    The ban on using triclosan as an antiseptic in bath soap in various countries has given rise to new ideas to apply natural ingredients as an alternative. Curd kefir, as a natural ingredient, can be used as an alternative antiseptic. In this study, the manufacturing of tallow-based soap has been developed by adding kefir curd as an antiseptic to improve the soap's quality and inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli. The results showed no significant difference in the soap's free alkali content, saponification number, and hardness.     Goats are livestock that is classified as small ruminants. One of the factors that influence goat productivity is health management. Health management is a disease control process so that livestock productivity can be maximized. One of the goat diseases in CV Mitra Tani Farm is an 'orf' disease. "Orf" is a scab that attacks the area around the goat's mouth. The ‘orf’ disease is caused by a zoonotic virus. Orf can cause goats to have difficulty in consuming food, so that the goats become thin, and increase morbidity. The purpose of this Final Project was to determine the occurrence of 'orf' disease in goats in CV Mitra Tani Farm. PE goats and pea goats were used as observation material. Observation, interviews, and secondary data collection were used to collect data in the CV. Mitra Tani Farm. Based on the observations of ‘orf’ disease in CV Mitra Tani Farm can be concluded that the clinical symptoms seen are blisters in the area around the mouth on the edge of the right lip.     Cassava is one of the focuses of the development of crop agricultural commodities of the type of tubers that have a variety of highly prospective and sustainable derivative products. Increasing cassava production can be done by using superior location-specific clones and involving local germplasm. The purpose of this study is to develop the potential of local cassava genetic resources as a food diversification material and to see the diversity of four local superior varieties of cassava which can be an alternative choice to be developed by farming communities. the diversity of local cassava varieties is carried out at Puncak Kubang Sirakuk South Polan Lembah Segar Subdistrict, Sawahlunto City March - December 2018. The ingredients are 4 local varieties of cassava (Kubang White Cassava, Kubang Red Cassava, Cassava Bread and Ubi Jambi Wood), Organic Fertilizer and inorganic fertilizers (Manure, Urea, SP-36 and KCl) while the tools used are tools for farming, meters, scales, calipers and others. Characterization and description using standard guidelines for cassava characterization Morphological analysis were carried out on plants with reference to standard descriptors. Using Randomized Group Design (RBD) with 6 replications. The treatment is 4 local varieties of cassava. The variables observed were plant growth and yield components including (a) plant height, (b) first branch height, (c) branch diameter, (d) tuber weight per stem, (e) weight per stem, (f) index harvest, (g) number of large tubers, (h) number of small tubers, (i) Total tuber and (j) ton yield per ha. The data of the observations were analyzed by variance and continued with the Duncan difference test (UBD). The results show that the Cuban red cassava has the highest potential yield of 80.67 tons/ha from the diversity of four local superior varieties of cassava which can be an alternative choice to be developed by the community. Keywords: cassava, genetic resources, local varietie

    Participation is the approach that has become a trend in the design of government programs related to social welfare. Through different events. This study aims to examine the behavior-based community interaction model. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research using experimental research conducted using the Pretest-Posttest Design Group Control model with one kind of observation in one experimental group and one comparison group. The results of this study were conducted in the experimental group which gave a higher speed than the control group, including the model used to find and change the knowledge of the target group. In addition to strengthening personal abilities with community-based models, the community has the ability to strengthen social groups: others, are able to work with others, are independent, have the ability to appear in public (public speaking), care for others, and have an attitude towards group information.     The increase in funds received by each village all devices of the village should be ready and able to manage those funds with transparent and accountable in order to avoid legal issues. Therefore, it is very important the presumably conducted research on the risk management of the financial management of the village. As for the goal of the research is to identify, measure and strategy of financial management of the village. This research is a case study in the village Bay and the village of Sekura Swell Sub Sacred Bay with respondents Councilor. Data required primary data is sourced from an interview through the questionnaire and FGD and secondary data obtained from the study of librarianship. The analysis of the data used is with the SWOT and QSPM. Data processing is carried out with the help of Microsoft Excel. Internal identification results are: 1)the already high level of education; 2)Regulation of the 56th Government village is getting better; 3)coordination with subordinate and BPD is already good; 4 the performance of the device has not been fullest village; 5)device capabilities are categorized as low; f) knowledge of the Administration is still low; 6)still focuses on infrastructure development; 7)haven't been able to capitalize on SDA; 8)internal control systems are still weak. While the Eksternalnya factors are: 1)the magnitude of the ADD-ON brings; 2)progress of information technology; 3)oversight by BPD is getting better; 4)Regulation of financial governance of the village is already good; 5)lack of transparency; 6)the uncertain political conditions; 7)less supervision of society; 8)there are still proposals are a desire, not a necessity; 9)understanding of the public about the legislation in force; 10)quality development results are not yet in compliance with the planning. The average level of risk: risk of planning (with a value of 4.4); the risk of implementation (4.8); the risk of administering, reporting, and accountability (4.2); and risk oversight (4.3).     Efikasi Ekstrak Buah Makasar (Bruceae Javanica L. merr.) untuk Mengendalikan Larva Spodoptera litura f.

    The S. litura larvae often cause damage to the leaves of legume, corn, rice, onion, lettuce, mustard, cotton, tobacco, sugar cane, and banana leaves. In general, people use synthetic insecticides to control it, although it is proven to cause environmental pollution, the emergence of resistance and pest resurgence. To reduce these impacts, it is necessary to look for alternative control methods that are safe, effective, and compatible with Integrated Pest Management techniques. Alternative controls that meet these criteria include botanical insecticides, because they are more specific, do not pollute the environment, are easily degraded in nature, and do not quickly cause resistance. Simaroubaceae family plants contain pesticides with active quasinoid compounds. One species of Simaroubaceae is Brucea javanica (L.) Merr. which is known as the Makasar fruit which contains alkaloid compounds, quassinoids (Bruceantine, bruceantinol, brusatol, bruceine), polyphenols, tannins and essential oils. Four quasinoid compounds from Samadera indica namely indakuasin, samaderin A, B, and C are inhibiting food, slowing development, and causing pupa death from Spodoptera litura caterpillar F. To control S. litura larvae in various plants and further research and development needs, then conducted a study "Effication of Macassar Fruit Extracts (Bruceae javanicaL. Merr.) to Control S. litura Larvae". The study used a randomized design with seven treatments and four replications. The seven treatments are fresh makasar fruit boiled extract, dry skinless makasar fruit boiled extract, dry skinned makasar fruit boiled extract, fresh makasar fruit fermented extract, skinless dry makasar fruit fermented extract, makasar dry skinned fruit fermented extract, and synthetic Lamda fruit insecticide cyhalothrin (as a control) with four replications. Fermentation extract is quite effective and can cause mortality of 61.7% to 63.3%. Boiled extract is less effective than boiled extract, which is only capable of causing 40.0% to 41.6% mortality.     Pengaruh Ukuran dan Vernalisasi Umbi Terhadap Umur Berbunga dan Kualitas Bunga Sedap Malam (Polianthes tuberose L.)

    Tuberose Flower (Polianthes tuberose L.) is an ornamental plant from Mexico, which is widely cultivated as cut flowers. The demand of consumer is increasing especially on public holidays, therefore to produce large quantities of cut flowers, a large number of seeds are needed. This researchaims to determine the difference in bulb size and vernalization of tubers for growth, age of flowering and the quality of the tuberose flowers. The research was conducted at Lampung State Polytechnic's land in February 2017 - February 2018, using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors. The first factor is bulb size, diameter small (0,8 – 1 cm), medium (1,1 – 1,3 cm) and large (1,4 – 1,6 cm). The second factor is vernalization treatment; by vernalization (temperature ± 5 – 8 ºC) for 3 months, and without vernalization. Each treatment was repeated three times. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance, the difference in means value was tested using the Duncan Multiple Range Test at a significant level of 5%. The result showed that the medium sized bulb gave the highest of plant 36,42 cm. The highest number of leaves was obtained from the large sized bulb 18,15 leaves. Large sized bulb could accelerate the age of appearance of stalk (26,55 MST) and harvesting flowers (31,05 MST). Large sized bulb have the highest number of seedlings, that is 12,17 tubers. Vernalization doesn’t affect the tubers for growth, age of flowering and the quality of the tuberose flowers. Keywords: Poliantes tuberose, Tuber size, and Vernalization

    Evaluasi Daya Hasil Lima Varietas Cabai (Capsicum annuum L.) dengan Penggunaan Mulsa Plastik dan Paranet Saat Transplanting

    Demand for chili at certain times is quite high, but it is not always balanced with the amount of production. This resulted in the price of chili jumping sharply. This study aims to (1) evaluate the yield of five chili varieties’s power using mulch and without mulch, (2) to find out the growth power of five chili varieties after transplanting using 40% paranet and withoutparanet. The study was arranged in factorial (3 factors) with a randomized block design environment. As the first factor are five chili varieties, namely Columbus, Arimbi, Lado, Ferosa, TM 999. The second factor is the use of plastic mulch, which is without mulch and using mulch. The third factor is the use of paranet when transplanting, i.e. without paranet and using paranet. The treatment combination was repeated 3 times. The results showed the highest varieties of fruit weights per plant were Columbus (622 g), followed by Arimbi (391 g), Lado (324 g), TM 999 (126 g), and Ferosa (65 g). The use of 40% paranet when transplanting on beds using black silver plastic mulch can reduce seedling mortality in the field to 46%.     Factors Affecting The Smallholder Sugarcane Plantation Area

    The decrease of the smallholder sugarcane area is the major problem for the Indonesian plantation white sugar industry. This study aims to analyze factors that affecting the decrease of the smallholder sugarcane area. This study uses a panel data econometric model; using cross-sectional data from five provinces of smallholder sugarcane base area (East Java, Central Java, Lampung, West Java, and Yogyakarta) with monthly time series from 2014 to 2018. Estimates use the generalized least square (GLS) method. The results showed that the decrease of the smallholder sugarcane area was significantly affected by: (1) the decrease of sugar factories that were actively operating, (2) the increase of labor wages in the estate crops sector, (3) land competition with corn commodities, and (4) the increase of residential areas due to growth of population. The opening of new sugar factories out of Java Island is an alternative to encourages land clearing for smallholder sugarcane areas

    This study aimed to examine the effect of audit committee, family ownership on tax avoidance by focusing on manufacturing companies Iisted in the lndonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2017-2019. Tax avoidance is a dependent variable, while audit committee, and family ownership is independent variables. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with a sample of 47 companies during the observation period of 3 years in a row to produce a total of 141 samples. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple Iinear regression analysis. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22 version. The results of this study indicate that audit committee does not effect tax avoidance, family ownership has an effect on tax avoidance
