    PENGENALAN VARIETAS UNGGUL BARU PADI SAWAH BERBASIS PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI TERPADU DI DESA SELING, KECAMATAN KARANGSAMBUNG, KABUPATEN KEBUMEN

    Hasil produksi rata-rata padi di Kecamatan Karangsambung masih rendah yaitu 5,56 ton/Ha. Hal ini dikarenakan petani belum mengadopdi varietas unggul baru padi sawah dalam teknik budidayanya dan masih terbatas menggunakan varietas nasional Ciherang dan IR64. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Seling Kecamatan Karangsambung Kabupaten Kebumen ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan varietas unggul baru padi dengan teknik budidaya penerapan teknologi terpadu. Komponen teknologi yang paling mudah diadopsi petani adalah Varietas Unggul Baru (VUB) nasional. Varietas unggul adalah salah satu teknologi inovatif yang andal untuk meningkatkan produktivitas padi, melalui peningkatan potensi produksi maupun toleran terhadap cekaman biotik dan abiotik. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pengenalan berbagai macam jenis varietas unggul baru padi potensi hasil tinggi dan tahan terhadap hama penyakit yaitu padi varietas Inpari 30, Inpari 32, Inpari 33, Inpari 42, Inpari 43, Inpari 44, Siliwangi, Padjajaran dan Cakrabuana, penyuluhan, praktek dan bimbingan tentang pedoman teknis budidaya padi berbasis penerapan teknologi terpadu dan uji preferensi petani terkait karakter agronomis berbagai macam varietas unggul baru padi potensi hasil tinggi dan tahan terhadap hama penyakit. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini, petani menjadi mengerti akan penerapan teknologi terpadu pada budidaya padi sawah dan juga varietas Inpari 44 menjadi pilihan petani yang paling disukai karena hasil dan performa tanaman tersebut yang lebih tinggi dari varietas yang lainnya.     Limousin is one of the beef cattle breeds of the Taurus boss which was successfully devised and developed in France. In the maintenance of one of the management that is considered is care / nail cutting. Cutting is done to maintain performance while climbing teasher cow when semen collection process, avoid or prevent the nail grows abnormally, the limping leg, footrot (nail rot) and laminitis. The purpose of this paper is to describe the technique of cutting nails in Limousin bulls. Implementation methods of data collection by observation, interviews and secondary data collection.     Prediksi Pengoperasian Traktor di Lahan Kering Menggunakan Artificial Neural Network

    Soil water content is an important parameter in making a decision to use a tractor or not. The process of measuring soil water content and levels of field capacity in conventional which takes a long time and cannot be used in real-time to measure it is a major problem in the field. Determinants of soil water content such as ambient temperature, humidity, and rainfall can be obtained easily and quickly either by using a tool or retrieving data from the nearest BMKG station. The objective of this research is to obtain the most optimal prediction model in making decisions about tractor operation in dry land. This research uses an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) in modeling predictions of tractor operation. Prediction of tractor operation is a prediction of tractor use on a certain day using input data obtained before the day of tractor use. ANN modeling uses the back-propagation supervised learning method. The best ANN model used four hidden neurons with a learning coefficient of 0.2, a momentum of 0.8 and 20,000 iterations. This model has been able to provide optimal predictions with an accuracy value of 77%. The ANN model has been successful in predicting tractor operation on dry land using the back-propagation supervised learning method

    Penggunaan Compost Tea Diinduksi Inokulum Fungi Lignoselulolitik Pada Media Tanam Cocopeat Terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Kailan (Brassica oleracea L.).

    Compost tea is a compost extract that has many nutrients. In addition, the planting medium is also important in plant cultivation. Cocopeat is very suitable for growing media because it can store nutrients and water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving compost tea induced by lignocellulolytic fungi on cocopeat media on the growth of kailan (Brassica oleracea L.) and to determine the type of compost tea and the best media composition on the growth of kailan plants. This research was conducted from May to July 2020 in the greenhouse of the Integrated Field Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. The research was conducted factorial using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, factor I was compost tea (A) with 2 levels of treatment, namely: compost tea aeration (A1) and compost tea nonaeration (A2). The second factor is the planting medium (B) with 3 levels of treatment ratio, namely: cocopeat and soil with a ratio of 2: 1 (B1); 1: 1 (B2); 1: 2 (B3) to obtain 6 treatment units. The control was not part of the treatment but the control was included in the graph as a comparison between treatments. The treatment was repeated 4 times. The parameters observed were plant height. The measurement data obtained were tested by the ANARA test. If there are differences in treatment, continue with the Tukey's test. The results showed that compost tea aerated (ACT) gave a higher average yield compared to compost tea noneration (NACT) while the composition of the planting medium for cocopeat: soil = 1: 2 gave a higher average yield than other media compositions.  Compost tea merupakan ekstrak kompos yang memiliki banyak nutrisi. Selain itu media tanam juga penting dalam budidaya tanaman. Cocopeat sangat cocok untuk dijadikan media tanam karena mampu menyimpan nutrisi dan air. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui compost tea yang diinduksi jamur lignoselulolitik pada media tanam cocopeat terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kailan (Brassica oleracea L.) dan untuk mengetahui jenis compost tea dan komposisi media terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kailan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2020 di green house Laboratorium Lapangan Terpadu Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Lampung. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara faktorial menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 2 faktor, Faktor I adalah compost tea (A) dengan 2 taraf  perlakuan yaitu : compost tea aerasi (A1) dan compost tea nonaerasi (A2). Faktor II adalah media tanam (B) dengan 3 taraf perlakuan rasio, yaitu : cocopeat dan tanah dengan perbandingan 2:1 (B1); 1:1 (B2); 1:2 (B3) sehingga diperoleh 6 unit perlakuan. Kontrol bukan bagian dari perlakuan tetapi kontrol dimasukkan dalam grafik sebagai pembanding antar perlakuan. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan kandungan klorofil. Data hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh diuji dengan uji ANARA. Apabila ada perbedaan pada perlakuan, dilanjutkan uji Tukey’s untuk melihat perbedaan antar perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa compost tea aerasi (ACT) memberikan hasil yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan compost tea nonaerasi (NACT) sedangkan komposisi media tanam cocopeat : tanah = 1: 2 memberikan hasil yang lebih tinggi.   Kata Kunci : Brassica oleracea L.     Shallots are mostly developed with tubers as planting material, even though they have many disadventages. An alternative that can be done is to use seeds in the form of botanical seeds (True Shallot Seed/TSS), but there is still a long nursery time. This study aims to obtain the concentration and soaking time of the gibberellin on the germination and growth of shallot seedlings. The research was conducted using a single factor experimental method that arranged in a completely randomized design. The treatments were 4 gibberellins concentrations i.e. 2, 4, 6 and 8 ppm which were immersed for 12 and 24 hours, with 3 replications and each replication consisted of 5 sample. The observed variables were germination, vigor index, height of plant, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight and dry weight of seedling. The results of the research showed that a gibberellin with a concentration of 2 ppm with soaking time of 24 hours was able to increase the germination and vigor index of shallot seeds, and as well as increase the growth of shallot seedlings.  Penggunaan umbi bawang merah sebagai bahan tanam banyak kelemahan baik dari aspek kualitas, ekonomi, penyimpanan, proteksi maupun produktivitas tanaman. Satu alternatif yang dapat dikembangkan untuk perbaikan kualitas semai bawang merah adalah menggunakan benih berupa biji botani True Shallot Seed (TSS). Penggunaan benih berupa biji bawang merah sebagai bahan tanam masih mengalami kendala yaitu lamanya waktu persemaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi dan lama perendaman larutan giberelin yang tepat pada perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan semai bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L). Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode percobaan faktor tunggal yang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah konsentrasi giberelin yang terdiri atas 4 aras yaitu 2, 4, 6 dan 8 ppm yang direndam selama 12 dan 24 jam. Setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 3 tanaman sampel dan 2 tanaman korban. Variabel yang diamati yaitu, daya kecambah, indeks vigor, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot segar semai dan bobot kering semai. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian larutan giberelin dengan konsentrasi 2 ppm dengan lama perendaman 24 jam sudah mampu meningkatkan daya kecambah dan indeks vigor bawang merah, serta meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman bawang merah

    Pewilayahan Komoditas Pertanian Berdasarkan Zona Agroekologi Di Kabupaten Cirebon Bagian Timur: Zoning of Agricultural Commodities Based on Agroecological Zones in Eastern Cirebon Regency

    Zoning of agricultural commodities in Cirebon Regency is needed in the framework of determining and developing superior commodities that have comparative advantages. The aim of this research is to arrange the zoning of agricultural commodities based on the agroecological zone in Cirebon Regency. The research location includes 16 sub-districts in the eastern part of Cirebon Regency, covering an area of ​​54.015 ha. The methods used in the research include: surveys, laboratory analysis, land evaluation and spatial analysis. The results obtained 10 agricultural systems and 30 commodity zoning units which include: a) wetland agriculture, with commodities of lowland rice, shallots, sugar cane, corn and soybeans, b) dry land agriculture, food crops, with upland rice and corn commodities, c) dry land agriculture, animal feed (grass), d) dry land agriculture, food crops (upland rice, maize, peanuts, soybeans) and perennial crops (sugarcane, teak, sengon), e) agriculture dry land, food crops (upland rice, maize, soybean), horticulture (mango), and perennial crops (sugarcane and sengon), (f) dry land agriculture, perennial crops (sugarcane and sengon) and food crops ( upland rice, maize, and peanuts), (g) dry land agriculture, annual crops/plantations with sengon commodities, (h) brackish water fishery (shrimp or milkfish pond), (i) wetland forest as a buffer zone, and (j) dry land forest as a conservation zone.     Pengaruh Tepung Kiambang (Salvinia molesta) Terfermentasi dalam Ransum terhadap Karkas Itik Peking (Anas platyrhynchos domesticus)

    This study aims to analyze the use of fermented kiambang flour (Salvinia molesta) on rations against the quantity of peking duck carcasses. This research was conducted in the livestock cage of Lampung State Polytechnic. The research method carried out is a descriptive method. Data collection is done by taking samples from controls and treatment with a total of 15 ducks each at the end of maintenance. The result the treatment given in addition to 15% fermented kiambang flour in rations produces carcass weight (714.26 g), carcass percentage (52.49%), chest percentage (29.08%), thigh percentage (26.37 %), winged percentage (16.92 %) and abdominal fat percentage (0.77 %).     Identifikasi Isolat Rizobakteri Indigenos Potensial Sebagai Agens Biokontrol Ganoderma boninense

    Rhizobacteria is a group of bacteria that colonize roots, affect growth and control plant pathogens. Based on the results of previous studies, 6 isolates have the best ability to control Ganoderma boninense in oil palm seedlings. It is important to characterize them molecularly. Molecular identifications of the selected rhizobacteria isolates were done using the 16S rRNA gene. The results showed that all isolates were identified to have similarity as 5 different species i.e Bacillus paramycoides, Microbacterium paraoxydans, B. albus, B. cereus, and Serratia marcescens based on NCBI database.Rhizobacteria was group of bacteria that colonize roots, affect growth and control plant pathogensBased on the results of previous studies, 6 isolates have the best ability to control G. boninense in oil palm seedlings. To determine the ability of these isolates, characterization needs to be done. This study aims to identify the molecular isolates of selected rhizobacteria indigenous that act as biocontrol agents G. boninense. Molecular identification of selected rhizobacteria isolates using the 16S rRNA gene. The results showed that All RBI isolates were identified as different species of Bacillus paramycoides strain MCCC (RZ1A 2.1), Microbacterium paraoxydans strain CF36 (RZ2B 1.1), Bacillus albus strain MCCC 1A02146 (RZ2C 2.1), Bacillus cereus strain JCM 2152 (RZ2E 2.1), Serratia marcescens strain NBRC 102204 (RZ2E 1.2), Bacillus cereus ATCC 14579 (RZ1E 2.1)

    Growth and Production of Hydroponics Chinese Flat Cabbage With Ab Mix Concentration and Android Based Monitoring

    Hydroponic cultivation is an alternative choice for people who plant various types of plants that can be consumed by themselves every day. In addition, hydroponics is one way to grow crops on a large scale without requiring land that is very suitable for cultivation in urban areas. However, this system has several drawbacks, namely, hydroponics really requires a controlled environment, such as monitoring the degree of water acidity, water temperature, and water nutrient density. It needs to be monitored and controlled to avoid a decrease in plant quality. Several ways can be done by using manual measuring tools which actually take time if the hydroponic system is on a large scale, the alternative is to use an Android-based control and monitoring system. This study aims to examine the effect of the best AB Mix nutrient concentration on the growth and production of Sawi Pagoda with the NFT hydroponic system and to control pH, temperature, humidity and nutrients automatically using the Ardiuno Uno sensor. This research was conducted at Rootop PS. Plantation Cultivation from August to October 2020. The design used was a completely randomized design consisting of one factor, namely the concentration of AB mix nutrients consisting of 2 levels: A1: 1000 ppm: 1200 ppm: 1400 ppm (given according to the age of the plant per / week) and A2: 1100 ppm: 1300 ppm: 1500 ppm (given according to plant age per / week). The research was repeated as many as 20 replications so that there were 40 experimental units. The results showed that the A1 treatment level with the concentration of AB Mix nutrient solution (1000 ppm: 1200 ppm: 1400 ppm) was the best treatment level for the increase in plant height and number of leaves on the 2nd and 3rd week and the final plant weight. The hydroponic Nutrient Film Technique system can be monitored and controlled automatically by Arduino, making it easier to control temperature, humidity, ppm of nutrients, and nutrient pH.   Keywords: AB mix, Hydroponics, Mustard PagodaBudi daya hidroponik menjadi alternatif pilihan bagi masyarakat yang ini menanam berbagai jenis tumbuhan yang bisa dikonsumsi sendiri setiap harinya. Selain itu hidroponik adalah salah satu cara untuk menanam tanaman dalam skala besar  tanpa memerlukan lahan yang sangat cocok untuk dibudi dayakan di daerah perkotaan. Namun, sistem ini mempunyai beberapa kekurangan yaitu, hidroponik sangat membutuhkan lingkungan yang terkontrol, seperti pemantauan derajat keasaman air, suhu air, dan kepekatan nutrisi air perlu dipantau dan dikontrol untuk menghindari penurunan kualitas tanaman.  Beberapa cara dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur manual yang sebenarnya menyita waktu jika sistem hidroponik dalam sekala besar salah alternatifnya adalah dengan menggunakan sistem kontrol dan monitoring berbasis android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengkaji pengaruh konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix yang terbaik  terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman Sawi Pagoda dengan  sistem hidroponik NFT  dan mengontrol pH, suhu, kelembaban dan nutrisi secara  otomatis dengan menggunakan  sensor Ardiuno Uno. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rootop PS. Budidaya Tanaman Perkebunan dari  dari bulan Agustus sampai Oktober  2020.  Rancangan yang digunakan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu konsentrasi Nutrisi AB mix terdiri dari 2 taraf: A1 : 1000 ppm : 1200 ppm : 1400 ppm (diberikan sesuai dengan umur tanaman per/minggu) dan A2 : 1100 ppm : 1300 ppm  : 1500 ppm (diberikan sesuai dengan umur tanaman per/minggu).  Penelitian   diulang sebanyak 20 ulangan  sehingga ada 40 satuan percobaan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa taraf perlakuan A1 dengan pemberian konsentrasi  larutan nutrisi AB Mix (1000 ppm : 1200 ppm : 1400 ppm) merupakan taraf perlakuan terbaik terhadap pertambahan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun pada minggu ke-2 dan ke-3 serta pada bobot akhir tanaman.  Hidroponik sistem Nutrient Film Technique dapat dimonitoring dan dkontrol secara otomatis oleh arduino sehingga mempermudah dalam pengontrolan suhu, kelembaban, ppm nutrisi, dan pH nutrisi.
