PENAMBAHAN TUTUP PADA TUNGKU PELEBURAN LOGAM DENGAN BAHAN BAKAR GAS LPG SEBAGAI PENUNJANG PRAKTIKUM MAHASISWA
The foundry industry is indispensable in the development of metal products, both machinery, and household products. A metal smelting kitchen is an important tool in producing a product. The availability of smelting furnaces is currently still limited and the price is relatively expensive. As is known, it plays a strategic role, especially in industry and education as a medium for metal casting practice. The smelting of 1 kg of aluminum in the smelter without and using a bulkhead, with LPG fuel assisted by air from a blower that was carried out at the USU Mechanical Engineering Foundry Laboratory, consumed 0.42 kg of fuel with a smelting time of 18 minutes. The purpose of this research is to make a metal smelting furnace with the addition of a furnace cover so that it will reduce smelting time and save fuel. This research was conducted by testing a furnace with 500 g of material, with a temperature reaching 812⁰ C with a time of 4.19 minutes. The metal material used is a used motorcycle brake canvas. Furnaces with lids turned out to be able to accelerate the heating of the furnace space, so that the melting time was shorter, compared to smelting furnaces that did not use lids. In this study the manufacture of a crucible furnace with walls or blankets of refractory cement, and fuel using LPG. PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH DAPUR RUMAH TANGGA SEBAGAI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR DI KWT MAWAR KAMPUNG REKSO BINANGUN KECAMATAN RUMBIA KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TENGAH
Organic waste in the form of food scraps, vegetables, rotten fruit and leaves, fills the gutters and causes unpleasant odors and becomes a breeding ground for disease. Therefore, residents really need to be given education through training to process household organic waste independently. Through this activity, it is hoped that the environment will be cleaner and residents will no longer litter. Organic waste is fermented with EM4. The addition of EM4 activator aims to accelerate composting. The organic fertilizer produced will be applied to various vegetable gardens (spinach, chili, and tomatoes) which are developed in polybag media and planted on the sidelines of the yard. Through this service activity, the knowledge and skills of the people of Rekso Binangun Village, Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency have increased regarding the use of household kitchen waste into liquid organic fertilizers so as to minimize air pollution due to household kitchen waste and the long-term impact is the community of Rekso Binangun Village accustomed to using organic fertilizers to reduce chemical fertilizer residues
EDUKASI KEWIRAUSAHAAN BAGI PENGURUS DAN SANTRI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUL IMAN TANJUNG SARI NATAR LAMPUNG SELATAN
Darul Iman Islamic Boarding School expects its graduates besides having the ability to memorize the Qur'an and religious jurisprudence, they also have the ability to communicate and be able to be independent entrepreneurs, their daily activities focus on memorizing the Qur'an program for their students, so that soft skills in entrepreneurship still need improvement and input from various parties. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the problems faced by the administrators and students are the absence of experts who can provide understanding and knowledge related to entrepreneurship and marketing and do not understand e-marketing technology. If every individual in the Islamic boarding school has entrepreneurial skills, these problems can be avoided and finally the Islamic boarding school is able to distribute and generate income (additional economics) for Islamic boarding schools. It is hoped that the results of this service can increase the income of the Islamic boarding school, and the economic sustainability of the Islamic boarding school which ultimately supports the Islamic boarding school process. In addition, this education is expected to be able to motivate students to become entrepreneurs. Kajian Pengaruh Perbedaan Kerapatan Tanam dan Tahun Tanam terhadap Produktivitas Kelapa Sawit
The oil palm yield depends on its genetic and the interaction with environmental factors is affected by spatial arrangement of palm trees. The research objectives are to determine the effect of population density and planting year on oil palm productivity and vegetative growth. This research uses a factorial design arranged with a randomized complete design. Secondary data are palm productivity, fresh bunch number and bunch weight that were collected for three years (2019—2022). Primary data are stem height, frond length, and stem gird which were measured on 90 trees for each treatment combination. There are nine combinations with 810 palm trees that were sampled from 27 estate blocks (30 hectares for one block). The results showed that productivity and amount of oil palm FFB at densities ≥ 142, 136-141, and ≤ 135 SPH and planting years 2007, 2009 and 2011 (mature crop 12-15, 10-13, and 8-11 years) did not show significant differences. Efektivitas Beberapa Jenis Pupuk Hayati Terhadap Produksi Kacang Merah Varietas Inerie
The purpose of this study was to examine the best types biofertilizers in increasing the growth and yield of kidney bean of the Inerie variety in the lowlands. The research was conducted in July - November 2022 located on farmer's land. The study used a randomized block design with the factors studied were the types biofertilizer, namely: H0 : Without biological fertilizers, H1 : Liquid Organic Biofertilizer, H2 : Bion-Up, H3 : M-Bio, H4 : Bio-Conversion, H5 : Bio HYT , H6 : Bioboost, and H7 : Bio CBA Grow. The results showed that the bioboost biofertilizer was more effective on the growth and yield of the kidney bean variety Inerie variety in the lowlands, namely the net assimilation rate of 0.00559 g/cm2/week, total leaf chlorophyll 17.632 mg/g, number of pods containing 14.344 pods, total seeds 43.281 grains, and seed weight 14.713 g.

Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Juli - November 2022 berlokasi di lahan milik petani. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan faktor yang diteliti beberapa jenis pupuk hayati, yaitu : H0 : Tanpa Pupuk Hayati, H1 : Liquid Organic Biofertilizer, H2 : Bion-Up, H3 : M-Bio, H4 : Bio-Konversi, H5 : Bio HYT, H6 : Bioboost, dan H7 : Bio CBA Grow. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa pupuk hayati bioboost lebih efektif terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang merah Varietas Inerie di dataran rendah, yakni laju asimilasi bersih 0,00559 g/cm2/minggu, total klorofil daun 17,632 mg/g, jumlah polong berisi 13,344 polong, jumlah benih 43,281 butir, dan berat benih 14,713 g.

OPTIMALISASI PEMASARAN WEDANG UWUH MELALUI PROMOSI PADA INSTAGRAM DI UMKM TARUNA AGRO NUSANTARA, KECAMATAN IMOGIRI, KABUPATEN BANTUL
UMKM Taruna Agro Nusantara merupakan UMKM yang sedang berkembang di bidang tanaman biofarmaka yang dimulai dari budidaya tanaman, pengolahan hasil budidaya tanaman, sampai dengan penjualan produk hasil olahan. UMKM ini melibatkan pemberdayaan wanita tani di Kecamatan Imogiri, Kabupaten Bantul. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana optimalisasi pemasaran dan efektifitas promosi instagram Wedang Uwuh menggunakan metode AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan di UMKM Taruna Agro Nusantara pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Juli 2023 dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskrpitif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive, sedangkan untuk pengambilan sampel responden menggunakan purposive sampling dengan populasi berupa followers yang mengikuti Instagram UMKM Taruna Agro Nusantara sampai akhir bulan Maret 2023. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder sebagai data pendukung. Data yang terkumpul melalui wawancara langsung dengan pemilik perusahaan dan dari responden menggunakan kuesioner kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya perbandingan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan optimalisasi pemasaran melalui promosi pada media sosial Instagram pada Wedang Uwuh, kemudian dari perhitungan efektivitas promosi pada Instagram Taruna UMKM Taruna Agro Nusantara diketahui bahwa promosi dikategorikan efektif dengan nilai efektivitas tahapan Attention sebesar 76%, tahapan Interest sebesar 78%, tahapan Desire sebesar 76%, serta tahapan Action sebesar 73%.UMKM Taruna Agro Nusantara merupakan UMKM yang sedang berkembang di bidang tanaman biofarmaka yang dimulai dari budidaya tanaman, pengolahan hasil budidaya tanaman, sampai dengan penjualan produk hasil olahan. IMPLEMENTASI PESTISIDA NABATI DAN PUPUK KOMPOS PADA CABAI KERITING DI KELOMPOK WANITA TANI PUTRI HANDAYANI, PEKON SIDOKATON, KECAMATAN GISTING
Tanaman cabai merah keriting dapat menurun kualitas dan kuantitasnya karena penyakit kuning yang menyerang pada fase vegetatif maupun fase generatif. Kelompok Wanita Tani Putri Handayani di Pekon Sidokaton, Kecamatan Gisting masih menerapkan pestisida dan pupuk kimia untuk budidaya tanaman cabai keriting. Metode yang dilakukan untuk pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai dengan kunjungan dan penyuluhan ke KWT Putri Handayani dan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan budidaya cabai merah keriting, pembuatan pestisida nabati serta perbanyakan dan pembuatan kompos Azolla. Setelah pestisida nabati dan pupuk kompos Azolla dibuat, kemudian diaplikasikan pada tanaman cabai merah keriting yang ditanam di lahan percobaan. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pengamatan intensitas serangan penyakit dan dilakukan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah KWT Putri Handayani tertarik dan minat untuk membudidayakan cabai merah keriting secara organik (mengimplementasikan pestisida nabati dan kompos azolla). Setelah pemberian penyuluhan KWT Putri Handayani mampu membuat pestisida nabati dan kompos Azolla secara mandiri. Hasil pengamatan nilai intensitas serangan penyakit kuning keriting pada budidaya cabai merah keriting secara organik setelah diaplikasikan pestisida nabati hanya sampai 30%
Keragaan Perikanan Cantrang (Studi Kasus di PPN Brondong)
Cantrang merupakan alat tangkap yang berkembang dengan pesat sebagai teknologi penangkapan ikan pengganti trawl, dimana trawl telah dilarang beroperasi di wilayah Indonesia sejak diterbitkannya Keppres No. 39 tahun 1980. Cantrang merupakan jenis alat tangkap yang dominan digunakan oleh nelayan yang berbasis di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Brondong, Kabupaten Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi spesifikasi alat tangkap cantrang, konstruksi dan hasil tangkapan cantrang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian cantrang mendominasi sebesar 75% alat penangkapan ikan di PPN Brondong, ukuran rata-rata kapal cantrang di PPN Brondong dengan panjang (Ldek), lebar (B) dan dalam (D) adalah 14,08 m, 6,03 m, dan 2,24 m. Selain itu, jenis hasil tangkapan ikan dengan menggunakan alat penangkap ikan cantrang didominasi oleh jenis-jenis ikan demersal.

RESPON BAYAM BRAZIL (Alternanthera sissoo) PADA APLIKASI SUMBER CAHAYA BUATAN DENGAN MEDIA PUPUK KANDANG KAMBING DAN KOMPOS Eichhornia crassipes
The study aimed to determine the response of Brazilian spinach plants to the application of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) compost and goat manure with LED and fluorescent artificial light. The research was conducted at KP2 Instiper in Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman from April to June 2022. The research used an experimental method with a split-plot design. The main plot in the form of artificial light consists of 3 types, namely: Control (sunlight), 18 Watt Neon Lights, and 36 Watt LED Lights. The subplots consisted of 3 types of organic fertilizers, namely: Control (without fertilizer), water hyacinth compost, and goat manure compost, so 3 x 3 = 9 treatment combinations were obtained, each with 3 replications. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the combination of various light sources and various organic fertilizers affects the growth of Brazilian spinach (Alternanthera sissoo). The growth and biomass of Brazilian spinach in a combination of sunlight and 36 Watt LED lights with water hyacinth compost and goat manure was better than the growth and biomass of Brazilian spinach in a combination of 18 Watt fluorescent lights with various kinds of organic fertilizers. There is a positive correlation between the crown and root biomass. Sunlight and LED have a light intensity that is more suitable for the growth of Brazilian spinach compared to fluorescent lamps.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon tanaman bayam brazil pada aplikasi kompos eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) dan pupuk kandang kambing dengan cahaya buatan LED dan neon. Penelitian dilaksanakan di KP2 Instiper di Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman pada bulan April sanpai Juni 2022. Penelitian menggunakan metode perobaan dengan rancangan split-plot. Mainplot berupa cahaya buatan terdiri dari tiga macam yaitu: Kontrol (cahaya matahari), Lampu Neon 18 Watt dan Lampu LED 36 Watt. Subplot berupa macam pupuk organik terdiri dari tiga macam yaitu: Kontrol (tanpa pupuk), kompos eceng gondok, dan kompos kotoran kambing, sehingga diperoleh 3 x 3 = 9 kombinasi perlakuan masing-masing dengan 3 ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa kombinasi aplikasi berbagai sumber cahaya dan berbagai macam pupuk organik mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman bayam brazil (Alternanthera sissoo). Pertumbuhan dan biomassa bayam brazil pada kombinasi cahaya matahari maupun lampu LED 36 Watt dengan kompos eceng gondok maupun pupuk kandang kambing lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan dan biomasssa bayam brazil pada kombinasi lampu neon 18 Watt dengan berbagai macam pupuk organik. Ada korelasi positif antara biomassa tajuk dan biomassa akar. Cahaya matahari dan LED mempunyai intensitas cahaya yang lebih sesuai untuk pertumbuhan bayam brazil dibandingkan dengan lampu neo
Analisis Daya Dukung Wilayah untuk Pengembangan Sapi Bali di Kecamatan Baito Kabupaten Konawe Selatan
Analysis of the carrying capacity of the region is needed as an appropriate development direction. This study aims to analyze the carrying capacity of the area for the development of Bali cattle in Baito District, South Konawe Regency. The data used in the study are primary. Primary is obtained directly from interviews with Balinese cattle farmers in Baito District. The method used is the census method of all breeders. The data analysis used in this study was livestock density analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that economic density can still be developed, the density of agricultural businesses is possible to accommodate Balinese cattle to be developed, and the density of the area is still very likely. Baito sub-district is based on a combination of livestock density, which includes distribution and development areas in a combination of farmer-region and development areas in 2 combinations, namely economy-farming and economy-region.Analysis of the carrying capacity of the region is needed as an appropriate development direction.
