Pengembangan Media Berbasis Aplikasi Kodular dalam Pembelajaran Teks Persuasi di SMP Kelas VIII
Get PDFBased on the results of the needs analysis at MTs Muhammadiyah Karangkajen Yogyakarta and SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta, it can be reflected that the use of learning media, especially persuasive text materials using application-based media, has yet to be maximized. Therefore, developing learning media based on the Kodular application is hoped to be a solution to learning persuasive text material. This study aims to; (1) describe the stages of Kodular application media in learning persuasion text material for class VIII SMP/MTs students; (2) describe the implementation of Kodular application media in learning persuasive text material in class VIII SMP/MTs students; and (3) describe Kodular application media's feasibility in learning persuasion text material for class VIII SMP/MTs students. The type of research used was R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were students and expert validators. Meanwhile, the object of this research is media based on Kodular application in teaching persuasion text to class VIII SMP/MTs students. Data collection techniques used in this study were in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study uses quantitative-descriptive analysis, which can present data from the validation test results from experts in the form of numbers and describe the stages in developing learning media based on Kodular applications. The results of this study indicate that the Kodular application-based media that contains persuasive text material is "Very Eligible" to apply in the learning process at school. This feasibility is evidenced by the results of the average score obtained from experts amounting to 93. The average score obtained from the assessment of media experts is 100, from material experts is 95, and from teaching experts (teachers as users) is 83, 8. In addition, the results of the responses from students to this Kodular application-based media were 89.5. Further, research on developing media based on Kodular applications in persuasion text learning in class VIII SMP/MTs students is expected to assist students in optimizing the learning process and support learning outcomes to achieve the learning objectives

The researcher wants to clearly describe the object of research through the phenomena experienced by related informants, namely youth posts on Facebook social media. In phenomenology's view, this study is based on state circumstances to give a naturalistic impression. This study found that Indonesian youth discussed many issues in the world of education on Facebook social media. Posts by Indonesian teenagers on Facebook prove that five main sub-themes form the basis of Indonesian youth's conversations regarding the education theme. Get PDFThis study is motivated by a code-mixing and code-switching phenomenon in Indonesian society's communication as bilinguals and multilingual. In Indonesian society, the phenomenon of code-mixing and code-switching also occurs on social media platforms, one of which is YouTube. This study analyzes forms of code-mixing and code-switching in Narasi YouTube videos. This research aims to describe (1) the forms of code-mixing and code-switching and (2) factors that cause code-mixing and code-switching in the TWK season 2 video program on Narasi YouTube. This is a qualitative study that identifies the data using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques included observation, listening, and note-taking. The results of this study reveal that there is external code-mixing and switching, as well as internal and external code-switching. In the videos of the TWK season 2 episodes 1–14 on Narasi YouTube, code-mixing is more dominant than code-switching. Factors that affect code-switching and code-mixing to evoke a sense of humor, identification indicators, speaker factors, situations, and topic changes
Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Siswa Kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 9 Mandau Duri Pada Materi Reproduksi Sel
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi reproduksi sel dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik penentuan sampel adalah menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Sampel penelitian adalah 3 kelas yaitu kelas XII IPA1, XII IPA2, dan XII IPA3 yang berjumlah 100 orang siswa. Data kesulitan belajar siswa diperoleh melalui hasil angket, wawancara guru dan siswa, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menujukkan rata-rata kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi reproduksi sel melalui angket adalah 69,10% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu pada indikator menjelaskan definisi dari reproduksi sel dengan persentase 63, 46% termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Indikator menjelaskan macam-macam reproduksi sel dengan persentase 66, 14% termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Indikator menjelaskan tahap-tahap dan ciri penting mitosis dengan persentase 72, 11% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Indikator menjelaskan tahap-tahap dan ciri penting meiosis dengan persentase 69, 8% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, dan Indikator memahami tahapan mitosis melalui kegiatan dengan persentase 74% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi

Sementara itu Perdana Menteri Inggris, David Cameron masih menginginkan agar Britania Raya tetap terintegrasi dengan Uni Eropa tetapi karena keputusan voting menyetujui referendum, maka ia mengumumkan untuk mengundurkan diri dari jabatan sehingga digantikan oleh Theresa May. Get PDFThis research discusses the efforts of IOM (International Organization for Migration) in handling Human Trafficking cases in Indonesia from 2017 to 2022. This problem examines the organization's way of dealing with Human Trafficking in Indonesia. The rise of human trafficking in Indonesia is an example of transnational crime. It directly impacts and risks the security of every individual Indonesian citizen. IOM as an international organization plays a role in protecting migrants and victims of human trafficking, as well as raising public awareness regarding the risks and impacts of human trafficking. This research uses a qualitative research method by describing the author's knowledge of the topic being researched, supported by statements from previous authors with relevant topics. This discussion uses Clive Archer's concept of international organizations as Instruments, Arenas, and Actors. IOM's efforts include cooperation with relevant agencies, implementation of training and mentoring programs, and campaigns to increase public understanding. Despite several challenges, IOM remains committed to protecting migrants and victims of human trafficking and increasing law enforcement efforts against perpetrators

Get PDFThis research is motivated by the desire to know the deviations of Islamic understanding in the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur! Memoar Luka Seorang Muslimah using discourse analysis as the basis. This type of research conducted by researchers is descriptive qualitative research with interview data, observation and documentation. In this study, the researcher emphasizes on seeing the deviations of Islamic understanding that are conveyed through the texts contained in the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur! Memoar Luka Seorang Muslimah. In this case the researcher draws Islamic understanding from three aspects, namely aspects of aqidah (faith), aspects of worship, and aspects of morals which will later be linked to deviations from Islamic understanding in this novel. The results show that in this study there are deviations in Islamic understanding that are contained in the texts of the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur! Memoar Luka Seorang Muslimah, starting from the aspects of aqidah (faith), worship and morals.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan untuk mengetahui Penyimpangan paham Islam di dalam novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur! Memoar Luka Seorang Muslimah dengan menggunakan analisis wacana sebagai dasarnya. Jenis Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah jenis penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini, disini peneliti lebih menekankan untuk melihat penyimpangan paham Islam yang disampaikan melalui teks-teks yang terdapat dalam novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur! Memoar Luka Seorang Muslimah. Dalam hal ini peneliti menarik paham Islam dari tiga aspek, yakni aspek aqidah (keimanan), aspek ibadah, dan aspek akhlak yang nantinya akan di kaitkan pada penyimpangan paham Islam pada novel ini. Effects of Corn Stalks Ash as A Substitution Material of Cement Due to the Concrete Strength of Rigid Pavement
Get PDFCement is an adhesive material for concrete mixtures in addition to water, fine and coarse aggregates. One of the main ingredients of cement is silica (SiO2) which is originated from the earth's crust. Silica is also available in plants such as corn stalks. This research is aimed to utilize the corn stalk ash (CSA) as an alternative substitution for some cement in concrete for the rigid pavement of road construction. According to the Indonesian standard, the flexural tensile strength should be exceeded at least 4.5 MPa. The flexural tensile strength has also a correlation due to compressive strength.
The concrete materials consisted of the coarse aggregate (river crushed stone) from Kampar River and Danau Bingkuang sands from Kampar District of Riau Province, and Portland Composite Cement from Semen Padang. The CSA was made by burning the dried corn stalks in a steel cylinder can over 24 hours. The content of CSA was varied by 0%, 5%, 7% and 9%. The compressive strength design of concrete was 31,3 MPa. Testing procedures were based on the Indonesian Standard for concrete. The tested specimens have consisted of cube specimens (150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm) for compressive tests, and beam specimens (150 mm x 150 mm x 600 mm) for flexural strength tests. All specimens were tested on 28 days-age.
The results show that CSA can be used as a partial substitution of cement in concrete. The addition of CSA tends to increase the compressive strength of concrete instead of its flexural tensile strength. The optimum content of CSA was 7% and resulted in an 8.0% and 6.9% increase in compressive and flexural tensile strength due to design respectively. Compressive and flexural tensile strength fulfilled the standard. Flexural tensile strength is obtained by 15% of the compressive strength. Cornstalk ash can be used as a substitution of cement for rigid pavement concrete. It can reduce the utilization of cement and will be potentially cost efficiency
