    Manajemen usaha Ayam Pedaging Jantan dan Betina dengan Penambahan Suplemen Organik Cair

    This study aims to determine the growth of broiler chickens and analyze the feasibility of broiler farming with the addition of liquid organic supplements. Liquid organic supplements (SOC) or also called probiotics contain Lactobacillus sp, Azetobacter sp, Basiluss sp, vitamins, and minerals. SOC can increase antibodies, reduce stress levels, suppress the onset of disease, help stimulate appetite, and accelerate the growth of broiler chicken. Broilers are divided into 4 treatments female broilers without SOC, male broilers without SOC, female broilers with the addition of SOC, and treatment of male broilers with the addition of SOC. Based on the results and discussion the highest PBB is obtained by male chicken with SOC. Feasibility analysis shows that all treatments are feasible, B/C (3.11) and R/C (3.18) values of treatments added by SOC are higher than treatments without SOC.Keywords: Broiler, Feasibility Analysis, SO

    Green bean sprouts are rich in vitamin E needed by native chickens to increase egg production. The research was carried out in the native chicken cage at Department of Animal Husbandry, State Polytechnic of Lampung took place from April to July 2018. The study aimed to analyze the production of native chicken eggs that supplemented with green bean sprouts. 60 female and 12 male native chickens were used in the study randomized into 12 maintenance plots with male ratios: female = 1: 5. The treatment applied was R0 = 0% green bean sprouts and R1 = 0.5% green bean sprouts. The effect of the treatment tested on the observed variables was analyzed by the student’s t-test statistical model. The results obtained showed that supplementation of green bean sprouts in native chickens feed resulted in higher productivity. Keywords: native chicken, green bean sprout

    Local raw material-based agro-industry development is a strategy that can help optimize the potential that exists in agricultural areas to encourage economic growth. Ginger is a biopharma plant which is ranked first with the highest production level in the last three years. Ginger production in Lampung Province among other medicinal plants shows the highest order with an average production of 8.71%. Delima Farmer Women Group in Banjar Negeri Village, Way Lima Subdistrict, Pesawaran District, has utilized ginger rhizome as an herbal drink. This study aims to: (1) Determine the added value of Herbal brown sugar agroindustry products in the Banjar Negeri village of Way Lima sub-district, Pesawaran District. (2) Knowing the level of profit of sugar ant sugar agroindustry in Banjar Negeri village, Way Lima sub-district, Pesawaran District. Site selection was made intentionally using the Non-Probability Sampling method with Purposive Sampling. The data used includes primary data and secondary data — the study conducted in August 2017. The analysis carried out included added value, financial feasibility.     Pengaruh Electrical Conductivity (EC) Larutan Nutrisi Hidroponik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Melon (Cucumis melo L.)

    This research aims to obtain EC values that produce the best plant growth. This study used five EC treatment of nutrients ( 1 mS / cm, 2 mS / cm, 3 mS / cm, 4 mS / cm, and 5 mS / cm). Each treatment was applied to the randomized block design (RBD) with 4 replications and the least significant diference (LSD) was used to separate means at 0,05 significant level.. Based on the results of data analysis it is known that the best EC value for melon growth is 5 mS / cm, because it produces plant height and number of leaves more higher than EC 1 mS / cm and 2 mS / cm, but as good as EC 3 mS / cm and 4 mS / cm in the 5 week after planting. Besides that EC 5 mS / cm also produces leaf width more higher than EC 1 mS / cm but as good as EC 2 mS / cm, EC 3 mS / cm and 4 mS / cm in the 7 week after planting. However, if you consider the many uses of nutrients during the cultivation process, the best EC is EC 3 mS / cm. Keywords : EC, hydroponic, melon, nutrien

    Seed quality has a major effect on the productivity of oil palm plantations. To get oil palm seedlings with growth according to the standard is influenced by the planting medium and maintenance treatment applied in the nursery. This study aims to obtain alternative seedling containers and planting medium that can be used in oil palm nursery. The treatment was arranged factorially in a randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. The first factor is the type of seedling containers (baby polybag, Hyplug 20-VS, Hyplug SH-24, and Hyplug-VS); while the second factor is the composition of the planting medium in the ratio v / v (sub soil 25%: cocopeat 75%, sub soil 50%: cocopeat 50%, and sub soil 75%: cocopeat 25%). The variables observed were: seed height, leaf number, and stem diameter. Observed data were tested by analysis of variance and continued with DMRT test at the level of α = 5%. The results showed that there was an interaction between the type of seedling container and the planting medium on the number of leaves of oil palm seedlings. The type of planting medium that has a wider volume and filled with planting medium containing more cocopeat can increase the leaf number of oil palm seedlings. Seedling container that have a wider volume can increase leaf number and stem diameter. Planting medium containing more cocopeat can increase leaf number and stem diameter.     Pengaruh Aplikasi Paclobutrazol dan KNO3 Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Pembungaan Anggrek Tebu (Grammatophyllum speciosum blume)

    The Grammatophyllum speciosum is a rare orchid and it is protected. It has a big clump, with the numbers of buds about 50-100 in each stem and its flower has yellow color with red brownish spots. The sugarcane orchid is very good to be used for the parent in producing hybrid orchid, however Grammatophyllum speciosum is very difficult to bloom, so that it requires a flowering induction. The objective of this research was to find out whether the paclobutrazol and KNO3 application can accelerate the flowering of Grammatophyllum speciosum. This research used completely randomized design with some factorials. The first factor was the concentrations of paclobutrazol of 0 mg.1-1, 1000 mg.1-1, 2000 mg.1-1, and 3000 mg.1-1. The second factor was the concentrations of KNO3 of 0 mg.1-1, 500 mg.1-1, 1000 mg.1-1, and 2000 mg.1-1. Each treatment combination was repeated three times. The treatment application was started from the 1 week orchid after the orchid was moved from one pod to another. The paclobutrazol spraying was conducted 4 times in 2 weeks interval, and KNO3 spraying was conducted 8 times in 1 week interval. The observation was made a day before application and 1 month after application. Variables to observe included numbers of vegetation, buds, vegetation height, bulb stem height, bud height, stem circumference, and numbers of leafs. The research result showed that the paclobutraziol and KNO3 applications were not able to induce flowering of Grammatophyllum speciosum.     Karakteristik Fisik Pakan Wafer berbasis Bungkil Inti Sawit

    Wafers are one form of processed feed that is formed in such a way with special tools, made from concentrate or forage with the aim of reducing the craving properties of feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical characteristics of palm kernel cake-based wafer feed. The design used is a 4 x 3 factorial design, with treatment; 4 different wafer feed formulas and 3 different thickness sizes.Observations made include water content, density, water absorption. The results showed that based on the results of physical quality test (moisture content of 15.66 ± 0.79a, density of 0.75 ± 0.05tn, water absorption of 185.76 ± 3.85b) wafers with formula 2 thickness of 4 cm gave physical appearance the best wafer.     Perubahan Penggunaan Lahan dan Sosial Ekonomi Rumahtangga Petani Terdampak Gempa Bumi, Likuifaksi, dan Tsunami di Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah

    Changes in agricultural land after the earthquake, soil liquefaction, and tsunami in Central Sulawesi Province affected the socio-economic conditions of the community. This research aimed to analyze changes in paddy land use and socio-economic conditions after the earthquake, soil liquefaction, and tsunami. The research was conducted purposively in Sigi and Donggala districts by using cross-section data of 503 farmer groups. The method used was descriptive and economic analysis. The results showed that there was a decrease in the area of agricultural land from 30 363.3 hectares to 7 356.08 hectares. Before the earthquake, the land was used for rice, corn and horticultural farming, while after the disaster, the land was only used for horticultural and cocoa farming activities. The socioeconomic changes in households affected by the disaster were the decrease in farming activities (on-farm to off-farm) and the average monthly income in the non-agricultural sector became higher than the agricultural sector.     Seleksi dan Evaluasi Sorgum Mutan Generasi M2 Hasil Radiasi Sinar Gamma untuk Peningkatan Karakter Biomassa

    Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) is a cereal plant that can adapt to dry area so it has the potential to be developed in Indonesia. Sorghum has many benefits, namely as food, feed and industry. One of the ingredients in sorghum that can be used for industrial materials is lignin which can be used in the manufacture of particleboard and briquettes. In previous studies, selection of lignin content was carried out on 30 genotypes of sorghum and obtained the genotype with the highest lignin content, namely KS (Konawe Selatan). However, the KS genotype has low biomass, so improvements need to be made to increase biomass. Mutation is one way to increase genetic diversity. The purpose of this study was to obtain a sorghum mutant line that had characteristics related to biomass such as plant height, stem diameter and stem weight that were better than the parent. The research was carried out in July – November 2019 at the Citayam Experimental Field. The genetic material used was the M2 mutant lines of 300, 400 and 500 Gy gamma irradiation and 0 Gy control plants. A total of 50 panicles per gray were planted one row per panicle and the agronomic characters were observed. The agronomy observed on the M2 mutant line showed that the population of the 300 Gy mutant line had a wider range of values ​​than the 400 and 500 Gy populations and control. The 300 Gy mutant population also had a higher mean value than the 400 and 500 Gy mutant populations as well as the control on plant height 309.18 cm (control 305.33 cm), stem diameter 24.09 mm (control 19.37 mm), stem weight 860.73 g (control). 507.10 g), panicle length 42.55 cm (control 39.95 cm) and panicle weight 95.52 g (control 64.50 g). Mutations with gamma ray radiation can increase genetic diversity and selection in the M2 mutant lines obtained lines that have plant height, stem diameter and stem weight are better than the control which shows an increase in biomass. Sorgum (Sorghum bicolor L.) merupakan tanaman serealia yang dapat beradaptasi di lahan kering sehingga cukup potensial untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia.  Sorgum memiliki banyak manfaat yaitu sebagai bahan pangan, pakan dan industri.  Salah satu kandungan dalam sorgum yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk bahan industri adalah lignin yang dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan particle board dan briket.  Pada penelitian sebelumnya telah dilakukan seleksi kandungan lignin terhadap 30 genotipe sorgum dan diperoleh genotipe dengan kandungan lignin tertinggi yaitu KS (Konawe Selatan). Namun genotipe KS memiliki biomassa yang masih rendah, sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan biomassa.  Mutasi merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan keragaman genetik.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan galur mutan sorgum yang memiliki karakter yang berhubungan dengan biomassa seperti tinggi tanaman, diameter batang dan bobot batang lebih baik dibanding kontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli – November 2019 di Kebun Percobaan Citayam.   Materi genetik yang digunakan adalah galur mutan M2 dari radiasi sinar gamma 300, 400 dan 500 Gy dan tanaman kontrol 0 Gy.  Sebanyak 50 malai setiap gray ditanam satu baris per malai dan diamati karakter agronominya. Pengamatan agronomi pada galur mutan M2 menunjukkan bahwa populasi galur mutan 300 Gy memiliki nilai kisaran yang lebih luas dibanding populasi 400 dan 500 Gy serta kontrol.  Populasi mutan 300 Gy juga memiliki nilai rataan yang lebih tinggi dibanding populasi mutan 400 dan 500 Gy serta kontrol pada karakter tinggi tanaman 309.18 cm (kontrol 305.33 cm), diameter batang 24.09 mm (kontrol 19.37 mm) , bobot batang 860.73 g (kontrol 507.10 g) , panjang malai 42.55 cm (kontrol 39.95 cm) dan bobot malai 95.52 g (kontrol 64.50 g).  Mutasi dengan radiasi sinar gamma dapat meningkatkan keragaman genetik dan seleksi pada galur mutan M2 diperoleh galur-galur yang memiliki tinggi, diameter batang dan bobot batang lebih baik dari kontrol yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan biomassa

    Analisis Rasio Keuangan untuk Memprediksi Financial Distress pada PT Austen Jaya di Bandar Lampung

    The purpose of this study was to predict financial distress using financial ratio analysis at PT AUSTEN JAYA in Bandar Lampung. The ratio analysis used is the current ratio, return on assets, and leverage. The research data used was obtained directly through interviews and equipped with financial reports for four years from 2018 to 2021. The research method used is descriptive method on the results of financial ratio analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that returns on assets decreased continuously from 10.05% in 2018 to 9.04% in 2019, and fell again in 2020 by 6.15%, and there was a slight increase in 2021 to 6.25%. This situation describes the prediction of the occurrence of financial distress in accordance with the results of previous studies that profitability affects the prediction of financial distress. Another thing that supports is the curent ratio which continues to decline on the other hand, the leverage continues to increase. This situation shows the existence of financial difficulties indicated by the company's inability to earn profits, difficulty paying obligations, and the company's financing is increasingly dependent on outside parties. It is hoped that the company will immediately take steps to improve its finances, especially be careful with debt and secondly, do efficiency seriously
