    Pengaruh Ukuran Biji Kopi Robusta pada Kualitas Citarasa Kopi

    Robusta coffee is known for its bitter taste and stronger aroma compared to arabica coffee. Additionally, robusta coffee has a higher caffeine content. Coffee quality is evaluated based on the quality of green coffee beans and the taste of the brewed coffee. A good and delicious coffee taste can be achieved by roasting the coffee beans correctly and using high-quality green coffee beans. This study was conducted to evaluate the taste of quality 1 robusta coffee beans with different sizes - L (7.5 mm in diameter), M (6.5 mm in diameter), and S (5.5 mm in diameter). The experiment was carried out using a simple randomized block design and analyzed using analysis of variance, followed by the LSD test with a 5% significance level. The research was conducted at a coffee processing factory in Satak village, Kediri, East Java in March 2022. The taste testing of the robusta coffee was done using the cupping test method according to the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) standards. The results of the analysis indicate that the taste of quality 1 robusta coffee beans is significantly affected by the size of the beans in terms of fragrance, flavor, balance, sweetness, and overall taste. Based on the cupping coffee quality classification scores, robusta coffee beans 1S, 1M, and 1L scored <75, which means they are of low quality and considered off-grade.Robusta coffee is known for its bitter taste and stronger aroma compared to arabica coffee.     Respon Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Jagung Pulut Ungu (Zea mays L. var ceratina) Varietas Jantan F1 Akibat Kombinasi Populasi Tanaman dan Dosis Pupuk Organik

    The research aims to determine the effect of different combinations of plant population and organic fertilizer dosages on the growth and yield of the best male F1 variety of purple sticky corn. This experiment used a complete randomized block design consisting of six treatments and repeated four times. The treatments consisted of: A. (66.666 plants/ha with 5 ton/ha); B. (66.666 plants/ha with 10 ton/ha); C (53.333 plants/ha with 5 ton/ha); D (53.333 plants/ha with 10 ton/ha); E (40.000 plants/ha with 5 ton/ha); F (40.000 plants/ha with 10 ton/ha). The observed plant responses consisted of: plant height, leaf area, plant dry weight, weight of cobs with husk per plant, weight of cobs without husk per plant, cob length, and cob diameter. The results of this study showed that different combinations of plant population and organic fertilizer dosages had an effect on the plant height, plant height, leaf area at, plant dry weight, weight of cobs with husk per plant, weight of cobs without husk per plant, cob length, and cob diameter of male F1 Jantan variety of purple sticky corn. The combination of 40,000 plants/ha plant population with 5 tons/ha of organic fertilizer gave the best yield for male F1 Jantan variety of Pulut Ungu corn plants.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi populasi tanaman dan dosis pupuk organik yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung Pulut Ungu varietas Jantan F1 yang terbaik. Percobaan ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap terdiri dari enam perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak empat kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari : A. (66.666 tan./ha dengan 5 ton/ha) ; B. (66.666 tan./ha dengan 10 ton/ha); C (53.333 tan./ha dengan 5 ton/ha); D (53.333 tan./ha dengan 10 ton/ha); E (40.000 tan./ha dengan 5 ton/ha); F (40.000 tan./ha dengan 10 ton/ha). Respon tanaman yang diamati terdiri dari : tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot kering tanaman, bobot tongkol berkelobot per tanaman, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman, panjang tongkol dan diameter tongkol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kombinasi populasi tanaman dan dosis pupuk organik yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap  tinggi tanaman, tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot kering tanaman, bobot tongkol berkelobot per tanaman, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman, panjang tongkol dan diameter tanaman jagung Pulut Ungu Varietas Jantan F1.     Inventory of Traditional Fishing Gear in Floodplain at Pedamaran, Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatera

    Capture fisheries in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, especially in Pedamaran sub-district, are mostly sourced from the floodplain area. Therefore, fishermen use various types of fishing gear in their fishing activities. Information on various types of fishing gear used by fishermen in Pedamaran sub-district is still minimal. This research was conducted in May 2022. This reasearch aimed to inventory of the types of fishing gear were operated by fishermen in floodplain, Pedamaran District. The method used in this research is a survey method and interviews with fishermen who land fish at the Land Fisheries Fish Auction Place, Pedamaran sub-district. Based on the results of the study, the fishing gear used by fishermen is divided into four groups, namely the pot trap group (sengirai, bubu, kemilar, pukat, roket), barrier trap (kilung, waring), gill net (net) and hook line (pancing, tajur)

    The Optimalization of Probiotic Based Liquid, Powder and Combination on Broiler Performance

    Broiler are live microorganisms that are given in adequate amounts to provide health benefits to the body. Probiotics are live microorganisms that have a good effect on the health of the host (broiler). The use of probiotics for broilers has a function to increase growth and feed efficiency. Giving probiotics in drinking water has the potential to help the digestive system in broilers. The general objective of this research is to examine the use of probiotics as an alternative to AGP (Antibiotic Growth Promoter) in broiler feed and drink. The experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 5 repetitions, namely T0 = Control (Without Probiotics), T1 = Basal Diet + Probiotic Powder (50 mg/Kg), T2 = Drinking Water + Probiotic Liquid (1 ml/L) , and T3= Combination (Basal Diet + Probiotic Powder 25 mg/kg) with (Drinking Water + Probiotic Liquid 0.5 ml/L). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and further test using LSD (Least Significant Different). Observations made Average Day Gain (ADG), Body Weight (BW) and mortality in broilers related to the use of probiotics. In the observation of body weight at the age of 7, 14, and 21 days, the addition of probiotics was significant. Observation of body weight at the age of 14 days in treatment T2 and T3 was significantly different. In the observation of Average Day Gain (ADG) at the age of 7,14, 21 and 28 days are significant. After further testing, Least Significant Different (LSD) in the grower phase (14 days) was significantly different in T2 and T3 treatments. In monitoring overall mortality for 28 days, the addition of prebiotics significantly reduced mortality compared to controls. The conclusion is that the addition of probiotics is significant in observing the performance of body weight, adg, and mortality.     Stevia can be developed by vegetative and generative propagation, while the generative propagation of stevia can be done through seeds. Conventional provision of seeds or seedlings has a low success rate. Propagation via tissue culture is faster, produces more seeds, and is identical to the parent, so the plants’ quality is expected. Plant growth regulator (PGR) often used for tissue culture is type auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins. The function of auxin and cytokinin for division cells, cell elongation, cell differentiation and organ formation. This research aims to get the concentration as well as the best combination for the growth of stevia plants against the administration of thidiazuron (TDZ) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA). Research carried out by the randomised block design (RBD) factorial pattern consisting of two factors: TDZ and NAA. The first factor is TDZ concentration consisting of three levels: 0 mg.l-1 (T0), 1 mg.l-1 (T1), and 2 mg. l-1 (T2). The second factor is NAA concentration, which consists of three levels: 0 mg.l-1 (N0), 1 mg.l-1 (N1), and 2 mg.l-1 (N1). If there is a difference in data analysis using the F test, then proceed with the BNT level test of 5%. Based on the research results obtained, the influence of TDZ growth regulators and no effect of the concentration of NAA growth regulator on stevia bud multiplication book number.     CORPORATE ROLE IN INCREASING RICE FARMERS INCOME

    Farmers' income can be increased by optimizing production and increasing product added value. To achieve this, the Ministry of Agriculture establishes agricultural corporation activities. One of those participating in agricultural corporate activities is Tani Mulus Gapoktan in Indramayu Regency. This paper aims to find out the implementation of corporate activities and how much the increase in income received by members. To find out the implementation of activities using descriptive analysis and how much the increase in income of members using partial budget analysis. The research was conducted in early 2021 with the results of research on the implementation of agricultural corporations, including: (i) establishing an institution requires a process and time, (ii) Tani Mulus Corporation has succeeded in building a network of rice products from upstream to downstream, (iii) maintaining relationships in the form of agreements on each network. Members who participate in corporate activities experience an increase in their income per hectare by IDR. 4,985,000. The role of corporations can be further enhanced by: (i) optimizing the use of paddy fields in the corporate area, (ii) increasing grain processing by increasing the number of members who borrow from corporations and (iii) increasing corporate income by purchasing Rice Milling Unit.ABSTRAK Pendapatan petani bisa ditingkatkan dengan cara mengoptimalkan produksi dan meningkatkan nilai tambah produk. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, Kementerian Pertanian membentuk kegiatan korporasi pertanian. Salah satu yang ikut kegiatan korporasi pertanian adalah Gapoktan Tani Mulus di Kabupaten Indramayu. Tulisan ini bertujuan ingin mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan korporasi dan berapa peningkatan pendapatan yang diterima anggota. Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan mempergunakan analisis deskriptif dan berapa besar peningkatan pendapatan anggota mempergunakan analisis anggaran parsial. Penelitian dilakukan awal tahun 2021 dengan hasil penelitian dalam hal pelaksanaan korporasi pertanian antara lain: (i) untuk membentuk kelembagaan membutuhkan proses dan waktu, (ii) Korporasi Tani Mulus berhasil membangun jaringan produk beras dari hulu ke hilir, (iii) menjaga hubungan dalam bentuk kesepakatan perjanjian disetiap jaringan. Anggota yang ikut kegiatan korporasi mengalami peningkatan pendapatan perhektarnya sebesar Rp. 4.985.000. Peranan korporasi bisa ditingkatkan lagi dengan cara: (i) mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan lahan sawah dalam area korporasi, (ii) meningkatkan pengolahan gabah dengan meningkatkan jumlah anggota yang meminjam ke korporasi dan (iii) meningkatkan pendapatan korporasi dengan membeli  RMU

    Analisis Perbedaan Tingkat Discretionary Accrual Sebelum dan Sesudah Adopsi IFRS

    The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there are differences in the level of discretionary accruals before and after the adoption of IFRS. In this study, only one variable is used, namely discretionary accruals. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2009 to 2018 with a sampling technique using the purposive sampling method. The test method uses the one sample Kolmogorov Smirnov test because the data is normally distributed and processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the level of discretionary accruals before and after the adoption of IFRS proved by paired sample t-test

    Kebutuhan aquades di Politeknik Negeri Lampung sangatlah besar karena aquades merupakanbahan pelarut utama pada kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium. Destilator tipe “FAVORIT W4L”merupakan destilator konvension yang menggunakan elemen pemanas tabung rendam dengan daya3000 Watt dengan kapasitas 4-5 liter/jam dengan pH 5,0-6,5, yang banyak digunakan di laboratoriumlaboratoriumbaikdiinstasipemerintah,perguruantingginegerimaupunswasta.Padadestilatortipe ini sistem proteksi dan keamanannya sangat terbatas, sehingga perlu modifikasi pada destilatortersebut, terutama pada bagian suplai air masuk (water intake) dan power suplay listrik dari PLN.Dengan memasang Water Flow Switch yang dikombinasikan dengan kontaktor magnit diharapkandapat memproteksi sistem kelistrikan pada destilator tersebut sehingga mengurangi risiko kerusakandan memberikan kenyamanan bagi penggunanya. Dengan membuat sistem proteksi pada destilatorketika suplai air (water intake) mati, tetapi power suplay PLN masih hidup atau sebaliknya jika listrikPLN mati dan suplai air hidup, maka jika terjadi hal tersebut maka sistem elektrik pada destilator tersebut akan mati secara otomatis. Untuk menentukan apakah pemanfaatan drum dengan metode Pressurized Steam Heatdapat berfungsi sebagai alat sterilisasi media digunakan uji deskriptik. Apabila perubahan waktu 35menit C drum sebagai alat sterilisasi mampu untuk mensterilisasi media topsoil, pasir, dan pupuk kandangdengan dikemas plastik tahan panas.
