80 imágenes con diferentes características. Para la evaluación de las imágenes se creó un algoritmo el cuál genera datos exactos de lo que se requiere analizar, para lo cual en el caso de evaluación de defecto “grano negro” se midió el rango de tonalidad azul entre un grano sano y un defectuoso, el cuál obtuvo una efectividad aceptable, para el análisis de grano “broca” y “caracolilla” se generó un algoritmo que identifique contornos con diferentes tamaños, en este caso se encontró un margen de diferencia el cual se encontró muy cercano en la comparación, lo cual puede generar un margen de error en la discriminación de estos granos para lo cual se recomendó ampliar el número de muestras analizadas, finalmente se evaluó los granos “partidos” este algoritmo obtuvo completa confiabilidad al detectar la totalidad de granos con defecto. Posteriormente se realizó la evaluación de crecimiento microbiano de granos con humedades de 11 y 15 por ciento, para lo cual se utilizó la metodología de Gough para la estandarización de la humedad de los granos y la metodología de plaqueamiento directo para porcentualizar el crecimiento de los microorganismo, en este proceso se identificó que el crecimiento microbiano tiene relación directa con la humedad del grano, se encontró una alza de crecimiento de 10 por ciento lo cual en producciones a mayor escala representa una perdida considerable. Finalmente se analizó el crecimiento de microorganismo en granos defectuosos el cual se potencializó en su gran mayoría, esto debido al desgaste que producen ciertos defectos en la estructura física del grano permitiendo la fácil incubación de microorganismos

No full textSince its founding, Quito has been characterized by its various land use plans that have been carried out in the various Quito municipalities and have not been fully implemented. The expansion of Quito in recent years has caused a much elaborate plan to be required for its land use and urban planning. The most recent occurs in the Mayor is Office of Jorge Yunda with the Autonomy Statute Project for the Metropolitan District of Quito, which sees Quito, which is a very complex city due to its location, in a more particular way. The object of this paper is to analyze the design of public policies established in the mandate of Jorge Yunda, current mayor of the city of Quito. Through which it will be analyzed from an analytical framework, which will have causality, instrumentalization, intervention and evaluation as main factors. As these factors, the design of public policies is focused on areas of development, continuity, effectiveness and efficiency. Key Words: public policies, land use, urban planning, city hall, Quito Metropolitan Distract, Jorge Yunda.Desde su fundación Quito ha sido una que se ha caracterizado por sus diversos planes de ordenamiento territorial que se han ido ejecutando en las distintas alcaldías quiteñas y que no se han cumplido en su totalidad. La expansión de Quito de los últimos años ha causado que se requiera de un plan mucho más elaborado para su ordenamiento territorial y su planificación urbana. El más reciente se da en la Alcaldía de Jorge Yunda con el Proyecto de Estatuto de Autonomía para el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito, el cual ve a Quito, que es una ciudad muy compleja por su ubicación, de manera más particular. El siguiente trabajo tiene como finalidad el análisis del diseño de las políticas públicas establecidas en el mandato de Jorge Yunda, actual alcalde de la ciudad de Quito. Mediante el cual se analizará desde un marco analítico, que tendrá como principales factores la causalidad, instrumentalización, intervención y evaluación. Cómo gracias a estos factores el diseño de las políticas públicas se ve enfocado en ámbitos de desarrollo, continuidad, eficacia y eficiencia. Intervención arquitectónica interiorista de la hostería Río Blanco, creando un hotel Lodge Adventure
No full textThe project proposes the interior intervention of the Hostería Río Blanco located in San Miguel de los Bancos creating a Hotel Lodge Adventure. One of the main reasons for the implementation of a Lodge Hotel is to make use of the landscape in which it is surrounded, since it is located in the middle of the exuberant vegetation typical of the humid forest in the foothills of the western branch of the Los Andes mountain range. Andes, within the hydrographic sub-basin of the Blanco River and the Guayllabamba River, belongs to the ecosystem of cloud forest, subtropical humid forest and tropical humid forest. This is to modernize the place through a new hotel trend and take advantage of its surroundings, since open and closed areas will be proposed which depending on the need will be public, semi-public and private. A visual attraction will also be proposed through its façade, creating a play of light and proposing vertical gardens. The main objectives are to apply ergonomic and chromatic principles in the creation of interior spaces, which are functional and provide well-being to the user. Generate multifunctional spaces with resistant materials for the exterior, through the use of ecological materials inside, which in their collation and maintenance generate the minimum environmental impact; Renewable energy will also be incorporated through solar panels and a stormwater system.El proyecto propone la intervención interiorista de la Hostería Río Blanco ubicada en San Miguel de los Bancos creando un Hotel Lodge Adventure. Una de las principales razones de la implementación de un Hotel Lodge es hacer uso del paisaje en el que se encuentra envuelto, ya que está ubicado en medio de la exuberante vegetación propia del bosque húmedo en las estribaciones del ramal occidental de la cordillera de Los Andes, dentro de la subcuenca hidrográfica del río Blanco y del río Guayllabamba, pertenece al ecosistema de bosque nublado, bosque húmedo subtropical y bosque húmedo tropical. Con esto se pretende modernizar el lugar a través de una nueva tendencia de hotel y aprovechar su entorno, ya que se propondrá áreas abiertas y cerradas las cuales dependiendo la necesidad serán públicas, semipúblicas y privadas. También se va a proponer una atracción visual mediante su fachada creando un juego de luces y proponiendo jardines verticales. Los objetivos principales son aplicar principios ergonómicos y cromáticos en la creación de espacios interiores, que sean funcionales y que proporcionen bienestar al usuario. No full textThis business plan proposes the elaboration and export of soluble organic quinoa for people with gluten sensitivity in Spain, originated from the concept of taking advantage of the Ecuadorian agricultural potential in terms of Andean grains. The analysis of the external environment shows a favorable context for the industry, in which there are more opportunities than threats, highlighting the prevalence of a trade agreement between Ecuador and the European Union, the growth in exports of the tariff item under analysis and the consumption trends of the Spanish population. The customer analysis carried out through the application of the qualitative and quantitative methodology determined the tastes and preferences of the Spanish consumer with gluten sensitivity, which shows interest in the product, highlighting its versatility, naturalness, and nutritional content. This research allowed to determine the existing business opportunity and, consequently, to establish the appropriate strategies, target market and marketing mix. Subsequently, the business philosophy is defined based on a proposal for a vision, mission, and objectives in the medium and long term. While the organizational structures established based on the size of the business and the plan of operations necessary for its operation. Finally, the financial analysis and evaluation of the business is developed with a five-year projection. The results obtained show a positive NPV, IRR, profitability index and recovery period, both for the project and for the investor, demonstrating the feasibility of the project.El presente plan de negocios plantea la elaboración y exportación de quinua orgánica soluble dirigida a personas con sensibilidad al gluten de España, originado a partir del concepto de aprovechar el potencial agrícola ecuatoriano en cuanto a granos andinos. El análisis del entorno externo muestra un contexto favorable para la industria, en el que se presentan más oportunidades que amenazas, destacándose la prevalencia de un acuerdo comercial entre Ecuador y la Unión Europea, el crecimiento de las exportaciones de la partida arancelaria en análisis y las tendencias de consumo de la población española. El análisis del cliente realizado mediante la aplicación de la metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa determinó los gustos y preferencias del consumidor español con sensibilidad al gluten, el cual muestra interés por el producto, resaltando la versatilidad, naturalidad y contenido nutricional del mismo. Esta investigación permitió determinar la oportunidad de negocio existente y, en consecuencia, establecer las estrategias, el mercado objetivo y la mezcla de marketing adecuadas. Posteriormente, la filosofía empresarial se define en base a una propuesta de visión, misión y objetivos a mediano y largo plazo. Mientras que la estructura organizacional se establece en base al tamaño del negocio y al plan de operaciones necesario para su funcionamiento. Finalmente, se desarrolla el análisis y evaluación financiera del negocio con una proyección a cinco años. Los resultados obtenidos muestran un VAN, TIR, índice de rentabilidad y período de recuperación positivos, tanto para el proyecto como para el inversionista, demostrando la factibilidad del proyecto

No full textCurrently, new technological advances are presented every day, which is why this degree work aims to innovate and improve the way in which a network is managed using AP Routers. This project aims to facilitate network administrators the management of a data center, in addition to being focused on the inclusion of people with disabilities, since today companies with a number of twenty-five or more workers have the obligation to hire to a person with a disability. Therefore, through this implementation, we seek to benefit everyone who wishes to work in this area. For the development, an Access Point of the Cisco brand has been used, Meraki MR33 model that allows interaction with different platforms for its administration to be finely controlled by the user through a voice assistant. The implementation of the project will be installed in the Academic data center of the University of the Americas. Consequently, the university will have two projects with the same focus, where both Meraki devices and the UCS can be managed by voice commands. What is expected in the future is the implementation and incorporation of new projects related to the same theme (voice management), since administration would be facilitated, and management time would be optimized and a whole unified and voice-controlled network would be achieved.En la actualidad cada día se presentan nuevos avances tecnológicos, por lo cual mediante este trabajo de titulación se pretende innovar y mejorar la manera en cómo se administra una red mediante Routers AP. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo facilitar a los administradores de red el manejo de un data center, además de estar enfocado en la inclusión de personas con discapacidad, ya que hoy en día las empresas con un numero de veinticinco o más trabajadores tiene la obligación de contratar a una persona con discapacidad. Por lo tanto, por medio de esta implementación se busca beneficiar a toda persona que desee trabajar en esta área. Para el desarrollo, se ha utilizado un Access Point de la marca Cisco, modelo Meraki MR33 que permite la interacción con diferentes plataformas para su administración para finamente poder ser controlado por el usuario mediante un asistente de voz. La implementación del proyecto será instalada en el data center Académico de la Universidad de las Américas. Por consiguiente, la universidad contará con dos proyectos con un mismo enfoque, donde se podrá gestionar por comandos de voz tanto dispositivos Meraki como también el UCS. Lo que se espera a futuro es la implementación e incorporación de nuevos proyectos relacionados con la misma temática (gestión por voz), ya que se facilitaría la administración y optimizaría el tiempo de manejo y se lograría tener toda una red unificada y controlada por voz

No full textThis research details the development of a Communication Platform for the Monitoring and Management of Refuse Collection Vehicles, which aims to improve access to information on the proximity of the collection vehicle and to alert the inhabitants of the sector. The system allows the visualization of the routes of the garbage collection vehicle belonging to Metropolitan Enterprise EMASEO EP, which oversees collecting residential or industrial solid waste. The design and operation of the platform is developed based on the established design parameters, affiliated to a congruent location process. Through the platform, the operator of the garbage collection vehicle can manage the notification of incidents of any kind arising along the way (accidents, mechanical, logistical failures), on the other hand, the user has total openness towards the platform, which has a friendly interface corresponding to the route. The initial methodology of the system design shares its focus on establishing efficient routes. In this way, the good practices carried out on the platform do not compromise the logistics of the garbage collection vehicles to such an extent that they make erroneous trips as a result of poor handling of the platform, which is why it avoids the agglomeration of waste in the open air that can be harmful to health and that is generally the object of discomfort for the society in question.En la presente investigación se detalla el proceso de diseño de una Plataforma Web de Comunicación para el Monitoreo y Gestión de Vehículos Recolectores de Basura, el cual tiene por objetivo mejorar el acceso a la información de la cercanía del vehículo recolector y alertar a los moradores del sector..
Generación de diagramas de radiación para arreglos de antenas cúbicas usadas en mimo-3d
No full textCurrently, with the emergence of fifth generation (5G) mobile systems, a significant change is expected in the impact that technology has given our daily lives. In order to guarantee adequate reliability in wireless telecommunications systems and to increase transmission speeds, several techniques have been presented, among which are antenna arrangements. For 5G we propose the so-called massive MIMO configured in three-dimensional antenna arrays. There are several detection techniques when using antenna arrays. The detection technique that presents a better compromise between implementation complexity and performance is known as beamforming, with which the radiation beam from the antenna array can be pointed in a specific direction. For a better understanding of the behavior of this detection technique and its importance in future fifth generation networks, in this work we plot radiation diagrams for antennas arranged in a three-dimensional arrangement. For this we implement an algorithm in Matlab and analyze the geometric structure of one of the faces of the antenna array. A mathematical expression was found to determine the beam-steering vector of this face. Using Matlab, we generated the radiation diagrams in different scenarios and it was observed that when the number of antennas is increased, the radiation beam increases its directivity, the more antennas, the more directive.
