Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN): An Overview
The plethora of research and development efforts on Wireless Sensor Networks is an indication that the technology has emerged an active research area in recent times. In this paper, a review of this intelligent technology is undertaken. Its working mechanisms, merits, challenges, transmission technologies, simulating tools and applications are considered. The paper concludes with a clear conviction that a sound knowledge of the basics of this technology is a sine qua non to research and development of the technology
Creative Chaos Theory Inductive Method for Viewing Information from an Applied Research
This research proposes a theory that arises from the common sphere of design and communication. It provides an inductive method to manage an initial workflow to determine and thoroughly describe the information surrounding a specific area of research. To seek answers, we find useful: How to start a research work? And how to define a study problem?; since these are questions that usually appear in the initial stage of research and put pressure on most occasions, causing doubts when interpreting an apparently disorganized information chaos that we do not understand. The Creative Chaos Theory describes the use of a qualitative algorithm, consisting of ten sequential stages, so that the researcher develops them in order to represent an abstract graphic scheme to orderly and hierarchically place the information. This theory allows to: explore the area of research from a proper perspective; describe, sort and rank information according to its relevance; propose the definition of a specific contextual framework; determine a study problem; and, later, develop its investigation until the writing of the research memory
Inventory Management of Resources with Discounts in a Manufacturing Industry (Case Study of a Bottling Company)
This article is primarily concerned with the analysis of inventory control of items with price break in companies with particular reference to the Store, Purchasing and Production departments of the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC). Inventory constitutes the most significant part of current assets of larger majority of Nigerian manufacturing industries. Inventory management has become highly developed to meet the rising challenges in most corporate entities and this is in response to the fact that inventory is an asset of distinct feature. Because of the relative largeness of inventories maintained by most firms, a considerable sum of an organization’s fund is being committed to them. The main objective of this study is the application of quantity discount model as an existing tool of optimization in inventory management. The answer to the fundamental question of how best an organization which handles inventory can be efficiently run is provided for in the analysis and findings of the study
Family and Community Health Medical Residency Program for Hypertense Care
The objective of the present study was to evaluate the care provided to patients with systemic arterial hypertension by comparing the basic health units (BHU) of the municipality of Gurupi-TO with and without the family and community health residency program. This is a descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective research conducted in twelve BHUs.
Project approved by the research ethics committee of the University of Gurupi, in which health servants answered the QualiAB assessment and monitoring instrument and the data were tested by the chi-square test to verify if there is a difference in care considering p?5%. or 0,05. Of the 21 items analyzed, 14 obtained better levels in UBS with MRPFCH. Therefore, it is concluded that BHU with MRPFCH, as single health system policies, have better quality in the care of hypertension
Socio-Economic Benefits of using Green Materials for the Construction of Low-Cost Buildings in Nigeria
It is explicit that earth and other green materials as been in use from time immemorial for construction of building at an affordable price before civilisation and adoption of conventional materials for construction works. However, in the resent era, the price of housing as increased to the extent that it is beyond the capacity of lower and middle class to construct or buy building of their own. Therefore, this paper is assessing the socio-economic benefits of using green materials for erection of structure at affordable prices. A quantitative method was adopted in carrying out this study using purposive sampling approach in data collection. Four hundred structured survey instruments circulated among the construction professionals in the north-central part of Nigeria, seeking their views on the benefits of using green materials towards provision of building at reasonable price. The responses received (76.20%), were analysed using analysis of moments (AMOS) via structural equation model (SEM). The results show that green material is cost-effective, readily available, energy efficiency, reduced cost of construction, reduced waste, improved the economy of the community promotes cultural heritage, adaptable to the environment, eco-friendly, enhance social wellbeing, and reduced carbon dioxide emission. Therefore, it is recommended that an integration of green materials will promote provision of more buildings to the citizenry at affordable rate

Fabricating complete equipment model according to the author\u27s proposed method. Compare the results of measuring the profile of surface revolution on a construction measuring device with a roundness meter Jenoptik F315 to prove the feasibility of the construction measurement method
Study of Influence of Formulation Variables on Drug Release: Optimization of Sustained Release Matrix Tablets of Metoclopramide HCl Using Central Composite Experimental Design
Metoclopramide Hydrochloride (MCP), has a short half-life. In order to maintain therapeutic levels in blood, it administered in dose of 10-15 mg four times a day. Fluctuation in plasma concentration of drug is commonly observed for drugs that are rapidly absorbed and eliminated when used in long term therapy. This attribute makes metoclopramide a suitable candidate for controlled release delivery. In this work HPMC K4M was used as release rate controlling polymer for the development of controlled release tablet formulation. Experimental Design using CCRD was utilized to determine the influence of varying the concentration of different variables such as polymer and diluents on the release behavior of the drug from matrix tablets and optimization of formulation. Different SR formulation prepared were designed and optimized with the help of software Design Expert® version 10.
Using Central Composite Rotatable Design (CCRD), fifteen formulations were selected and prepared using HPMC K4M, Avicel PH-102 and Lactose DC as variables. All the trial formulations were evaluated using different pharmacotechnical tests including hardness, friability, disintegration, dissolution. Online Dissolution apparatus type II and 900 ml different dissolution media in the pH range 1-6.8 and distilled water for dissolution. The drug release was studied by applying the dissolution models by DDSolver® software. Hixson-Crowell model was best fit to the F13 SR formulation. The CCRD experimental design was successfully used in optimization of sustained release Metoclopramide HCl formulation

Shopping is all about marketing and presentation of merchandise. High Fashion Brands study the market and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on advertising to create a mood or presentation of a certain concept, hoping that the customers will end up buying their products. These carefully considered campaigns aspire to raise an emotional state that lingers long after the purchase is finalized. A good example; is the budget American shoe brand “Payless” that wanted to raise its profile for the past holiday season, as it decided to play a prank and mimic the approach taken by high-end designer stores, even though only for a few days [The National, Dec, 2, 2018]. As the Payless shoes pranks social-media influencers with fake high-end brand Palessi (1). As the budget store posed as a fictional designer Italian label for six days, that proved that customers are psychologically affected by the display, and merchandising layout, location, and can change their perspective about the product accordingly. This research paper is going to investigate the psychology behind the relationship between High Fashion brands’ image and customer’s behavior, and how this relationship can affect the customer’s choices and buying habits.  
Enhancing Quality of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education: Teaching History to the Students Majoring English through Role Playing
Learners’ sound and sustainable achievement of knowledge, skills and attitudes at the end of a course or program is the ultimate success of the teachers. Learning proceeds from simple to complex and the total process is a cumulative. There must be consistency between previous and current level of learning. The extract of learning should come up to real life of the learners. Quality education essentially ensures achieving knowledge as well as treasuring those for achieving further innovative ideas, critical thinking and problem solving skills as well. Keeping this passion in mind, the current study focuses on a project of teaching history effectively through drama based role playing to forty eight learners majoring English of Daffodil International University Bangladesh. History is the root of literature domain. Without proper background knowledge it is difficult to comprehend literature of particular period. Learning through lecture and memorization typically covers remembering and understanding levels whereas adopting the techniques of role playing can develop skills like handling unpredictable situation, brainstorm to innovate, critical thinking, problem solving etc. The current paper exhibits the significance to learn meaningfully without monotony and with a better understanding.  
Agronomic Characteristics of Common Bean Genotypes Influenced by the Use of Boron
Boron is an indispensable micronutrient for common bean culture, requiring careful studies in relation to the need and time of application since it presents a narrow range between deficiency and toxicity. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of boron application at different times in common bean culture.
An experiment was carried out in Gurupi-Tocantins, with four replicates in a factorial scheme 7 x 4, with seven cultivars (Aporé, Diplomata, IPR-Corujinha, IPR-Chopim, IPR-Gralha, CNFC 10467 and Sapphire) and four application times (T1- absence of boron application, T2- application of boron at 15 DAE -days after emergence-, T3- application of boron at 25 DAE, T4- Application of boron at 35 DAE). There was a significant interaction between the time of application of boron and genotypes for the characteristics of one hundred grains and grain yield. There is a difference between genotypes regarding the efficiency and use of boron. The most appropriate times for boron application, taking into account productivity, are 15 DAE for cultivars CNFC 10467 and Diplomata, and 25 DAE for Aporé and IPR-Chopim. Boron fertilization at 35 DAE is not recommended due to the non-responsiveness of the crop
