Get PDFPupose: The study intends to examine the indirect relationship between green brand image and green brand authenticity on consumer emotional well-being through the mediating variable of green brand attachment.
Method: This study employs a quantitative-explanatory approach to examine the relationships between variables. The research focuses on consumers of environmentally friendly cosmetic products in Indonesia. The analysis utilized in this study is Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares. The exact number of respondents analyzed in this research is 300 individuals who use environmentally friendly cosmetic products in Indonesia.
Result: The findings of this research indicate that Green Brand Authenticity (GA) and Green Brand Image (GBI) have a positive impact on Consumer Emotional Well Being (CWB). Similarly, Green Brand Authenticity (GA) and Green Brand Image (GBI) positively influence Green Brand Attachment (GBA). Green Brand Attachment positively affects Consumer Emotional Well Being (CWB). Green Brand Attachment (GBA) plays a partial mediating role in accommodating the relationship between Green Brand Authenticity (GA) and Green Brand Image (GBI) with Consumer Emotional Well Being (CWB)
The Impact of Information Content and Entertainment Content on Customer Engagement and Customer Loyalty: A Study on Scarlett's Customer Base
Get PDFPurpose: The primary objective of this study is to comprehend the influence of two distinct types of content on customer engagement and loyalty, with a specific emphasis on the Instagram platform. Additionally, the research seeks to investigate how the content on Instagram can impact consumer engagement behaviors and loyalty toward Scarlett products.
Method: Data for this study were collected through a survey link. The survey was distributed to 223 participants, with 176 respondents actively participating. However, only 147 questionnaires met the established criteria for inclusion, as the remainder still needed to satisfy the stipulated requirements. The data analysis was conducted utilizing the SmartPLS4 software.
Result: The findings of this study indicate that both informational and entertainment content significantly influence customer engagement and loyalty. However, it is noteworthy that customer engagement, as identified in this research, has little impact on customer loyalty. Consequently, it is imperative to create and reinforce all facets of informational and entertainment-based content. Doing so will stimulate more active engagement from social media followers, directly influencing customer loyalty
Ethics in Psychological Research and Publication: The Mocked Essentials: [Etika dalam Penelitian dan Publikasi Psikologi: Esensi yang Diremehkan]
Get PDFIn the realm of psychological research, ethics is paramount for upholding human dignity, adhering to the guiding principle of “do good and do no harm”. Researchers bear the responsibility of ensuring that participants are well-informed about the research process, their rights to withdraw, and the protection of their identity and data confidentiality. In the era of generative artificial intelligence (AI), it becomes increasingly crucial for researchers to recognize and avoid potential ethical deviations such as fabrication, falsification, conflicts of interest, and plagiarism. Regrettably, in Indonesia, formal ethical training often receives inadequate attention or is even perceived as a hindrance to research. Ethics should serve to maintain public trust in the value and validity of research. This editorial aims to provide practical principles, rather than stringent rules, to guide researchers. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of ethics beyond informed consent, including handling high-risk topics, utilizing confidential datasets, and engaging with vulnerable communities. The editorial elucidates the process of ethical clearance, outlines four major stages in research ethics, and offers seven recommendations pertaining to ethical fitness. This is to ensure theoretical contributions and adherence to high ethical standards in various research contexts.
Etika dalam penelitian psikologi adalah kunci untuk melindungi martabat manusia, mengikuti prinsip “berbuat baik dan tidak menyakiti”. Peneliti bertanggung jawab memastikan peserta paham tentang proses penelitian, hak penarikan diri, serta kerahasiaan identitas dan data. Lebih lanjut, di era artificial intelligence (AI) generatif, makin penting bagi peneliti untuk mengenali dan menghindari potensi penyimpangan seperti fabrikasi, falsifikasi, konflik kepentingan, dan plagiarisme. Sayangnya, di Indonesia, pelatihan etika secara formal kurang diperhatikan atau bahkan sering dianggap menghambat penelitian. Etika seharusnya mempertahankan kepercayaan publik terhadap nilai dan validitas penelitian. Editorial ini bertujuan menyediakan prinsip praktis, bukan hanya aturan ketat, untuk membimbing peneliti. Ada penekanan khusus terkait pentingnya etika selain persetujuan partisipasi, termasuk dalam topik berisiko tinggi, penggunaan dataset rahasia, dan bekerja dengan komunitas rentan. Editorial juga menjelaskan proses klirens etik, menguraikan empat tahapan utama dalam etika penelitian, dan menyediakan tujuh rekomendasi terkait kelaikan etik. Determinant Dermatitis Kontak pada Petani Rumput Laut
Get PDFAbstract—Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) shows that 50-90% of cases of skin disease are contact dermatitis. The purpose of this study was to analyze determinants of incidence of contact dermatitis in seaweed farmers in Muna District, Southeast Sulawesi. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study is 526 people who work as seaweed farmers with a total sample of 222 people calculated using the formula n = N Z2 P(1-P)/(N-1)d2 + Z2 P(1-P). Samples were taken by accidental sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Analysis of data used the chi square test with α = 0.05. The results of the analysis showed that a history of skin disease (p = 0.000 <0.05) and personal hygiene (p = 0.000 <0.05).Thus it can be concluded that a history of skin disease and personal hygiene are determinants of the incidence of contact dermatitis in seaweed farmers.

Abstrak—Word Health Organization (WHO) menunjukkan bahwa 50-90% kasus penyakit kulit yang terjadi adalah dermatitis kontak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis determinan kejadian dermatitis kontak pada petani rumput laut yang ada di Kabupaten Muna Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang bekerja sebagai petani rumput sebanyak 526 dengan jumlah sampel 222 orang yang dihitung menggunakan rumus n = N Z2 P(1-P)/(N-1)d2 + Z2 P(1-P). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik accidental sampling. Intrumen pengumpul data penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji chi square dengan α =0,05. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa riwayat penyakit kulit (p=0,000<0,05) dan personal hygiene (p=0,000<0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa riwayat penyakit kulit dan personal hygiene merupakan determinan kejadian dermatitis kontak pada petani rumput laut.

UJI MODEL HUBUNGAN DARK TRIAD TRAITS DENGAN HUMOR STYLE DAN SCHADENFREUDE
Get PDFAbstract—This research explores the relationship between dark triad traits, humor style, and schadenfreude. The participants in the study consisted of 302 undergraduate students ranging from early to final semesters, aged over 17 years, selected using accidental sampling technique. Measurements were conducted using the Short Dark Triad Traits Scale (SD3), the Humor Style Questionnaire (HSQ), and the Schadenfreude Scale. The results of the model test indicate that individuals with dark triad traits, particularly psychopathy, tend to adopt an aggressive humor style and experience schadenfreude. Future research is recommended to compare two population groups using direct and indirect effect analysis and bootstrapping methods. This could provide a deeper insight into the impact of dark triad traits on humor style and schadenfreude.

Abstrak—Penelitian ini membahas hubungan dark triad traits dengan humor style dan schadenfreude. Partisipan dalam penelitian 302 mahasiswa semester awal hingga semester akhir di atas 17 tahun dengan teknik sampling accidental. Pengukuran menggunakan skala short dark triad traits (SD3), humor style questionnaire (HSQ), Skala Schadenfreude. Hasil uji model menunjukan individu dengan dark triad traits khususnya psikopati cenderung mengadopsi aggressive humor style dan mengalami schadenfreude. Penelitian mendatang disarankan untuk membandingkan dua kelompok populasi dengan analisis direct and indirect effect dan metode bootstrapping. Ini dapat memberikan wawasan lebih mendalam tentang dampak dark triad traits terhadap humor style dan schadenfreude.

This thesis raises the case of food problems faced by Indonesian consumers, precisely in Probolinggo district, which was carried out by the defendant, namely business actor S as a producer and seller of anchor brand consumption salt products without having a distribution permit by way of business actor S buying refined salt from salt farmers, then salt It is molded in a checkerboard shape and the salt is put in a heating oven to make it solid and hard. Salt products that have been hard and solid will be sprayed with liquid iodine, after which the salt is put into plastic packaging for business actors to sell to consumers. Business actor S sells the product to consumers without a product distribution permit, so business actor S violates Law Number 18 of 2012 concerning Food.

Abstrak—Penulisan jurnal ilmiah ini adalah sebagai suatu syarat untuk kelulusan dan mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Hukum di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Surabaya. Skripsi ini mengangkat kasus permasalahan pangan yang dihadapi konsumen Indonesia, tepatnya dikabupaten Probolinggo yang dilakukan oleh terdakwa yaitu pelaku usaha S sebagai produsen sekaligus penjual produk garam konsumsi merek jangkar tanpa memiliki izin edar dengan cara pelaku usaha S membeli garam halus dari petani garam, kemudian garam tersebut dicetak dengan cetakan berbentuk kotak-kotak dan garam tersebut dimasukan ke dalam oven pemanas supaya menjadi padat dan keras. Produk garam yang telah keras dan padat akan disemprot dengan cairan yodium, setelah itu garam tersebut dimasukan kedalam plastik kemasan untuk pelaku usaha S jual kepada konsumen. Pelaku usaha S menjual produk tersebut kepada konsumen tanpa adanya suatu izin edar produk, sehingga pelaku usaha S melanggar Undang-Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2012 tentang Pangan.

Paxlovid in Kidney Failure: A Review
Get PDFThe COVID-19 virus caused a global pandemic that claimed many lives. Various vaccines and drugs are used for COVID-19 both via intravenous and oral routes. Paxlovid is a treatment given orally to patients who experience symptoms and is even considered effective in reducing high-risk COVID-19 virus infections. Kidney failure is a special population that can worsen COVID-19. The purpose of this review article was to determine the effectiveness and safety of using Paxlovid in patients who have comorbid diseases, one of which is kidney failure. The method used in preparing this journal was the PRISMA diagram to select the right articles and Google Scholar, Pubmed, and ScienceDirect as literature sources. Based on the exclusion and inclusion criteria, around 4 studies were obtained that were appropriate to the research topic. Paxlovid may be an important option to reduce the risk of COVID-19 in at-risk patients and unvaccinated patients, moreover, careful consideration of the benefits and risks to patients can be reviewed

Does board gender diversity play an important role in environmental and corporate performance?
Get PDFThis research investigates the impact of Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Sales Growth, and Gender Diversity on Environmental Performance (EP) among 75 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange participating in the PROPER program from 2019 to 2022. The study employs a random effects model. The findings indicate that ROA, DER, Sales Growth, and Gender Diversity significantly influence EP. Specifically, Firm Size (FZ) moderates the impact of DER on EP. However, Firm Size does not significantly moderate the effects of ROA, Sales Growth, and Gender Diversity on EP. The research provides insights into factors contributing to the financial performance of companies and the moderating role of firm size. The novelty of the study lies in the moderating role of firm size in the relationship between ROA, DER, Sales Growth, and Gender Diversity with environmental performance. The research contributes to legitimacy, stakeholder, and agency theories. Policymakers can leverage these insights to formulate strategies that encourage corporate sustainability. This study offers valuable information for companies aiming to enhance both environmental and financial performance, ultimately contributing to broader societal well-being

Get PDFThe case study related to the abuses of financial reports is damaging the trust of the public and stakeholders. This research was designed to identify and evaluate the importance of financial ratios in identifying potential fraudulent financial statements of non-financial companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. These companies were selected based on the Beneish M-Score as the first sign of fraud. The results of the analysis show that the debt to equity ratio, receivables to income, and current ratio indicate the possibility of fraud. Analyzing the period 2019 to 2023, we find that the current ratio can detect fraud a year earlier. These results suggest that metrics such as debt to equity, receivables to revenue, and current ratio can help detect fraud, potentially benefiting shareholders, regulators, and creditors. The results of this study was still in line those studies which have been conducted before in different parts of Indonesia and at the time or period of time
