    Produktivitas Ayam Petelur Strain Isa Brown Pada Umur 24 – 28 Minggu

    Laying hens are adult hens that are specially kept for their eggs. This chicken has a high egg production capability. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the level of productivity of ISA Brown strain laying hens aged 24-28 weeks, by calculating and comparing ration consumption standards, Hen Day Production (HDP), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), and mortality in laying hens CV Bisco Farm Talang Jawa Village, Merbau Mataram District, South Lampung Regency. The method used in the preparation is directly involved in conducting maintenance, discussion, study literature, and direct interviews.     Pemodelan Loyalitas Konsumen Berdasarkan Kepuasan Terhadap Atribut Produk Madu Suhita

    The purpose of this study is to analyze what factors affect consumer satisfaction with Suhita honey, analyze what factors affect consumer loyalty Suhita honey, analyze the effect of satisfaction on consumer loyalty Suhita honey, describe a model of consumer loyalty on product attributes of Suhita honey. This research was conducted by survey method and direct observation. The sampling method in this study will be carried out using the accidental sampling method. The analytical techniques used are descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results showed that only two variables had a significant effect, namely the product quality variable with P-values ​​of 0.033 (<0.05) and the service quality variable with P-values ​​of 0.031 (<0.05). Meanwhile, the price variable has no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, seen from the P-values ​​of 0.815 (> 0.05). Furthermore, for the test results whether there is an influence between consumer satisfaction on consumer loyalty shows a significant influence seen from the value with P-values ​​of 0.000 (<0.05), meaning that satisfaction has an effect on consumer loyalty

    Banana is a fruit that is widely consumed by the community. Cavendish banana is one of the interesting bananas to be bought by consumers. Many consumers did not know aboutCavendish bananas, so it made demand of cavendish decrease. Therefore, this study is aimedto identify the character of consumers, the process of making choices, and consumer attitudesto Cavendish bananas in the modern market of Bandar Lampung City. This study used surveymethods and questionnaires as research instruments. A total of 100 consumers from variousmodern markets in Bandar Lampung were involved in this study. The study data were analyzedusing Microsoft excels formulas. The findings showed that the characteristics of consumerswho bought Cavendish bananas were 70% women and 30% were men and high schoolgraduates were the most buyers with 45%. Then in the process of choosing Cavendishbananas, more than 50% of consumers chose Cavendish bananas for delicious taste and healthbenefit.     Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of important crops in current era because the crop produce staple food for more than half of world population. Rice cultivation has been facing many obstacles to reach the expected yield. One the causes is the attack of rice pests causing damages on vegetative and generative stages of the crop, and these would lead to yield reduction. The purpose of this research was to determine the method of cultivating rice plants and arthropods and the level of pest attack. This research was carried out in May 2021 with a survey method on five different rice fields in Bumi Agung Village by interviewing farmers to obtain information about farmers' behavior in rice cultivation and observing insect pests in rice plantations. The results obtained from field practice were the discovery of three pests in rice plants, namely Oxya chinensis, Acrida cinerea, dan Atherigona sp. The control carried out by farmers in controlling pest attacks is in the form of jajar legowo, technical culture such as land management, fertilization, weeding and others which are included in integrated pest control (IPM).From the observational data analyzed that the application of integrated pest control (IPM) has proven to have an impact on reducing pest attacks where out of 5 paddy fields that were observed, the 5th land belonging to Mr. Agus was found to have few insect pests and weeds in his rice fields with an average of 0%.  Tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman budidaya yang sangat penting karena merupakan tanaman pangan yang                    menghasilkan bahan makanan berupa beras dan telah menjadi makanan pokok lebih dari setengah penduduk dunia. Budidaya tanaman padi masih sering menghadapi kendala dalam mencapai produksi yang diharapkan. Salah satu penyebabnya ialah serangan hama tanaman padi yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada masa vegetatif maupun generatif yang dapat menurunkan hasil panen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui cara budidaya tanaman padi, spesies arthropoda serta tingkat serangan hama di Desa Bumi Agung, Kecamatan Lempuing. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2021 dengan metode survei pada lima lahan sawah yang berbeda di Desa Bumi Agung dengan cara mewawancarai petani untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang perilaku petani dalam budidaya tanaman padi dan mengamati serangga hama yang ada di pertanaman padi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukannya tiga hama yang berada di tanaman padi antara lain Oxya chinensis, Acrida cinerea, dan Atherigona sp. Pengendalian yang dilakukan oleh petani dalam mengendalikan serangan hama berupa jajar legowo, kultur teknis seperti pengolahan lahan, pemupukan, penyiangan gulma dan lainnya yang termasuk ke dalam pengendalian hama terpadu (PHT). Hasil pengamatan yang dianalisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pengendalian  hama terpadu (PHT) terbukti  menurunkan serangan hama di 5 lahan sawah yang dilakukan observasi, dan lahan ke-5 tidak   ditemukan serangga hama dan gulma di persawahannya

    White shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the economically important shrimp that has several advantages including tolerance of water conditions, can grow quickly, and thick flesh. One of the problems in white shrimp cultivation is the slow growth of white shrimp due to inappropriate feed management. The addition of grampositive bacteria to the feed is scientifically believed to increase the growth of white shrimp. Among the grampositive bacteria that are commonly added to white shrimp aquaculture activities, namely Lactobacillus sp., this bacterium has many advantages for the survival of white shrimp in aquaculture activities. The addition of Lactobacillus sp. can increase the digestibility of feed due to simplification of complex proteins into simpler proteins so that the feed is easily absorbed by white shrimp. The results obtained from the administration of Lactobacillus sp. bacteria in the feed were getting very good growth results, the growth results from the lowest to the highest were A1 = 23.8 grams/head, A2=28.1 gram/head, A3=24.3 gram/head, A4=22.1 gram/head, A5=22.4 gram/head, A6=18.8 gram/head.Udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) adalah salah satu udang ekonomis penting yang memiliki beberapa kelebihan diantaranya adalah toleransi kondisi air, dapat tumbuh dengan cepat, dan daging yang tebal. Salah satu permasalahan  dalam budidaya udang vaname yaitu pertumbuhan udang vaname yang lambat akibat pengelolaan pakan yang tidak sesuai. Penambahan bakteri gram positif pada pakan secara ilmiah diyakini dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan udang vaname. Di antara bakteri gram positif yang biasa ditambahkan pada kegiatan budidaya udang vaname yaitu bakteri Lactobacillus sp., bakteri ini memiliki banyak keuntungan bagi kelangsungan hidup udang vaname pada kegiatan budidaya. Penambahan bakteri Lactobacillus sp. dapat meningkatkan kecernaan pakan akibat penyederhanaan protein kompleks menjadi protein yang lebih sederhana sehingga pakan mudah diserap oleh udang vaname. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pemberian bakteri Lactobacillus sp., pada pakan yaitu mendapatkan hasil pertumbuhan yang  sngat baik, hasil pertumbuhan dari yang terendah sampai yang tertinggi yaitu A1= 23,8 gram/ekor, A2=28,1 gram/ekor, A3=24,3 gram/ekor, A4=22,1 gram/ekor, A5=22,4 gram/ekor, A6=18,8 gram/ekor.   Kata kunci: Pakan, Lactobacillu sp,udang vaname (Litopenaus vannamei), Pertumbuha

    BUDIDAYA UDANG VANNAMEI (Litopenaeus vannamei) DENGAN SISTEM INTENSIF PADAT PENEBARAN 200 dan 300 EKOR/M2: INDONESIA

    Vannamei Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is a commodity that is widely cultivated. This is because the shrimp has promising prospects and profits. This activity aims to determine the growth and survival of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) with a stock density of 200 and 300 individuals/m2. During maintenance the observations made included growth, survival rate, feed conversion ratio and water quality. Vannamei shrimp rearing was carried out for 90 days with a stocking density of 200 individuals/m2 and 300 individuals/m2. The growth results of vannamei shrimp culture with a stocking density of 200 and 300 individuals/m2 showed different results in each pond during 90 days of maintenance. The growth of vannamei shrimp every week has increased in growth. Survival in vannamei shrimp farming ranges from 87.74-87.99%. In pond 1, the survival rate was 87.74%, then in pool 2, the survival rate was 87.99%.Udang Vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) merupakan salah satu komoditas yang banyak dibudidayakan. Hal ini disebabkan udang tersebut memiliki prospek dan profit yang menjanjikan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup pada  budidaya udang vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) dengan padat terbar 200 dan 300 ekor/m2.  Selama pemeliharaan pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi pertumbuhan, survival rate, feed convertion ratio dan kualitas air. Pemeliharaan udang vannamei dilakukan selama 90 hari dengan padat tebar 200 ekor/m2 dan 300 ekor/m2 . Hasil pertumbuhan budidaya udang vannamei dengan padat penebaran 200 dan 300 ekor/m2 menunjukan hasil yang berbeda pada setiap kolam selama pemeliharaan 90 hari. Pertumbuhan udang vannamei pada setiap minggunya mengalami peningkatan pertumbuhan. Kelangsungan hidup pada budidaya udang vannamei berkisar 87,74-87,99%. Pada kolam 1 diperoleh kelangsungan hidup sebesar 87,74% kemudian pada kolam 2 kelangsungan hidup yang diperoleh yaitu 87,99%

    Tingkat Kesukaan Hama Plutella xylostella dan Belalang (Locusta migratoria) Terhadap Tanaman Kubis Bunga (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.) Dataran Rendah yang diberi Kompos Azolla dan Pupuk NPK

    This study aims to study (1) the level of Plutella pest preference, and (2) the level of grasshopper (Locusta sp) pest preference for lowland cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. Botrytis L.) on various combinations of Azolla compost and NPK fertilizer. The research was carried out in the Horticulture practice land of Lampung Polytechnic in July 2018 to September 2018. The study was arranged in factorial in a randomized block design (RBD) with 9 treatment combinations and 3 replications, so that there were 27 experimental units. The combination of treatment is as follows: The first factor is Azolla bulk compost (A) which consists of 3 levels of dosis namely: a1 = 2 tons Ha-1, a2 = 4 tons Ha-1, and a3 = 6 tons Ha-1. The second factor is the dosage of NPK fertilizer (B) which consists of 3 dosage levels, namely b1 = 0 kg ha-1, b2 = 100 kg ha-1 and b3 =200 kg ha-1. Observations were made on the intensity of Plutella xylostella and Grasshopper (Locusta sp) attacks. at the age of 17 days (1) and age 24 days (2). The data was tested by F test and the difference in treatment was followed by the smallest real difference test (LSD) level of 5%. The results obtained from the F test on the variable intensity of Plutella xylostella attack (1) were observed: azolla and NPK compost doses affected the intensity of xylostella plutella attack at the age of 17 days, while at 24 days the dose of azolla and NPK compost had no effect on pest attack this. So until the age of 17 days the administration of azolla and NPK compost still causes pests. Xylostella plutella likes flower cabbage leaves, while at the age of 24 days the flower of cabbage leaves has not been favored by these pests. For locust pests (Locusta sp), azolla dose and azolla interaction with NPK fertilizer significantly affected the attack of locust pests (Locusta sp) on cabbage flowers aged 17 days, while at the age of 24 days, only NPK doses affected the locust attack on flower cabbage plants. Thus, the adequacy of nitrogen nutrient supply causes high Plutella xylostella pest preference until the plant age of 17 days and decreases in plant age of 24 days, while for locust pest (Locusta sp) the level of preference continues until the plant age of 24 days.     In Vitro Screening Ketahanan Galur Padi (Oryza sativa) B7 Hasil Rakitan Politeknik Negeri Lampung Terhadap Cekaman pH Lingkungan Tumbuh

    This research aimed to invstigate the response of paddy culture (B7 strain) assembled by Lampung State Polytechnic to the pH stress of environment growth. The research was done at Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory, Lampung State Polytechnic, from May to August 2018. Treatments were single arranged in a completely randomized design with three replications. The treatment tried was five levels of culture media pH (3.5; 4; 4.5; 5; and 5.8). Each replication consisted of three culture bottle containing one explant. The homogenity of data was tested using Barlett test. If the assumption were fulfilled then analysis of variance is executed using STATISTIX 10, and then followed by the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test in 5% alpha for mean separation. The result of this research showed that the B7 strain gives the same growth response at various pH levels tested, except at pH 3.5. Thus it can be assumed that the B7 strain has tolerance characteristic to low pH until pH 4.     Mempercepat Perkecambahan Benih Asam Jawa (Tamarindus indica Linn) Menggunakan Metode Perendaman

      ABSTRACT Tamarind constitutes orthodox seed which is impermeable to water so that it is difficult to be penetrated by water in its imbibitions process. Consequently, the seeds have longer dormancy time so that special treatment is needed to accelerate its seed development. This research was done by soaking the seeds in the PGPR solution with the concentration and the soaking duration which are different from the purpose in order to accelerate the tamarind seed germination of the tamarind. The research used RAL (complete random sampling) consisted of soaking time (L) – L1: 2 hours, L2: 4 hours, L3: 6 hours, and PGPR concentration (P) which was Po; without PGPR concentration (control), P1: 10 ml/L of water, P2: 20 ml/L of water, and P3: 30 ml/L of water. The combination of treatment was 12 combinations, and each of them was repeated 3 times. The tamarind seeds were soaked according to the treatment, dried up, and germinated. The result of the research showed that germinating the seeds in 6 hours with PGPR concentration of 30 ml/L of water could accelerate the seeds until 4 days, 100% of sprouting power, 2.5% of vigor index, and 1% of germination rate.   Keywords: Tamarind, PGPR, Seed SoakingABSTRAK Asam Jawa termasuk benih ortodok yang memiliki kulit benih yang bersifat impermeabel sehingga benih sulit untuk ditembus oleh air pada saat proses imbibisi terjadi, sehingga benih memiliki masa dormansi yang lebih lama dan dibutuhkan suatu perlakuan khusus untuk mempercepat perkecambahan benih. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan perlakuan perendaman benih pada larutan PGPR dengan konsentrasi dan lama perendaman yang berbeda dengan tujuan untuk mempercepat perkecambahan benih asam jawa sehingga waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengecambahkan benih bisa lebih cepat. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari Lama Perendaman (L) yaitu L1: 2 jam; L2: 4 jam; L3: 6 jam dan Konsentrasi PGPR (P) yaitu P0: Tanpa konsentrasi PGPR (kontrol); P1: 10 ml/L air; P2: 20 ml/L air dan P3: 30 ml/L air. Seluruh kombinasi perlakuan adalah sebanyak 12 kombinasi dan tiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Benih asam Jawa direndam sesuai dengan perlakuan dan dikeringanginkan kemudian dikecambahkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman benih hingga 6 jam dengan konsentrasi PGPR hingga 30 ml/L air dapat mempercepat perkecambahan benih hingga 4 hst, daya kecambah 100%, indeks vigor 2.5 %, Indeks Kecepatan Perkecambahan (%) 1%.  Kata Kunci : Asam Jawa, PGPR, perendaman benih &nbsp
