    Analisis Finansial dan Risiko Usahatani Jeruk Siam di Kecamatan Gunuang Omeh Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota

    This study aims to analyze the financial, sensitivity, and risk of Siamese oranges. The research method uses a survey method. The research locations in the villages of Koto Tinggi and Pandam Gadang, Gunuang Omeh Sub District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency in March to August 2021. Respondents were 32 Siamese orange farmers. Financial data were analyzed using Gross B-C, Net Present Value (NPV), Net B-C, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). Risk analysis using the Coefficient of Variance (CV). The results showed that Siamese citrus farming was financially feasible with a Gross BC value of 2.62, Net BC 5.55,IRR 0.40, NPV Rp 2.191.191.334,64, PP 5,47 years. Siamese citrus farming is sensitive to a 30% decrease in selling price and 20% production, while a 4.45% increase in costs is not sensitive. The risk shows a CV value of 0.14, risk mitigation by farmers by planting quality seeds, land sanitation, improving cultivation methods, using pesticides and fertilizers according to doses.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis finansial, sensitivitas, dan risiko harga jual jeruk siam.  Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survei.  Lokasi penelitian di Nagari Koto Tinggi dan Pandam Gadang, Kecamatan Gunuang Omeh, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada Bulan Maret sampai dengan Agustus 2021. Data finansial dianalisis menggunakan Gross B-C, Net B-C, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Velue (NPV), dan Payback Period (PP).  Analisis risiko menggunakan Koevisien Varian (CV).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan usahatani jeruk siam secara finansial layak untuk diusahakan dengan nilai Gross B-C 2,62 , Net B-C 5,55, IRR 0,40, NPV Rp 2.912.481.594,61, PP 5,47 tahun.  Usahatani jeruk siam sensitif terhadap penurunan harga jual 30% dan produksi 20%, kenaikan biaya 4,45% tidak sensitif.  Risiko menunjukkan nilai CV 0,14, mitigasi risiko oleh petani dengan cara sanitasi lahan, memperbaiki cara budidaya, menggunakan pestisida dan  pupuk sesuai dosis.   Kata kunci :finansial, sensitivitas, risiko, usahatan

    PENDAMPINGAN PENERAPAN GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTISE (GMP) PADA UMKM KERIPIK TEMPE 27, GENTAWANGI, JATILAWANG, BANYUMAS

      ABSTRACT Tempe 27 chips are a product of partner Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME)  from Gentawangi Village, RT 02 RW 06, Jatilawang sub-district, Banyumas district. The type of tempe chips produced by partner SME is sago tempe chips. The problems faced by partner SME include that the production equipment used is still simple and has not yet implemented Good Processed Food Production Methods (CPPOB) or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The solutions offered to partner SME are public education and the diffusion of science and technology through training and mentoring in the application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The aim is to increase the knowledge, skills and awareness of SME to reach 100% regarding the implementation of GMP. The methods used are community education, science and technology diffusion, mediation, advocacy and participation from SME partner in community service activities. The result of the community service program related to assisting in the implementation of GMP is that there is an increase in understanding and awareness of the importance of GMP from partner SME actors. This is shown by the high motivation of partner SME and their willingness to independently improve, equip and organize tempe chip production facilities and infrastructure so that they comply with GMP principles.   Keywords: GMP, tempe chips, mentoring, SMEABSTRAK Keripik Tempe 27 adalah produk UMKM mitra yang berasal dari Desa Gentawangi RT 02 RW 06 kecamatan Jatilawang, kabupaten Banyumas. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk UMKM mitra adalah pendidikan masyarakat dan difusi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP). Tujuannya adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kesadaran UMKM  mencapai 100 % terkait penerapan GMP. Metode yang dilakukan adalah pendidikan masyarakat, difusi iptek, mediasi, advokasi dan partisipasi dari UMKM mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Hasil dari program pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pendampingan penerapan GMP ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran pentingnya GMP dari pelaku UMKM mitra. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh tingginya motivasi UMKM mitra dan kesediaan secara swadaya untuk memperbaiki, melengkapi dan menata sarana dan prasarana produksi keripik tempe agar sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip GMP.   Kata kunci: GMP, keripik tempe, pendampingan, UMK

    Pola Sebaran dan Rendemen Hasil Gliserolisis Enzimatis Campuran CPO (Crude Palm Oil) dan PKO (Palm Kernel Oil)

    The use of oil in the food and non-food industries is increasing with the increasing number of findings on oleochemical synthesis processes that can be applied on an industrial scale.  MAGs and DAGs are used as part of fat products and are often associated with other emulsifiers.  MAG synthesis can be carried out chemically and enzymatically.  The glycerolysis process using lipase enzymes as biocatalysts requires relatively low energy and produces products with better quality.  This study uses enzymatic glycerolysis and will observe the distribution pattern of the glycerolysis product which describes the level of completeness of the reaction.  The distribution pattern that describes the perfection of the reaction is a distribution pattern that has spots that spread regularly (not random/straight).      The experiment was carried out with a single factor and two replications.  The data are presented in the form of tables and histograms, then the results are discussed descriptively.  Treatment factors, namely the ratio of the mixture of CPO and PKO consisting of 11 ratios of CPO and PKO: 0.2; 0.4; 0.6; 0.8; 1.0; 1,2; 1.4; 1.6; 1.8 and two controls.                 Based on the observations made, the glycerolysis of a mixture of CPO and PKO in various ratios, produces a pattern of distribution on the TLC plate which is regular and the Rf (Retardation factor) value shows that from closest to furthest are MAG, DAG, ALB, and TAG with Rf 0.01; 0.12; 0.31; 0.57, respectively.  The highest MAG yield was produced by the results of glycerolysis of CPO control (83.90%) followed by PKO control (74.90%) and a mixture of CPO-PKO with a ratio of 0.8 (73.71%).  The highest yield of MAG-DAG was produced by a mixture of CPO-PKO with a ratio of 1.6 (93.21%) followed by CPO control (91.88%) and a ratio of 0.8 (73.71%). Key Word: CPO, enzymatic glycerolysis, MAG, PKO, TLC.Pemanfaatan minyak dalam industri pangan dan non pangan semakin meningkat dengan semakin banyaknya temuan tentang proses sintesis oleokimia yang dapat diterapkan dalam skala industri. MAG dan DAG digunakan sebagai bagian dari produk lemak dan sering dikaitkan dengan pengemulsi lainnya.  Sintesis MAG dapat dilakukan secara kimia dan enzimatis.  Proses gliserolisis menggunakan enzim lipase sebagai biokatalis memerlukan energi yang relatif rendah serta menghasilkan produk dengan kualitas yang lebih baik.  Penelitian ini menggunakan gliserolisis enzimatis dan akan diamati pola sebaran produk gliserolisis yang menggambarkan tingkat kesempurnaan reaksi.  Pola sebaran yang menggambarkan kesempurnaan reaksi adalah pola sebaran yang memiliki spot yang menyebar secara teratur (tidak acak/lurus).           Percobaan dilakukan dengan faktor tunggal dan dua ulangan.  Data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan histogram, kemudian hasilnya dibahas secara deskriptif.  Faktor perlakuan, yaitu perbandingan campuran CPO dan PKO yang terdiri dari 11 perbandingan CPO dan PKO : 0,2; 0,4; 0,6; 0,8; 1,0; 1,2; 1,4; 1,6; 1,8 dan dua kontrol.  Perbandingan 0,2 berbanding 0,8 merupakan campuran CPO dan PKO, dimana fraksi CPO lebih kecil dibandingkan fraksi PKO, perbandingan 1,0 fraksi CPO sama dengan CPO, dan perbandingan 1,2 berbanding 1,8 adalah campuran CPO dan PKO lebih besar dimana fraksi CPO lebih tinggi dari PKO.      Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan, gliserolisis campuran CPO dan PKO dalam berbagai nisbah, menghasilkan pola sebaran pada lempeng KLT yang beraturan dan nilai Rf (Retardation factor) menunjukkan dari yang terdekat hingga terjauh adalah MAG, DAG, ALB, dan TAG dengan Rf  berturut-turut 0,01;0,12;0,31;0,57.  Rendemen MAG tertinggi dihasilkan oleh hasil gliserolisis kontrol CPO (83,90%) diikuti oleh kontrol PKO (74,90%) dan campuran CPO-PKO nisbah 0,8 (73,71%).  Rendemen MAG-DAG tertinggi dihasilkan oleh campuran CPO-PKO nisbah 1,6 (93,21%) diikuti oleh control CPO (91,88%) dan nisbah 0,8 (73,71%).        &nbsp

    Pola Kandang Tertutup Dua Lantai pada Broiler di Edi Sujarwo Farm Kabupaten Lampung Tengah

    The use of closed-house cages is one of the technological innovation efforts to deal with the adverse effect of environmental conditions or changing weather. Setting environmental conditions will make broilers feel comfortable. The type of cage with a double deck system in a closed house will minimize the limited land area. In addition, the implementation of the closed-house double deck is expected to have a positive impact on increasing broiler production. This study aims to determine the pattern of Edi Sujarwo Farm’s closed-house double deck. The method used is descriptive. Data were collected using primary and secondary data. The result showed that Edi Sujarwo Farm’s Closed House Double Deck cage uses a cage construction that is safe for broilers and workers. The cage leads from east to west with a temperature of 260C - 320C with a humidity of 70%. The feeders are baby chick and hanging feeders. The watery system used is a nipple drinker. Other equipment used in the form of temptation, generator, curtain, and high-pressure sprayer. The ground floor and the first level consist of 6 blowers on floor units. Cooling pad used (150 cm x 60 cm) with a thickness of 15 cm.     Intercropping is a cropping pattern that uses more than one commodity on the same land, with the aim of increasing farmers' income and reducing the risk of crop failure from one particular commodity. In the intercropping pattern, it is necessary to pay attention to the root system of plants so that they do not overlap each other. So far, the intercropping pattern has only been considered in terms of the productivity of each plant, without paying attention to differences in the nutritional value of the main plant. Therefore, in this study an analysis of the nutritional value of the main plant used was cassava. The treatments applied were 3 types of cropping systems, namely: A= Double row monoculture cassava planting system; B = Double row cassava-corn intercropping system; and C = Double row cassava-soybean intercropping system. The results showed that the intercropping pattern of cassava and corn produced cassava tubers with the highest protein content (2.11%), fat (0.10%), and crude fiber (1.31%) and HCN content (0.10%). 08 mg/g) which was the lowest compared to other treatments. While the monoculture cassava cropping pattern produced cassava tubers with the highest starch content (16.82%) compared to other treatments. Pada pola tanam tumpangsari perlu diperhatikan adalah sistem perakaran tanaman agar tidak saling tumpeng tindih. Selama ini pada pola tanam tumpang sari hanya diperhatikan dari segi produktifitas masing-masing tanaman, tanpa memperhatikan perbedaan nilai gizi tanaman utamanya. Oleh sebab itu pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis terhadap nilai gizi tanaman utama yang digunakan yaitu ubikayu. Perlakuan yang diterapkan adalah 3 jenis sistem tanam yakni: A= Sistem tanam ubikayu double row monokultur;  B = Sistem tanam double row  tumpangsari ubikayu-jagung;  dan C = Sistem tanam double row  tumpangsari ubikayu-kedelai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola tanam tumpang sari ubikayu dan jagung menghasilkan umbi ubikayu dengan kandungan protein (2,11%), lemak (0,10%), dan serat kasar sebesar (1,31%) yang tertinggi dan kadar HCN (0,08 mg/g) yang terendah dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Sementara pola tanam ubikayu monokultur, menghasilkan umbi ubikayu dengan kadar pati yang tertinggi (16,82%) dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Kata kunci: gizi, monokultur, tumpang sari, ubikay

    KOMPARASI RISIKO PRODUKSI DAN PENDAPATAN USAHATANI KOPI ORGANIK DAN AN ORGANIK: (Suatu Kasus di Desa Margamulya, Kecamatan Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung)

    Changes in consumer lifestyle have led to an increasing demand of organic products. The government supports the growth of the organic-product trend by establishing 1000 organic-farming village program. The transformation of farming method from the conventional (inorganic) one to the organic one certainly imposes risks that need to be considered.  This study aims to analyze the differences of production risks and income risk between organic and inorganic coffee farmers. The research was conducted in Margamulya Village, Pangalengan District, West Java, which was purposively chosen because Margamulya Village is the center of coffee production in West Java and is one of the villages selected in the 1000 organic-farming-village program. The samples used in this study amounted to 56 respondents, which consisted of 28 organic farmers and 28 conventional farmers that were obtained through Slovin’s formula and selected by simple random method. The method used in this research was comparative quantitative research method. The data were analyzed using comparative analysis by coefficient comparison analysis of production risks and income risks.  The results show that the production risks and income risks of inorganic coffee farmers are higher than those of organic farmers.   Keywords: Organic Coffee, Production Risks, Income RisksPerubahan gaya hidup konsumen mendorong terjadinya perubahan pada permintaan produk organik yang semakin meningkat. Pemerintah mendukung adanya  tren produk organik dengan membentuk program 1000 desa pertanian organik. Perubahan cara bertani dari an organik (an organik) ke pertanian organik tentunya ada risiko yang perlu diperhitungkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan risiko produksi dan risiko pendapatan usahatani kopi organik dan an organik. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Margamulya, Pangalengan, Jawa Barat yang dipilih dengan pertimbangan Desa Margamulya sebagai sentra produksi kopi Jawa Barat dan salah satu desa yang terpilih menjadi salah desa organik dalam program 1000 desa pertanian organik. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 56 responden yang terdiri dari 28 petani organik dan 28 petani an organik  yang diperoleh melalui rumus slovin dan diambil dengan metode acak sederhana. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif komparatif. Data dianalisis dengan analisis perbandingan menggunakan koefisien risiko produksi dan risiko pendapatan.     Suplementasi Hidrolisat Glukomanan Tepung Porang (Amorphophallus oncophillus) pada Produk Minuman Sinbiotik

    Synbiotics is a combination of prebiotics and probiotics that are believed to have a synergistic effect not only by inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria and enhancing the growth of beneficial organisms, but also play a role as functional foods. This study was conducted to evaluate the konjac glucomannan hydrolyzate in synbiotics fermented milk. Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) was applied in this experiment. The combination of konjac glucomannan hydrolyzate (0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%) and storage time (0 day, 30 days, 60 days) were applied to measure the acidity (pH), lactic acid konsentration and viscosity. Meanwhile viability of lactic acid bacteria and antibacterial activity were measure . The result showed that konjac glucomannan hydrolyzate supplementation were decreased product acidity (pH) and viscosity, but increased the lactic acid concentration during 60 days storage. Viability of lactic acid bacteria during 60 days storage were decreased except for 1% and 1.5% concentration. The synbiotic product showed antagonistic activity against pathogenic bacteria i.e. E. coli ATCC 25922, S. aureus ATCC 25923, and S. Typhimurium ATCC 14028. Supplementation of 1% glucomannan hydrolyzate for 60 days at 5oC showed the best characteristics in synbiotic product namely 3.45 acidity (pH), 1.24% total lactic acid , 3.24 Cp viscosity, and 8.69 log CFU/g total lactic acid bacteria.Produk minuman sinbiotik merupakan kombinasi dari bakteri probiotik dan prebiotic yang dipercaya memberikan efek sinergis tidak hanya menghambat pertumbuhan mikroba pathogen dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan bakteri menguntungkan, akan tetapi juga berperan sebagai pangan fungsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji suplementasi hidrolisat glukomanan porang pada susu fermentasi. Rancangan penelitian yang diterapkan adalah Rancangan Acak kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan kombinasi antara faktor konsentrasi hidrolisat glukomanan (0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%) dan lama penyimpanan (0 hari, 30 hari, 60 hari) pada suhu 5oC. Peubah yang diamati adalah keasaman (pH), persen asam laktat, viskositas, viabilitas bakteri asam laktat (BAL) dan aktivitas antibakteri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi hidrolisat glukomanan porang menurunkan pH, akan tetapi meningkatkan total asam laktat dan viskositas  produk setelah penyimpanan 60 hari. Viabilitas bakteri asam laktat mengalami penurunan sebesar 4 siklus log selama penyimpanan, kecuali pada produk yang disuplementasi hidrolisat glukomanan 1% dan 1.5%.  Seluruh produk minuman sinbiotik memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap mikroba pathogen yaitu E. coli ATCC 25922, S. aureus ATCC 25923, and S. Typhimurium ATCC 14028. Suplementasi hidrolisat glukomanan 1% dan lama penyimpanan 60 hari menghasilkan karakteristik minuman sinbiotik terbaik yaitu pH 3.45, total asam laktat 1.24%, viskositas 3.24 Cp, dan total BAL 8.69 CFU/

    Efforts to apply embryo transfer reproductive technology to community breeders in Lampung Tengah Regency involve inseminators who have an interest and influence in the success of embryo transfer. This study aims to analyze the inseminator response to the implementation of embryo transfer in Lampung Tengah Regency by looking at the influence of age (X1), education level (X2), work experience (X3), knowledge (X4), means of transportation (X5), and facilities and infrastructure (X6) owned by the inseminator of the inseminator's response to the application of embryo transfer in Lampung Tengah Regency. The analytical method used is simple linear regression analysis of 28 inseminators on duty in Lampung Tengah Regency. The results showed that the more productive the inseminator age (old), the lower the inseminator response. The variablees observed in this study were populaion of goat and ruminants, the availability of social-cultural forage 100% owner livestock ownership and natural condutions. The results of study show the fasibility of the area as a village an 9 villages which inclides sector basis and availability of forage 12.086,08 ton/BK/th.     The people in Negara Tulang Bawang Village have a livelihood as farmers, civil servants, TNI,POLICE and private employees, entrepreneurs and traders as big as, workers as big as and others.The partner's great desire is that the gardens in the village can become pilot gardens and agro-tourismby applying technology and innovations that are useful for the production and productivity of plantationcrops. The innovation that can be applied is the procurement of innovation or technology for thepreservation of oil palm pollinating insects. The condition of the partners has a large area of land andabundant resources, but the productivity and production of palm oil is stagnant. The results of fieldreviews and discussions with partner farmers found that the presence of pollinating insects wasminimal at the location and assistance such as counseling and additional insight were not obtained bypartner farmers. The activity proposer team has designed the method of activity that is applied bymeans of counseling, demonstration, training, consultation, and guidance, as well as evaluation. Aftercounseling, assistance is carried out by monitoring and evaluating innovation programs that are givenor applied to farmers. Increased understanding and technical manufacturing of technology by 100%,implementation by 40% and increase in oil palm production after the implementation of technologytransfer by 21.43%.Penduduk di Desa Negara Tulang Bawang memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai petani, PNS, TNI, POLISI dan karyawan swasta, pengusaha dan pedagang sebesar, buruh sebesar dan lain-lain. Keinginan besar dari mitra adalah kebun - kebun yang berada di desa dapat menjadi kebun percontohan dan agrowisata dengan menerapkan teknologi dan inovasi yang berguna bagi produksi serta produktivitas tanaman perkebunan. Inovasi yang dapat diterapkan adalah dengan pengadaan inovasi atau teknologi untuk kelestarian serangga penyerbuk kelapa sawit. Kondisi mitra memiliki lahan yang luas serta sumber daya yang melimpah akan tetapi produktivitas dan produksi kelapa sawit mengalami stagnan. Hasil tinjauan dilapangan dan diskusi dengan mitra petani didapatkan bahwa keberadaan serangga penyerbuk sangat minim dilokasi serta pendampingan seperti penyuluhan dan penambahan wawasan kurang didapatkan oleh petani mitra. Tim Pengusul kegiatan telah merancang metode kegiatan yang diterapkan dengan cara penyuluhan, demonstrasi, pelatihan, konsultasi, dan bimbingan, serta evaluasi. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan, dilakukan pendampingan dengan memonitoring serta mengevaluasi program inovasi yang diberikan atau diterapkan di petani. Peningkatan pemahaman dan teknis pembuatan teknologi sebesar 100%, penerapan yang diberlakukan sebesar 40% dan peningkatan produksi kelapa sawit setelah diterapkannya transfer teknologi sebesar 21,43%
